Jury orders Mongols motorcycle club to forfeit logo
NBC is reporting that "A California jury decided Friday that the Mongols motorcycle gang should be stripped of its trademarked logo in a first-of-its-kind verdict, federal prosecutors said. The jury in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana previously found Mongol Nation, the entity that owns the image of a Mongol warrior on a chopper, guilty of racketeering and conspiracy. The verdict caps an unusual decade-long quest by prosecutors to dismantle the gang responsible for drug dealing and murder by seizing control of the trademark they said was core to the gang's identity."
I competently disagree with this verdict. It has nothing to do with fighting crime. It is about removing civil liberty and promoting the CIA's monopoly on drug trafficking. All Mongols don't sell drugs. That is ridiculous. The fact that they went after the Mongols and not the Hells Angels who have far more drug convictions than the Mongols represents unequal protection of the law.
The Aging Rebel is reporting that "Mongols attorney Joseph Yanny filed a motion to overturn the verdict that found a hypothetical affinity entity called Mongol Nation guilty of racketeering. Prosecutors have asked for time to respond to Yanny’s 35-page motion. Before implementing the forfeiture, Carter also intends to hear arguments on the constitutionality of the forfeiture. All that will be debated at the February hearing."
Constitutionality of the forfeiture? It is unconstitutional but that wouldn't be the first time the courts trampled on the Constitution. This is a dark day for civil liberty in the US. The flag has fallen.

Montreal real estate developer shot dead
CBC is reporting that "A man in his 50s is dead after he was found shot in the upper body in Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-GrĂ¢ce district this morning. Multiple sources have confirmed to Radio-Canada the dead man is Tony Magi, a businessman with known ties to the Montreal Mafia."
The Montreal Gazette is reporting that "Magi, the construction entrepreneur who once had close business ties to Montreal Mafia leader Vito Rizzuto, was kidnapped in April 2005 and survived at least three subsequent attempts on his life, died shortly after he was taken to a hospital after having been shot." Magi owed money. The Montreal Gazette claims his death was inevitable.
Two fatal shootings in Kamloops
CBC is reporting that "Two men were shot and killed at two separate hotels in Kamloops Wednesday morning, and Mounties have yet to make any arrests. The first victim was discovered at around 6:50 a.m. PT at the Super 8 motel in Valleyview, according to an RCMP news release. He was lying on the ground, wounded and was taken to hospital. Two hours later, police found a second injured man outside the Comfort Inn and Suites on Rogers Place, about a 10-kilometre drive from the first shooting scene. Shortly after noon, RCMP reported both men had died."
Global is reporting that Rex Gill of Penticton, B.C. was one of the fatalities in Kamloops. In the picture they posted he's wearing a MC vest.
Kamloops BC Now is reporting that "The 31-year-old male victim of the Super 8 Hotel shooting has been identified as Cody Marcel Mathieu from Kamloops. He was previously known to police. The victim of the Comfort Inn and Suites was 41-year-old Rex Edward Gill from Penticton. He was not previously known to police. Police believe that organized crime was behind the violence, therefore, targeting specific people."
Castanet is reporting that "Police say a burned out vehicle was found in the Barnharvale area Wednesday that matches the description of a vehicle seen in the area at the time of the second homicide." They are referring to the double homicide as gang related.

US Government shutdown insanity
The US government shut down is absolutely insane. Not because someone wants to build a wall or create affordable medical, but because politicians can't agree on something government employees don't get paid. That doesn't happen in Canada. In fact I don't know of any other country in the world where it does happen. That's something that only happens in a third world country. The fact that the politicians are still being paid even though the government employees aren't is obscene. If the politicians are still being paid so should the government employees.
Don't get me wrong. I am a staunch supporter of the US Constitution but this flaw has nothing to do with the Constitution. There is no reason the politicians can't pass a bill stating that government employees continue to get paid during a legislative gridlock. There is no reason.
American politics right now is a circus side show of self promotion. Both camps are cult like. No offense, but crossing the 49th parallel right now is is like entering the Twilight zone.

