Justin Trudeau resigns pending leadership review

CTV is reporting that "Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is stepping down as Liberal leader, and is proroguing Parliament as the Liberal Party of Canada embarks on the journey to replace him. In an historic announcement outside his official Rideau Cottage residence, Trudeau declared his intention to stay on as prime minister until a new leader is chosen." Oh happy day.

The prophecy of Five Times August has now been fulfilled.

  1. Playing games until the end, bought himself another 90 days and made it impossible for his party to fire him. "Intends to resign" is a lot different than "resigning".

  2. The turd is trying to pull a fast one.

Wants to remain interim leader while he shuts down parliament......as another fake pandemic is being launched in China.....then he will remain at the helm to see us through this crisis.....

    1. Yeah I don't think that's going to fly. Like how they claimed Biden was going to start a war with Russia to prevent Trump from taking office. That didn't happen either.

    2. Starting a war was never going to fly, on the other hand they have been transferring $$ and supplies like crazy. We're going to find out later that they had military cargo planes taking off for Ukraine 24 hrs before Trump is sworn in, anticipating that he will cut off all of it.

  3. Resigning and intend to resign.
    Words matter.

It would be a dagger in the heart for the WEF.

I'll bet on shenanigans of some sort before he goes.

    1. All the proposed Bills that haven't been approved after their final reading. However, the one of concern is the gun grab add on. That bill was already voted on last year and they just arbitrarily added to it which IMO should be challenged. However the handguns freeze and the previous gun ban list is still in effect until the next government reverses it.

    2. That should be how we hold their feet to the fire, get them to commit to revoking all the laws that say what we can own. They are all BS anyway, a gun is a gun. Ask them, "Will you......" And they will either commit to it or start stuttering. Then we will know, we won't have to wait 8 years to know their true north like we did with Justin. If they are not committed to freedom, real freedom instead of words that never come true, which means real reform, we don't need them, small steps will change nothing and that why small steps is what they want. The next gen of our elected masters wants it's run at the trough, but the trough is us. They do not really intend to change anything, why would they? Then no power, no money, no pension and lifetime benefits that they voted for themselves. The one or ones we really want would be talking a Canadian version of what Trump intends to do down there.
