Court backlog stalls more prosecutions

Once again the Court backlog makes the front page. Kim Bolan was reporting on how the shortage of sheriffs for court was resulting in many cases getting adjourned. At the same time we also read about how the prisons in BC are over crowed to the absurd extreme where Gordo the Glutton was building prison tents in BC. I kid you not.

All this was happening before Harper's disproportionate crime bill that will now send that fragile system into absolute chaos. Realistically someone who committed murder won't have their case dropped as that would hopefully be somewhat of a priority. Yet the other prioritization has already gone astray.

According to government figures provided to The Province, as of Sept. 3, there had been 73 judicial stays of proceedings for adult criminal and youth cases in B.C. Provincial Court so far this year. In 2010, there were 58 judicial stays for the entire year. The Vancouver Province listed a few of the many cases that were dropped because of delays resulting from shortages.

Some of the cases weren't significant yet others were. In 2009, Jason James Horner and Robert Luigi Polani had their cocaine conspiracy charges stayed when a judge found their three-year-old case had taken too long to get to trial. A Crown appeal of the rulings by B.C. Supreme Court Justice Peter Leask was heard last November and a decision is still awaited. Peter Leask hearing another cocaine case. God help us.

In May 2010, Provincial Court Judge Ronald Webb, in staying a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking against Darren Bryan Williams of Cranbrook, said trial dates were hopelessly overbooked.

So right now we are already seeing over crowed prisons and case back logs where important charges like trafficking cocaine are being dropped. Knowing this, Harper then goes to the opposite extreme, leaving hard drugs aside, sets out on his own Don Quixote crusade against those evil pot growers by imposing mandatory minimum sentences of two years for growing pot. No wonder Mr. Harper hasn't increased mandatory minimums for crack. He must be smoking it himself.

Unlike the bleeding hearts, I most certainly don't have a problem with mandatory minimum sentences. For murder or trafficking cocaine. Not for smoking or growing pot. Especially when the courts have directed the government to fix the current problem of patients with medicinal marijuana prescriptions to have aces to filling those prescriptions.

I'm not going to say the courts are the end all and be all. I think the courts decision to keep insite open is wrong. If people want to keep insite open by a democratic referendum that is one thing. Having the courts over rule a democratically elected government and claim shooting heroine in a safe place is a charter right is absurd. But that's another topic.

Right now we have to deal with the catastrophic state of emergency Stephen Harper has now manufactured with his disproportionate crime bill. Cocaine trafficking cases are now getting dropped. That's not even including the investigations like the Western Wind the higher ups have pulled the plug on.

Throwing all the pot growers in jail for two years is going to further tax the judicial system and fill the over crowed prisons. Three to a bunk is not acceptable. Privatizing the prisons is not acceptable. Raising taxes to incarcerate nonviolent offenders is not acceptable. The California prison system is not a model we should follow. Instead we should learn from their mistakes.

Body dumped in Squamish ID'd

Sunday afternoon a group of hikers found a dead body near a hiking trail on the side of Mamquam Road in Squamish. "It appears the man was met with foul play," said spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Pound. "It does appear to be a homicide." Pound also refused to comment on media reports that the man's body was found beaten and duct-taped.

Kim Bolan has reported the identity of the body is that of William Woo from Surrey who was an associate of the East Vancouver hells angels but more recently went over to the other side. Now he's in a body bag. I wonder who the prime suspects are? If the East Vancouver chapter of the Hells angels contract a murder, that makes them a criminal organization guilty of murder. I don't know about the Duhre Daiquiris but Lotus, now there is some old school credibility right there. They are more than capable of professional payback.

Beaten and duck taped. Yeah that would imply foul play. It reminds me of two other cases in Squamish. One was a guy named Alex Larsen who was run over by a truck because he was lying in the middle of the road. It's so strange and tragic. Yes it's possible he got drunk or high and passed out. Yet we've never heard a word either way. We don't know if he was beaten and dumped there or if he was walking on the side of the road and a car hit him which was why he was lying in the middle of the road before the bus ran him over. The case comes to mind and I wish there was more pieces to that puzzle. They say he had made a decision to turn his life around. Just like Britney Irving. Tragic indeed.

Of course there's that other bizarre case in Squamish, the murder of Javan Luke Dowling. Three drug dealers were driving in a car in Vancouver. One of the drug dealers, shot one of the other drug dealers in the head and the third drug dealer watched the shooter cut off Dowling's head and dismembered his body. The two surviving drug dealers buried the body in two separate locations in Squamish. Mihaly Illes was alleged to be the shooter while Derrick Madinski helped him bury the body. Derrick Madinski went with Joe Brallic to LA where Joe was ripped off and murdered.

