Harvey Riach

In 2013 the CBC reported that the Vancouver police are warning the public that a 66-year-old man with a lengthy criminal history was released from prison Friday afternoon and will be living in Vancouver after spending more than six years in prison for aggravated assault. His name is Harvey Riach. He has been deemed a high risk to reoffend. Police state he poses a risk of significant harm to vulnerable people, including substance abusers, sex workers, and others with whom he may come into contact. Vulnerable people. Pathetic. People are claiming this is James Riach's father.

Donald Salahub

1130 News is reporting that IHIT has identified Donald Salahub, a reckless car jacker from Kelowna as a person of interest in the murder of Skeeter's brother. Salahub was also charged with fraud in Calgary back in 2011. In that same year he was also charged with trafficking and possession with the purpose of trafficking in Calgary.

Beyond the Edge: Climbing Mount Everest

Two weeks ago I watched an inspiring documentary about the first successful ascent up Mount Everest called Beyond the Edge: Climbing Mount Everest. The movie was made in 2013 with actors and documents the 1953 expedition which resulted in the first team to make it to the summit. It's pretty impressive. Although I saw it on Netflicks there appears to be a 3 D version for Imax that both the Globe and Mail as well as the New York Times discussed when it came out.

Although it was a British Expedition the only ones that made the summit was a New Zealander and a local guide. No doubt it was very much a team effort with local Sherpa paid to carry gear up to the various base camps along the way. Yet going the distance and ascending the summit was indeed a grueling and colossal feat. Hat's off to Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. Mad harsh respect. It appears that they knighted the New Zealnder to make him sound British. He's referred to as Sir Edmund Hillary now. He was noble before the Crown gave him the title. What about Tenzing Norgay? Why didn't they knight him? He did the same feat and one could not have made it without the other. Mad harsh respect to Shriya Shah-Klorfine, a Canadian woman from Toronto that made it to the peak of Everest but ran out of oxygen and froze to death on the way down. Peace.

Now another challenge is the wait time for traffic from all the people climbing it. That kind of thing is somewhat beyond me. I have a passion for hiking and snowshoeing in the local mountains but I'm just a day tripper. Power up a ridge get an awesome view then head home. That kind of altitude where you have to carry oxygen is beyond me. Everest is over 29,0000 feet or 8,848 m. The local peaks are around 4720 feet or 1440 meters. The lions is only 5400 feet or 1646 meters. Mount Baker is the nearest glacier and that's only 10,781 ft or 3,286 m. That's plenty high enough for me. I still haven't made it to that summit. I keep running out of steam part the Roman Wall. The summit of Baker really is an over night hike.

After watching the documentary the next day I headed out to St Mark's Summit on Cypress along the Howe Sound Crest trail to check out the receding snow pack. The trail was bare until the summit of St Marks. Tons of people there from all over. Two large groups speaking Farce. Two couples speaking Russian. It's nice hiking with so many people from all over the world that share the same interests. My next quest is to do the Lions when there's still snow on them.

I'm nobody special. I'm just a broke ass thug from the ghetto who likes to get away from the inner city insanity and chill out in the mountains. At least I read the rules before I broke them. I rather lose a fight then miss the war. I never dwell in the darkness because the sun always rises. Word.

K2 is insane. It's way too dangerous.

Departures: Libya and Beyond

Taking a brief intermission from the troll drama I'm still really enjoying this TV series Departures on Netflicks. It's rather profound. Two Canadians take a year off to travel the world. Right from the get go Justin explains that this isn't a holiday. A holiday is me getting stoned every day on the beach. This is an adventure. Indeed it is. They avoid the typical tourist destinations and get the inside look by meeting and traveling with locals. However, it was more than that. Scott talked about how much Justin had grown early on from their experiences as it was the first time he had been out of North America. Justin was living with his girlfriend in Hawaii after spending two years in Las Vegas which was as he described pretty much him getting drunk every day.

Season one concluded their year of traveling and resulted in their return to Canada. Justin's girlfriend hadn't waited for him so what he had before he left was gone. No doubt after a year on the road returning home was a bit of a culture shock. It sure was for me after spending 4 years on the road. I'm from Vancouver and after spending two years in Ireland I couldn't get over the greed and materialism here. I just could relate to it any more. I really wanted to leave when I got engaged so my kids would be born in Ireland. After calming down and thinking about it, I thought I'd be able to provide my kids a better standard of living if I stayed. There is good and bad everywhere you go.

It's just the materialism I found really irritating. They call Vancouver lotus land. Rich people riding around in ridiculously expensive luxury vehicles. The yuppie drug dealers make it ten times worse. They don't have a clue about what life in the hood is really like.

