The Tribune India is reporting that "Grant Wahl, a prominent US soccer journalist who was outspoken in his opposition of Qatar hosting the World Cup, died on Friday while covering the tournament in Doha. He was 49. Wahl reportedly collapsed while covering the Argentina-Netherlands game and was taken to a hospital. It was unclear where he died."

"His brother Eric Wahl suspected foul play, particularly in light of the fact that Grant Wahl was denied entry to the United States' first game in Qatar vs Wales on November 21 as he was wearing a rainbow T-shirt. Monday Grant wrote on his website that he was feeling sick but didn't have Covid as he tests for Covid regularly. The fake fact checker is admitting that "Grant Wahl was vaccinated against COVID-19, receiving his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on April 7, 2021. He announced that he was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, on May 12, 2021."

The fake fact checkers are quick to claim that there is absolutely no evidence that Grant Wahl died from the vaccine. GMAFB. He died suddenly and unexpectedly while covering a soccer game in Qatar. We don't know the cause of death. We don't know the cause of death for any of the people who died of SADS - Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. They be bustn caps in my crib again. Police are on scene at the intersection of 152nd street and 100th Avenue and are rerouting traffic in all directions. That's a pretty busy intervention. I didn't hear any shots and I didn't speak with anyone who heard shots but people said witnesses claimed it was a shooting. IIO is on scene which would imply it was a police involved shooting.

Someone said someone said they saw a body bag but I didn't. Just some clothes on the road beside the car. Both ambulances have already left the scene. There is a tent set up beside a vehicle and that tent usually means something.

Update: CTV is reporting that "Police reported to the IIO that they had attempted to stop a suspect, who shot himself as officers were approaching his vehicle, an IIO spokesperson said. She added that the man was not expected to survive his injuries." That's pretty f*cked up.

The Tri city News is reporting that "A woman is dead after succumbing to gunshot wounds from a fatal shooting in Coquitlam last night (Dec. 8). Before 11 p.m., frontline Mounties were called to reports of a shooting on Lambert Way near Turner Avenue in the Hockaday neighbourhoud west of the Coquitlam River. A woman was found inside a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and first responders began lifesaving measures. However, spokesperson Cpl. Alexa Hodgins explained she died at the scene after succumbing to her injuries."

Saskatchewan drug bust tied to Edmonton

Lights to the Lodge on Cypress Mountain

Speaking of Christmas, in the cross country area of Cypress mountain you can rent snowshoes and go on the lights to the lodge trail. They have Christmas lights along the 1 km trail to Hollyburn lodge for a hot chocolate or some homemade bread and soup. You'll want to do it when it gets dark. It's a great introduction to snowshoeing the whole family will enjoy.
