Two Surrey homes shot up

The Surrey Leader is confirming a scan BC report of shots fired at 127th St and 67B Ave. Schools were locked down but are now open. The Surrey Leader is reporting that one resident counted 12 to 15 bullet holes in the house. The shooting took place at about 11:40 AM today.

Kevin Diakiw from the The Surrey Leader is reporting that there was another drive by shooting in Newton early Tuesday morning. "Surrey RCMP were called to a Newton home at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday after reports of shots fired at a home, near 132 Street and 78 Avenue. When police arrived, they found bullet holes in windows, broken glass and a number of shell casings. It's the second shooting in 15 hours in Newton, both drive by shootings of homes in the area.

Victoria’s police chief exchanged inappropriate messages with the wife of an officer under his command

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Victoria’s police chief is asking for forgiveness from his troops and the public after he exchanged inappropriate messages on social media with the wife of an officer under his command. Normally I would say this isn't newsworthy but it is.

It sheds like on the climate of unprofessional within law enforcement. We have heard some pretty bizarre news reports of sexual harassment within the RCMP that has resulted in a large class action law suit. Yet it doesn't end with the RCMP. It includes Delta police, North Vancouver Police and now Victoria. This was the police chief. Don't get me started on Craig Callen and the FOCCERS. We remember how IHIT(it) made it a practice of getting drunk with witnesses and flirting with them. It wasn't just one officer it was a climate of insanity that is condoned within the force and we know that Bill Fordy and his naked dance with flaming toilet paper is just one of many sad tales we hear forcing us to ask ourselves how do these clowns keep getting promoted?

Sudbury Living Magazine reported that Frank Elsner, the current Victoria police chief came from Sudbury Ontario. They also reported that for many years while working under cover Frank Elsner "associated with criminals and partied with drug users, bikers, and hookers. He set up elaborate drug deals, disappeared for weeks on end, was involved in a hitman operation, and had multiple aliases." Don't get me started on under cover cops who infiltrate bikers because they love that lifestyle. You don't want me to go there. All I'm saying is the climate of professionalism is a disgrace to the uniform. Don't get me started on how that ties in with the Diane Rock story.

Mother Teresa served the poor

Mother Teresa was a shining example of Christian service. She definitely walked the walk she didn't just talk the talk. I remember reading a book by Mother Teresa that talked about some of her experiences serving the poor. She recounted one experience in a desperately poor area of India. She gave a cup full of rice to a Hindu mother who instantly took half of it and gave it to her neighbor who was a Muslim mother. Mother Teresa talked about the event because at the time Hindus and Muslims didn't get along very well in that area. This destitute mother didn't care. She simply said she's hungry too. That is what the apostle Paul described as pure religion. Christ taught about love and service. That is what his message is all about. All this obsession with the one true religion completely misses the point. Christ said by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John said he who knoweth not love knoweth not God for God is love.

In addition to the parable of the good Samaritan, Christ also taught the parable of the sheep and goats in Matthew 25:31-46. In that parable Christ summed up the final judgement. It didn't have anything about church attendance in it. He said I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger and you took me not in. Naked and you clothed me not, sick and in prison and you visited me not. Then they asked him when did we see you sick or in prison and did not administer unto you? Christ responded when ye did it not unto one of the least of these my bretheren ye did it not unto me. Today Christ is referring to the Syrian refuges. Christ said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Mother Teresa challenged us to see the face of God in those who suffer. People who can see the face of Christ in the Syrian refuges and all those who suffer have a pure heart. Peace.

The Parable of the good Muslim

There is a lot of hate and insanity being spewed around the Syrian refuges and I just want to set the record straight: I don't support it. I don't support the hate and propaganda against Muslims any more than I do against Jews, Catholics or Protestants. A free republic supports the freedom of religion. That's all there is to it. Adapting a single state religion is as bad as abolishing religion altogether. Both roads lead to the same place.

Christ taught in parables. One of them was called the parable of the good Samaritan. I think it's really important to put it in context of the times so we can correctly apply it to our day. Samaritans at the time were hated. They were a different race and religion. Christ picked someone from a class everyone hated to show the world what his religion was really about. It's about serving others and treating others the way you want to be treated. If Christ was here today he could just as easily and more likely call it the parable of the good Muslim. The message is the same.