So anyways, after a year of traveling Justin hadn't had enough and went on his own to Europe. His friends Scott and Andre end up meeting him in Spain for a festival and then toured Morocco. Then they decide to start another season of adventures and go to Libya. What an amazing place. Lots of well preserved Roman ruins and of course the magnificent Sahara desert. They rent sand boards which is like snowboards except for the sand and decide to try wake boarding in the sand behind their land rover. Great idea. Only they forgot to rent helmets. Justin catches an edge, lands on his head and gets knocked unconscious. It was hilarious. Yet sand boarding down a slope beside an amazing oasis was astounding.

The thing is right now television sucks. Completely. It all went down the toilet with all those stupid episodes of Survivor. Trying to be sneaky and vote others off the island while you promote your own political agenda. That is so typical North America it's embarrassing. What ever happened to chivalry or sacrificing for someone else? You don't see any of that there. Instead it's all about me and has spiraled downward in an ongoing ridiculous tirade of reality television that is ultimately a complete waste of time. Don't even get me started on Sons of Anarchy. I love riding motorcycles. It's all the crack head drama that I can't stand.

The thing is after the first year Justin had changed. He matured. In a previous post I recommended people travel and get out of the fish bowl. That's not possible for everyone. The cost of housing is off the charts right now. Parents have to make sacrifices for their kids. Braces for your kids are more important than travel for you right now. Everything has it's time and place. I recommend young people travel so they can see what it's like in other parts of the world. I'm not talking about the yuppie drug dealers that go to the beach in Mexico every year. They aren't learning anything from that and as a result they simply aren't growing up.

Yet if you simply watch the series you can get a glimpse of what I'm talking about. My daughter took a couple trips to Colombia. She loves Spanish and had an awesome time. Recently in our financial struggles she said to me in Colombia the people are dirt poor but they are really happy. Imagine that. No one likes to starve or live in poverty. It's just this bizarre sense of greed that we are constantly bombarded with on television that is so empty and unfulfilling.

Blaze is an idiot. Everyone can see that. A 41 year old man selling drugs to high school kids riding around on a bmx is the epitome of loser. Every word that comes out of his mouth proves it further. Another toll, Naniamo girl, sees Blaze's trash and takes courage. He says What's the obsession with crack cocaine? These aren't the /80's. You must not get out much. You must never have been to the DTES or outside the Front Room in Surrey where the crack epidemic is alive and well. That's why they hand out freaking crack pipes at the taxpayers expense.

Many years ago on my second trip to New York City, we had just broken up a fight between two crack heads with kitchen knives on the deuce (East 42nd Street) which was like the Main and Hastings of crack. One guy comes up to me, calls me Dirty Harry and says I've been watching too much television. I scoff and reply yo bro I don't have a television. This isn't a zoo. This is the city and what these clowns are doing isn't acceptable. There are families and regular people here that just want to do business without seeing that kind of crap. Everyone else agreed. They said we were doing a good thing. That was the New York model.

When we were busting up crack shacks in South Seattle, one lady says to me those crack dealers wouldn't leave from outside my doorway until I poured bleach on their heads from the window. They left in a hurry after that. I smiled and laughed. Now that is a New Yorker. I love New York.

Skeeter Russell's brother shot dead in Surrey

The Vancouver Province is reporting that a man found dead in a vehicle in Surrey on Friday is believed to be the brother of convicted drug trafficker Skeeter Russell. Skeeter plead guilty in the Hells Angels cross border drug ring involving Robert Shannon and Jody York. His brother getting shot in Surrey is confusing. What the hell is Peltier still doing business in Surrey? He's been involved in the Surrey drug trade sine the Surrey House of Horrors and screws everyone he does business with. Ya think he didn't know what Larry Mizen was doing at the time?

Update: The Vancouver Province is reporting that IHIT has confirmed that the victim is Michael Donald Amy of Abbotsford, also known as Michael Russell the brother of Skeeter Russel.

Fentanyl found in Vancouver Pot - Update

The Vancouver Province is reporting the VPD announced that the police are now finding fentanyl turning up in batches of seized marijuana. That is messed up. Perhaps this is an argument in favor of the Hells Angels selling pot. I'm sure it's highly unlikely any pot coming out of the Black Door across the street from the Amsterdam cafe beside the Bulldog Cafe has any fentanyl in it. Yet the Hells Angels in Saskatchewan were busted for selling fentanyl. If anyone finds any from pot coming out of the Black Door with fentanyl in it, make sure to let me know. VPD said they would announce a large fentanyl bust today.

