Youth Shelter in Maple Ridge closes down

The Vancouver Province is reporting that a youth shelter in Maple Ridge is closing down because funding cuts by the federal government. A local advocate claimed "This closure is pretty much guaranteeing that girls who are fleeing abusive homes or relationships are going to be in danger of violent men like pimps, johns and abusers who prey on girls when they’re on their own."

I have mixed feelings on this. If a child is getting physically or sexually assaulted at home or if their parents are crack heads, then that is a matter for social services. Foster homes are in place to deal with this. We know from past experience that these kind of group homes in Prince George have been a disaster enabling kids to leave home because they don't like the rules, go on welfare and not have to go to school. Social workers from those homes contacted me and complained that those kids have no consequences whatsoever. They don't have to go to school.

In the web site it claims that Iron Horse Youth Safe House in Maple Ridge provides a safe place to live for youth aged 13 to 18 for up to 30 days. Yet the Vancouver Province article quotes a girl who has stayed there for the past three months. Again, if someone is genuinely being physically or sexually assaulted at home that need to be addressed. However, kids need to stay in school.

Montreal Mob Murder

The Montreal Gazette is reporting that Tonino Callocchia, 53, was shot dead in a Montreal restaurant Monday. The Vancouver Province had conflicting reports as to whether he was still with the Rizzutos or part of the Rizzuto rebellion. Tonino survived a previous attempt on his life February 2013. May of 2013 he was charged with extortion and uttering threats to a woman who was close to Raynald Desjardins. If I'm not mistaken, Raynald Desjardins was part of the Rizzuto rebellion.

The Montreal Gazette confirmed the conflicting reports of Tonino's percieved loyalty: "Some saw Callocchia as a Rizzuto loyalist and even a possible successor to Vito Rizzuto — who died of natural causes in December 2013. His involvement in a case of extortion against a woman with ties to Raynald Desjardins, a gangster named in Italian court as the leader of the rebellious faction, furthered that view."

"Others saw his closeness to Calabrian dissidents unfriendly toward the Sicilian-born Rizzuto as well as to Joseph Di Maulo, an influential Mafia boss killed in 2012, likely for not remaining loyal to Rizzuto, as a sign he, too, had strayed." However, his connection to the brother of Joseph Di Maulo was back in 1994. Before the Hamilton Calabrians started knocking off Rizzutos when Vito was in prison. Tonino Callocchia was linked by marriage to the Armeni clan of drug traffickers.

Wiretaps in Italy imply he was shot in February for being disloyal to Vito.

Vancouver Shooting

Yesterday the Vancouver Province reported that there was a targeted shooting in a downtown alley Monday. The police found an abandoned mobility scooter with multiple bullet holes. The driver of the scooter, a 43-year-old woman, managed to escape uninjured. She was found by police at St. Paul’s Hospital.

So some guy who was known to the police shot a woman on a scooter. Today they are reporting that the suspect, Gerry Ronald Pennell, a 53-year-old Vancouver resident, was in custody after the police released his name and photograph.

Global is reporting that Investigators say that there was an ongoing dispute between the shooter and the woman and that she was the target of the shooting. Police don’t believe the incident was domestic. What are the odds it's drug related? Metro is reporting that the scooter was riddled with bullet holes.

Kamloops RCMP Officer shot

The Vancouver Province is reporting that two suspects are in custody after a RCMP officer was shot earlier today in a routine traffic stop. They are also reporting that Cpl. J.R. Michaud, a 40-year-old father of two, was the officer shot.

Anniversary of Janice Shore's brutal assault

Today is the second anniversary of Janice Shore's brutal assault that caved her head in and put her into a coma from which she never recovered. She died in hospital two months later. The Surrey Leader reported that she was found in the Dead Zone near the drug related violence outside the Front Room. They had a source that claimed she was murdered for a drug debt. It couldn't have been a large debt because she was a user not a dealer.

Last year I ran a series called the Surrey Winterfest highlighting Janice's brutal murder trying to find out who was responsible. I have since found out that the tree she was found beside was where the drug dealers outside the Front Room demand free service from the sex trade workers they sell drugs to. That's when I found out about Larry Mizen, the brutal drug debt enforcer in Whalley that had a long history of violence.

For one of his assault with a weapon, robbery, extortion, unlawful confinement charges in 2006 Colleen Golding was his co accused. When I was looking for the site of Janice Shore's murder to put up a memorial, I asked several homeless people if they knew where the site was. One sex trade worker said she knew and walked me over to it. It was somewhat awkward but you could tell she wasn't from Surrey. The whole time a fat ugly white girl was all in her grill asking where ya going? She just responded to get a life.

After showing me the site, that fat ugly white girl was all in her grill asking her questions as if to say was that a trick? Did you get any money? Ready to pounce on what ever money she had made. This is what I mean about the predatory nature of the drug dealers outside the front room. The drug dealers are the pimps. They take everything. They give them crack for free then take all their money when they come back from a trick. I described the fat white girl to someone who used to work in that industry and she said that sounds like Colleen.

