Two bodies found in Kelowna - Another Update
CTV is reporting that police found a man and woman's body in West Kelowna Wednesday morning. The Vancouver Province reports that "West Kelowna RCMP said they responded to a report of sudden death at 7:02 a.m. after the discovery of two bodies in the area of Shannon Way and Westville Way. The bodies were found off the roadway in a wooded area."
Update: Global is reporting that "Police have yet to name the two people found dead in the woods just off Shannon Way in West Kelowna on Wednesday morning, but Facebook posts from friends and family are mourning the deaths of Marcello Verna and Kimberly Ansell. RCMP are confirming that a weapon was recovered at the scene and are still referring to the case as sudden deaths but are not looking for suspects." That would tragically imply murder suicide unless they simply have no suspects to look for.
Kelowna Info News is reporting that Ansell was a mother of two and Verna was a recent graduate from Immaculata High School in Kelowna. Carlo Verna was at one time a full patch Hells Angel until they sucked him dry and stole all his money.
Tragically another body was found inside a vehicle in the area of Bear Creek Road, about two kilometres past Parkinson Road in West Kelowna January of this year. The Peachland view reported that it was Twenty-two year old Tura McCarty of Summerland. Police classified the suspicious death as a homicide and said McCarty was targeted by his killer.
In 2013 Police reported that two bodies found in a black SUV that had crashed into a light standard in a condominium parking lot were victims of a homicide, not a car crash. Police confirmed that Tiffany June Goruk and Jeremy Daniel Snow were the victims of that homicide. Jeremy was involved in a cross border drug bust back in 2009.
Apparently there have been several missing persons in BC the last few months. Global is reporting that "The Delta Police are investigating after a missing person’s case led them to finding human remains at an unoccupied home on Tsawwassen First Nations land." The RCMP claim "Although the residence is on Tsawwassen First Nation Land, we do not believe it is connected to the Tsawwassen First Nation." Sometimes criminals dump bodies on First Nations land to hide the identity of the suspects.
Update: Looks like the Popo are going to blow it off as a murder suicide. How convenient. Was Jeremy and Tiffany a murder suicide? I think not. Lest we forget that Larry Pace (Lars) who now lives in Kelowna, plead guilty to murder n Halifax where he hit someone over the head with a baseball bat and injected him with a lethal dose of heroin to make it look like an OD. Murder suicide just doesn't make sense like with Jesse Haddan's friend in Maple Ridge. And just for the record, Brandy Sarionder didn't commit suicide either.
New Update: Castanet is clarifing that: "Const. Jesse O’Donaghey says the RCMP does not have any suspects to look for at this point in the case, but this may change in the future, as the investigation is ongoing.' That would imply that it is not a murder suicide.
Another Update: Tragically, Marcello's mother passed away in 2013 at the age of 43. The obituary lists Carlo Verna as her brother which would make Marcello Carlo Verna's nephew.

Rod Sweeney's trial has begun
The Canadian Press is reporting that Winnipeg Hells Angel Rod Sweeney's trial has begun. He is accused of chasing down a guy and his kid on their bicycles while in his car and beating him with a metal pole.
Update: In 2011 Kevin Sylvester shot Hells Angel Rod Sweeney in the head as he sat in his tow truck with his young son beside him in retaliation for the disapearance and presumed murder of his brother Darwin Sylvester, who was president of the former Spartans motorcycle club. In 2001 Dale Sweeney, a member of the Angels and brother of Rod Sweeney was charged with attempted murder for shooting Kevin Sylvester.
The Winnipeg Free Press reported that in 1982 "the Los Brovos and the Spartans merged - the Spartans were led by Darwin Sylvester, Graham's younger brother. The reason for merger was to present a united gang the Hells Angels could take over. With the merger, the Spartans ceased to exist."