Now we have people hating on the Syrian refuges. Aside from being unChristian it is unCanadian. It's Christmas for God's sake. They are women and children fleeing a war torn country. We should be bending over backwards showing them the Christmas spirit. We have been discussing the censorship of comments on blogs and newspaper articles. One blog reader said I need to clearly define my parameters so people don't think I just censor things I don't like. I jokingly responded but I do. This is not a Hells Angels support group.

If people want to ramble on and on about how the Hells Angels are a nice bunch of guys that don't sell drugs or pimp crack hoes, they are free to do that in one of the many main stream support sites on the Internet. Just not here. My site is for the alternate view. I do believe in free speech. People can say whatever they want all over the Internet. Just not on my blog on my dime. Likewise if people want to spew neo-Nazi hate I'm not going to approve those comments. I support a free republic and the freedom of religion. That is what this blog is all about. I support the Hamilton model. That is the type of society I want to live in.

This is the link to the video about the Hamilton model.

Cocaine was cut with fentanyl - Update

News 1130 is reporting that "Delta Police say two people have been treated in hospital in Delta after using cocaine and inadvertently overdosing on fentanyl. Police said it is likely the cocaine was cut with fentanyl, a respiratory depressant that cannot be seen, smelled or tasted when cut with other drugs. While it is not known where the cocaine was obtained, police said they believe it is likely circulating in the South Delta area." Fentanyl is nasty. Lacing other drugs with fentanyl is dirty. CBC reported that the same thing happened in Winnipeg last summer. We know who was supplying the fentanyl in Saskatchewan. The same thing happened in North Carolina. We know who was selling drugs in South Carolina.

The Vancouver Province is reporting that there was two fentanyl overdoses in Delta not just one.

Suspicious death in Surrey

1130 News is reporting that Police found a man beaten to death and dumped on King George Boulevard and about 126th Avenue around midnight last night. 126 Ave sounds like Bridgeview. Apparently King George Highway is now called King George Boulevard. This was right on King George Hwy just before the Pattullo bridge near the Scott Road Sky Train Station. Scot Road is 120th Street. The Turf is at 12411 King George Blvd.

Main Stream Media Censorship Part One: Media Mergers

Several blog readers have expressed a concern about censorship in the main stream media. Not surprisingly they relate it to the reporting of facts in the gang war yet clearly it goes far beyond that. This is such a huge topic I'm going to have to break it up into a series. Part one is about media mergers, corporate mergers and how politicians as well as the media are lobbied by financial contributions from big business.

Now before you cry liberal leaning I will make a clarification that I have no problem with business. Business is good. Business creates jobs and drives the economy. There is however a difference between big business and small business. When I say big business I'm not referring to an entrepreneur becoming successful like Bill Gates. Not at all. I'm referring to corporate mergers and corporate monopolies. That's something very different.

When I was young my parents supported small business. They said they voted conservative because conservatives supported small business and the other political parties don't. For the most part, they were right. However, times have drastically changed.

Politicians need financial contributions to run for office. It has become so bad in the US that you need so much money to run for president the only people who can afford to run for office are raging lunatics like Donald Trump. That is a huge concern for the democratic process.

OK so politicians need financial contributions to raise money for their campaigns. Who has more money - small business or big business? Who is able to give a larger donation? A small guy with his own print shop or roofing company or a large corporate monopoly? Obviously, large corporations are in a better position to give large contributions to politicians then small companies are. Consequently, one can legitimately argue that the politicians then become more sensitive to the needs and wants of the corporate monopolies then it is of small business. That is exactly what has happened to Stephen Harper and the Neo Con movement. They no longer support small business because they endorse corporate monopolies which ultimately destroys the free market.

In the US, the Pentagon complained about corporate mergers within it's contractors. "Frank Kendall, the Pentagon’s top acquisition official, said the Department of Defense plans to ask Congress to create rules that could hinder mergers between prime contractors. The drive behind the move, Kendall told reporters, is concern that such mergers limit the number of defense firms and give too much power to individual companies — power that will end up hurting both the department and the American taxpayer." No kidding. That is the obvious concern with corporate mergers. It gouges consumers and tax payers alike because there is no competition.

Yet we can see why the politicians have abandoned small business and the free market. They need to get elected and they need money to do that. Corporate monopolies have more money to give. It's as simple as that. Years ago, when the Rockefellers used hostile take overs to obtain a monopoly on the oil industry, the US Supreme Court cited anti trust laws and deemed those take overs illegal. Now the politicians have rewritten the rules and call them good business.

