Eritrean violence in Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto
CTV is reporting that "A violent clash between two groups shut down traffic in a northeast Calgary neighbourhood Saturday evening. The confrontation, between two Eritrean groups, closed Falconridge Boulevard in both directions between Castleridge Blvd. and McKnight Blvd. N.E. Some wore white shirts printed with the Eritrean flag, while others donned blue T-shirts or and carried blue flags with the former Eritrean flag." Sh*t be cray yo. Don't bring that here.
If immigrants engage in criminal activity, they can be deported.

The NY Chapter is getting louder.
What a great day it was! Although we hated seeing all the almost-naked disgusting ppl and so many children…
But many people LOVED seeing the truck and we raffled A LOT of feathers.#gaysagainstgroomers #GAG_NewYork pic.twitter.com/1N8SL91wGV
The light is dimming and the dream is too.
Anyone who has followed my blog for any length of time knows I like to quote songs. Some people like to quote scriptures. I quote a few but I find the scriptures are so often misquoted and misrepresented I prefer to quote other sources. Any inspired verse can lift us whether that be a song, a poem or a scripture.
Different songs move me at different times in my life. At one time the song Carry on My Wayward son spoke to me. Last week a few Neil Young songs spoke to me. Today two other songs come to mind. The first one is from Andrew Lloyd Webber about Joseph's Dream. Joseph has this wonderful dream then every kept falling apart. It went from bad to worse.
First he gets sold as a slave to Egypt. Then he finds favor with Pharaoh and rises in Pharaoh's court. Until Pharaoh's wife tries to seduce him. Joseph was like yo girl, you're Pharaoh's wife. I 'ain't touchin that. So she sets him up and he goes to jail for a crime he did not commit.
As he's sitting in prison he sings "May I return to the beginning? The light is dimming and the dream is too." He's referring to this wonderful dream he had before everything fell apart. Then the cast sing "Go, Go, Go Joseph fight till you drop. We've read the book and you come out on top."
The other song that comes to mind is Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. "Well, maybe there's a God above As for me all I've ever learned from love Is how to shoot somebody who outdrew you But it's not a cry that you hear tonight It's not some pilgrim who claims to have seen the Light No, it's a cold and it's a very broken Hallelujah." I 'ain't a member of the PTL club but I am a member of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah chorus. I'ain't some pilgrim who claims to have seen the Light.
Pentatonix did a really nice version of that song. Recently a coworker died suddenly and it wasn't from the vaccine. Although we weren't told the cause of death we have reason to believe it was self inflicted which is always such a heart wrenching tragedy.
He was going through a divorce and he was struggling with the math. He told one coworker how can I afford rent on my own and pay child support? We've all been through that but today it's even worse. The cost of housing and rent makes living on your own and paying child support mathematically challenging. He couldn't do the math so he gave up.
I'm not recommending that course of action for anyone because it always brings regret but I can certainly understand his concerns. I keep saying I'm writing a book. I keep starting and restarting because things in the world keep changing so fast. As soon as you write something it quickly becomes outdated because there are new crazy things we have to deal with.
I don't claim to have all the answers. I don't claim to be an authority on anything. Do I know how to process loss? Yes I do. Do I know how to process discouragement? Yes I do. That is what I'm going to write about. Behind the dark clouds, the sun is still shining. Stars shine in the darkness. When the light dims, stars shine. We can't see the stars in the night sky unless it gets dark.
I've gone places and seen things and done things in the past but they don't mean sh*t. What I am is more important than what I was and what I do is more important than what I did. The future is a blank page for all of us. What we put on that page is our choice. The painting we create and the legacy we leave behind is our choice. We need to own that.
The world is full of crazy. I'm certainly not going to dwell on the crazy or the negative. I'm going to look up at the stars not down at my feet. I'm going to move forward I'm not going to move backward. I'm going to do me and not what the world tells me. The key is keep moving forward.