"The merger unravelled in late 1983 when two Los Brovos were arrested for the rape of 27-year-old woman. The crime made headlines after a deputy police chief was brought in to mediate between the bikers and the victim's angry brothers and father. A van the rape victim's sister owned was found rigged with dynamite. Sylvester and his fellow former Spartans wanted the accused kicked out of the merged gang, feeling they were bad for publicity and brought too much heat. The Los Brovos refused. Sylvester left the gang." Things got ugly after that.
However, "In June 1975, three Spartans gang members -- including its co-founder, Graham Sylvester -- were charged with the rape of a 16-year-old girl. They were later convicted."
"In late 1994, Stadnik flew to Winnipeg and demanded a truce between the two gangs. He set up a third motorcycle gang, the Red Liners, of independent bikers and known drug dealers. The thinking was that by throwing a third gang into the mix, the pot would really start to boil. Whoever rose to the top would become a Hells Angel.
In May 1996, longtime Los Brovos member David Boyko was murdered in Halifax while attending a Hells Angels event. It's believed Magnussen shot Boyko to death to move up the Hells Angels' ranks. In May 1998, Magnussen's bound, decomposed body was pulled out of the St. Lawrence Seaway. He had been beaten to death, wrapped in plastic and dumped in the seaway.
"Ten years later, the violence has renewed, and at the centre of it is the Hells Angels, which despite three high-profile police stings that led to numerous arrests of members and associates, have yet to suffer a knockout blow."
Prince George, Abbotsford and Nanaimo shootings, prison fatality
The RCMP are reporting that they responded to a shooting in Prince George Sunday morning. Someone fired a shotgun at a house then fled the scene. News 1130 is reporting that there was a suspicious death at the Fraser Regional Correctional Facility in Maple Ridge last night. The altercation was a fight between two individuals.
Abby News is reporting there was a shooting in Abbotsford Sunday morning. The Surrey Leader reported that ERT was in Surrey monday evening executing a warrant on a robbery suspect.
Update: The Nanaimo Blletin is reporting that: "Two men are in custody and the police investigation continues into what appears to be a drive-by shooting in Nanaimo today. Police responded to calls about shots fired on Wakesiah Avenue near Second Street shortly before 4 p.m. "We had reports of multiple shots fired into an unoccupied vehicle parked in a residential area of Nanaimo near a children's daycare," said Const. Gary O'Brien, Nanaimo RCMP spokesman."

RCMP Overtime Cost $900K in Entrapment case
The Huffington Post is reporting that The RCMP spent just over $900,000 in overtime pay over the course of a five-month undercover operation that led to the arrests of two terrorism suspects in British Columbia. Documents obtained by The Canadian Press through a freedom-of-information request show the Mounties paid at least 200 people, mostly police officers, $911,090.54 for overtime work during the investigation, which was code named Project Souvenir.
This was just the overtime bill for the ridiculous entrapment case. The overall cost of the operation was not provided. Where is the public accountability for tax dollars misspent?
Rob Gordon, a criminologist at Simon Fraser University said "Here, the concern very much is that all of this money may have been wasted because police may have overstepped an ethical mark ... about encouraging people to do things," Gordon said, referring to the question of whether the couple were entrapped. "If they're encouraging them, what was the purpose? The answer to that is, well, to get a conviction: to show that they're doing something about terrorism issues." "That's a cynical view,'' he added. Indeed. Without the RCMP there was no means or motive to commit the crime. It was a huge waste of tax dollars. BTW CSIS are still in contempt of court. Again.
KKK endorses Donald Trump
David Duke, a white nationalist and former Klu Klux Klan grand wizard, said voting for anyone besides Donald Trump “is really treason to your heritage.” So CNN asked Trump about the endorsement and asked him three times to disavow the support his campaign is getting from white supremacist groups. Huffington Post posted his response. Now he's claiming he had a faulty earpiece and couldn't hear what group he was being asked about. Yet he repeated the term white supremacists so he did hear that part.
Mashable.com is reporting that "While Trump's focus on immigration policy has indeed proved popular among Republican voters, many of his remarks - such as calling Mexican immigrants drug runners, criminals and rapists - have drawn fierce criticism from rival candidates within his own party and liberals alike." His position on immigration makes the endorsement from white supremacists not very surprising.
