Ecstasy case thrown out over charter violations

My first thought when reading the headline was another crackpot judge throwing out another gang related drug bust over a stupid technicality. Like the case where police when exercising a search warrant knocked on the front door but failed to knock on the back door too. Throwing out all that evidence over that technicality was absurd. Or setting Jon Bacon free after he was caught with two machines gun and a silencer.

However, this case is a little more complicated and warrants a discussion on the importance of the Charter and the right to be protected from unnecessary searches and seizures. Obviously that clause has many of us dealing with the violence of a drug related gang war frustrated.

Historically, the clause was added to the US Constitution after the founding fathers in the American revolution said they didn't want big brother meddling in their affairs all the time. The purpose of the clause was not to help organized crime. The purpose of the clause was to prevent us from becoming a police state like in a Communist country or under the Third Reich where citizens can be randomly searched at any time for any reason. It is easy to see how that could easily be exploited if the police simply wanted to harass someone for their religious or political beliefs.

Personally I think if you're a known gang member then that would suffice as just cause to randomly search that known gang member when they go out in public for drugs or guns. If you're a known gang member with a firearms ban then that would be just cause to randomly search that known gang member or their vehicle for firearms. Not in their home in the middle of the night. When they go out in public and threaten public safety.

The courts don't necessarily see it that way but I don't think we should change the Charter and water it down. The problem rises in what the police define as a gang member or a terrorist. If you are a Branch Dividian, does that make you a gang member or a terrorist? No it does not. What if you are a member of a trade union or a Muslim? Does that make you a terrorist or a risk to public safety? No it does not.

Protecting the charter is an important thing. Yet it is also important to remember the spirit of the Charter and the reason it was introduced. The purpose of the charter is not to protect organized crime it is to protect individuals right to freedom of association. Now that freedom of association does not include the right to commit crime or belong to a criminal organization and no, joining a bowling league or motorcycle club does not automatically mean criminal organization.

However, the case law has been long established that the Hells angels use the name and reputation of their organization to sell and protect people who sell drugs for them. It has become clear that the Hells Angels use puppet clubs to sell drugs and to commit crime for them. After it had been legally established that the hells angels are a criminal organization, their clubhouse was seized in Halifax. Changing the name of that clubhouse to Darksiders, Bacchus or Anarchy bikers does not removed the Hells angels criminal involvement and vested interest in that clubhouse.

We have seen televised fictional drama about police investigating large drug operations and how important timing is to make the bust. The comedy Bad Boys showed the police getting a search warrant in the middle of the night for an urgent application before the drugs were moved. Likely that was the intent of the police getting a telephone warrant from a court outside of their jurisdiction in the Richmond Ecstasy bust.

I have two points. First, the human ego is apparent. Judges and police are all human. They can and do sometimes become arrogant thinking they are god and the other organization is subordinate to them. As common as that seems, there is no place for arrogance or power struggles in law enforcement.

My other point is that in my opinion one of the most important reasons for requiring the police to get a search warrant is to see what kind of evidence the police have that would give them reason to believe drugs or firearms are in that locations. If the police are going to use dynamic entry with weapons drawn, then they better be sure they have the right house or the right suite number.

Not long ago we saw a case in Ontario where the police broke in with guns drawn and had the wrong house. In another case in Ontario SWAT had the wrong house and the tenant fired back thinking it was a home invasion. Getting a search warrant hopefully minimizes the number of mistakes of crashing down the wrong door.

I do think knocking on the door is important. My father always used to object to ERT wearing balaclavas. He'd say if some guy with an automatic weapon wearing army fatigues and a balaclava comes baning on my door yelling open up it's the police, I'm sure not going to open the door. I have no idea it's not a terrorist.

Stun grenades sure sounds excessive too, especially when they get the wrong house. I realize that when making a large drug bust surprise is important. Every extra minute they take in opening the door they could be poring the drugs down the sink or toilet. Yet the whole idea of the police having a search warrant thinking that gives them the right to break down your door without notice and start throwing stun grenades anywhere they want is disturbing.