Fatal shooting at Ottawa Wedding
The Globe and Mail is reporting that "A shooting at an Ottawa wedding on Saturday night left two men dead and six more injured, with guests describing how they hid in the kitchens of a convention centre to escape a young man with a gun.
Ottawa police said they had not yet apprehended a suspect but sped to the scene near the airport after reports of shots fired at about 10:21 p.m. Saturday night. Paramedics said they rushed the injured – including two men with fatal bullet wounds – to hospital after several people were shot in the parking lot outside the wedding reception. On Sunday, Ottawa Police named the dead men as 26-year-old Said Mohamed Ali, and 29-year-old Abdishakur Abdi-Dahir, both from Toronto."
"The wedding reception, attended by members of the Somali community from Ottawa and beyond, took place at the Infinity Convention Centre, which offers wedding packages with open-concept ballrooms and private bridal suites. Ottawa police chief Eric Stubbs was among those at the scene on Sunday. He said in an interview on CTV news late Sunday that a connection with guns and gangs was being examined by police. He said police were reviewing video surveillance from nearby businesses." I think it's safe to say there is a connection to guns since a firearm was used. That like saying the homicide is deemed suspicious.
As for gangs, let's do the math. Damion Ryan was arrested in Ottawa while he was making sweetheart deals with the CFSEU and running the drugs in the DTES. Damion Ryan hired a Somalian to kill Anees Mohamed in the DTES then rolled on him as soon as the hit was completed. I ain't sayin he's a gold digger. I'm just sayin he's a piece of garbage.

Ensign Ranch Washington State
Thursday after work my clutch cable was delivered so I took it to the shop and they were able to fix my motorcycle that night. Perfect timing because I had Friday off work and signed up for a conference at Ensign Ranch in Washington Sate. Taking the bike down saved a lot of money on gas. I stopped at a rest area on the way down and they had an ad for wolfhaven.org
That looks pretty cool. It's just south of Olympia.
They also had an ad for State parks at www.parks.wa.gov It's good to find out where the State Parks are.
Ensign Ranch is nice. They have a climbing wall and canoes on a lake. The lake is really cute but very small. It's run by the LDS church but anyone can camp there when conferences aren't on. It's kind of hard to find as it's not well marked. I blew past the turn off several times as Google was giving me conflicting directions.
If you're coming from Canada you take the I5 to Seattle then take the I90 towards Spokane. Ya go through the Snoqualmie Pass, past Easton and take the Golf Course Road exit. Turn left, then left at the sign beside the fire station. I guess you can get there from the Nelson exit as well. I must of had it flipped around. I'm not sure. If you get to Cle Elum you're gone too far.
There was a ton of people there I didn't know and I found it a bit overwhelming so I bailed and came home early. I wanted to beat the rain and the rush at the border from the long weekend. I've met a lot of really nice Americans this summer. It's nice to see families camping with their kids. That's normal, healthy and wholesome. It was a clear night and the moon was so bright it cast a shadow like when I was at Bowron Lake. This is the sun rise this morning at Ensign Ranch. Speaking of surfing standing waves in a kayak, I found a brochure about a wave pool beside Lake Chelan in Washington State that lets you surf a standing wave called Lakeside Surf. That looks really cool. That looks like a great way to practice surfing in a safe environment.
I also found a brochure for boat tours in Seattle that take you through the locks to Lake Union. They have doughnut boats there like the barbeque boats outside Granville Island in Vancouver.
I understand that there's an Ensign Ranch in Utah that has a long distance gun range and course. I'd like to see that. I'm told the one in Washington has a gun range and a black powder range. When I inquired about it they said it wasn't going to be open for this conference and to leave your guns at home so I forgot to check out where it was on site. I'm told they use to have a zip line and horses on site but got rid of them over liability concerns which was sadly unfortunate.

Covid Mutants
This is yet another example of how mentally deranged the Fake News really is. The CBC headline reads "1st Canadian case of highly mutated COVID-19 virus variant BA.2.86 detected in BC." We all know when a virus mutates it gets weaker not stronger. That is the science. Omnicron was less severe than the seasonal flu. Locking down over Omnicron was a criminal act.
"Health officials in British Columbia say they have detected the first known Canadian case of the BA.2.86 COVID-19 virus variant. The B.C. Centre for Disease Control confirmed it was found in a person in the Fraser Health region, east of Vancouver, who has not travelled outside of the province." Health Officials in BC are NOT Health Officials. They are Agents of the State. Bill 36 changed all that. The even changed the College of Physicians. They are not longer specialists in the field elected by their peers. They are now political extremists appointed by the State.
"In a joint statement, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix said they are monitoring the variant but added it was not unexpected for it to show up in B.C. or in Canada." Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix are Freaks. These wack jobs are obsessed with their ridiculous propaganda because they have an agenda and promoting health is not it.

Texas and Florida introduced mandates as well but were the first to end them when they saw the light just like Trump. If it wasn't for Texas and Florida we'd still be locking down each flu season. After Texas and Florida opened up the lies of the mainstream media were no longer believable.COVID Tyrants want to take away our Freedom.