I have two points to make in this circus side show. First it is astounding that the KKK still exists in today's society. We are supposed to be getting more educated and more civilized as time progresses. Instead we are de evolving into neanderthals and hillbillies. F*ck the South. Who would fight a war over the right to have slaves? Those are not the kind of people civilized human beings would want to be an a union with.
Donald Trump says he likes Canada and wouldn't build a wall between the US and Canada just between the US and Mexico yet he already has. Donald Trump has totally alienated Canada by making such insanely racist comments about all Latinos. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. The shocking and disappointing thing is how far the raging lunatic has gone in this campaign. If he becomes president there is no way in hell I'm crossing the 49th parallel. People talk about enemies of the Constitution both foreign and domestic. Donald Trump is a domestic enemy of the Constitution. Yet he isn't the only one.
I had a friend who was unlawfully detained at the truck border crossing last year. When I went there the following day to lodge a complaint they told me my friend was not entitled to a lawyer and that they were not governed by Constitutional law at the border they were governed by immigration law. I kid you not. They tore up the Constitutional right in front of me and danced on it's ashes. They most certainly were not oath keepers. If they claim that Canadians are not protected by the Canadian charter of rights or the US Constitution while on American soil and can be arrested without charge, unlawfully detained and denied a lawyer at will, they why and the hell would any Canadian want to go there to visit?
In contrast Justin Trudeau is being billed as the anti Trump. Thank God for that.
My second point is that this is indeed a circus side show. Don't vote for this raging lunatic, vote for the dirty crook instead. That's what we are looking at when he look to Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush as alternatives. Have we forgotten the Bush Clinton fraud already? It all started in Mena, Arkansas when Bill Clinton was governor. Hillary Clinton's law firm were up to their eyeballs in it.
Al Martin claimed that Jeb Bush instructed him to commit investment fraud to raise money for Iran contra. The Bush family have been involved in investment fraud and crashing banks for generations. Buyer Beware. Don't jump out of the frying pan into the fire.
Donald Trump’s business disaster is worse than you think.

Sylvester Stallone wins award for Creed
Sylvester Stallone didn't win an Oscar but he did win a Golden Globe award for his role as supporing actor in the moive Creed which was indeed epic. Tragic that Michael Jordan wasn't nominated for anything but when push comes to shove the fact remains he did an amazing job. No plastic award will change that. Creed was a great movie.
I don't normally watch the yuppie award shows but I wanted to see if Stallone won. Chris Rock was funny but some of the jokes were a bit over the top. Some of the horrible things that happened to Black people in the past are nothing to joke about. They obviously were scripting him to address the hard feelings and threatened boycott for not nominating any Black people this year. I think all the drama on both sides of the argument is extreme. It's like the first woman in space who told all the interviwers it was a shame they were making such a big deal about her accomplishment. Men and Women are equal. You making a big deal about this implies they aren't.
Joking about Black people getting shot by cops is in bad taste. The Rodney King beating was totally unacceptable. To think that kind of behavior can continue in our age diminishes all of us. We need to move forward and move past it. Rioting and looting is not the answer. Kevin Hart said it well. Tragic to hear Stallone lost his own son to heart disease in 2012. Peace.

A salute to Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee
Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee are two legendary martial artists from China who have captivated the hearts of North America for generations.Bruce Lee was more serious into the combat martial arts while Jackie Chan took it to a new level adding comedy with his amazing talent. Bruce Lee was the pioneer. The movie Dragon with Jason Lee is a great overview of his life story illustrating some of the prejudices he faced in North America as well as some of the barriers he had to break down to earn the right to teach martial arts to anyone who wanted to learn.
