The defiant manner in which Netanyahu is sabotaging the Iran cease fire is absolutely Satanic and is creating a completely unnecessary global economic crisis. The fact that the Pope is speaking out against this is good. We all should but buyer beware. If the Pope makes a deal with Communism to become the State religion, that would be a bad thing. Just say'n.
OK so we have seen how easily a good organization can be hijacked by a bad man. As I've said, I firmly believe the US Constitution is an inspired document. The purpose of the Constitution is to protect civil liberty by law and preserve a free republic. Americans pledge allegiance to the flag not to a king, emperor or politician. They pledge allegiance to an ideal.
Likewise, all American civil servants swear an oath to defend the Constitution not a politician as we all know politicians lie. Trump 2.0 said one thing and did another.
Biden and Kamala were too far left. Trump 2.0 is too far right. So is Netanyahu. Netanyahu is a straight up Fascist.
America can have a bad president, England can have a bad king, Israel can have a bad Prime Minister and theoretically, the Catholic Church can one day have a bad Pope. Pope John Paul II was assassinated on May 13, 1981. David Yallop wrote a book called In God's Name: An Investigation into the Murder of Pope John Paul I.
Pope John Paul I died of a heart attack 33 days into his papacy. David Yallop's book discusses the widely held theory that Pope John Paul I was murdered over financial corruption in the Vatican bank. It's an interesting read.
So if bad men can murder a good Pope, could bad men create a bad Pope? Anything is possible. If the current Pope is speaking out against Netanyahu's atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon then I applaud that. All Churches should. Everyone should.
Yet one could argue that the Catholic church can be at times antisemitic. Like Carrie Prejean Boller, the Catholic who just got kicked off Trump's Religious Liberty committee claiming that Israel does not have a right to exist at all. That flips back to the opposite extreme which is where we will all end up one day.
If the Palestinians have a right of return, so do the Jews. You can't make one claim without the other. The problem is neither group have an exclusive right to the land. They have to share. A right wing Jewish extremist refused to share when he assassinated Yitzhak Rabin. Netanyahu refuses to share as he commits atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon. Now, that Catholic on the committee wants the opposite extreme.
Sadly, I think the Devil inspired Netanyahu to commit atrocities to justify another Holocaust and we all know who's gonna use nukes when they eventually lose. Call me a pessimist but right now what we are all watching is absolutely absurd.

ReplyDeleteThat's Dennis, demonstrating his characteristic good judgment about the true threats we face in the world today, like the possibility of the Pope teaming up with Communism.
It's truly stunning to witness how much western propaganda from the cold war and onwards has broken the brains of people like you. You still see communism as this massive threat when it's completely irrelevant and powerless today. The threat today is corporate capitalism aligning itself with far right fascism. You should be worrying about fascists teaming up with the Pope, not communists. The Trump regime has literally threatened the pope to stop speaking out against the war. They've threatened to bring back the "Avignon pope" which would basically be a MAGA pope or an Anti-Pope to push the regime's political messaging as state religion.
Donnie McWhirter. Using another old profile he has spammed this bog with childish and obscene insults for years. Trump was elected the second term because Communism is still a very real threat in the world today. I would say even more so than Fascism because Fascism is so definitely in your face crazy they rage bait and create an instant knee jerk reaction.
DeleteCommunism is far more dangerous because it's far more subtle and eloquent. A master of lies portraying itself as world peace and global utopia when in reality it is anything but. Before COVID we saw the Antifa riots. Antifa are the Anti Fascists. They are Communists who call anyone who disagrees with them Fascists and use violence to crush them. Antifa built the Berlin Wall.
Trump threatening the Pope is off the hook deranged. No one is going to support that. People will come to his aid like any other false flag attack. If the Pope opposes Netanyahu's expansionism and atrocities then I fully agree with the Pope on that issue. I would disagree with the Pope when he embraces the UN's New World Order.
Corporate Communism is Communism. When a bunch of greedy rich Capitalists fund Communism it's not to share their wealth. It's to increase their wealth by making consumers slaves. That's what the World Economic Forum is. The Director of the World Health Organization was a leader of a violent Communist Paramilitary organisation in Ethiopia. Communism is still just as much a threat as Fascism because Fascism is always stroked to rationalize Communism in response to it.
It's not a matter of one or the other. They're both bad.
