The mainstream media referred to Mick Wallace as eccentric but listen to this video. He is confronting war profiteering. People who profit from war. RFK made a video about the same topic. There's nothing eccentric about what he is saying in that video. Everything he says in it makes sense.
He also talks about Western Liberalism and the militarization of the EU. He even claimed that some members of the Garda are involved in drug dealing. Garda is their local police.
Today I want to talk about three Irish politicians with similar views Clare Daly, Mick Wallace and Catherine Connolly. Since they are similar but unique I'll post about them individually. Let's start with Clare Daly. She became famous when her eloquent dissent of Butcher Biden went viral over the war in the Ukraine.
First of all, Clare and Mick are wearing free Julian Assange T-shirts. That's something we agree on. Tulsi Gabbard said she would pardon Julian Assange when she ran for the leadership of the Democrat party. Something that Trump discussed but failed to do. Edward Snowden's name also comes up who became a fugitive for reporting illegal activity.
Clare Daly refers to herself as "Independent. Socialist. Former Member of European Parliament." She is anti war, pro Palestine and anti American Imperialism. So let's talk about that.
Let's start with American Imperialism. The purpose of the American revolution was to break off from England and form a free Republic. The purpose of the American revolution was not to become a super power actively involved with colonialism.
Yet that is exactly what Trump 2.0 has become. The term provide for the common defense meant to support liberation not invade and conquer sovereign states. This opens the conversation about far left and far right.
Clare Daly calls herself a socialist. Yet she speaks out passionately about issues I agree with. It brings me back to James Connolly and my time with CUPW, the Canadian Postal Union. I was a letter carrier for Canada Post and became actively involved with the Union.
I ultimately lost my job at Canada Post for Union activity opposing the privatization of Canada Post. Historically Canadain Postal workers were represented by two different Unions. Internal workers were represented by CUPW while external workers or letter carriers were represented by LCUC.
There was a forced merger between the two unions and since CUPW had more members, they won the vote. Yet it wasn't a merger it was a hostile take over because the two different unions both had very different ideologies.
LCUC was a Business union like the Teamsters while CUPW was a socialist union with a whole list of political objectives. I started working for Canada Post after the forced merger and jokingly said my mother, CUPW, was a Communist while my father, LCUC, was a Capitalist.
I met many people in CUPW who called themselves Communists which completely shocked and baffled me. Their definition of Communism was very different than mine. I had one coworker say that he thought I was a Communist for the same reason I thought he wasn't - we both believed in democracy and free speech. That claim took me a long time to understand.
To make a long story short it brings us to James Connolly. When I was in West Belfast back in the /80's a friend gave me a pin. I read the name out loud - James Connolly. She smiled and with a twinkle in her eye said he was a Rebel. He was a Communist.
I cherished the gift and was determined to learn more about this Rebel. James Connolly was one of the signers of the Irish Proclamation and was executed for signing it after the Easter uprising. That landmark document was the Irish version of the Declaration of Independence declaring it's separation from British occupation and defined their ideal of a free Republic.
James Connolly signed that document which protected civil liberty by law. Yet he was a Communist which historically crushed civil liberty at every opportunity.
I'm going to stop there and state Clare Daly is that kind of Communist. Although I don't agree with all of her positions I do agree with many of them and since the mainstream media has become so tainted, I think it's important to hear other voices.

This life lesson has taught us that blind devotion to anything is blind. There is good and bad in every political party. That's why we have to recognize and denounce when our party says and does things that are wrong just like when the other party does. As Abraham Lincoln said, stand with any man as long as he stands right, but part with him when he goes wrong.
No two people agree on every issue. Likewise no two people disagree on every issue. We can always find common ground. Things that we can agree on. Many motivational speakers declare that it's not how many times you get knocked down in a fight but how many times you get up. If you give up, you lose.
I keep referring to politics like a pendulum that swings from left to right. Jean Chrétien was horrible with money but so was Stephen Harper. They just spent taxpayer's money on different things. Just like Trump. Trump was supposed to reduce the debt. He did not. He spent more than any leftist Liberal.
Yet Jean Chrétien was right for not participating in the unlawful invasion of Iraq based on a lie. Just like Mark Carney is right for not assisting in the provoked oil war with Iran. Pierre Poilievre would. That concerns me. He sells the liberation lie. MEK are a terrorist cult that helped Saddam Hussein gas Iranians with chemical weapons. Saving Iranians is a lie.
That makes Pierre Poilievre a Neo Con like Stephen Harper. Stephen Harper didn't do everything wrong. Getting rid of the long gun registry was a good thing. But he did do a lot of bad things. He raised taxes (GST) and wasted tax dollars on corrupt things (Insider trading Jets). He raised the age of retirement then spent that money in other areas. I rather spend money on seniors and health care than SNC Lavalin.