Bruce Lee's foundation was Wing Chun as taught by Grandmaster Yip Man. Donnie Yen did an excellent job portraying the life of Yip Man in another movie of the same name. Looks like he made a Yip Man 2 and 3 as well. I'll have to check those out. Yet although Bruce Lee's foundation was Wing Chun he was the pioneer for mixed martial arts. I often joke with kids now a days and tell them I studied MMA before it was called MMA, back when it was called JKD as in Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee wrote the Tao of Jeet Kune Do which was the style with no style. Dan Insanto was a student of Bruce Lee and coined the phrase absorb what is useful.
Bruce Lee was famous for movies like Fists of Fury, and Enter the Dragon. The movie Dragon highlighted the time when Bruce Lee played Kato for the Green Hornet which was tastefully and skillfully recreated in the movie Green Hornet with Jay Chou and Seth Rogen. Seth Rogen added the humor and Jay Chou added the skillful intelligence. Cameron Diaz was the beauty and the brains of that operation.
Bruce Lee's role as Kato was miles ahead of it's time. That was back when they were still doing ridiculous fight scenes with the old Batman and Robin series. In fact, Bruce Lee was suposed to go up against Robin as Kato. The script said Bruce Lee was supposed to lose to Robin but Bruce Lee said no way so they made it a draw. Bruce Lee could have kicked all their ass IRL.
Last night I watched the Chinese Zodiac with Jackie Chan on Netflix. Jackie Chan was the one who took martial arts to a whole new level. He added humour to the art welcoming in a new world of viewers. His series of movies called Rush Hour with Chris Tucker are legendary. I'm a bit hesitant about the spin off series on Netflix because there is only one Jackie Chan and one Chris Tucker but I'll give it a chance. I'm more excited about rumours of a Rush Hour 4 in the mix.
Jackie Chan told a funny story about how he was on the set with Bruce Lee in the filming of enter the dragon. That's how Chuck Norris also got his start. At the end of the movie Chinese Zodiac, it showed some Jackie Chan outtakes over the years. He's been around since the Battle Creek Brawl and the Rumble In The Bronx. His out takes are always funny to watch. Not that it's funny to see anyone get hurt but he does an amazing amount of his own stunts.
When my son was young I never taught him martial arts. I drove him to music lessons instead. I didn't want him to be confrontational like me. I wanted him to be different and he is. He's a really nice guy. My daugher is more like me despite my attempts to steer her away from that. Sometimes you just can't fight genetics. I guess that's why she was a bit teary eyed in Sylvester Stallone's recent movie Creed. It kind of hit home. In the movie Rocky didn't teach his son to box. He said his son is a really nice guy and wanted to get out from under his dad's shadow so he moved away to a place called Vancouver. It was nice for Stallone to put in a plug for our city.
When I was young before I traveled I went to the Gung fu school in Surrey which was run by Kirck Jacques who was amazingly fit and talented. Kirk trained Ernie Jackson who went on to stunts in the movie industry. Jackie Chan has a lifetime of dangerous stunts for the world to see. His heart, his soul and his humour has made this world a better place. That we will remember forever. After all, it is laughter that can heal the broken heart so it can. Peace.
Back in New York there was a guy that called himself Wing Chun. I was like yo man why did you pick that name? You do know Wing Chun was a girl. Evidently not. I meant no disrespect. Wing Chun is an amazing martial art. It's structurally fast. Bruce Lee studied it. It's just that Wing Chun was named after a woman who founded the style. If he had really studied it he would have known that. The guy obviously had some martial arts training. He had moves. I just didn't see any Wing Chun in his arsenal. The guy was part of the original Magnificent 13 but after he left the group his loyalties became a bit confused. Wing Chun was convinced Curtis Sliwa shot himself as a false flag attack when he was making fun of John Gotti on his radio show. I told the guy straight up that was crazy. Curtis pulled some publicity stunts when the group first started but I could tell you many more real life stories of Curtis' courage and valour on the street.
Medicinal pot grown at home
CBC is reporting that "a Federal Court judge has struck down federal regulations restricting the rights of medical marijuana patients to grow their own cannabis and given the Liberal government six months to come up with new rules." I suppose this is both good and bad.
