Saskatchewan drug bust tied to Edmonton

Sask today is reporting that "A man who fled Saskatchewan and skipped his sentencing hearing after he was released on bail is facing more charges out of Edmonton where he was finally caught. Kurt Miller, 42, from Brownlee, Sask., has been additionally charged with drug trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of equipment for use in production of substance." 10 kg of fentanyl was seized. Edmonton is Red and White.

    "his sentencing be delayed until February to give him time to get his affairs in order because he was going to receive significant prison time and the Crown didn’t object."

    His lawyer, the Crown, and the Judge all bear responsibility for the number of people this guy killed with overdoses during the 10 months he was on the run and actively involved in selling large amounts of fentanyl. Good job, hope you sleep well at night. 

    These guys are soft in the head. A cop was shot during the original arrest. We need judges who are elected, not appointed. How you get rid of a Crown attorney this dumb I have no idea.
