Conor D’Monte's sentence reduced to 7 years 10 months

April 2nd I reported that Connor D'Monte was sentenced to 15 years after pleading out to conspiracy to commit murder with regards to Jonathan Bacon, James Bacon, Jarrod Bacon and their associates. The rat pack's lies about Kevin LeClair hit a brick wall. Well the Supreme court just posted the decision and after credit for time served Conor's sentence remaining is 7 years and 10 months. [45]

    1. Everyone used to complain about the 2 for 1 pretrial credit. Then they got away with it. Then they brought it back without making it mandatory. Now it's the norm again.

    1. Nope. He had left the life and was hiding out in PR. Nope. The UN are not active in Metro Vancouver any more. All their leaders are in exile or jail. The police effectively solidified the Hells Angels monopoly in BC for them.

    2. BC law enforcement are corrupt, whether it’s white collar or blue collar.

  3. As much as this may be the unpopular opinion, if we were tougher on crime like our southern counterparts. A lot of these guys would be doing 25-Life. Which in my opinion some of them fully deserve.

    1. Yes and no. While many could say the Canadian Judicial system could use some tweaking, we have no need of going from one extreme to the other. 35 year jail sentences for drug trafficking will solve nothing. All we have to do is enforce the laws we already have which we aren't doing.

Building triple bunk mega private prisons is not the answer. Norway has the best prison system in the world. That is a far better model.

    2. yeah man the Americans got it all figured out lol, 800 murders in Chicago in one year this is during the 3 strikes era when they were giving people 24 year sentences for weed.

  5. Apparently Connor did rat though (not sure how true this rumor is). It was eerie to hear Kevin Leclair had started cooperating before he was killed. I believe recounting the events of the Surrey 6

    1. That is a lie. Connor did not rat. He didn't have to. IHIT's rat pack were caught in their own lie about the Kevin LeClair shooting. As for Kevin cooperating, even that's unsure.

Jamie was neurotic. He kept hiring people to kill his former body guards, DK was one. Kevin might have seen the writing on the wall but the court did hear how the police lied to Kevin and told him Jamie was planning to kill him when in that case they just made it up so he'd flip. DK did flip but that was after Jamie tried to kill him and Jonathan lied and said it wasn't them.

    2. Wow so the police lied to Kevin..Awful. I wonder how close to his death this happened and what those final months & days were like. He was apparently a good hockey player aside from being apart of Revolution MMA too. Wonder what's happened to the Jackmans and if they're at all associated to the former group of RS guys. I know Kevin and Albert were close. Crazy

    3. I think Kevin was a good guy that had a sh*ty friend. Albert Jackman was hard core. Google AI claims he's not due for parole until 2034.