It's good because forcing patients to buy pot from expensive corporate giants or from organized crime is bad. Yet so is misinterpreting the charter of rights. "Judge Michael Phelan ruled Wednesday in Vancouver that the Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations were an infringement on charter rights and declared they have no force and effect."
The right to grow your own pot has absolutely nothing to do with the charter of rights. At all. Forcing patients to buy pot from expensive pharmaceutical companies is bad but that has absolutely nothing to do with the charter of rights. It would perhaps violate the laws of natural justice not the charter of rights.
"The judge was careful to point out that the ruling does not change other laws that make it illegal for Canadians to use marijuana recreationally." Which as we know is going to change with he election of Justin Trudeau on his campaign promise to legalize it which I did not support.
A few concerns appear to be on the table. One is organized crime, the other is corporate monopolies which in this case coincide one with the other since the Hells Angels use violence to obtain a monopoly on the drug trade.
One of the first arguments those for the legalization of marijuana raise is that legalizing pot will combat organized crime and take it out of the hands of the Hells Angels. Not necessarily I argued. Exotic dancing is legal and that didn't stop the Hells Angels from using violence to take over the Exotic Dancing industry in BC. Just ask Brandy Sarionder. Oh right, she's dead.
Likewise in Amsterdam prostitution is legal and that didn't stop the Hells Angels for using extortion to buy the Yip Yam brothel for far less than what it was worth. For all practical purposes legalizing marijuana will simple make the Hells Angels unstoppable. It will prevent the police from arresting them at all unless someone has the courage to step forward when they are being threatened and extorted which as we have seen in the exotic dance industry, is highly unlikely.
However, growing it at home might. If everyone is allowed to grow it, then it would be unrealistic for the Hells Angels to threaten and extort everyone like Uncle Joe's did in Salmon Arm.
The other concern is fostering pharmaceutical monopolies on the market which would drive prices up. The NDP are always big on generic medication. Simply because whenever someone finds a treatment for a disease, the pharmaceutical companies try to patent the drug so they can charge the moon for it and make lots of money. Ripping people off with terminal illnesses is pretty dirty. Growing Pot at home for personal use only would help reduces costs.
Again, there is a difference between medicinal pot and recreational pot. Medicinal pot is high in CBD and low in THC. THC is what gets you stoned and CBD doesn't. CBD is what has medicinal properties. Pot that is high in THC but low in CBD is recreational pot. It gets you stoned not healthy. Just so we're clear on that. People want to use the medicinal excuse to buy pot that is high in THC because they just want to get stoned.

"CBD is medical. THC is recreational" - Project CBD

Bill Fordy gets promoted - Updated
The Surrey Now is reporting that Bill Fordy has been promoted from chief superintendent to assistant commissioner. That is disgusting. Bill Fordy's claim to fame is dancing naked in front of his coworkers with toilet paper stuffed up his ass while the other end was lit on fire. He then proceeded to wiggle his ass in front of all his coworkers trying to put the fire out. It's called the dance of the flaming asshoe. At least they got the name right. No heterosexual male wants to see that and when done in font of female coworkers it constitutes sexual harassment.
More recently his claim to fame was when one of his female subordinates sent him a sex text. Only she sent it to the entire group by mistake instead of just him. This is the clown they are promoting at the RCMP and is why the RCMP are facing a class action lawsuit over sexual harassment. Bill Fordy is one of the FOCCers - Friends of Craig Callens. Tell me what did Bill Fordy, Bob Paulson and Craig Callens really do at that fishing trip at Pitt Lake? Who else was with them? Please advise.
Recently Bob Paulson got some bad press because it turned out he lied when he said he was going to look into sexual harassment in the RCMP. The CBC found out he refused to hear complaints right under his nose. Right in Ottawa one of his female subordinates became pregnant. Everyone thought Bob Paulson was the father until the paternity test showed that it was yet another married member of his staff. This promotion is disgusting and is proof the administration of the RCMP are corrupt. God help us. No one else will.