Protection from unnecessary searches and seizures, protection from arbitrary arrest and detainment, the requirement to be charged with an offense for an arrest and the right to a fair and reasonably speedy trial are indeed important rights in a world where strange things are happening in our political climate. The Constitution and the charter of rights in the spirit of the intent they were framed are still important measuring sticks to safeguard democracy.

Operation Fast and Furious in the Presidential Debate

People were asking me if I saw the presidential debate. I tried not to. My daughter had it on when I was working on the computer and I heard part of it. I really find it too upsetting to watch. Politicians will tell you what you want to hear to get elected then do what they want when they’re in power.

One blog reader pointed out that Romney mentioned Operation Fast and Furious in the debate. I missed that part and had to take another look at it on Youtube. I find it immensely hypocritical that Republicans in the States are trying to use Operation Fast and Furious to lynch Obama when George Bush did the exact same thing in Operation Wide Receiver. Both operations were wrong.

Yet I find the lack of media coverage about it in Canada to be disturbing. I also find Obama’s response to that question offensive. Romney brings the subject up and Obama responds by smiling and saying next question. The murder of a US border agent and bringing tons of cocaine into the United States is nothing to smile about.

Romney pointed out that the American people have heard very little about why Operation Fast and Furious was put in place and who was responsible for it since the president has exercised his executive privilege over it. Indeed, that is a huge concern. Keeping an unlawful state secret is not only unlawful but in this case is a threat to National Security.

There’s a new riveting TV series on called Last Resort. It is very dramatic and pushes the envelope to the extreme, but the point is that citizens are sworn to protect the constitution not the government. Helping the government break the constitution is treason. Defending the constitution is not.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the CIA arms dealing, drug trafficking and money laundering is a huge concern and a huge threat to national security as well as national prosperity. It didn’t just magically start in Fast and Furious and in Wide Receiver. Judge Bonner complained about the CIA bringing a ton of cocaine into Florida when he was a DEA agent.

The CIA kept adamantly denying it over and over again. Then when Judge Bonner went on 60 Minutes and documented everything they finally admitted it but said that as the only time and it was a mistake. They were trying to catch the bad guys. That was a lie. They made no attempt to track the cocaine or make any arrests just like in Fast and Furious.

This drug trafficking is non partisan. Barry Seal was deeply involved in the CIA’s drug trafficking and arms dealing out of Mena, Arkansas in support of the contra rebels in Nicaragua when Clinton was Governor of Arkansas under President Bush Sr. Oliver North and Richard Secord were in charge of everything that went in and out of Nicaragua at the time under Iran contra. Bo Gritz and Terry Reed both testified about George Bush Sr.’s role in drug trafficking for the CIA during Vietnam. It is a huge problem that has gone on for generations and has crashed banks as a result.

Income Tax Inequity

My other concern about the Presidential debate is the hypocrisy that continues. Romney kept repeating his plan is to reduce taxes for the middle class. Why does he keep saying that? Because he is telling voters what they want to hear and was caught on hidden camera saying the exact opposite.

I agree, putting a hidden camera on Romney was cheap. Yet his claim that 47% of Americans don’t want to work and won’t vote for him is typical of his real position on the matter. Romney is the rich criminals’ poster boy. There is nothing wrong with being rich. I do not support the redistribution of wealth. My concern is the investment fraud that continues where the rich continue to steal from the working class. The people who have jobs and pay taxes. Stealing tax dollars is wrong. That has nothing to do with not wanting to work. In that case it is the rich criminals who don’t want to work because they are stealing from those who are. As we saw on the cover of the Rolling Stones, that is what Bain Capital was all about.

Michael Moore raised a good point in his movie Capitalism a Love story. Reagan’s tenure as President saw a huge transformation in the nation’s taxation policy that went from one extreme to the other. At one point the rich were paying a huge percentage of income tax. Then after bankers and Wall Street took positions in office, that dramatically change to the opposite extreme where they pay next to nothing in income tax. Donald Trump is one example. Warren Buffett is another. Donald Trump, bragging about not paying any income tax at all is not right. It’s not a sign of being wise and shrewd in knowing tax laws. It is evidence of why the system has gone to the opposite extreme where the rich steal from the poor. This has nothing to do with the poor being jealous of the rich. It’s about everyone paying their fair share.