Meanwhile in that same original article about a new dead body being found in Squamish it later stated there was another shooting in Surrey near the corner of 111A Avenue and 146th Street at about 2: 40 a.m. on Sunday. It didn't even make it's own head line. Kinda sad. The point is violent crime is continuing and as the papers also report the court system is currently in crisis. That was before Harper's disproportionate crime bill sent the fragile system into chaos.

Man charged in Teri-Lyn Williams murder

Dustin Lee LaLonde has been charged of second-degree murder of Teri-Lyn Williams. Teri's body was found in North Surrey across from Tbarz last year. Lalonde is currently serving a four-year sentence for robbery and aggravated assault committed Aug. 17, 2010 in Kelowna.

In 2001, Lalonde was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and obtaining transportation by fraudulent means. He has since appeared in court numerous times on charges in Kelowna, Kamloops, Vancouver and Prince George mostly for robbery, theft and fraud.

In steps Jason Zailo

We've talked about the Lindsay Buziak murder in Saanich. She's listed on the unsolved murders page. We also talked about it after it was featured on Dateline. We also posted a letter by her father regarding lawlessness. We forgot to mention her father is offering a new reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her murderer. They've even set up a tips line separate from the Saanich PD since so many people have expressed concerns about trusting them.

Lindsay's boyfriend was "cleared" of being a suspect early on in the investigation. That's kinda suspicious. Back in the day, the murder mystery game Clue coined the phrase "the butler did it." In our day of domestic violence, that phrase has become the boyfriend did it. In our sad era of domestic violence, often the spouse is the first suspect. An alibi doesn't exclude someone with a motive from suspicion of contracting a murder.

The strange thing is that the Dateline documentary quoted one witnesses who claimed that Lindsay Buziak was going to leave her boyfriend Jason Zailo. Jason admittedly denied that in the Dateline documentary but there are other witnesses who have made the same claim. Yet the police went to the extreme of clearing him after the documentary aired. In fact they went to the extreme of clearing the boyfriends' entire family. Like why would they even say that. Why on earth would the boyfriend's family be suspects? The rabbit hole in this case is very deep so it is.

I mean look at the guy. Why on earth is he holding a knife in that picture with Lindsay with those psycho eyes? He looks like Jason from Friday the 13th. I'm not sure how she got involved with him in the first place but breaking up with him would have been problematic. She was a realtor and he was the mortgage broker. He certainly has a lot of interesting friends and associates. I'm mean that sure isn't Ziggy Marley he's hanging out with.

Jason Zailo's friend Zachery (Ziggy) Matheson was romantically involved with Shannon Christine Spruyt. Ziggy's friend David Martin Niebergall plead guilty to murdering Kevin Black who was Shannon's new boyfriend after she broke up with Ziggy. Shannon was assaulted when Kevin was shot. Later that year she died of a heroin overdose.

Ziggy Matheson left with his brother Jimmy Lepine on the right. Jimmy has quite the criminal history too including trafficking in controlled substance. Sure glad none of that is suspicious.

The Cocaine Connection to the Bassi Virk Case

OK this has been bugging me for a while but I think I've finally found the connection. We've all heard about the BC Rail scam tied to Christy Clark's brother Bruce. The part that interested me was how the investigation that resulted in search warrants for two MLAs started over a drug investigation tied to organized crime.

We know their plea bargain cut the investigation short but all in all, Basi's cousin Jasmohan Singh Bains was convicted of cocaine traficking. Bains headed a Victoria-based group that shipped kilograms of cocaine to Metro Toronto and remitted cash back via Federal Express. His trial last summer focused on one shipment of 12 kilos, worth about $400,000, and Bains's boast that he could supply 50 kilos a week.

Although the drug ring was significant in size and was tied to organized crime, the nutty judge declared Bains was the initiator, the driving force, and the chief executive officer of the trafficking enterprise, and he answered to no other person. Yeah right. That doesn't even make sense but whatever. The point was Basi's cousin was convicted of cocaine trafficking.

Police became interested in former Liberal insider Dave Basi when numerous calls were made to his cellphone from Bains, his cousin. So he got a few calls from his cousin. That in itself is not earth shattering. However, Tips from an informant suggested Basi was laundering money for Bains by purchasing real estate, which is very significant. Those charges appear to have been dropped after Basi plead out to the BC Rail scandal.

Another cousin, Aneal Basi, who worked as a government media analyst, is accused of money laundering for allegedly accepting cheques from Erik Bornmann, then a partner in the lobbying firm Pilothouse, and transferring funds to Basi. Erik Bornmann in his statement to RCMP alleged that Bruce Clark, brother of then Deputy Premier (and current Premier) Christy Clark, bribed David Basi. Bribes for documents is one with but money laundering is another.