Vancity Buzz is reporting that the VPD has seiezed nearly 700,000 pills, large quantities of other drugs, weapons, and vehicles in Project Tainted. 13,000 oxycodone, 29,000 fentanyl pills, 9.5 kgs of crack cocaine and 5.5 kgs of powdered cocaine were seized. News 1130 is reporting that twelve people in Metro Vancouver have been hit with a total of 100 charges. CBC is reporting that Police sent a news release correcting the information to 71 charges against 10 people. CBC is also reporting that the fentanyl pills are known as green beans and are sold as fake oxycodone, but are actually fentanyl mixed with caffeine.

Update: One blog reader claims the pot that was found containing fentanyl were pre rolled joints but I can see nothing the media about that. I would like to confirm whether or not that is the case and find out how people can identify if they have pot that is laced with fentanyl.

Perception of the Patch: Growing up in the real world

The apostle Paul once said "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." All of us make mistakes when we are children and all of us grow up. Well most of us. I'm not a religious man... any more. I used to be but I'm not now. Circumstances don't make the man they reveal him to himself. I'm more of a Thomas Paine. I believe in God but I am cynical of organized religion. Yet I am passionate about the freedom of religion and I am passionate about the reality of good and evil. We all make choices in life and we all live with the consequences of those choices.

Last year I had the opportunity of interviewing a young lady from Whiterock who discussed how her perception of the patch had changed since she grew up and since she observed some bizarre behavior from one particular patch holder which she felt was not in harmony with her previous perception of the patch. She said back then when a Hells Angel walked into a bar every woman's head turned. I thought to myself are you kidding me? If Ricky C walked in everyone's head would turn to see what that smell was.

That's like that crazy woman in the States who was obsessed with Charles Manson and married him while in prison. Not a very smart thing to do. Yes my perception of the patch has changed considerably since I found out about the compulsive lies, the betrayal, the exploitation and the rip offs. They are the rats they so venomously accuse others of being.

My daughter recently told me that when she and her friend were young they Googled the question why do we like bad boys? She said the answer she found is that you'll grow out of it. That she has thankfully. She is older and wiser now. Surrey trash repulses her. Like I always say, if you date a bad boy you will marry a bad man.

I understand the greed and the obsession with money. In today's day we all could use a little more cheddar to make ends meet. Yet the greed and materialism is beyond me. I want no part of it. I may be a broke ass bitch but I don't sling crack and I never will. A poor man is better than a liar.

Opposition leader shot dead in Moscow

CBC is reporting that Boris Nemtsov, a charismatic Russian opposition leader and sharp critic of President Vladimir Putin, was gunned down Saturday near the Kremlin, just a day before a planned protest against the government. It would appear that although Communism has left Russia, democracy has not yet arrived.

Nemstov, 55, was the head of the opposition Republican Party of Russia-People's Freedom Party. Last year Nemtsov was among opposition leaders who gathered in Moscow to protest the government's crackdown on independent media and opposition groups when he said "It's honestly like in the Hitler time," Nemtsov said at the time. "If you are against Putin, you are against Russia. Sounds a lot like North America.

Politicians in Russia like to make reference to Hitler because everyone hated him for good reason. We hated him too. However, Stalin was no better. He was the exact same thing. Some would argue even worse if that is possible. The strange thing is, all of these politicians - Putin, Yeltsin and even Nemstov were in power under Gorbachev when Communism in Russia "fell" yet they're still in power which is indeed somewhat suspicious. The last thing we'd like to see is Big Brother return to Communism after another failed attempt at democracy.

The quest isn't Communism or Capitalism it's the creation of a free republic where civil liberty is protected by law that binds the government not the people. Here in North America our freedom is under fire from within and civil liberty hangs by a thread. A Communist revolution will not save it, it will throw us out of the frying pan into the fire. We need to defend the US Constitution and the Canadian Charter of Rights. That is my title of liberty in our day. We need to make the oath to protect civil liberty and we need to keep that oath. Oath keepers arise.

Blaze confesses to murder

It's been a busy couple of weeks. I weathered another barrage of death threats from a ridiculous troll, survived a legal challenge from a competent law firm specializing in defamation and Blaze confessed to murder. So it would seem. A troll started spamming my blog with comments as soon as I made a post about Blaze being busted in Kelowna. Usually it doesn't take long for trolls to figure out the comments on my blog are moderated and I don't approve threats or stupid rambling. Yet this troll was different. Persistent isn't the word. Obsessive is. They kept posting threats and insults over and over again despite the fact that they saw I wasn't approving them.

Many of them contained my real name so I didn't approve them. I know everyone knows who I am now but the anonymity thing is just a minor firewall so people at work don't figure out I do this blog. The last thing I want to do is come to work and hear people say we saw you on TV again or so you're the guy that does that gang blog - snitches and bitches. I like minding my own business at work. I do my job, go home and keep politics separate from work.

