CTV is reporting that "New Brunswick's Progressive Conservatives won a majority government on Monday. With almost all votes counted, the Tories were elected or leading in 27 ridings, the Liberals in 17, the Green party in three and the People's Alliance in two. At least 25 seats were needed for a majority in the 49-seat house." A sign of things to come.
The Epoch Times is reporting that "Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi, a number of Calgary city officials, several academics, and a now-former mayor of St. John’s are all on a list of targets that Chinese officials hope to influence to further the communist regime’s interests.
The list, disclosed in a leaked government document recently obtained by The Epoch Times, reveals names spanning a wide range of sectors and countries in which the Chinese regime seeks to “cultivate talent.”
The document was issued by the Foreign Affairs Office of the municipal government of Daqing, a city in northeastern China."
"In the leaked document, although the office doesn’t explain how it would carry out its plan, nor the plan’s specific goals, it listed 129 overseas individuals it wished to recruit."
"The list consists of 19 people in Canada, 13 of whom are based in Calgary. Besides Nenshi, the list includes a number of other senior city officials, along with Derek Zhao, who at one point was in charge of the China initiative at Calgary Economic Development, a not-for-profit corporation partly funded by the city and other government partners. Other targets are academics, a University of Calgary senior administrative official, and senior executives with a number of Calgary-based businesses.
The City of Calgary is a sister city of Daqing, also an energy hub."

Rebel Media is reporting that "On Saturday afternoon, the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights (CCFR) organized the Integrity March on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. CBC downplayed the crowd estimates by thousands, reporting only 800 people were on the Hill. You can for yourself in my video just how many people were really there." The right to bear arms is not about hunting.
There is an online petition to the Government of Canada using the existing Magnitsky Law to sanction 14 corrupt Chinese officials who have violated the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners in China. It states that: Petition to the Government of Canada

- The Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act (the Magnitsky Law) sanctions foreign officials responsible for gross human rights violations or acts of corruption;
- Falun Gong is a spiritual discipline that includes five peaceful slow-moving exercises. Its core teaching is centred on the principles of “Truth, Compassion and Tolerance”. People who practise Falun Gong conduct their life and behaviour in accordance with these principles;
- For over 21 years, China’s corrupt communist party officials have been orchestrating the torture and killing of large numbers of people who practice Falun Gong, especially for their vital organs for the profitable transplant industry in China on a massive scale;
- Canadian Citizen Ms. Sun Qian has been sentenced to eight years in prison and another eight Falun Gong practitioners with Canadian ties are suffering imprisonment in China with sentences of up to 16 years for their belief; and
- Extensive evidence points to fourteen key corrupt officials and former corrupt officials of the Chinese Communist Regime who demonstrate prime culpability in the human rights atrocities committed against Falun Gong practitioners in China.
We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to deploy all legal sanctions, including the freezing of assets and the barring of entry to Canada, against, but not limited to these perpetrating corrupt officials: Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai, Li Lanqing, Wu Guanzheng, Li Dongsheng, Qiang Wei, Huang Jiefu, Zheng Shusen, Wang lijun, Zhang Chaoying, and Jia Chunwang.
There was also a similar letter asking the Canadian government to invoke the Magnitsky Law against China for the human rights atrocities happening in Tibet, occupied East Turkestan (Xinjiang), and Hong Kong. That letter was signed by numerous organizations and Members of Parliament. Perhaps supporting those MPs in the next election will protect human rights and real social justice. Communism is a totalitarian state that abolishes human rights just like Fascism.
As Dinesh D'Souza said, there is no such thing as democratic socialism. If one person robs me, that's Communism. If six people agree and vote to rob me, they're still robbing me.
Thousands protested the mandatory mask laws in Montreal today. The Main Stream Media coverage of the event is worthless. Wearing a mask outside on a sunny day is stupid. Wearing a mask while you exercise is unhealthy. Wearing a mask while being intimate is completely insane. People from the same household don't have to socially distance. CTV is reporting that "Calgary police are investigating in Forest Lawn Saturday morning after a shooting left one man dead and another with minor injuries.
Officials say they were called to the community at about 2:50 a.m. for reports of a shooting involving two vehicles.
During the course of the investigation, police found one of the vehicles had crashed into an LRT barricade at 36 Street and 26 Avenue N.E. Calgary EMS found two men inside the vehicle and took them to hospital. One of the men died of his injuries while the other is in stable condition."
