Blood Family Mafia leader arrested in Rome

The Dirty Newz is reporting that "Dave 'Pic' Turmel, the leader of the Blood Family Mafia, who has been on the run for nearly 2 years now, has been arrested in Rome. The BOLO program offered a quartier million dollar reward on the bounty they had set on his head."

CTV is confirming the arrest and claims Turmel is said to have run the BFM from Portugal." CBC and the National Post are also confirming the arrest.

The Dirty Newz is reporting that "Turmel was a drug dealer which the HAMC Quebec City member Mathieu Pelletier supplied. Turmel had eventually found a GPS tracking device under his car in the early months of 2023. Sick and tired of paying the 10% cut the HAMC expected, Turmel rebelled, which led to an underground revolution of street gangs and independent dealers from being controlled by the 1%er clubs in the province. This led to the bloodiest gang war since the Quebec Biker War."

Realistically, paying the 10% tax would have saved him a lot of money and trouble. Now his life is ruined.

    2. Youd be surprised how much influence the native gangs have in the prison systems in Quebec so depending on his standing with them will help him or hurt him further. Will be interesting to see what happens in the province over the next few months

    3. That's true. He might have protection from the Manitoba Warriors and the Rizutos.

  2. This blood family mafia war vs HA wasn't anything like the biker war of the 90s between Rock machine vs HA that lasted nearly 8 years .

    2. 10% actually seems reasonable considering. Considering the idea that everyone knows the Hells Angles are running the drug trade.

    1. Yes but Redd Alert, Brothers Keepers and the Driftwood Crips all work for the Hells Angels. Even Greg Wooley did.

    1. I don't see it at all. I've said this before. People who ride in BC don't like trouble makers and they don't like wannabes. As irritating as the HAs can be, people see them as the real deal and see the others as wannabes. Any other drug dealer trying to muscle in was just seen as another drug dealer and a trouble maker. Nobody in BC except for wannabes want to have anything to do with that.

People said the same thing about the Outlaws. The UN were an anomaly. Who's going to supply them the Rizzutos? I don''t see that. We need to look for career options other than drug dealing. We certainly don't want to see a new Mafia group extorting Vancouver businesses. No one supports that.

  5. If it happened in qubec why couldn't it happen here ?

    1. Because the Rizzutos, who the Hells Angels have betrayed, have always had a huge presence in Quebec. They've never had a presence in Vancouver.