Rand Paul would balance the budget and stop the oil wars. That would save North America. If we don't stop this out of control reckless spending we will all become slaves. That's why we can't give up. We need to keep trying and keep speaking out.
Religious Balance
Finding balance in religion seems even more difficult but it's really common sense. The Freedom of religion means exactly that. Adapting a state religion is a violation of the US Constitution and the Canadian Charter of Rights.
Religious persecution is always tied to lies and defamation. People scour social media for examples of extremism to justify their extreme response to that extremism.
Christ confronted hypocrisy. He said the religious leaders at the time were liars, hypocrites and extortionists. He even went so far as to call them children of the Devil because their actions or their fruits were evil. Christ's chastizement could apply to any religion or person that says one thing and does another.
When I see the far right religious extremism in Israel or anywhere else for that matter, I see delusional animals twisting religion into something evil. That's what Christ confronted.
Videos of young Jews in West bank spitting on and bullying Gentiles. They look like animals. They don't look Godly. Sexually assaulting prisoners is a defiant violation of Judaism. Back in the day they would be stoned for doing that. Now a corrupt court lets them off which only empowers their evil acts.
So when we see all this religious extremism we see bad people taking good intentions and twisting them to rationalize evil. Christ said by their fruits ye shall know them. One of the duties of the Levites was to read out the cursings of disobedience to the commandments. Those cursings are frighteningly extreme.
That's why you can't take one scripture out of context like Netanyahu does. Netanyahu said God will bless those that help Israel and curse those that fight Israel. He is delusional. That's only in righteousness. If they keep the commandments which he clearly is not. The Bible says if Israel breaks it's covenant God will take the curses of their enemies and place those curses on Israel seven fold. (Leviticus 26:18, 21, 24 & 28) Again that is extreme.
Muslims and Christians get along just fine in Gaza and in Bethlehem. My hijab wearing Muslim neighbours named one of their younger sons Jesus. The Neo Cons want to divide us with lies and fill us with hate. It's important to see through the lies and not cave in to the hate.
Balancing religion really isn't difficult. It's common sense. As Robert M. Pirsig said, we don't need anyone to tell us what is good and evil. We can all see it for ourselves.

Danielle Smith is really determined to turn Alberta into a welfare state. We want Canadian taxpayers to build pipelines for us so we can make money. Private companies used to build pipelines with their money as an investment. Kinder Morgan ran the project until they bailed when they saw political opposition so Justin Trudeau bought it with tax dollars.
Yet we still keep getting shafted at the pumps in Metro Vancouver. In fact, people are saying the Iran war could mean billions for Alberta and trillions for Saudi. Why is that?
It's because when you cut supply the price of oil spikes and Saudi makes more money. So will Alberta at the expense of tax paying consumers. Danielle Smith is seizing the opportunity to make even more money from federal tax dollars.
When you read the headline you're left thinking maybe she means a third pipeline will help reduce the cost of gas at the pump for Metro Vancouver consumers but that's not what she's talking about. She's talking about selling more oil to China.
That will have zero effect on lowering the price of gas at the pumps for Vancouver. The problem with the price of gas at the pump in Vancouver is the fact that we send the unrefined oil from Alberta to Washington State who refine it and sell it back to us at a profit. That's the problem we face.
That is why we have the highest gas prices in all of Canada. So before we build a third, fourth or fifth pipeline in BC we need to build a refinery to ease the burden for tax paying consumers who are shareholders in the Trans Mountain pipeline.
The other day I filled up in Langley at 204.9. Today it was 207.9. That is Donald Trump's manufactured emergency that not only caters to his puppet master Neo Con Netanyahu, but to his bffs in Saudi that gave him the luxury jet and convinced Trump to flip on domestic production in exchange for $2 billion in Jared Kushner's hedge fund.
Which forces us to ask why is Danielle Smith really taking trips to Saudi on a private jet? Saudi see Alberta as a competitor. In his first term Donald Trump got America off their dependence on Saudi oil and Joe Biden got them back on it. Trump was going to fix that in his second term but all the Saudi bribes prevented him from doing it. Now tax paying consumers are suffering because of it. Is Danielle Smith taking trips to Saudi to sell out Albertans like Donald Trump did?
Or is she just selling out Canadian consumers by agreeing to Saudi's terms of reducing domestic production to keep the prices high while she sells all the surplus to China since Stephen Harper sold our oil rights to China years ago.
There are a lot of dirty deals going on here and we need to shed the light on them. Before we build a third pipeline to China we need to build a refinery in BC. That is what we need to do.
If you ship refined oil to China it will require less ships and you'll make more money. You'll send more oil on fewer ships and reduce transportation costs. That means more profit.