Here's my new appeal. If Larry Mizen really was the one who killed Janice Shore and if Colleen was in fact Larry Mizen's co accused, then now that Larry's dead, she has no protection. The Big Red Machine terminated Larry's contract. They don't want the bad press. If you know anything about Janice Shore's murder, now is the time to speak up. Don't kill Colleen. We need a trial to find out for sure what really happened.

Double stabbing at Shakerz (Tbarz)

News chaser reported that Two men stabbed multiple times last night inside Shakerz Show Lounge in #Surrey, no word on motive. CTV reported it was outside the strip bar. Global reported that it was near the bar. BC Daily buzz has a video clip. Gee I wonder who let them past the metal detectors with knives. This is Tbarz where they had Dru's memorial.

Tbarz changed it's name to Shakerz last year after it was named as the hub of a Hells Angels cross border drug trafficking operation in a US Indictment. It's owned by White rock Hells Angel Randy Jones. Randy's brother Trevor is still waiting to be extradited on those charges. They put a sign up that said under new management and I said Bullsh*t. Then they had a couple Harleys out front during the renovations when it was "Under new Management." The only thing new about the management is that now it's run by the Surrey Hells Angels not the White Rock Hells Angels since Randy Jones was sent in to baby sit the other Surrey girl rejects.

Randy Jones hid his ownership of it since day one. He had it registered in his mother's name but he had the domain name registered in his own name. He changed that to his mother's name too after I posted it on the blog. Changing the name to Shakerz is to prevent it being seized in the US indictment and to prevent the Liquor board from taking away their liquor license.

Trevor didn't own it, Randy did. Just ask Russel Peters. Russel Peters was giving a plug for Tbarz and said his buddy owns it. He was referring to Randy not Trevor. Randy had the Dank domain registered in Trevor's name but used his e-mail. Let's give it up for the Walrus.

Drayton Valley Drug Bust

Alberta Police Report states that "Three people accused of drug trafficking offences have been arrested in Drayton Valley, following a joint investigation between Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) and Drayton Valley RCMP." $30,000 worth of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marihuana were seized. I hate it when they give perceived street value and not actual weights.

Dwight Lewis, 24, Ryan Nordquist, 33, and Crystal Pilon, 31, have been charged with a total of 18 offences relating to drug trafficking. Crystal is Ryan's new girlfriend. I have a source that claims Dwight Lewis is a member of the Drayton Valley Dirty Few and was with Dusty Blades when he was arrested.

Mobile meth lab busted at the border

The Vancouver Province is reporting that two Canadians who mistakenly crossed the border were busted driving a mobile crystal meth lab. Turns out the body that was found in Langley was chard from being burned. The Langley Times is reporting that "The badly burned body discovered at the side of the road, south of Highway One, in the 24700 block of 64 Avenue on Tuesday morning is that of Edmonton resident David Thanh Lam." IHIT stated that The 34-year-old murder victim was known to police and has a criminal record dating back to 1998.

London, Ontario Hells Angel sentenced for drugs and guns

The Record.com is reporting that Frank Strauss, a Kitchener born member of the London Ontario Hells Angels has been sentenced to 11 years in prison. He was convicted of 17 offences — most involving gun and drug trafficking. The first search found 17 guns — handguns, rifles and shotguns — 4,500 rounds of ammunition, drug debt lists, marijuana and traces of cocaine but was thrown out because the polcie didn't get a search warrant.

However, a second search with a warrant found five handguns, three rifles, one shotgun, 9,873 rounds of ammo, gun scopes and tripods, 8.2 kilograms of cocaine, 53 kilograms of marijuana, 160 immature pot plants under grow lights, 106 grams of crystal meth, some meth pills and $30,000 in cash. Police also found 13 kilograms of a cocaine cutting agent, an 11-tonne press to create cocaine bricks, other drug-related devices, a money counter and body armour. All 26 guns found in the two searches were stolen from a Cambridge home. Strauss bought them from two Cambridge men who had stolen them. At the time of the searches, Strauss was on bail on drug trafficking charges in London. Lone wolf, my ass. They sell drugs as an organization.

Legal document shows nine of 12 full-patch London Hells Angels have criminal records. They reveal a dozen full-patch Hells Angels and three "hangarounds" with 105 criminal convictions between them, as well as a new support club called the Gatekeepers of at least four members, with 17 convictions between them. Nobody likes a liar. Especially from the Ontario Village Idiots.

Surrey Shooting 6900 152nd Street Sunday

CTV is confirming a Scan BC report that there was a shooting in the 6900-block of 152nd Street Sunday afternoon which IHIT are now investigating. There was a shooting between cars in that area last June.

In Maple Ridge, BC Local News is reporting that Two men and a woman were arrested Saturday night after an assault on a third man left him with significant injuries. Police also a searched a house on Dewdney Trunk Road and seized cocaine as well as a vehicle.
