Surrey Shooting
Castanet is reporting that "About 7:15 p.m., (Saturday) RCMP responded to a report of a shooting and found one man who had been shot. The victim was taken to hospital and is in stable condition. The incident is believed to be targeted, and the subjects known to each other. Traffic in the area was closed down for several hours during the standoff."
CBC is reporting that a suspect is in custody which triggered the 4 hour standoff. CNKW spoke with a witness that saw the victim stagger and collapse as he was driving by.

Female activist sent to male prison
CBC is reporting that "Beatrice Hunter, a Labrador woman sent to jail this week after she told the court she could not promise to obey an injunction against protesting at Muskrat Falls, is now behind bars at Her Majesty's Penitentiary (HMP) in St. John's. With no female correctional facility in Labrador, Hunter is just the latest woman to end up in the province's largest male prison."
Meanwhile back on the ranch, Surrey RCMP rally for higher wages.
Another woman found dead in Winnipeg
Once again CBC is reporting that "Police say they have located missing woman Christine Wood's remains in a farm field east of Winnipeg. Wood, 21, was last spotted on Aug. 19, 2016, when leaving a hotel on Berry Street after 9 p.m. CT. The Oxford House First Nation resident had been visiting family in Winnipeg. In April, police declared her death a homicide and charged a suspect, but said they had not yet located Wood's remains. Winnipeg police say there was enough forensic evidence at the home of Brett Overby, 30, to charge him with second-degree murder."
Last month two Indigenous women were murdered in Whitehouse including a missing woman's advocate. These tragedies keep occurring. In Vancouver a First Nations woman named Janice Bryant was shot dead less than two weeks ago by the Hells Angels to punish her husband who worked for a Hells Angels puppet club called Redd Alert. When will the violence stop? O Siem.
Court approves RCMP sexual harassment settlement
CBC is reporting that "an unprecedented settlement that will pay up to $220,000 to women who were sexually harassed while working for the RCMP over the past 40 years has been approved by a Federal Court judge, who called the agreement fair and reasonable."
"Each victim is eligible for a minimum of $10,000, with $220,000 going to those most egregiously harmed. While as many as 20,000 women are believed eligible for compensation, the lawyers involved estimate more than 1,000 claimants will receive about $89 million. The government has set aside $100 million for the payouts, even though there is no total cap."
"The proposed settlement has a number of features and benefits that extend beyond a strictly monetary compensation scheme and, as a result, the settlement agreement goes well beyond what the plaintiffs may have been awarded after a trial," McDonald said.
First of all I have to ask why is it that the CBC are the only ones reporting on all these cases? Oh right, that's because Harold Monroe doesn't let these kind of stories be printed in the new corporate merged media in Western Canada. That's why local readers are forced to turn to other sources to find real news.
This settlement represents a change in Federal government. Justin Trudeau gave them direction to settle and that they did. Stephen Harper's response was rage and denial. He directed the old boys club to accuse all the petitioners of being drunks who wanted it. The sheer volume of cases made that false claim ridiculous. Although I object to Justin Trudeau throwing away millions of dollars to Communist China for climate control when they own much of America's debt, this case is money well spent. It includes counselling to help people heal.
How this ties in with the Missing Women's Inquiry
The next question we have to ask is how does this tie in with the Missing Women's Inquiry. Wait 'till I tell ye. It sheds light on the climate of unprofessionalism that plagued the force for so many years but it goes even farther than that. CBC reported that Human Rights Watch, a New York-based advocacy group, sent researchers to B.C. to investigate claims of RCMP abuse against indigenous women. They interviewed women and girls in First Nations communities along the "Highway of Tears." The group heard stories of alleged police pepper-spraying and using Tasers on young aboriginal girls, and of women being strip-searched by male officers. The report also contains troubling and graphic allegations of physical and sexual abuse, including from a woman, identified as homeless, who describes how an officer took her outside of town and raped her.
A New York advocacy group reported a witness claimed the police drove her outside of town and raped her. Before Wally Opel shut down the previous missing women's inquiry as soon as the Hells Angels were mentioned, former sex trade workers testified that members of the VPD would extort them into having sex. They were told if they didn't have sex with the police officers, the officers would arrest them for prostitution. Then comes Piggy's Palace.
The previous missing women's inquiry was suposed to hear testimony of how off duty police officers attended parties at Piggy's Palace, a drug fueled orgy with sex trade workers and bikers run by the Hells Angels right across from the Pickton Farm. Dianne Rock claimed she was gang raped by bikers and cops on the Pickton Farm. After a whistleblower who was hired to investigate Coquitlam RCMP officer Jim Brown went public with Jim Brown's online bondage profile, accusations were made of a picture floating around of Jim Brown and Dave Pickton in a threesome. As soon as that accusation hit the press, the Coquitlam RCMP kicked in the whistleblower's door then seized and deleted all his evidence. I kid you not.
I don't see there being any justice for the victims of Piggy's Palace in this life. The cover up goes far too deep. All I can say is that this settlement is a step forward in stopping the cycle of abuse. The fact that BC has a new person in charge of the RCMP is a huge step forward. All we need to do now is get rid of Bill Fordy finally and find out who is tying Dwayne McDonald hands in Surrey. Then we will finally be able to move forward. Peace.

