Traveling the world from Montreal to Morocco

There are still lots of stories to catch up on but I just wanted to pause for another reality check. This time of year I usually post lots of pictures snowshoeing in the mountains but locally the season has been a waste of time. Next year will be better. However, it draws my mind to searching out other places and other peaks. I'm watching a really interesting TV series on Netflicks about two Canadians who take a year off to travel the world called Departures. It's even better than Rick Steve's Europe. This is an intro on youtube.

They start off renting an RV and driving across Canada as a right of passage so to speak. Then they go to Jordon and it is amazing. Hiking up waterfalls, camping in the desert, climbing Petra. That is one place I really would like to see. I did a lot of traveling when I was young and now that my kids are all grown up I think the time is right for me to embark on another journey.

I know everyone likes the dirty laundry and want to hear K trashing bikers who sell crack. Yeah there's dumb, yeah they need a life but there's only so many ways to say that. Sometimes you just have to walk away and show them a better life. Personally I'd like to return to Montreal. I went there out of High School and it was awesome. I'd like to visit Quebec city. The old city walls look like Jerusalem. I'd like to rent a bike and ride from Montreal to Quebec City then through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to Halifax. That is how I'd like to begin my journey.

Jordon is definitely one place I'd like to explore. I'd also like to explore Morocco and visit an oasis in the Sahara dessert. Now that's what I'm talking about. In Jordon and Morocco they're both Muslim but they're not crazy ass jihadists, they're just down to earth good people. I remember seeing an episode of Rick Steve's Europe and how historically the Muslims from north Africa were very clean, educated and tolerant. It's important to travel and get educated so we aren't blinded by stereotypes. The TV series Departures on Netflicks is well worth watching. Peace.

$975,000 linked to Hells Angels seized in Cali

A news outlet from Riverside California called The Press Enterprise is reporting that "Almost $1 million in cash believed to be linked to the Hells Angels outlaw motorcycle gang in British Columbia was seized Thursday, Feb. 12, from a Canadian man at a Riverside restaurant. Investigators believe the money is linked to cross-border drug smuggling and money laundering. The man, whose name was withheld because of the continuing investigation, is from Alberta, Edmonton." The suitcase full of cash was seized by Homeland Security. Heads are gonna roll.

Steve Fonyo stabbed and beaten in his Surrey home

The Edmonton Journal is reporting that "Fallen Canadian hero Steve Fonyo is in an induced coma after being stabbed in the back and beaten by attackers at his Whalley home early Friday morning." They appear to be quoting a Vancouver Province article. CTV was live on scene and reported that three suspects forced their way into his home and stabbed him in the back in what the police described as a targeted attack. Get this, he lived right across the street from Larry Mizen the Whalley drug debt enforce who was beaten to death in his own home not long ago.

Surrey Drug addict used to remove Civil Liberty

There are numerous stories to catch up on and I have a lot to say about the entrapment of John Nuttall and the release of the video where he is clearly stoned making crazy statements that he has absolutely no conceivable ability to follow through with. Time does not permit me to expand upon it but I will soon.

All I'm going to say today is that the guy looked totally stoned in the video talking nonsense. A Surrey drug addict who was stoned talking nonsense to impress an RCMP Agent he and his grandmother had been hiding from thinking he was some Mr Big crazed terrorist that would kill them if he didn't do exactly as he was told.

On several occasions the RCMP Agents put mayor pressure on the drug addict telling him that they had spent a lot of money on him and how they had to come up with a plan. Repeatedly they were pressured into coming up with a plan when all they did was get stoned and play video games. So finally they catch him on video talking absolute nonsense and somehow they think that they have saved the world from a terrorist. Before the RCMP Agents "befriended" and pressured them they had absolutely no desire whatsoever to get involved in any terrorist act. The RCMP pressured them into doing something they admit they didn't want to do at first. The RCMP agents were the ones that gave them the explosives and drove them to Victoria and told them where to plant the bombs. These two couldn't plan a bag lunch and didn't have money for the ferry ride.

Before I expand on the legal definition of entrapment, we need to remember that a huge amount of tax dollars are being spent and misplaced trying to convince drug addicts to perform terrorist attacks in Canada and that is being used to rationalize giving this secret police force more money and more power to destroy civil liberty.

Internationally all this obsession trying to create crazed terrorists out of drug addicts is being used as a distraction from Operation Fast and Furious where the CIA infiltrated the ATF to continue their cocaine trafficking and supplying arms to the Mexican cartel. In the John Nuttall case wait until they tell you the part where the RCMP agents had him selling heroin. That is something the Taliban would not do. In this case CSIS has infiltrated the RCMP.

In today's paper the headline reads "Jury sees video of accused in B.C. legislature terror plot driving around buying bomb parts. No it doesn't. He's being driven around because he doesn't own a car a probably doesn't even have a drivers licence since he's a drug addict. He's not buying bomb parts they are taking him shopping for pressure cookers. He has no idea how to make a bomb out of one. The RCMP agent told him where to download the plans from and he said they were interesting but he was not able to make a bomb out of them. In court it said that plan required black power. Finally something that makes sense. Like the guy in the Okanagan that was emptying shotgun shells to get the gun power to make pipe bombs.

