Christmas Agro and Christmas Hope

I've spoken about Christmas rage in past Christmases. How the stress of the season cause people to lose their sh*t. Well today I want to talk about how that stress complicate relationships. The other day I saw a woman talking to her cell as she was marching to her car. You could tell she was upset. Then finally she started saying I am so done with this and said goodbye.

Last week I saw a mother at self checkout with her 12 year old son. You could tell she was stressed up to her gills. Her son wasn't being obnoxious but you could tell she was having a bad day and the wait for assistance because of a self check out glitch caused her to close her eyes and take a deep breath.

They say Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. It can be but it can also be very stressful and sometimes during that rage horrible things happen that can never be reversed. Losing  a loved one at Christmas makes the season difficult. As I said, in Notre Dame they light candles for lost loved ones.

Someone sent me an email and said they'd call during the Christmas break only they said break up. I think it was a typo but I had to laugh. Christmas stress does cause some people to break up during the holidays. As a parent there's one thing you want for your kids and that's for them to be happy.

I've seen some Christmas ago this year and at rimes like that I think it's always wise to pause and take a deep breath. We want to avoid making rash decisions we may later regret.

I've noticed among coworkers that there is a huge hatred for Justin Trudeau among people who voted for him the first term and the current state Canada is in. Taxes, the cost of housing, mass immigration, it's all starting to compound. I see it as hopeful because there's not a snowball's chance in Hell Justin Trudeau will be reelected. As Kamala Harris said, we've seen what doesn't work. Now we can move ahead without making those same mistakes again.
