Politicians hand out candy on the campaign trail

Mark Carney is already too painful to listen to. He claims the New Liberals will do this and that. Only there are no new Liberals. It's the same party. Both sides are promising tax cuts.

Normally, Conservatives lower taxes while Liberals hike taxes. Yet come election time politicians like to throw away candy for voters. Instead of promising more tax breaks I'd really like to hear how Mark Carney plans on paying back last year's $62 billion deficit and how he plans on preventing that kind of completely irresponsible debt next year.

He loves burning money. Lower taxes, reduce tax revenue and spend more. You can't print money forever. Mark Carney is completely irresponsible. I want to talk about last years $62 billion deficit. That's what I want to talk about. That's what's causing inflation. Now let's look at the difference between conservatives and Right wing extremists.

Conservatives like lower taxes, small government and more freedom. Trump wants the opposite. Tariffs are taxes. Donald Trump is raising taxes. More freedom means protection from  unnecessary searches and seizures. The right to due process and legal representation. More freedom means the right to free speech. It doesn't mean you'll be deported for expressing an opinion that Donald Trump doesn't like. Trump Gaza is insane.

Right wing extremists are the same was left wing extremists and Donald Trump has become a right wing extremist. All these executive orders represent the centralization of power. Conservatives believe in the decentralization of power. Donald Trump is not a Conservative. Civil liberty matters.

  1. The "New Liberals". This is just too funny, but on the other hand, it's worked before. "New Democratic Party".

  2. This guy is a banker, and a globalist. Anything he says about finance has to be viewed with that firmly in mind. You can bet he's lying, and you'll win that bet.

  3. Trump is raising taxes? Not on Americans he's not, they are talking about eliminating the Income Tax for anyone making less than $150,000 a year. Raising taxes on us and other countries maybe, but that's probably why they say America first. If Carney really wanted to be popular, what do you think eliminating income tax for all of us making less than $150,000 a year would do for that? I'm thinking that would guarantee his election. Fortunately or unfortunately, take your pick, he won't do that.

    1. For f*ck sakes, tariffs are taxes. Canadian's don't pay that Americans do. Tariffs are the new carbon tax. It's just another way to say tax. The complete centralization of power is Fascist not Conservative. The complete destruction of the civil liberty protected by the Constitution is Fascist not Conservative. The guy has lost his mind. We are allowed to talk about that. How can Carney eliminate income tax with a $62 billion single year deficit. First he has to control his spending. Then he can lower taxes but he won't do either because he's a lying freak who is BFFs with Chrystia Freeland.

  5. They're not taxes when there are multiple other choices to use. It's more of a buy domestic persuasion tactic.
It will cause some increases but not to nearly the effect it will for Canadians.

    1. Tariffs are taxes. That's exactly what they are. I understand the intent. The intent is to make foreign products more expensive so people will buy domestic. However, if you are in manufacturing and you need steel or aluminum to build your products, tariffs make your products more expensive. Guinness is from Ireland. If Trump tariffs that then Guinness becomes more expensive for Americans. It's not rocket science. Rand Paul and Ron Paul get it. They're not leftists.

  6. Actually Guinness has not one but two breweries in the States where they make everything in the product line but Guinness Stout. How hard would it be for them to make that there as well to avoid import duties? Not hard.

    1. For f*ck's sake. Tariffs raise the price of everything we buy and manufacture. There's nothing to argue about. All this me first protectionism is far beyond me. I think it's stupid and self defeating.

    2. It's pretty simple. The globalist march to a world economy has gone way too far, think of this as expansion/contraction. "Me first"? Everyone does me first, then others. To believe otherwise is to misunderstand to core of human nature. Once things readjust we can expect things to settle at a more natural sustainable level not so subject to manipulation by the hidden hand of globalist elitists who are at their core, anti-human.

    3. Yes selfishness is a big part of human nature. That's not a good thing. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins. This is just like Poland in reverse. In Poland the Communists used Fascism to justify their agenda. Now the Fascists are using Communism to justify their agenda. Both extremes are wrong, Defending the civil liberty found in the Constitution needs to be the main focus so we are not lead astray by another wolf in sheep's clothing.

This is going nowhere. I disagree. There are plenty of other QAnon, Flat Earth, Trump Cult sites all over the Internet. This isn't one of them.

    4. To a certain point, it is not selfishness, if you are not capable of helping yourself, how can you then hope to help others. You have to be able to carry your own weight before you are suitable for someone else to lean on. If not all that happens is you both fall.

    5. Yes but conquering foreign nations goes far beyond that.

    1. Exactly. Bill Gates says AI will replace doctors and teachers. His AI. Donald Trump is supporting Bill Gates' Stargate. That should concern everyone. The Emperor is not infallible. He's letting all our doctors and teachers be replaced by AI programed by Communists. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/bill-gates-says-ai-replace-181003713.html

    2. Uh-oh. Doctors I don't really see, although they already have surgical robots, (the DaVinci) that can be used remotely. Teachers, well, there's already a lot of online learning. And a lot of teachers and professors beliefs are basically communist anyway, so no more tax payer funded indoctrination. All you have to do is be able to absorb the material or most of it for online learning. Better hope there's no power failures and the internet is still up, or we'll be back to books, if you can find a copy of what you need. The scary part is when he said "Making Humans Unnecessary 'for Most Things". Show of hands, everyone who gets how that idea dovetails with his interest in depopulation. Less people means more resources for those that are left, doubtless meaning him and people like him. You know, the elites.

    3. I think they mean doctors for consultations. We have a new ap at work for calling a doctor. I'm like is it a person or is it AI? They said it was a real person but no doubt that could change.
