Be Wildfire Ready Commercial

David Eby's government is spending tax dollars on wildfire commercials claiming that "Climate change is creating warmer, drier conditions that can make wildfires more intense and extend the fire season."

That's the narrative they are force feeding us. So one would think that would mean the provincial government is therefore taking a proactive approach to fighting forest fires. Yet they clearly are not. They have changed their fire fighting response and become far less effective

They claim "The Government of B.C. is working with experts, communities, and Indigenous partners to reduce wildfire risks and protect the places we love." Yet that is a bold faced lie. They are doing the opposite and everyone can see that which forces us to examine their political motive for doing so.

Everyone knows that a fire hose is more effective than a bucket brigade. The wider the hose the more effective it is. Everyone knows that water bombers are more effective than a helicopter with a bucket or a man with a shovel. So why aren't they even mentioning Canadair's world renowned Superscooper water bombers in their fire fighting response plan?

Canadair has started building these proven workhorses again and David Eby's twisted commercials aren't saying a word about them. Instead of becoming more effective at fighting fires due to climate change, they want us to throw our hands in the air and follow evacuation orders instead of fighting fires and protecting property. That says it all. Instead of spending tax dollars on devious commercials and on spraying forests with pesticide to remove undergrowth which actually promotes forest fires, let's spend some money on these Superscooper water bombers. That's how we save the planet. Not with lies and deception.

  1. Absolutely thought the same thing. Good on you for pointing this low level brainwashing out.
The way we fight forest fires now truly says a lot about us. It says we have become idiotic.
Helicopters and buckets versus water bombers and water pumps??!!
Hard to believe we really have become this fkn dumb?
But we have and it fits their WEF agenda of man made climate change and 15 minute cities.
Clowns to the left, jokers to the right, stuck in the middle of corruption with you.

    1. The fact that they're building new Canadair CL-415 Superscoopers for fighting fires around the world is awesome. The fact that BC hasn't ordered one is not. As Charles Dickens said it's a tale of two cities:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”

  2. In order to make 15 minute cities, you need to make room.

    1. That's definitely part of it but it's not all of it. The CO2 emissions from letting forest fires burn is more than all the cars they want to ban.

  4. Dennis, you should reach out to Jason Logan about fighting forest fires. He is a former Hells Angel that does a podcast.

    1. Compared to a helicopter with a bucket. Puny.
That's a good comparison. The difference is clear.