Civilians fled to the beach because Israel has been bombing their homes in Beirut so Netanyahu bombed the civilians on the beach. They have been terrorizing Lebanon since 2006 when they murdered a Canadian peacekeeper for witnessing it simply because Netanyahu wants to steal their land in his Greater Israel patch. Trump and Netanyahu are liars.
Cameron Ortis has made parole. That is a good thing but the fact that they delayed his trial and appeal through a series of dirty tricks shows how they can completely screw your life over whenever they want to. He served his sentence before his appeal was heard. He turned down bail during his appeal because the restrictions were too punitive.
I've followed this case from day one. The first news we heard about it was the CIA's claim he was accused of selling secrets to China. Instantly I said no way. That was not believable.
Then they changed their story. They took the China accusations and placed them on another patriot named William Majcher and made up some absolutely ridiculous story about him selling secrets to Vincent Ramos from Phantom Secure after Ramos started working for the FBI. It was a complete set up.
That's when I knew they were lying. I had been following the Ramos case since it tied in with Larry Amero. Bob Paulson was grooming Cameron Ortis to become the next civilian Commissioner of the RCMP when he retired.
We all saw how well the first civilian Commissioner of the RCMP went with William Elliot. They harassed him and dragged him through the mud. The RCMP refused to let another civilian take over again so they set him up and destroyed his life.
Bob Paulson put Cameron Ortis in charge of the OR short for Operations Research to coincide with the NIC which was short for the National Intelligence Coordination Centre. He wanted Cam to bring the RCMP up to snuff with the Five Eyes which was confirmed by the CBC as well as CSIS Sam when he was still with Global before all the defamation lawsuits against him.
Todd Shean testified that "I'm not going to lie, I was a fan of Cam. He was a person who was going to rise within our organization." The CBC reported that "Shean later played a role in moving Ortis to the position of director general of the RCMP's National Intelligence Co-ordination Centre in April 2016."
As soon as that happened the RCMP members in that unit trashed his office. They did not want a civilian in charge of the NIC as well as the OR. For the most part it was an uncontrolled arrogance about the superiority of Depot despite the years of sexual misconduct lawsuits. So after they trashed his office they set him up and destroyed his life. Remember two things.
Remember what his role was and remember what his defense was. Cameron Ortis claimed a foreign intelligence agency contacted him and told him there was a mole at the RCMP. That claim clearly falls within the realm of believability because the newly created unit he was placed in charge with was mandated to work with foreign intelligence agencies within the Five Eyes.
Also remember that the RCMP were trying to get rid of him because he was a civilian so they reached out to the foreign intelligence agency to set him up. All of which was hidden under the cloud of national security.
Cameron Ortis claimed that the foreign intelligence agency that told him there was a mole in the RCMP asked him to contact someone and offer to sell him secrets in order to lure him to use an encrypted email service called Tutanota they had complete access to. They asked him to do this to help them find the mole.
This was an under cover operation no different than if he had offered to supply a drug dealer with a shipment of cocaine from Colombia. During the trial the RCMP falsified evidence against him. They had seized his computer and claimed he used all these ridiculous passwords on various email accounts.
The problem was they lied. He had never used those ridiculous passwords. They falsified that evidence to make him look bad to profile him. On top of that, Vincent Ramos was the FBI's guy. Since we've discussed how war has changed over the years, let's also discuss how the UN has changed and what it really wants to become. It ties in with the International order Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand recently referred to.
When we discussed how war has changed we started with trench warfare in WWl and WWll. Soldiers shooting soldiers not civilians. Likewise when we discuss how the UN has changed we need to start off with peacekeeping.
Ezra Taft Benson was an American patriot who served as the US Secretary of Agriculture under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Ezra Taft Benson said the UN was a Communist organization and we should withdraw from it. When I first heard that, I thought it was a bit extreme.
Canada had at one point, participated in virtually every UN peacekeeping mission. Former Canada in Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson was considered the father of modern peacekeeping.
He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1957 for for proposing the first UN emergency force during the 1956 Suez Crisis. OK so peacekeeping is not a bad thing. Christ said blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.
However, we also know that the Devil is the father of all lies. No doubt the Antichrist will portray himself as a messenger of peace as he enslaves the world through Globalism which is simply Communism rebranded. This is what the UN means when it says peace. A one world Communist government.
When we look at Agenda 2030 and the UN's New World Order, we can clearly see that Ezra Taft Benson was right but how on earth did we get here? We started off with good intentions.
The UN was formed in 1945 right after the end of WWll to prevent future conflicts. It was a noble idea but sure hasn't been very effective. The peacekeeping missions were a great idea but what ever happened to them?