Basi was also heavily involved in efforts to push federal Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chrétien out of office and replace him with then–Finance minister Paul Martin. The so-called "Basi Boys" were allegedly used by Martin's B.C. lieutenant Mark Marissen -- husband of then-provincial Liberal deputy premier Christy Clark -- to take over riding associations for the Martin forces.

Hey, wait a minute. Didn't Paul Martin own a shipping line that was found to carry cocaine? Police in Nova Scotia discovered 83 kilograms of cocaine on a ship that is owned by Prime Minister Paul Martin's sons and named after Martin's wife. And Alfonso Gagliano said, Forget about it.

Looks like there was a Surrey connection too: Jaspal (Tony) Singh and Mandeep Sandhu were charged with conspiracy to traffic marijuana between Sept. 30 and Dec. 9, 2003 and with possessing marijuana for the purpose of trafficking on Oct. 9, 2003. The case involved a total of six kilograms of marijuana seized from a Surrey warehouse.

Former Victoria police constable Ravinder (Rob) Dosanjh was convicted of obstruction of justice last October in Vancouver provincial court. He was found guilty of counselling his cousin Sandhu to make false statements to police about the origin of funds seized from Sandhu’s residence. He received a conditional sentence of house arrest.

Dave Basi had been charged with the production and possession of marijuana after police found a grow operation in a home he owned but rented out at Shawnigan Lake, about 20 kilometres north of Victoria. Those charges were stayed June 30, 2005, by the federal Crown.

Ivan Andrew Campbell

Hells Angels associate Ivan Andrew Campbell in New Zealand was sentenced to 14 years for the torture and rape of a 14 year old boy in 2001 and a 13 year old boy in 1991. In a separate case a stripper was gang raped and tortured in Australia.

Under legislation at the time of his sentencing, the heavily tattooed sex offender must be released after two-thirds of his sentence – meaning he is to be freed by January 5, 2010 at the latest. But the Department of Corrections has taken the rare step of applying for an order under Section 107 of the Parole Act 2002, to keep him in jail.

Murder suspect is son of former police chief

Speaking of John Lindsay, the Edmonton police chief who resigned after controversy of the department leaking information to the Hells Angels, turns out his son Mark has been arrested in Kamloops. Mark Lindsay is the suspect in an Edmonton homicide investigation and had apparently been the target of an RCMP “Mr. Big” operation until he allegedly stabbed one of the undercover officers involved last week in Barriere, BC outside Kamloops.

Lindsay entered a guilty plea in August in an Edmonton courtroom to one count of assault with a weapon after stabbing his girlfriend, 31-year-old Dana Turner, in the head with a paring knife nearly two months earlier. He was handed a conditional sentence order and an 18-month probation term and released from custody on Aug. 12. Turner went missing on Aug. 14 and has not been seen since.

The bizarre thing is, as soon as he was released from prison for stabbing his girlfriend, Dana Turner, in the head, she went missing.

Victoria and Calgary Cocaine

One has to wonder if the cocaine trade in Victoria and Calgary are connected. Obviously it appears that Surrey is a hub connecting both trades. The thing I'm interested in is the large cocaine bust in Calgary that happened shortly before Lindsay Buziak's murder. It was the largest cocaine bust in Alberta's history. 80 kilograms were seized in total along with packaging for another 20 kilograms which illustrated the high volume of cocaine passing through Calgary. From where en route to where?

We know that the Calgary police seized 11 kilograms of cocaine along with several firearms including a machine gun from the Calgary hells angels clubhouse back in 2001.

Compare that with a few other large cocaine busts in Victoria.

We know that the Robert Shannon convictions and the Jones Brothers indictment have implicated the Hells Angels as being huge cocaine suppliers in the area. Not to mention the 2 1/2 tons of cocaine seized from the Western Wind.

The interesting thing is, in the Calgary cocaine bust there was a guy named Erickson Lopez Delalcazar of Victoria. Eric's father is Edwardo Del Alcazar.

Interesting to note that Sarah Amelia Smith is one of Colin Lamontagne's friends. Sarah is engaged to Eric's brother Eldriegson L. Del Alcazar. The wedding is set for tomorrow, October 1st 2011. They look like a happy couple. I hope the expensive cars aren't paid for from cocaine. That would be tragic. If they are, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Enrique Delalcazar is friends with Alycia Lynn Faithfull Lebrun who was also charged in that largest Alberta cocaine bust as well as another in BC. Police used a stun grenade to arrest Jefferson Delalcazar in a vehicle near Douglas and Bay streets in 2008.