The main stream media is no different then the modern politician. They need money to operate. Advertising is how they make their money. Financially the industry is hurting. The Toronto Star owns shares in a newspaper chain that the local Surrey newspapers belong to. They reevaluated the value of those shares to zero. One could argue that they are trying to hide assets. Yet the fact is, the newspaper industry is struggling in our digital age. Recently the local papers have started running full page ads over their front page. The front page has become page two and the new front page is advertising. Some of the larger papers in Metro Vancouver have also started to do this. Money from advertising is crucial for the industry to survive.

Then there's mergers within the media outlets themselves. Previously I mentioned my concerns about some of the media mergers within Post Media News. I fully realize that media outlets need to make money to pay salaries and satisfy the demands of their shareholders. Often a bigger company is run more efficiently then a smaller company. The same concerns about corporate monopolies exist with media mergers only it is much more sensitive.

The freedom of the press is a sacred thing. When all the media outlets are owned by the same "company" how does that make room for alternate news and alternate opinions? It doesn't. The danger was far more obvious when Conrad Black was in town buying up all the media outlets. He like everyone else had his own opinion. It became a public belief that as soon as a reporter wrote a story that was labour friendly, that reporter would lose his job. Not directly but certainly indirectly. They were first to get laid off in the next round of cutbacks. That is the problem with media mergers. You lump all the media outlets under one umbrella and all the media is controlled by whoever buys or owns the chain. That is a dramatic example of how the media can be manipulated. England is another example.

We remember the Murdoch phone-hacking scandal which was tied to David Cameron and to Tony Blair. The interesting thing in that scandal is the fact that UK media baron Rupert Murdoch normally endorsed conservative candidates for Prime minister but switched to endorsing Tony Blair who was labour then switched back to conservative by endorsing David Cameron. Rupert Murdoch can vote for and endorse whoever he chooses. This goes well beyond that.

He owned the newspaper. When Tony Blair was running for office Murdoch's newspapers would run articles supporting Tony Blair and wouldn't run articles opposing him. The same thing with David Cameron when he ran for office. That isn't just media censorship, that is outright propaganda. The media is supposed to report the news. They are supposed to let every platform be heard. They can have editorials expressing an opinion but they are supposed to have other editorials expressing another opinion. That doesn't happen in Murdoch's newspapers and is a huge concern when we discuss media mergers and the freedom of the press.

People say to me Kim Bolan censors the comments on her blog. So do I. Kim spends a lot of time running her blog and moderating comments. Moderating a forum like that is an exhausting job. You can't please everyone no matter what you do. She has an opinion. If someone spams her blog with their opinion attacking hers, she isn't going to approve those comments. Neither do I. My opinion is different then Kim's. I would censor different things but I still do it. It's not because the gang task force or the Hells Angels control me. It's because I am sick and tired of the main stream media propaganda and strive to shed like on alternate opinions. I'm not going to let Joe Blow high jack my blog to undermine everything I've worked to create. This isn't a Hells Angels support forum. If you want to tell the world how great the Hells Angels are you are free to do that on your own blog or on any one of the many support sites. Just not here. This is not a Hells Angels support site. This is an insignificant blog that presents the alternate view for those who care to look at it.

To be continued...

Fight Song

Ellen posted a video on Ellentube of a 16 year old cancer survivor named Calysta Bevier singing Fight Song. After the video went viral she had the girl on her show to sing it live with Rachel Platten. When you realize this is a young girl who went through chemo therapy, it is very inspiring. Aplus.com posted the video in a news article. The duet starts at 2:00 minutes in.

Brethren, Hoist the Colours

In case you missed it, Finian is Back. The Gangsters out Blog has Returned. A self serving troll was trying to extort me by posting my daughter's name and picture on the Internet again and I had enough. Only a POS maggot will threaten a man's daughter for any reason. History has recorded that. Circumstances don't make the man or woman. They reveal him to himself and to the rest of the world. We are what we are. I am what I am. I will not run.

Trolls like to say my name as if I have something to hide. Go ahead, say my name. I couldn't care less. Everyone knows my name is Dennis Watson. It was all over the newspapers and no one cares. My name does not matter. The message matters not the name. You could call me Jean Baptiste and serve my head on a silver platter. That wouldn't change a thing. Right is right, wrong is wrong. Good is good and evil is evil. Nothing that you or I can say or do will ever change that. However, People can change. That is what this is really about. Helping people see the light and leave the life. That is what this is all about. The freedom to choose.