Missing Woman Advocate Murdered
CBC is reporting that "A Whitehorse advocate for missing and murdered Indigenous women, whose own daughter was murdered in 2007, is now herself a homicide victim, friends and family tell CBC News. RCMP say 51-year-old Wendy Margaret Carlick, is one of two women found dead in a Whitehorse home April 19. The other is Sarah Macintosh, 53, a member of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. Police believe both women were killed." This is an outrageous tragedy.
A missing woman's advocate was murdered before she could testify at the new missing women inquiry. Is that not suspicious? What was she going to testify to? Let that be known.
Spotlight on the Whitehorse drug trade.

Quebec Judge accused of being heavy cocaine user
The Calgary Herald is reporting that "at a hearing to determine whether Superior Court Justice Michel Girouard should be removed from the bench, a woman with whom he used to socialize has described his as a heavy cociane user." Girouard is facing a Canadian Judicial Council committee which began in January.
Evidently in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta you are allowed to object to a judge's misconduct but in BC you are not. Their judges face disciplinary committees for their misconduct but in BC they do not. I will say this, upon examining the evidence, Michel Girouard's personality is identical to that of Peter Leask. Now I am not saying that Peter Leask is a heavy cocaine user. I am simply saying their personalities are identical.
Confronting the Corporate Coup in the BC Election
It's pretty obvious from the landmark accord struck between the Green Party and the NDP, the greedy corporations will do absolutely everything in their power to stop it including spamming the public with lies in their corporate controlled media. The Green Party's terms and conditions of an agreement was to abolish political contributions from unions and corporations. That is indeed unprecedented. The NDP agreed to it as long as it went both ways, they wont accept donations from unions as long as the Liberals won't accept donations from Corporations.
This landmark decision will change the face of politics in British Columbia. That is why the Liberals and their corporate donors described in the New York Times are so opposed to it.
Point of Order
On a point of order I will clarify the obvious and refute the lie that the Corporate media is perpetuating in anticipation of their Corporate coup. Christy Clark did not receive 44 of the 87 seats and is therefore unable to form government. She cannot form government then call a non confidence vote and trigger a new election. That is utterly ridiculous.
IF she had teamed up with the Green Party and formed government and that agreement broke down, THEN a non confidence vote could be held which would trigger a new election. She cannot do that when she did not receive 44 seats because she cannot form government. IF the other two parties were unable to come to an agreement then one could argue that would trigger an election but since they have the matter is resolved.
The fact that BC now has fixed election dates, that fuels the argument that non confidence votes are now obsolete. We dont need to keep having elections over and over again. Chuck Cadman supported the democratic will of the voters in his riding by refraining from bringing down the government and calling another unnecessary election. The people spoke at the ballots. No one trusts anyone with a majority government for a reason. We have to make minority governments work because that is the proper representation at this time.
Challenging the Chair
Canada's Parliament is governed by Bourinot's rules of order. The United States uses Roberts rules of order. If the lieutenant-governor has the audacity of violating the rules of order and lets Christy Clark fraudulently form government when she is unable to do so and then let's her trigger a new election then the house must challenge the chair because that decision would be illegal.