Canada Pension Plan still investing in Communist China
CNBC is reporting that "Canada's vast pension fund is sticking with China even as political tensions mount." AYFKM? OUR pension funds are invested in a Communist country that murders and tortures political prisoners? That needs to change. People talk about ethical investments. Right now Communist China is an unethical investment.
Amnesty International has called upon China to release the numbers of people they execute ever yar. Right now the number of people they kill is a state secret. Amnesty International claims that the Chinese authorities executed thousands of people in 2009, more than the rest of the world combined. These aren't people convicted of drug dealing or murder. These are political prisoners executed to order for organ harvesting.
We need to look at the torture that includes human rights lawyers in China.
Canada Pension investing in China knowing that is like investing in Adolf Hitler during the Holocaust. We need to change that investment of public funds.

Laila Yuile calls for a corruption inquiry in BC
Recenlty Laila Yuile made a blog post that went viral entitled The ‘enemy’ IS corruption. Period. As we know, Laila was critical of the corruption in the Christy Clark government that made the New York Times. She was a vocal opponent of the Site C Dam and obviously felt betrayed when the BC NDP decided to proceed with it after they took office.
After doing some soul searching Laila cautioned us about being blindly obedient to any party and warned us of a dark undertow within the BC NDP that was reminiscent of the Christy Clark era. She didn't name Jinny Sims, I did. That was me. Laila has more class than that. I don't.
She did name Rich Coleman and we are in total agreement on that. Laila's latest breakthrough states "The ‘enemy’ is not limited to a political party…the ‘enemy’ of the people is corruption. Period. And that ‘enemy’ did not disappear just because the Liberals are in opposition. Why? Because corruption doesn’t begin or end with a political party." Very true.
Laila goes on to revela that "For every fall guy who takes a rap, there are an endless supply to take his place. This is a lucrative underground industry. And oddly enough in the midst of all these casino money laundering stories, the province expanded gaming with the BCLC approval of a new casino in Ladner…go figure, it’s another Gateway operation."
Gateway casino? GATEWAY CASINO?!!! A-Y-F-K-M?! They are as dirty as it gets. Dianne Watts accepted a $24,500 campaign contribution from Gateway casinos to push the South Surrey mega casino on rural land scam. When I pointed out that Gateway casino was a bad investment because they mysteriously "lost" $1.5 billion in a debt restructure scam, Dianne Watts interrupted me and said that wasn't true when she knew it was. November 30 2018 Seeking Alpha reported Gateway Casinos still has Too Much Debt.
So now the BC NDP are accepting campaign contributions from Gateway casino and just approved a casino for them in Ladner. No wonder Laila is calling for a public corruption inquiry and no wonder John Horgan is saying no. He just got swallowed up in it.
Seizing the proceeds of crime is not the New York model. It is the corrupt LA model during the time of Freeway Ricky when the US crack epidemic was at it's peak. The New York model was made possible because of the Mollen Commission. That is exactly what we need in BC right now.
Wake Up Surrey recommends an Anti Corruption Office:
Pacquiao wins unanimous decision against Broner
CBS is reporting that "In his first fight on U.S. soil since 2016, and his first fight as a 40-year-old, Manny Pacquiao cruised to a unanimous decision victory over Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to retain his secondary WBA welterweight title. Using aggression and quickness, Pacquiao outclassed the reticent Broner, who sat back in an attempt to counter, but threw hardly any punches, and landed even fewer."
Pacquiao said he wants a rematch with Mayweather but Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions said Mayweather's retired and has no interest in a Pacquiao rematch. It's wise to quit while you're ahead. He might not win a second time.