Delalcazar faces a charge of possession of an undisclosed amount of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and two charges of breaching conditions in relation to previous arrests, Hamilton said. Earlier this year, Jefferson Lopez Delalcazar pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm of Sukhpaul Parmar - a stranger - and assaulting and criminally harassing his former girlfriend Magdalayna Moraitis.

Jefferson is Eldriegson's brother. Buyer Beware.

Since someone has posted false allegations of slander I will post a few more pictures proving what I have said. Sarah and her new husband are a very attractive young couple. Sarah has married into a family that has a history of cocaine related charges as well as violence. That is a true statement. One bully poster said every family has a black sheep. Then I cite two brothers with cocaine charges. Then the poster said two people means nothing. Then I cited an uncle. All three of whom have been charged in very high level cocaine trafficking. Then the poster accused me of being a cyber vigilante. Kinda of a smoke and mirrors distraction to the fact that they were just proven wrong.

Someone else posted a comment expressing their opinion that Sarah drinks and parties a lot, which is not a crime. The denial bully threatens the poster and calls them a liar. Well let's have a peek at a few more pictures and see who the real liar is.

Here's another person of interest Sarah appears to be very cosy with, David Bennett. He hosts a lot of parties. Sarah is seen in a lot of pictures attending some of those parties. In fact that kinda looks like a drink in her hand. The denial bully lied and said Sarah doesn't drink. Drinking is not illegal. So why lie about it then call someone a vigilante for exposing your lie?

Here's another picture from one of Dave's parties at his house in the Highlands in Langford with a Tiger in the back yard. Even I saw that in the news. Dave's in the middle with his arms around the attractive young lady in the black dress. Many of them appear to be drinking. I am told the person on the far left in the photo is of Jorge Hildago who if you search the BC Court records has been charged with production and manufacturing of a controlled substance.

Sarah and Dave do look very cosy indeed.

Here's one of Sarah with Jacine Jadresko who is married to a person of interest named Arlen Orr aka whiteboy. In fact it even looks like an alcoholic beverage in her hand which is not illegal. So please don't lie and bully posters here threatening them for telling the truth. You're the cyber bully. The other girl on the left is Kevin Baker's girlfriend Kasia. Kevin has numerous charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Sarah is a very pretty young lady. She reminds me of Lindsay Buziak who was also a wonderful young lady. Evidently, Lindsay got involved with someone who had many similar friends. Now, you will note the title of this post is not Sarah or the Del Alcazar's. The title of this post is Victoria and Calgary cocaine. I have simply noted that some of the people arrested in the Calgary cocaine bust prior to Lindsay Buziak's murder have friends and associates with people in Victoria who are also friends and associates of people who have been charged in very high level cocaine trafficking coming out of Victoria and extending across Canada. That's all I said and that is true.

Just for grins let's have a look at this picture of Jacine Jadresko nonexistent husband Michael Scofield aka Arlin Orr. They were engaged but she refers to him as her hubby. That's even after sleeping in her car last summer. I guess he doesn't always treat her the way he should. They were recently seen together driving a nice new Cadillac Escalade. He has quite the criminal history.

Here's one of Jacine Jadresko's brother Cody in the middle with Dave Bennett the tiger guy on the right and Erickson's brother Jefferson Del Alcazar, Brother of Erickson Del Alcazar who was charged in that Calgary cocaine bust that was described as the largest cocaine bust in Alberta's history. Jefferson was accused of beating up his girlfriend at Denny's with his Brother Eldriegson present. Eldriegson was charged at the time with assault on another male. In fact the suspects were very well know to the police. (page 6) In fact Jefferson was also arrested with cocaine in Victoria back in 2008. The ERT used a stun grenade to arrest him.

And here's one for the road. Sara and Jacine with Ovidio Acevedo doing tequila shots. Cheers. Good luck sister. You're gonna need it.

Surrey Sunrise

A magnificent sunrise this morning.
Red sky at morning sailor take warning.

Dead man was associate of Hells Angels

Speaking of the Dell Hotel, before it became the Blue Corvette is was called the Oasis. In fact the Blue Corvette loyunge is in the Oasis hotel. Hershal Clark Segal was slain shortly after leaving the Oasis Hotel on King George Highway in the early hours of Aug. 14, 1999. He was murdered by a hells angels associate who suffered the same fate seven years later.

Matthew Mark Rheaume, 39, was found dead in his residence in the 5700-block Camino Court just before 3 p.m. Monday May 1st 2006. Rheaume was well known to police and was regularly in the company of members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, although he was not considered a member. He was charged in the 1999 murder of Hershal Clark Segal in Surrey and later pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

So after all that extortion, theft and murder for the Hells Angels, did Matt Rheaume meet the same fate Juel Stanton did? Time will tell. It always does.