In the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, the Back Pearl and the rest of the pirates were surrounded and greatly outnumbered. Barbossa said to Elizabeth, it's nothing to die for. Elizabeth responded, you're right but what shall we die for? Her conclusion was, hoist the colours. Win or lose, we will fight. So be it. Indeed the Force has Awakened. The people have begun to think for themselves.

So off comes the balaclava. I am anonymous no more and have hoisted my colours. As you can see, November 24, 1994 I was granted the right to bear arms by lawful authority. The Chief Herald of Canada granted me my own personal coat of arms for the years of community service I had performed. The arms, crest, badge and banner are all protected by copyright as declared on Vol. II, p. 366 of the Public Registers of Arms, Flags and Badges. The shield is for my children, the banner is for me but the badge is for anyone who supports these ideals. Anyone who supports these ideals has my permission to display that badge as an avatar or crest. It is not a patch that goes on the back of a jacket. It is a crest that goes on the front left chest. The crest's creed contains what I believe to be the foundation of a happy and successful life.

Many years ago, when I was living in Ireland I had a chance to reflect. I wrote my father and told him the three things I have learned from my parent's example are Honesty, Service and Sacrifice. He wrote back and said I never thought about that before. Honesty isn't honesty if you have to think about it. Service isn't service if done for any kind of reward and sacrifice is simply the joy of parenthood. I thought to myself if I could one day look back on my life and say every sacrifice I had made was simply the joy of parenthood, then I would have lived a successful life. Not as the world sees it. The world has a very different measuring stick for success. I see it very differently then the world does. The motto and creed contain my mission statement. We will serve the Lord isn't about religion. It's about sporting civil liberty and the freedom to choose. It's about supporting the principles in the US Constitution and the Canadian Charter of Rights.

Thomas Paine's Dream

When I came back from Ireland, my father referred to me as Finian from the movie Finian's Rainbow. "T'was a eloquent gift to bequeeth a child so it was. For the lure of that song keeps me head runnin' wild. 'Tis a rhyme for your lips and a song for your heart to sing it whenever the world falls apart. Look, look, look to the rainbow Follow it over the hill and the stream, Follow the fellow who follows a dream."

Evidently Aretha Franklin's father shared the same song with her. You don't have to be Irish to have a dream and to struggle attempting to make that dream become reality. Martin Luther King was a great man with a powerful dream. He said "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of it's creed, we hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal. I have a dream today." Martin Luther King's dream was that the Constitution would become more than a nice piece of paper on the wall. His dream was that the Constitution would be actually followed instead of just talked about.

Thomas Paine was a patriot who also had a dream. In 1776 Thomas Paine wrote an essay entitled Common Sense which presented the case for the establishment of a free republic. He also wrote another essay in support of the French Revolution. It was the vision and sacrifice of patriots like Thomas Paine that made Martin Luther King's dream possible. Without the founding fathers there would be no Constitution for Martin Luther King to petition.

Thomas Paine is someone I admire. His passion for freedom is inspiring. He supported the freedom of religion despite the fact that many referred to him as an atheist. Not surprising since the freedom of religion includes the right to be atheist. However, when one reads his essay the Age of Reason, we can see he did believe in God. It was religion he was dissatisfied with. He supported a person's right to adhere to a religion fervently yet there was no religious organization he felt comfortable joining. I like him. I have many similar beliefs. When push comes to shove it's all about the freedom to choose - liberty.

At one time I was quite religious. The motto for my coat of arms is We will serve the Lord taken from Joshua's declaration in the Old Testament. Things for me have changed significantly. Although I am passionate about any person's right to adhere to any religion of their choice, I don't have the same passion for religion I once did. However, I do have a burning passion for liberty and the freedom to chose just like Thomas Paine did.

In essence I have redefined my motto and my mission statement. I believe there are two forces in the world: Good and Evil. Obviously there is no distinct like separating the two as one doesn't exist without the other, yet the forces of evil and the forces of good are two very different things. I believe that God is the author of liberty and the devil is the author of slavery. I oppose slavery with a passion. As Thomas Paine said, give me liberty or give me death. So now when my coat of arms says We will serve the Lord, it doesn't mean religion. It means we support civil liberty which is very much under fire from foreign enemies as well as enemies within. To me, We will serve the Lord means we support liberty and the freedom to choose. That is my dream and that dream is alive.
