Second man sentenced in Independent soldier kidnapping

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Troy Dax McKinnon, 31, received a seven-year jail term on Tuesday for his leadership role in the November 2011 abduction of Eric Low. In January the Vancouver Province stated the Gang Task force had one of the suspects, Jesse Margison, under surveillance who they claim was a member of the Independent Soldiers. Jesse was deemed unfit to stand trial after he was severely beaten in prison awaiting trial. In February 2012 the Tri-Cities Now reported that all six men have ties to the Independent Soldiers gang.

In 2001 the Vancouver Sun reported that Jesse Margison and Troy McKinnon were invovled in a brutal assault on their former associate Robert McMillan. Both accused beat McMillan's knees with a framing hammer, then McKinnon took an X-Acto knife and cut off McMillan's left ear and yelled into the severed ear: "Do you hear me now ...? Are you going to talk now?"

Thomas Crawford, another member of the Independent Solders, was involved in a separate kidnapping October 2011. In that case they kidnapped Sulaiman Safi because he agreed to ship $400,000 to the US but it didn’t arrive at it’s destination. We know that the Independent solders sell drugs for the Hells Angles. In the Crawford case, Sulaiman Safi shared a car lease with full-patch Hells Angel Glen Hehn. Makes ya kinda wonder who the drug debt was really for.

Snowden speaks out against Harpers attack on civil liberty

This one a blog reader sent in. BC Local News is reporting that while Thomas Mulcair was debating Stephen Harpers' terrorist attack on civil liberty, oath keeper Edward Snowden spoke out against the bill in a video conference hosted by Toronto's Upper Canada College high school, on Monday night. The Surrey Leader quoted Snowden as saying "I would say we should always be extraordinarily cautious when we see governments trying to set up a new secret police within their own countries." Indeed we should. CSIS still needs to be charged with murder for providing the explosives in the Air India attack.

Stephen Harper has declared war on civil liberty. You can't defend freedom by doing away with it. Thomas Paine wrote a paper called the age of reason. Well now we face the age of treason where elected officials use tax dollars to buy commercials and bombard the public with propaganda as they try to convince us doing away with civil liberty and the principles the founding fathers fought for is somehow in our best interest. I disagree. Their arguments are treason.

Stephen Harper is not a conservative. He is a new con. There's a big difference between the two. It is no secret that Stephen Harper is an enemy of the Charter of Rights. Some claim that because it does not contain property rights is is a flawed document. Yet all the other basic principles in the US Bill of Rights are found within it. The right to legal representation, the right to a fair and speedy trial. The freedom from unnecessary searches and seizures which includes warrantless wiretaps.

All of those principles are found within the Canadian Charter of Rights. When Stephen Harper opposes those principles in the Charter of Rights he is really opposing them in the Bill of Rights. That makes him a traitor and it makes his bill treason. The Charter of Rights and the Bill of Rights is what legally defines a free republic. By doing away with them, he is trying to do away with the free republic. Stephen Harper is legally bound by the Charter of Rights. This bill is illegal. Just like the last one was. Once again Justin Trudeau has broken his father's Charter of Rights. When he says the NDP don't support the charter of Rights but he does, he is a bold faced liar. Shame.

Update: The Canadian Lawyer Magazine reported that "The Nova Scotia Supreme Court ruled today the province's law society doesn't have the authority to deny accreditation to graduates of Trinity Western University’s law school." The lawyers had a vote and voted in favor of violating the Charter of Rights by refusing to accredit law graduates from Trinity Western university because it was a private religious school. Despite the fact that there are many Catholic universities in the United States that are accredited.

The lawyers knew their decision was illegal but they tried it anyways. Even though that BC College of Teachers tried the same thing and were overturned by the courts. It's the same thing with Harper's illegal bills that remove civil liberty. They aren't just morally wrong, they are also illegal.

David Giles' trial has finally begun

David Giles' trial has finally begun as well. He was in court room 55. No jury was present so I'll have to check the publication ban to see what I'm allowed to say. I don't think he's being tried by jury though. The whole thing reminded me of an old Van Halen song. After I consult the publication ban I'll explain why. My point is it would be nice to have people keep an eye on that trial as well otherwise we won't know what was said after the publication ban is lifted. I'm back at work tomorrow and can't make it any more. Cheers.