So the pressure cooker needed gunpowder which he did not have to be turning into bombs. The RCMP agent took him shopping for pressure cookers then said he could get the gunpowder and even some C-4. Don't you think this drug addict sh*t his pants when the agent said Mr Big could get C-4? He was scarfed to death of Mr. Big and was just talking nonsense to keep him happy. Without the police agent there was no means and no motive for this crime.

The Crown's own evidence states "They discuss two plans — an attack on the legislature using pressure-cooker bombs and an attack on a military base. The undercover officer tells them that he has consulted with a 'brother' (Mr. Big) and the brother suggests the first plan is best." They told him to come up with a plan. As they were discussing two options the RCMP told them to plant bombs in Parliament not at a military target.

Calgary drug bust seizes 40 kilos of cocaine

The Edmonton sun is reporting that "Twelve people were arrested following a year-long investigation, resulting in the seizure of 40 kilograms of cocaine, 11,597 fentanyl pills, 1.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, 545 grams of heroin, 182 grams of MDMA, 450 grams of marihuana and 60 kilograms of Phenacetin." It was an ALERT bust of course. If ALERT was in BC Christy Clark and the BC Liberals would disband them for doing their job. The Calgary Sun has a video clip of the haul.

The bust was in Calgary. Previously we know that the main drug gangs in Calgary were the FOB and the FK. The FOB were supplied by the Hells Angels through the Independent Soldiers while the FK were supplied by the UN. It will be interesting to find out who were supplying these guys. Although most of the arrests were in Calgary Also arrested were Dennis Galen Ross, 27, and Todd Randall Chapman, 31, from Smithers, B.C. and James Joseph Bailey, 43, from Surrey, B.C. Fentanyl is what the Hells Angels were caught trafficking in Saskatchewan that has caused many fatalities. Last year 45 kilos of cocaine bound for Calgary was seized in Nevada.

VANDU caught running illegal crack shack

Front page of today's Vancouver Province was the epitome of stupidity and I'm going to have to weigh in. The front page said "We need a safe place to smoke crack." The article inside stated: "Vancouver drug users want their illegal crack-smoking room back. For three years, the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users’ (VANDU) operated an unsanctioned, peer-run “safer smoking room” for crack users in a small ventilated washroom in its Downtown Eastside facility."

We've talked about VANDU before. The Vancouver Area Drug Users Network who are feeding the forest fire of drug related violence in the DTES with gasoline. I refer to them as Xanadu for their outer space ideals. This case shows that the road to hell is indeed paved with good intentions. It clearly revels the pattern of absurdity when it comes to catering to these extremists. Give and in take a mile is what we always see them do.

For three years VANDU ran an ilegal crack shack. Instead of sending them directly to jail they complain and say they want their crack shack back because it helps reduce violence. That is an absurd lie. Having a safe place to smoke crack would not have saved Janice Shore from getting tribally beaten to death for a drug debt. Having a safe place to smoke crack would not have saved Ashley Machiskinic from getting pushed oput the window for a drug debt. Feeding addiction is not harm reduction it destroys health and creates massive amounts of violence on the street. VANDU need to be charged criminally for operating this illegal crack shack and they need to have their tax dollar funding revoked immediately. Anything short of that is pure insanity.

Billionaire gangster executed in China

Before we cheer China's use of the death penalty on gangsters perhaps we should read between the lines and see how this law is being misused. The Telegraph reported that China executed a billionaire gangsters as it cracks down on corruption. The headline automatically creates suspicion. The government of China is cracking down on corruption? Really? What are they going to do disband themselves? Although China is a Communist system there is no social justice. The wealth and greed of China's National People's Congress is astounding and is even exponentially worse than the American congress who are devote capitalists.

So when we read of a billionaire in China who made his fortune in construction and mining my first response was what did they do, execute him to steal his fortune? Turns out critics of the government claim this is just another step in eliminating political opposition to the current regime. That makes a lot more sense. Liu claims he was framed. No doubt. The court also ordered the confiscation of the Liu brothers' personal assets. Big surprise. More than 150 Communist Party officials went to "oversee" the trial.

This case gives rise to three important questions. The first is, how did this guy acquire that much wealth in a Communist system where incentive has been removed and all the profits are supposed to be shared with the public? Obviously that's not happening. Big surprise. He must have been involved with the Communist Party to be allowed to acquire that much wealth and he must have fallen out of favor with them for them to kill him and steal his money for themselves.

The second question is How on earth do members of the Communist party in China acquire such outrageous wealth in a Communist system? They are far more greedy and materialistic then the Capitalists they condemn.