Warren Buffett pays less income tax than his secretary. He admits that’s wrong. His secretary pays income tax at a rate of 35.8 percent of income, while Buffett pays a rate at 17.4 percent. As we recall, back in the day, the more money you earned the higher the tax bracket that put you in. Seeing this go to the other extreme is disturbing. Not only because it has resulted in a huge amount of lost tax revenue which has compounded the debt, but also because it results in a huge amount of money hidden off shore that could be helping build the American economy. That is the MO of Bain Capital. To evade taxes by investing off shore. That doesn’t help the American economy. Investors shouldn’t be rewarded with tax deductions for doing that.

During the presidential debate, Romney was clear he wanted to maintain this status quo for the rich. That is not going to help repay the debt or rebuild the American economy. Romney’s quote was that the rich keep paying 60% of the tax. When a billionaire is in a much lower tax bracket than his secretary, that is wrong. I’m not saying we should go back to the other extreme where the rich are over taxed. I’m saying all these loop holes where the rich can evade taxes by investing off shore need to be replaced.

Financial Crisis in Canada

Recently there was a doom and gloom report claiming Alberta and Ontario are at high risk for a Greek financial crisis style collapse. These kind of manipulative statements are very disturbing. Of course Canada could see a Greek style financial collapse. We already saw how Earl Brian and the CIA used investment fraud to steal millions from Canadian investors to raise money for the October Surprise.

If it happened then, it could happen again. After all, that is what caused the Greek financial crisis - investment fraud. What was public money became private money, then all of a sudden disappeared. Goldman Sachs was directly involved. Iran contra wasn’t just about selling arms to Iran to free hostages. They paid Iran to keep the hostages until after the election.

The purpose of Iran contra was to sell Iran weapons to raise money to fund the contra rebels in Nicaragua. The purpose of the cocaine trafficking in Iran contra was to raise money for the contra rebels. In Al Martin’s book, the Conspirators, he goes into detail explaining how Jeb Bush instructed him to commit investment fraud to raise money under Iran contra for the contra rebels in Nicaragua. The Agency’s involvement with money laundering and investment fraud is nothing new. It has crashed banks in the past. Banks don’t crash all by themselves. Someone has to break in and steal from them. Usually it’s the people that own the banks who are involved in defrauding them.

Right now I see three problems that need to be addressed: The Agency’s arms dealing and drug trafficking, Tax inequity and investment fraud that is crashing banks and stealing tax dollars. These three things need to be addressed.

Harper's conflicted Jets and Helicopters

Raymond Sturgeon is a Conservative candidate in northern Ontario. He is a senior partner at the Ottawa-based lobbying firm CFN Consultants. It specializes in defence and security and Lockheed Martin is one of several clients that sells aircraft and equipment to government departments.

The registry shows he was an active lobbyist for Lockheed Martin until December 15, 2010. Shortly after his registration as a lobbyist for Lockheed Martin ended, Sturgeon was selected as the Conservative candidate in January.

Lockheed Martin has won a number of contracts with DND over the years, but the big one that has proven to be a divisive issue on Parliament Hill is the F-35 fighter jet deal — the largest military procurement in Canada's history.

Michael Forrestall claimed that Raymond Sturgeon was also involved with lobbying Ballard Power Systems and the purchase of Sea King Helicopters. But of course the CONservatives once again pulled the Privacy act card and refused to answer the question. Deja vu. Didn't they also hide and black out most of the documents that tied them to torture in Afghanistan over a claim of national defense privacy?

Lost: Honest transparent government.

Meanwhile back on the campaign trail Harper is kissing babies and handing out free candy. Well not exactly. He's handing out IOU's for free candy. He's promising he'll reduce taxes for families at some later date in the future while he posed with a family and their children. Tell ya what. Instead of handing out free candy during an election only to rip away the bread and butter from working families across the country, keep your tax break. If we have a budget surplus, stop the HST and keep lowering the GST until it hits zero. That is what's best for all of Canada.

BTW US sources claim the jets cost more like $100 million each. Why did the Harper government refuse to tell the real cost to the House when it was supposed to be debated? That's not very... honest.