Ok I still have to examine the publication bans but it appears the actual trial hasn't started yet so this would be a pre trial making any evidence discussed not publishable. That means I can't tell you why the case reminds me of an old Van Halen song but when the publication ban is lifted I most certainly will. I will however record my dissent with regards to the courts elusiveness about letting you know what publication bans exist and what their parameters are. The desk was really irritated with me for asking and just referred me to the web site. I just saw the back of Giles' ugly head today sporting they reddish orange jump suit but I do recall seeing him look like a hobo clown in his last video appearance. Can we tell the public why the brain surgeon hasn't made bail yet? I guess we'll have to wait for that too. Let's home this clown gets convicted once and for all.

The Lindsay Buziak walk was yesterday as well.

Surrey Pressure cooker fraud trial has begun

Note: It appears that the discrepancy in the dates on the CSO data base can be simply explained. It appears those are the estimated dates the alleged offenses took place not the arrest dates. My bad. Nevertheless, this case is dripping with contradictions and entrapment. There is no means or motive for the crime.

The Surrey Pressure cooker fraud trial has begun. That's the one that involved the exploitation and entrapment of John Nuttall and Amanda Korody. Yes I was there. Went for lunch with John's mother and Grandmother. I have a lot to say about this case. The jury was present so what was said in court today is publishable.

C-4?! Where the f*ck do you think they're going to get C-4 from? The police agent said don't worry about the explosives, leave that up to me. Yeah right. Just like they did for Air India. This case is very upsetting. It's upsetting because the thought of murdering innocent people is horrific. Yet so is setting someone up for that false attack to justify losing a billion dollars from your budget every year. I have a lot more to say on this case but need time to calm down first.

OK here goes. The Nuttall trial is being held in courtroom 20 off the Nelson street entrance of the Vancouver court house. However, I don’t think the jury will reconvene until next week. I was sitting in the courtroom and I saw someone enter. I think to myself, who’s that? Is that the accused? Then he steps into the dock for the accused and some in the crowd gasped. Is that him they asked? He looks good. Clean cut, healthy. Doesn’t look like a terrorist does he.

Amanda entered with her head covered and the same person gasped as though she was wearing a pentagram. I found the sensationalism irritating. This was coming from the court artist that made that ridiculous painting of them before trying to disfigure their appearance to make them look like crazed terrorists. Her rendition of John today reflected short hair but it was not accurate. He looked good. He looked innocent.

One of the first questions John’s friends asked was how were they supposed to go to Victoria to plant bombs then get arrested in Abbotsford when they didn’t own a car or have a pot to piss in. They couldn’t even afford the ticket for the ferry ride. Well the answer is simple. The police agent drove them and told them exactly what to do.

Why did they do what the police agent told them to do? Because they were afraid for their lives. John’s mother repeatedly said that they were afraid a terrorist organization was going to kill them. John’s 90 year old grandmother confirmed this claim separately on several occasions. His grandmother told me she lived with them in that basement suit. Some of the furniture was hers. That heirloom candy bowl was hers. She said she moved out because they were all afraid for their lives thinking some terrorist organization was going to kill them. They would keep the drapes drawn and hide. This case is a cross between and Mr. Big sting and outright entrapment.

I will admit the opening from the crown seemed shocking. It was completely out of character described by every conceivable witness who knew the couple. The crowns opening statement was full of contradictions. Amanda was very sick when they were arrested. She was throwing up every day. When they were arrested the police just said give her a bag or bucket to throw up in. the crown claimed that this was not a suicide bombing. They were supposed to live and get away. Yet the crown claims John said his wife was sick and wanted to die a martyr. That claim made no sense whatsoever. When John converted to Islam he told his mother he could never kill anyone. The crown’s own evidence admits that John said the idea of killing people repulsed him yet they claim to have wire tap evidence of him making outrageous statements like wanting to fill the pressure cooker with nails to harms as many people as possible.

The root of these contradictions is clear. In a Mr. Big sting the police pretend to be some big criminal organization and ask the suspect to confess to a previous criminal act. Recently the courts have ruled these are inadmissible or at least examined with greater scrutiny. I personally always questioned the practice because there’s nothing preventing a suspect from making up some crazy story just to impress what they think is a criminal leader. In this case they were afraid some terrorists were going to kill them if they didn’t do what they were told so they started saying crazy things to impress Mr. Big so he wouldn’t kill them.