The third question is why did they let millions of people starve to death in North Korea when they had such massive individual wealth? Why did we? Wikipedia states the famine was accentuated by droughts but not caused by it. It was caused by Russia stopping their humanitarian aid when it collapsed. Which shows us two things. Russia did send humanitarian aide when it was in power and China did not. However, neither did we. Why did we not send them humanitarian aide? Because we disagreed with their politics? Since when is humanitarian aide discriminated upon due to religion or politics? We should have helped them. Right now we can help them by helping them build a few hydro electric dams to generate some electricity which they clearly need. Hydroelectric dams are much safer for the world than nuclear reactors.

Anti-terrorism bill will unleash CSIS on a lot more than terrorists

The Globe and Mail published a great article about Stephen Harpers bill that declares war on civil liberty. Open Media turned a Globe and Mail quote into an image that can be shared on facebook and on Twitter. Green leader Elizabeth May states that the passing of Harper's Police State Law means 'death of freedom'. God bless her. CSIS provided the explosives for the Air India bombing. Charge them with that murder before you give them more power to break any more laws.

Leadnow.ca has a petition about the bill. The Toronto Star is reporting that “So far, the only opposition MP with enough guts to critique the content of the Conservative government’s new anti-terror bill is Green Party Leader Elizabeth May.” The Green Party have their own petition.

North Korea in The Interview: Fact vs Fiction

CNBC is reporting that North Korea launched five test missiles into the ocean today in another defiant war game. Coincidentally I just watched The Interview on Netficks. My daughter recommended it and said it was quite funny. It starts off like a bizarre Will Ferrell comedy, then turns Austin Powers spy movie and ends with a warm fuzzy moral message. It's pretty good.

Although I am somewhat skeptical of the Sonny hack we need to realize that this movie is A) fiction and B) a comedy. In real life, the dictator of North Korea is nothing to joke about. Obviously he's going to be human and have some likeable qualities which was portrayed quite well in the beginning of the movie. Two guys are sent to North Korea to assassinate their leader and one guy starts to like him and pulls out of the operation.

I don't know about starving his people although no doubt the prison camps are pretty nasty. All torture is wrong. It is wrong when North Korea does it and it is wrong when the CIA does it.

I do know in real life they hold public executions and he executed his uncle's entire family. Not to mention threatens to nuke the United States. That threat is very real. The only thing holding him back from fulfilling that threat is the fact that he doesn’t have the technical ability. Stephen Harper arming that crazed dictator is an insane crime of this age of treason.

China claiming they are denouncing North Korea’s missile tests and threats is absurd and fails the test of believability completely. They are the ones that supply North Korea with it’s military technology. Communist China was behind the Korean War. Canada selling Communist China nuclear reactors gives them the technology and the materials to make and export nuclear weapons to North Korea, ISIS and any other terrorist organization on the planet. That’s all there is to it. Stephen Harper is on the wrong side.

So what's life in North Korea really like?

I cannot speak with any authority on what life in North Korea is really like because I've never been there. The best way to find out the truth is to go there and visit it yourself. With my political beliefs that would indeed be problematic. If people choose to live in a socialist system that's there choice. I don't have a problem with it. For me the key word is choice. North Korea calling itself the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is absurd. It is not a free republic and there is nothing democratic about it. They are no free elections. There is no free speech. There is no lawful assembly.

I do not believe anyone one in North Korea believes their fat little boy leader is a god. I think that was a fictitious myth the movie The Interview created as a joke. Seemingly there was a huge famine in North Korea in the late /90's where millions of people died. That was indeed tragic. I do not believe the leader of North Korea intentionally starves it's population. Prisoners and dissidents perhaps but not the general population. Yet some activists who have left North Korea claim there are still shortages of food. In all fairness we need to ask how much of that is because of their socialist system and how much of that is because of foreign sanctions. Likely it's a little of both. If someone chooses to live under a socialist system that is no reason to sabotage their system to try and make them suffer. If they invade another country or threaten to nuke yours then yes that is grounds for economic sanctions. Yet why would we put North Korea and Cuba under economic sanctions and not China? That baffles me.

The West putting Russia under economic sanctions over their claim to the Russian portion of the Ukraine is insane. Russia is no longer Communist but China is. Trying to destroy Russia's economic prosperity while we kiss China's ass gives the appearance that were are trying to destroy democracy in Russia and force them back to Communism.

One of the most dramatic and indisputable images of North Korea is the satellite picture at night. Compared to the rest of the world at night North Korea is pretty much in darkness which pretty much says it all. An editorial in the state run newspaper responded by saying "They clap their hands and get loud over a satellite picture of our city with not much light, but the essence of society is not on flashy lights." Very true. The essence of society is not flashy lights. The greed and materialism in our society are concerns that we face. The government of China has an even worse problem with that than we do.

Yet the satellite picture does show how technologically backward North Korea still is. They are literally still living in the dark ages. Which reinstills the claim that the only reason they haven't followed up on their threat to nuke the United States is because they don't have the technology or the materials to do so. Which once again raises the question why on earth would Stephen Harper help them gain the technology and the materials to make and use nuclear weapons by supplying China. Treason is the only adjective to describe it.