Christmas Epiphany 2011

Well here it is. I'm going to post the Christmas Epiphany early this year because I have a ton of stuff to do and my computer is screwed. An epistle is a letter. An epiphany is an awakening. Buddhists say Nirvana. In Zen they say enlightenment. An epiphany isn't a full scale Nirvana or enlightenment. It's just a small step in that direction. A light goes on and after connecting the dots in two previously unrelated items things all of a sudden make sense.

When I first started this blog and web site people kept asking me what my hate is for the Hells Angels. By now they don't ask that any more because the Hells Angels violent control of the drug trade has become clear.

One thing is certain and that's the Rizzuto family are getting wiped off the planet by what appears to be non Italians. Most of the hits aren't following the norm. A sniper shooting the patriarch through the window in front of his family. Firebombing a funeral home where a funeral was to take place. That was abnormally disrespectful. That's something that neither the Italians or the French would do. They have more respect for the dead than that.

People ask me who I think is responsible and I say the Hells Angels to which they respond of course you do. Yet while combing through some English translations of some French news articles I had an Epiphany. It was at that time my computer had an intrusion attempt that crashed my whole system completely.

Speaking of talking about things I have no idea about, I'm going to mention the Italian Mafia in Canada. Since I'm from the West coat, I know next to nothing on the subject. I know the Italians use to have gill nets and wine with a small bonfire in Ambleside beach back in the day. No harm in that. Yet I went for lunch with an author from Montreal last month and he said what surprised him most was when the Rizzutos gave Mom Boucher the heroin trade way back when. I said the Rizzutos gave the Hells Angels the heroin trade in Montreal? and he said yes. They had to pay the Rizzutos a cut but the family let the Hells Angels take it over because it was easier for them to manage.

Well I said. That would kinda support my theory that it's the Hells Angels putting hits on the Rizzuto family simply because they don't want to pay them a cut any more. Now before you scoff and cry blasphemy, let's look at an interesting article in French from January 2007. Translated into English it claims:

A family of Granby has used threats and intimidation for two years to recover $900,000 with the leaders of the Rizzuto clan, learned the Royal Canadian Mounted Police during its investigation of the Sicilian Mafia. The conflict has almost degenerated into bloody war.

In a document of 131 pages to accompany requests for search warrants, the RCMP said the episode in detail, as the organization (the Rizzuto clan) is having a conflict with the D'Amico family of Granby.

In January 2004, the clan chief, Vito Rizzuto, was arrested at the request of the Americans who accuse him of being involved in a triple murder on behalf of the Bonanno family in New York. His lieutenant, Francesco Arcadi, takes the lace. A month later, Luigi D'Amico him phone the restaurant to his son, St. Charles La Trattoria, in Granby, to make an appointment.

At the end of the afternoon, the RCMP hidden cameras reveal the presence of Arcadi, Luigi d'Amico and his son Tiziano back in the office of the Consenza social club, which serves as the headquarters of the clan Rizzuto, Saint-Léonard. It is unclear what men have said. But in August 2005, Arcadi told a sidekick that "bikers" of Granby wanted to "cut off his head."

Halloween night, 2005 Nicola Varacalli from the Rizzuto clan is kidnapped. The police know who the kidnappers. But it seems that they have kidnapped Varacalli to send a message to the Rizzuto clan.

Negotiations continue with the kidnappers. RCMP captures a multitude of conversations. Thus, in the bar Laennec, another haunt of the Rizzuto clan in Laval, a henchman of Arcadi, Lorenzo Giordano, mentions the name Patrizio D'Amico, he associates the "frenchman" (Hells Angels). He suggested paying half a million now and $ 400 000 later, when Varacalli will be released. It has been said that D'Amico family of Granby is linked to the Hells Angels.

This article is in English: Montreal kingpins rattled by small-town gang. On Aug. 22, 2006, a scuffle outside a downtown restaurant between Mr. Del Balso and Hells Angels supporter Charles Huneault ended with the Mafia men opening fire on Mr. Huneault's Porsche.

When an underling urged him to cool off, Mr. Del Balso said: “So why does this guy (Mr. Huneault) have the honours of grabbing my throat?” A week later, the gang was flustered further when one member, Domenico Macri, was shot dead by two motorcyclists as he was motoring towards Mr. Arcadi's home.