NDP and the Green Party reach agreement in BC
CBC is reporting that "The B.C. Green Party has agreed to support the NDP in the legislature, setting up the possibility of 16 years of Liberal rule coming to a dramatic end."
As I reported on May 10th, the initial results of the BC election saw Christy Clark and her Liberals elected in 43 of B.C.'s 87 ridings compared to 41 for the NDP and three for the Green Party. It takes 44 seats to form a majority in B.C. and Christy doesn't have it so either the Liberals or the NDP have to team up with the Green party to form a government.
Christy Clark cannot form a government when she only has 43 seats and the other two parties have joined together and hold 44 seats. Reporting these results was delayed because of recounts in a few close ridings and the delay in counting absentee ballots. To my understanding the original election results held and now a coalition has been revealed.
The Council of Canadians welcomes NDP-Green agreement in British Columbia. Why on earth would a grass roots democratic organization that supports civil liberty and opposes the waste of tax dollars weclome this agreement? Because the BC Liberals were so corrupt they made the New York Times.
If Christy Clark asks the lieutenant-governor to dissolve the legislature and hold another election and he says yes, then he should be arrested for treason. BC has fixed election dates for a reason. It is time the corruption mentioned in the New York Times comes to an end.

Father shot dead while holding three year old son
The Mirror is reporting that "The dad shot dead in a busy Sainsbury's car park while holding his son in his arms this afternoon has been named locally as James Colin Horner." This absurd tragedy happened in Bangor, Co Down, Northern Ireland. I haven't kept up with news back in Ireland lately but from my understanding the troubles so to speak had greatly simmered down. Bangor was a wonderful mixed area and was never known for sectarian violence.
Turns out the shooting is a second in an internal conflict with the Protestant Paramilitary group known as the UDA for Ulster Defence Association. The UDA used to be fairly mainstream. The UVF (Ulster Volunteer force) and the UFF (Ulster Freedom Fighters) splinter groups where more prone to extremism back in the day.
The Mirror explains that "Police believe Mr Horner, known as Colin, was targeted as part of the loyalist paramilitary feud involving the UDA in East Antrim. It is understood the victim had moved from Carrickfergus to Bangor in the last 12 months and had been a vocal supporter of Geordie Gilmore Snr who was murdered last March. The young dad, who had been living in Rathgill, was shot six times in the lower body." Antim was another peaceful mixed town.
Ah ha! It's drug related. Today's victim was executed for supporting Former UDA commander Geordie Gilmore who was shot dead for opposing the drug dealers in the UDA splinter group SEA UDA who had been kicked out of the original UDA. The Belfast telegraph is reporting that Gilmore "Vehemently opposed to the UDA's drugs rackets, he drew support from disaffected veterans disgusted at the organisation's involvement in the vile, but lucrative, illegal trade. He dared to stand up to the leadership of the breakaway South East Antrim brigade."
A few years ago I had a member of the INLA in Belfast (a socialist branch of the IRA) contact me asking my opinion about the Hells Angels who were at that time kissing IRA ass trying to open up a chapter in Belfast. I told him straight up they will be selling crack and prostituting the fair daughters of Ireland faster than you can say stabbed in the back.
He said the IRA shoot drug dealers dead in Belfast. I smiled and said as tempting as that may be, we're not quite there yet here in Canada. He said the Hells Angels set up shot in the Protestant side of Belfast which would make more sense since the break off protestant paramilitaries deal drugs. However, I understand the IRA is having the same problem in the South with break away groups dealing drugs in Dublin. Now it's all about the drug money just like everywhere else.
Two good men murdered by shameless drug dealers. Honour them.
Since a new enemy has entered the battlefield, perhaps we shall see an new alliance rise between the UDA and the IRA against the snake in the grass drug dealers. Ulster Says No to Illicit Drugs. Gentlemen may cry peace peace but there is no peace. The war has already begun.
Since the Hells Angels are now in East Belfast, three guesses as to who they are tied to in this drug related conflict. Can't say I didn't warn ye. Follow the money. Don't support the 666.