Allegations of sexual touching, bullying investigated at police college run by RCMP
RCMP's recent history of harassment, abuse and discrimination
RCMP Spokesman faces second sexual harassment lawsuit
Bullying, nudity alleged at Ottawa RCMP training school
Disgraced Alberta Staff Sergeant coming to BC
RCMP Sexual Harassment Crisis in MacLeans
Update: The problem is none of this is new news. Everyone who works with Bill Fordy knows about it. That means the person who promoted him knows it too. Craig Callens is the ringleader of this deranged circus. He is the one that promoted Fordy knowing his history. Just like they knew about Jim Brown. Craig Callens is the root of the problem. That's why they made up the term FOCCers. Craig Callens was in Prince George during the time of Judge David Ramsey.
We need to put someone new in charge of the RCMP. Someone who isn't from BC. How about a French Catholic from Quebec or an Acadian from the Maritimes? The French are passionate and have class. You wouldn't see them doing the pig farm. If the RCMP is supposed to represent rural Canada then let rural Canada administer it. The RCMP had a noble history. We have let the three stooges from BC disgrace the uniform long enough. It's time to show a little self respect.

David Giles' Kelowna cocaine trial has begun
Well this is the moment we've all been waiting for. David Giles' Kelowna cocaine trial has finally begun. Kim Bolan reported that the publication ban was lifted last friday. Today the Vancouver Province is reporting that the trial has finally begun and that Giles was in court Monday.
"Crown counsel Chris Greenwood said Giles and Hells Angels associate Kevin Van Kalkeren were the principal negotiators in a plot to purchase more than 500 kilograms of cocaine for over $14 million." David Giles, vice-president of the Kelowna chapter of the Hells Angels, is on trial in Vancouver along with Bryan Oldham, the sergeant at arms of the Kelowna chapter and three Hells Angels associates.
It was nice to see the Vancovuer Province used a picture of David Giles they obtianed from my web site. They are free to do so. All news outlets are. The only one I don't "own the copyright"to is the one of him outside the Vancouver courthouse smiling looking exactly like skeletor. That one was from the Vancouver Sun. All the others, and there are many, people sent in to me directly and the media are free to use.
This was the vice president and the sergeant at arms of the Kelowna chapter involved in a huge cocaine ring. That implicates the whole chapter just like the stolen car ring Johnny Newcome plead guilty to. After this conviction, there is no reason on earth the crown's application to seize the Kelowna clubhouse should fail. None whatsoever.
I don't like the idea of the police or the government seizing someone's home just because they found a grow op inside. This is different. This is a criminal organization doing business out of a clubhouse. When a chapter is convicted of that much criminal activity, that clubhouse should be seized under proceeds of crime legislation. That is in the public interest. I don't care what Ron Skolrood says. He has no right to act against the public interest. Again.
Before Giles the previous vice president of the Kelowna chapter was Lester Jones. He was convicted of drug trafficking in Winnipeg. A police agent bought two kilos of cocaine off of him for $72,000. Winnipeg is another chapter with a long history of drug trafficking.
In this case involving David Giles the Vancouver Province reported that "By the time the investigation was complete, the conspirators had provided close to $4 million in cash, which represented payment in full for the first 200 of 500 kilograms of cocaine, said the prosecutor." 500 kilos is a lot of cocaine. Those are high level dealers. The Vancouver Province reported that it was suposed to be 500 kilos a month.
Kim Bolan is reporting that Giles told an undercover cop that "his 'brothers' (the Kelowna Hells Angels) would take over his massive cocaine deal if anything were to happen to him." Sounds like a criminal organization to me. Sha na na na, na na na na, Skeletor, goodbye.
David Giles claims his friendship is for sale
David Giles case connected to Panama.
Update: Kim Bolan is reporting that the court was shown a video of their arrest which shows Kevin Van Kalkeren trying to smash his backberry when he was arrested.