The personal wiretap between Amanda and John Global showed today confirmed this. In that wiretap John said to Amanda, don’t screw this up baby. This guy will go from Mr. Nice guy to Mr. Monster in a hurry. We are expendable. They were afraid the police agents were going to kill them if they didn’t do exactly as they were told. This goes way beyond entrapment.

In opening statements the crown claimed that the RCMP agents took them shopping to buy pressure cookers and nails. They were put in the police agent’s car and taken to another police agent who put fake C-4 in it. He put putty in it and some real C-4. So the crown claims. The police agent took it to Victoria over the ferry June 30th.

At no time were they in possession of the fake explosives. The pressure cookers they had they put food in because they had no idea how to make bombs out of them. The police agent told him where to download instructions on how to make pressure cooker bombs. That is why he had the plans but he was not capable of following those plans. One investigator who said they should give up on the investigation because he said these two weren’t capable of organizing a bag lunch let alone a terrorist activity. John had been on the methadone program for years.

The police agents took them to Squamish and tried to pressure them and said you really need to come up with a plan now. All he did was play video games. The same thing happened in Kelowna. The crown claims he made a video accepting responsibility for the bombing. Yet it was made under duress because they were afraid for their lives. In the video clip on Global the lawyer for the prosecution said the public doesn’t need to be concerned about this case. Yes they do. It’s being used to throw away civil liberty for all of us. It’s being used to rationalize losing a billion tax dollars every year from their budget. Losing that much money every year is organized crime. I’ll admit the lawyer for the prosecution is good at what he does. However, to me he just seems inherently dishonest.

US Hedge funds squeeze Pacific Press

We are starting to see the adverse effects of media mergers and foreign ownership. The Surrey Now is confirming reports in the local media that the Pacific Press printer in Surrey closed down today and it's services will be contracted out. Decreased advertizing revenue and foreign ownership are listed as reasons for the closure.

The problem appears to be the fact that Pacific Press is owned by a US Hedge fund. If that is not a recipe for disaster, I don't know what is. Back in 2013 the Tyee reported that US Hedge Funds were squeezing the profit out of Post Media. Hedge funds are a huge scam dripping in fraud that circumvent regulators. They don't promote business they suck the life out of it.

Advisor.ca is reporting that Francisco Illarramend, a Venezuelan-American hedge fund manager was sentenced Thursday to 13 years in prison for fraud. Illarramend told the judge he should not be considered a typical Ponzi scheme artist and that he was no Bernie Madoff. Yet he was. The only difference is that he stole $11 million instead of $65 billion. The pattern of hedge fund fraud keeps repeating itself over and over again. It currently is the most effective form of organized crime on the planet. These guys make the Hells Angels look like boy scouts.

Wikipedia makes reference to the Bayou Hedge Fund Fraud and Samuel Israel. Guy Lawson wrote a book about Samuel Israel's involvement in the Bayou Hedge Fund fraud called Octopus. Catchy title. Makes reference to what reporter Danny Casolaro was murdered for trying to expose. I wrote about that case in 2012 discussing Robert B. Nichols's involvement in that fraud and how he was tied to George W. Bush's cousin John P. Ellis. Robert B. Nichols worked for the CIA. In Canada these are the people Harper wants to give more power to commit more fraud. Buyer Beware.

Natural gas from cow manure

On a more positive note, the local news is reporting that dairy farms in BC are taking their cow manure and combining it with organic waste to create natural gas. I kid you not. It's a bit more expensive to produce but is a completely clean and sustainable means of disposing of cow manure which otherwise creates a problem with air pollution and water contamination. It's also better than fracking for natural gas with contaminated water.

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Chris Bush is man behind Catalyst Power and B.C.’s first anaerobic digester, which takes cow manure and turns it into biomethane, a product similar to natural gas that is fed directly into a Fortis pipeline in Abbotsford. Well done.

Inversion from sea to sky

Most blog readers recall this is the time of year I usually throw in lots of pictures snowshoeing in the mountains to break things up a bit and take our minds off the toxic negativity of the materialistic gang war associated with the sale of crack cocaine and other harmful drugs. Selling fentanyl is without question pedaling poison.

Everyone needs a passion. Hiking and snowshoeing in the mountains is mine. It is where I gather my thoughts and put things in perspective as I enjoy some of the wonderful things this world has to offer that you simply cannot find in a crack pipe or a material possession.