I'm not saying we should bring them back because the political objectives of the UN have completely changed or perhaps have finally been revealed. Good intentions have once again been hijacked by bad people. Just like NATO. NATO has been hijacked by war profiteers. Peace is no longer their objective.
Last year Netanyahu ordered the IDF to fire on Irish Peacekeepers patrolling in Lebanon. This was not the first time he had done that. In 2024 the UN reported "that two peacekeepers were injured after an IDF Merkava tank fired its weapon toward an observation tower at UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura, directly hitting it and causing them to fall.
I reported on it at the time. They've also fired on Canadian Peacekeepers. In 2006 the IDF murdered a Canadian Peacekeeper on the Lebanese border when they blew up his post. In 2008 the CBC reported that Maj. Paeta Hess-von Kruedener of Kingston, Ont. "sent e-mails home to Canada reporting that Israel was bombing schools and waging 'a campaign of terror against the Lebanese people' shortly before he was killed by an Israeli bomb in Lebanon, said his widow."
He reported war crimes so they murdered him. "The Qana massacre took place on April 18, 1996, near Qana, a village in then Israeli-occupied Southern Lebanon, when the Israeli military fired artillery shells at a United Nations compound, which was sheltering around 800 Lebanese civilians, killing 106 and injuring around 116. Four Fijian United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon soldiers were also seriously injured."
In Israel that was referred to as Operation Grapes of Wrath. So we see a pattern here that is repeating itself as we speak. Israel shoots or kills Peacekeepers in Lebanon because they don't want any witnesses to their genocide. Netanyahua ordered the murder of a Lebanese Red Cross paramedic in Lebanon.Our debt IS our national security crisis. No foreign army threatens America like our own reckless spending does.

Before we dive into the UN and the International order so to speak, let's take a look at what war is, was and how much it's changed. Last night I attended a concert band performance by the Westminster regiment military band along with the Maple Ridge concert band. It was nice to see a live concert band and when both groups performed together it was very impressive.
The conductor for the Maple Ridge band mentioned there's a bit of conflict in the world right now with our neighbours so he wanted to look to our European heritage to perform a military tribute. So they played abide with me and recited how Canadian troupes helped liberate Holland at the end of World Ward 2.
He reflected on a time when Canadian troupes were good. I'm not saying Canadian troupes now are not good. I'm just saying times have changed completely.
Remembrance day in Canada reflects quite a bit on the first and second world war as that was a coming of age for Canada as a country. It was also a more clear example of good versus evil as Hitler was invading other countries and committing atrocities against the Jews. I'm not saying the Germans were evil. I'm saying Hitler used false flag attacks to con the people just like the Neo Cons do now. The oil wars are far less noble.
The first point I'd like to make is usually when we think of war, we think of two opposing armies shooting each other. We don't normally think of soldiers shooting civilians. That's kind of a Vietnam stereotype that resulted in a lot of mistreatment of soldiers when they came back from that war.
I am not familiar with all the historical details and realities of the Vietnam war but one tragedy that comes to mind is the use of napalm on civilians. That was off the hook. Like using white phosphorus on civilians. It is inexcusable.
Again when we think of the first and second world war, we think of trench warfare and two opposing armies brutalizing each other. Chemical weapons were used in those wars. My grandfather had mustered gas burns on his back from trenches of WWl. Most of us now consider using chemical weapons is a war crime. Using chemical weapons on civilians is inexcusable.
Using atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was certainly a turning point in the war but I personally still struggle with the atrocity. Japan attacks a military post and the Americans respond by nuking two entire cities. How many schoolchildren were murdered in that horrific event? Lots.
In their defense, Germany would often do bombing raids in London so I guess murdering civilians has always been a part of war. It's just hard to get one's brain around that.
So many women and children murdered. It was so horrifically tragic yet it goes far beyond that. So many people were on the edge of the blast they didn't die immediately, they developed radiation sickness. Sadako Sasaki was 2 years old when the atomic bomb went off and developed leukemia at age 12.
Many children living on the edge of the bomb blast got sick and were hospitalized. They were told if they made a thousand paper cranes they would live. They told them that because if they lived long enough to make a thousand paper cranes the odds of them surviving were much higher. The paper cane has become a positive symbol of peace.
So that was then and this is now. Now, the US bombing Iranian civilians in a pledge to liberate them is disgusting. There is nothing noble or admirable in that. It's terrorism hidden with lies. Just like the Gaza genocide is. Using white phosphorus on Gaza and Lebanon is inexcusable.
The Independent is reporting that "Israel has unlawfully released white phosphorous on homes in Lebanon, according to evidence found by Human Rights Watch (HRW)."
White phosphorus is pure evil. The shells come from the US.