This French article translated into English claims: The report, citing a New York journalist and confidential sources, shows that the decision to kill Rizzuto did not require approval of the Bonanno family in New York as many have suggested. The decision would come from Hamilton, Ontario where three Calabrian families share the power, Papalio the Luppino and Musitano.

These clans could ally with Calabrian already well established in Quebec, as Luigi D'Amico, of Granby, who would do business with the Hells Angels Sherbrooke and Francesco Del Balso, a specialist in money laundering.

Sources also assume that Francesco ACARD, a close Rizzuto might change sides. "Everything is possible, says John Galianos. We saw the Rock Machine to join the Hells Angels." (Must be referring to Mom Boucher's old friend Salvatore Cazzetta who crossed over to become the President of the Montreal Hells Angels)

To make a long story short, the kidnapping of Nicola Varacalli Halloween 2005 was pivotal. The Hells Angels were behind it. They were blackmailing the Rizzuto family. They said they were ready to cut off their head and were ready to bring them a war like in Iraq. That tension increased in 2006 with the retaliatory murders of Charles Huneault and Domenico Macri. Mon Dieu! I may be crazy but the Hells Angels are clearly at the root of our drug and organized crime violence in Canada.

Operation Phoenix Revisited

Operation Phoenix was a significant police operation targeting the Hells Angels in the 1990's. I think it's time to revisit that case since it is the very nature of the legendary Phoenix to rise again from the ashes.

Allen Dalstrom was fired by OCABC chief officer David Douglas in 2004 after concerns were raised about Dalstrom's handling of Project Phoenix, a multimillion-dollar investigation of the Hells Angels that was never prosecuted, and over comments Dalstrom allegedly made to a journalist writing a book about the Angels.

Dalstrom alleged in court documents that Phoenix failed because of a turf war between the RCMP and the OCABC. His trial threatened to expose deep divisions between the RCMP and municipal police in B.C. and call some of the most senior officers in the province to the stand.

Insp. Andy Richards, a former investigator with the OCABC who now works for Port Moody police, said Wednesday that Phoenix targeted nine suspects, including three full-patch members of the Hells Angels, and the case should have gone to trial.

"It was a very compelling case and ... highly prosecutable," Richards said. "But because so much baggage had been raised and so much mud had been thrown, Crown was not willing to proceed because ... it was not in the public interest to publicize the level and extent of the infighting."

Richards said that in his view, Phoenix was scuttled by senior RCMP officers because they were jealous another agency had succeeded against the Angels on what they saw as the Mounties' turf.

Asked if he thought the RCMP had learned from the Dalstrom case, Richards replied: "I hope so. But I'm just not convinced they're an organization that necessarily learns from these lessons. ... I'm not sure they learn unless they take it on the chin publicly."

RCMP Supt. Pat Fogarty said Wednesday the four-member board that fired Dalstrom had only one RCMP member on it, with the other three from municipal police forces. "The decision to do what they did was not exclusively the RCMP," he said. "They were only one vote out of four."

Pat Fogarty, the man from space. I am told he is a buffoon. Literally. It is a great concern how someone so completely out of touch with reality could have risen so high in RCMP leadership. It's as though the RCMP didn't want cases against the bikers to proceed so they promoted an idiot to be in charge.

After the VPD caught two Hells Angels in a drug ring, the NDP government created OCABC, a provincial gang task force that was effective at it's job. The RCMP were jealous and did everything in their power to successfully scuttle it's operations. It is a travesty of justice that after the RCMP sabotaged OCABC, it was the provincial taxpayers that had to pay the $2 million settlement to hide what the RCMP had done. Pat Fogarty's allusion to the claim that it wasn't the RCMP that fired Allen Dalstrom is further evidence of that cover up. RCMP Bev Busson was the chair. She fired Dalstrom.

According to Mr. Woodall’s opening statements, Allen Dalstrom’s troubles began when he opposed the RCMP’s attempt to shut down a major drug investigation by the OCABC. Mr. Dalstrom was the lead investigator on the probe, called Project Phoenix, which was targeting Hells Angels.

Rob Gordon, head of criminology at Simon Fraser University, said if Dalstrom’s allegations are true, and key Hells Angels members escaped justice because of police infighting, the provincial government needs to take a hard look at how B.C. is policed.