Sadly, this season on the local mountains has been pretty much a waste of time. A foot of snow at the base and two feet at the summit. Normally we have at least a ten foot base that lasts well into spring. It's hard to be convinced it's a sign of global warming since the interior and the east coast are getting nailed with snow. Looks just like another El Nino. I should have taken a trip out to Big White or Lake Louise. Big White has an awesome ice climbing wall and the ice carving at Lake Louise is magnificent. I went there last year.

Yesterday I broke out the crampons and made it up to third peak on Seymour. Half way up Mystery Peak the trail was bare. We're talking dirt. It's like April on the local mountains right now. There was some inversion happening again when the fog or low clouds hug the surface and you can see above them in the mountains like you're flying over them in a plane. In the distance you can see the clouds over the ocean between Vancouver and Vancouver Island with the mountains of Vancouver Island on the horizon. I could see the fog moving in from Lions Gate bridge so I drove over to the look out on Cypress to get a picture of the sunset.

It was nice seeing the inversion from high up top Seymour third peak then seeing it from just above at the look out on Cypress. Then I went to Whitecliff to see what it looked like from there. It's hard to tell in the picture but you're pretty much face to face with the inversion. All you could see was a layer of clouds on the horizon.

From the city it just looked like fog but if you get out of the city the perspective changes dramatically. I'm sure there's a metaphor in there somewhere. Sometimes we have to get out of the city to see the good and to see what's really important in life. Cheers.

Silk Road Trial under way

Ars Technica is reporting that the silk road trial has begun. Silk road was that under ground web site that sold drugs in bitcoms. The webmaster was being blackmailed and allegedly hired the Whiterock Hells Angels to commit multiple murders. The Hells Angels claimed that although they did collect money for the murders no murders were actually committed. Other than Craig Widdifield's murder in Morgan Crossing of course. Turns out the guy that was blackmailing the webmaster now claims he was acting as a police agent.

The new article states RealLucyDrop said Friendly Chemist had a debt with the Hells Angels and that is why he was blackmailing the webmaster of silk road - DPR. Later, a user named "redandwhite" got in touch with DPR, explaining that his group was the one owed money. "We hold him [FriendlyChemist] and him only responsible for the missing product/money." Redandwhite discussed doing business on the silk road website and said "We have a majority hold over most of the movement of products in Western Canada (one of the main drug ports to North America).

So if Friendly Chemist was a police agent it's quite possible Redandwhite was too. That will no doubt come out later in the trial. If the police in Canada were working with the Hells Angels to blackmail the Silk road webmaster that puts them in a conflict of interest in the Randy and Trevor Jones indictment where US authorities are tying to bust the Whiterock Hells Angels for a huge cross border drug trafficking ring allegedly operated out of TBarz now known as Shakerz. It will be very interesting to see how this story plays out. Either way it once again puts into question the integrity of the "intelligence" community.

The murder of Kevin David Sanders

This is a cold case in more ways than one. Kevin David Sanders went missing from Edmonton, Alberta in November 1999. He was found dead in the North Sask River wrapped in a tarp April 2000. His fingers had been cut off presumably to make it difficult to identify the body. He was last seen at the Clairview Pub, which later became the Chrome Lounge and was been temporary shut down after two shootings. The Toronto Sun reported that in 2007, two men were stabbed during a fight at the bar.

I find it very strange that this case is nowhere to be found on the Internet. There have been many cases of young men last seen at a pub in Kelowna or elsewhere in BC then all of a sudden end up dead and sometimes dismembered. It remains to be a huge concern. If anyone has any information on this case please contact me directly. Surely the people that are afraid to talk said something to someone before they left town and explained why they were afraid for their life. This was a good man. He's not the only one. We can't let it slide by unnoticed.

Russian bombers fly over English Channel

MSN News is reporting that two Russian bombers flew over the English Channel, forcing civilian aircraft to be diverted. British Typhoon fighter jets were scrambled on Wednesday when two Russian TU-95 'Bear' long-range bombers flew close to UK airspace. ISIS does not concern me but this does. It represents a war game yet war is not a game.

Russia does the same thing to Canada over the arctic to see what we will do. That is not a game, it is an act of war. This is why Canada needs an Iron Dome like Israel has to fire missiles at bombers entering our air space. This is why Canada needs jets that work in the arctic like the Boeing super hornet not Harpers insider trading jets that don't work in the arctic. The balance of power preserves peace. Fiscal responsibility preserves civil liberty.

John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address - Video clip

"The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God."

"We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans—born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage—and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this Nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world."

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge—and more..."