So finally I decide to approve some of the comments that didn't contain my real name so everyone could see what kind of a freak this person really is. Referring to Janice Shore and Britney Irving as a junkie was a giveaway. That's what Joey called Briney Irving when he confessed to murdering her. He said she was just a junkie. Not. She was addicted to oxy and sold pot to pay for her oxy habit. Who do you think she sold the pot for and bought the oxy from?

So this troll starts posting all this trailer trash nonsense threatening my family left right and centre. Then they start posting deranged nonsense about how wonderful it was that Larry Mizen caved in Janice Shore's head claiming that Janice and Brittney Irving deserved it because they were weak which is not only offensive but makes no sense whatsoever.

I knew that Blaze was obsessed with my blog and web site. People would write in and tell me about it. How he was so obsessed with my blog he'd try and get others to post on it for him. Then I hear he had made bail so the troll thing made sense. It's possible his co accused girlfriend set up the account but it would appear that he's using it now.

On the post about the Second Anniversary of Janice Shore's Brutal Murder I asked "So Blaze, where were you really the night Brittney Irving was killed? To claim that Britney and Janice deserved it because they were weak is deranged. Then he baits me and knowing I won't approve a post with my real name replies "I'll tell you where I was XXXXX XXXXX, I was right there making sure things got done. Just like I'm gonna make sure things get done when it comes to you."

I thought about approving the comment but didn't. Then he baits me again and says "I was there XXXXX XXXXX, right there watching." I knew he lied about his whereabouts the day Joey killed Britney Irving. So here it would appear that he, or someone pretending to be him, confesses to being at the scene when Joey shot her. OK so Joey's already convicted, Blaze being present is simply an accessory to murder and rather hard to prove. Highly unlikely it would go anywhere especially since the brain surgeon claims he's posting from a cell phone and is "untraceable."

However, it doesn't end there. He keeps baiting me and posts "I was the driver when we killed b, you got that XXXXX XXXXX." This time he says "we" and appears to confess to murder. Personally I don't believe he did do it because Joey was the hunter. Joey had the shotgun. Blaze couldn't fire a 12 gauge without falling on his ass let alone hit anyone with a shotgun slug. That is what the court was told killed Britney Irving. She was shot in the back while running away with a shot gun slug. She was shot four times, twice in the back.

I don't believe Blaze did it but I do believe he was present. These troll comments really prove nothing. When I was in Kelowna, I attended some of Joey's trial. The judge said something while the jury was out of the room and because the jury wasn't present I couldn't report on it at the time but now that his trial is over I can. The judge was a bit skeptical of Joey's father's reference for Joey. The judge was surprised at the monetary volume of drugs Joey was trafficking even while in prison for the murder. Joey was a high level dealer not a low level one that I had assumed. He was a high level dealer in Kelowna. Who do you think he was working for? He was a known Hells Angels associate.

The court heard evidence that Joey was trying to force another man to take the fall for him before his lawyer told him that was a no go. Aside from rationalizing what he had done by saying Britney was just a junkie, he told the guy two things. He told the guy that he couldn't go to jail because he was making too much money in the drug trade. He had to keep the business going. Then he said he had to do it. He didn't have a choice. He didn't say why. Later I had a source that told me Joey had to kill Britney because he owed someone money. Why that person would want Britney Irving dead is anyone's guess. Might of had something to do with the manufactured debt when her clone show was busted. May Britney Irving rest in Peace. She was no junkie.

Hells Angels associate in court for Toronto murder

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Hells Angels associate Rabih Alkhalil from surrey was in court for the murder of Johnnie Raposo in Toronto. Police claimed Raposo was the leader of the McCormick Boys, a small west-end Portugese gang that bought drugs from Italian organized crime. Nic Nero, another Hells Angels associate is Rabih Alkhalil's co accused in that murder. Nic Nero became a cocaine trafficking kingpin in Niagra where his co accused Rabih Alkhalil also has outstanding drug charges. Rabih is more known for his drug bust in Montreal with Larry Amero.

Larry Amero and Jonathon Bacon attended Rabih's brother Nabil's wedding in Ottawa before they were shot in Kelowna. Nabil Alkalil was caught with 11 kilograms of cocaine in Ottawa back in 2008 and served a seven year sentence. As the Vancouver Province pointed out, the Alkalil's associations with the Hells angels go back to the Loft Six shooting where Rabih's other brother Mahmoud Alkhalil was shot dead by Hells Angels rivals. As the Vancouver Province also pointed out, Rabih Alkhalil has been charged in the Wall Centre shooting for killing a Hells Angels rival.