Kelowna drug dealer sentenced
Castanet is reporting that "On Friday, Justice Gary Weatherill sentenced Stephan Rauner to an additional 10 months in jail, taking into account the many addiction recovery programs Rauner has completed during his year of pre-sentence custody at Okanagan Correctional Centre. The jail term is in addition to the year he's spent in pre-sentence custody, which he was granted enhanced credit for at 1.5 times actual time served."
"The two charges of trafficking a controlled substance, to which Rauner pleaded guilty last month, stem from two separate undercover police sting operations in downtown Kelowna, on July 8 and Dec. 14 2017. In the first instance, Rauner sold 0.2 grams of heroin, which also contained the much stronger opioid carfentanil, to an undercover officer in City Park."
"After he was arrested and released on bail, Rauner again sold an undercover officer drugs in downtown Kelowna, this time a small amount of methamphetamine. Rauner was addicted to crack cocaine when he was dealing the drugs in Kelowna, but he told the court he is just days away from being one year sober."
One year sober, that's great. Wait a minute. He's been in jail for a year. It would appear that one year in jail has helped him get off the crack. That sentence was in his best interest.
"The Crown had been seeking 36 months in jail for trafficking the carfentanil-laced heroin in addition to 18 months for trafficking the meth... Crown prosecutor Justin Dalton highlighted the particular harm that drugs like fentanyl and carfentanil have had in B.C. in recent years. In 2017, 75 people died from illicit drugs in Kelowna."
Exactly. Crystal meth is a horrible drug and selling heroin laced with fentanyl and carfentanil is fatal. We need to target these drug dealers and stop wasting our time and money over pot dispensaries. In 2008, RCMP Crime Prevention Program Coordinator Colleen Staresina said arresting drug dealers was too time consuming despite the public outcry at the time. Hopefully Doug McCallum's municipal force will follow Kelowna's example not Colleen Staresina's.
Surrey Six corruption cop pleads guilty and avoids jail time
Keith Fraser is reporting that "A former RCMP officer who was at the centre of a corruption case involving the Surrey Six murder investigation pleaded guilty to several offences Friday but managed to avoid jail time. Derek Brassington pleaded guilty to breach of trust and attempted obstruction of justice and received a conditional sentence of two years less a day to be served in the community. Because of a publication ban, the reasons for the sentence imposed by B.C. Supreme Court Justice Arne Silverman cannot be reported yet."
"The ban extended as well to submissions made by special prosecutor Chris Considine and defence lawyer Ian Donaldson and evidence heard at the court proceeding in a Vancouver courtroom. The conditions in Brassington’s sentence include house arrest, 100 hours of community service and a $10,000 restitution order. The pleas of Brassington, one of four Mounties charged in the case, bring to an end a key chapter in an investigation that stretches back nearly eight years." Oh but does it? Is this chapter really closed?
The publication ban expires after the trial ends. The delays caused by the RCMP cover up of this case set Jamie Bacon free for participating in and orchestrating the Surrey Six where two innocent bystanders were executed. That chapter is not over yet.
This sad saga was about police misconduct in a high profile RCMP murder investigation where unprofessional conduct wasn't the exception it was the norm. These clowns were getting drunk with witnesses, flirting with them and having sex with them. It wasn't just one cop and one witness. It was a climate of unprofessionalism that permeated the entire force let alone unit.
They are the ones that changed the name if IHIT to IHITit.

El Chapo and the Canadian Hells Angels
Kim Bolan is reporting on one line from a New York Times article that stated that Alex Cifuentes testified at El Chapo's trial claiming that "On the stand, Mr. Cifuentes admitted to hatching a failed murder plot with the Hell’s Angels in Canada."
The compromised BC Gang Task force's spin on that statement makes for a great screen play in a fictional novel. The National Post dives more in depth to what was actually said in court.
The National Post is reporting that court transcripts claim the target of the hit was Canadian drug trafficker Stephen Tello, also known as Catboy. As well as Tello, official court transcripts obtained by the National Post show the narco outlining a longstanding relationship for cocaine, heroin and ice (or crystal meth) deals with a man called “Tony Suzuki,” believed to be Antonio Pietrantonio, a well-known Montreal mafia operative. La Presse outlines the Montreal connection.
This proves the link between Operation Fast and Furious and cocaine in Canada.
Donald Trump Pardons El Chapo in exchange for testimony against Hilary Clinton and the CIA
Russian Mike jailed in Curacao suspected of smuggling cocaine into Canada
Mistreating El Chapo diminishes all of us.