“It’s outrageous,” he said. “And no professional police service anywhere else on the face of the earth would tolerate it.” Gordon said the current patchwork of RCMP and municipal police in Metro Vancouver simply isn’t working. Gordon added that he suspects Phoenix isn’t the only B.C. investigation that’s been derailed by police turf wars. “If there was an inquiry into all of this, we’d probably find a lot more,” he said. It’s time that we have a very thorough look at the issue of regional policing,” he said.

Project Pheonix never went to trial because they thought it wasn't in the "public's" best interest to air all this dirty laundry. To show how vindictive and controlling the RCMP administration could be in preventing an organized crime case going to trial.

I may be naive and I may be cynical but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Yet I do believe in the three strike rule. The RCMP scuttled Operation Phoenix and the provincial gang task force called OCABC. Strike one. Then the RCMP through Richard Barszczewski stopped an investigation against the Hells angels dead after 2 1/2 tons of cocaine were discovered aboard the Western Wind. Strike two. Then Pat the Buffoon Fogarty has the brazen audacity to make the amazingly absurd statement to the press that the Hells angels are no longer a threat in BC. Strike three you're out!

There is no reason Operation Phoenix can't proceed. The evidence has been collected. We don't care what the RCMP did to stop that investigation. Stopping it let's them accomplish their misguided goal. Proceeding with it is in the public's best interest. Suppressing it is not. BTW I'm told one of the three patch members that were targeted in Operation Phoenix was the ridiculous Weird Hal Porteous.

I think we should preserve the RCMP. If Jim Chu won't take the commissioner's job then Robert Paulson should get the job. Barbara George is dishonest.

However, I do not think the RCMP should be in charge of investigating the Hells Angels or be in charge of the gang task force any more. After three hugely successful attempts to stop cases against the Hells angels going to trial, their misdeeds have proven they should not be in charge of those investigations and the authority over the gang task force should be returned to the Provinces.

It was an act of Provincial legislation that created OCABC in the first place. That legislation still existed as does OCABC. It has loaned out it's members to the RCMP because of their campaign of dirty tricks to gain control then promote a buffoon who makes sure nothing gets accomplished.

BTW One of the reasons cited by Douglas for firing Dalstrom is that he believed Dalstrom was the “OCA insider” quoted in Julian Sher’s book about the Angels, The Road To Hell, How the Biker Gangs Are Conquering Canada, who said that, when it came to organized-crime investigations, the RCMP had done “f--- all here for 25 years”. So once again we see someone fired for telling the truth. The Ontario Biker Enforcement Unit is successful because the RCMP doesn’t have anything to do with it’s administration.

We survived yet another solar eclipse

Update: Pictures of the solar eclipse on earth from space

CTV posted a video of today's solar eclipse in southern Ontario. Seemingly Niagara Falls was supposed to be a good spot to see it but it was cloudy so City News just filmed darkness covering the city during the eclipse. Vancouver was pouring rain. I heard there were a lot of crazy people saying crazy things about this eclipse and I didn't understand any of it.

It made me think of neanderthal days when people were afraid of things like this because they didn't understand them. But we do understand them so I don't understand why anyone was concerned. As a kid I was interested in astronomy so I'd try and get a tinted glass to watch them. They said you could also poke a pinhole in a piece of cardboard and watch the reflection of the solar eclipse but that was kind of anticlimactic. Now we can just watch it on YouTube.

Someone tried to explain the frenzy to me and said all the power was supposed to go out. I was like why? Then they said well this one is different because it's not an eclipse with the moon and sun it's one with another planet. I was like OK stop right there. We have the earth, the sun and the moon. How is another planet going to get between us and the sun? Well this one's supposed to be an alien planet that moves. I was like tell me you don't believe that. That is ridiculous.

I did hear a funny video where someone asked Alexa if we were going to die during the eclipse and Alexa said yes unfortunately then quoted some ridiculous website. Here's the problem. The mainstream media has being lying to us since Covid. Now some people are starting to believe really crazy things. Like QAnon or the flat earth theory. My daughter tells me I'm supposed to be nicer to people who believe in the flat earth theory but I can't. It's f*cking stupid.

It's like humoring someone who identifies as a cat or a dog. It's ridiculous. I'm not doing you any favors by humoring you. I can't have a conversation with you about anything because your credibility is lost in space. I'm sorry. I can't do that. I can't help you and I'm not going to encourage your delusion. I see QAnon as a psyop. The CIA created QAnon to try and lead truthers astray. They try and convince people to believe crazy things to discredit them.

Once they've hooked you on a delusion they say to the rest of the world, see those anti vaxxers or Trump supporters are so crazy they believe in a flat earth. They do that so regular people won't listen to anything they have to say. Even if they say something else that's true. Certainly there has to be a gray area. People are allowed to disagree. It's just that some of the crazy claims are so crazy we should stay away from them completely. Seek the truth and shun the extremes.

The National Post vs Rebel News

Speaking of how the main stream media mergers suck, there has been a new twist in the National Post's attack on Rebel News and the freedom of the press. July 28th it was reported that the National Post banned two reporters from Rebel News from the Alberta legislation press gallery. This was shocking for two reasons. The National Post used to be right wing. How can a newspaper ban a competitor from reporting on an event?

Rebel News explained that the National Post was bought out by Post Media News. That explains everything. Everything Post Media News touches turns to sh*t. As I explained, the National Post was created by Conrad Black who was a right wing media tycoon buying up all the newspapers in Canada. As I explained, that's the problem with media mergers. Once all the media outlets are owned by one entity, all you have to do is change the ownership then you change the direction of all the news outlets. It's the same with mercenary armies. Once you change the ownership you change the moral direction of the army. The clone wars have begun.

Rebel News is now explaining that "It’s bizarre that our right to send journalists to the Legislature depends on the permission of a snobby little club of obscure, left-wing reporters called the Alberta Legislature Press Gallery. But for reasons that no-one can remember, they’re in charge of granting security passes to the Legislature. And two weeks ago, they used that power to ban their main competitors." However, " five years ago when Postmedia bought out its competitors (so now they own both the Edmonton Journal and the Edmonton Sun; and both the Calgary Herald and the Calgary Sun), they made a legal promise not to engage in anti-competitive behaviour."

After Rebel News sued the National Post for breach of trust, they caved and pulled all their reporters from the Alberta legislature. It is, as Shelia Gunn Reid describes, sour grapes but it goes far beyond that. Revenue from the newspaper industry in Canada is continually decreasing. Post Media News has not been able to adapt to the digital presence so their one trick pony practice of buying up competitors and eliminating them is destroying their own industry.

The National Post wrote an article rightfully citing the Boyd report which states that "“Media organizations and individuals should not be denied accreditation strictly on the basis of their point of view. Whoever decides on issues of accreditation must also take the evolving realities of new media into account.” Yet that is exactly what the National Post did so their lawyers told them the case law convicts them. They go on to say "It’s a shame the Alberta Legislative Press Gallery then failed to take its conclusions to heart. Until it does, Postmedia will withdraw its reporters from the gallery, effective immediately." That is what doesn't make sense. They are the ones that broke the rule. As Shelia Gunn Reid said, the National Post is complaining about something they broke which feeds their credibility meltdown.

Post Media Trash refers to Rebel Media as "Ezra Levant’s obnoxious online news site, which has been home to a succession of cranks and bigots since its inception." That's not just sour grapes that's ridiculous. It is misrepresentation to the point of defamation. Let's compare that sinister snub with how they defamed a panel of American front line doctors who held a press conference in Washington. The National Post report on the event and twisted it right out of the Twilight Zone straight into the realms of intergalactic space. That kind of malicious misrepresentation destroys their credibility. No wonder their revenues continue to plummet.

It's interesting to note that while they defame Rebel and blame the press gallery for a problem they created, they throw in a sinister video about how teachers in Ontario are afraid to go back to work over the COVID fake news. Their perpetual propaganda has a purpose.

Rex Murphy and Conrad Black are indeed the only ones worth reading in the National Post. That is why their own journalists are attacking Rex Murphy. Rex Murphy, to my knowledge, has never had a reputation for being right wing. Not like Conrad Black had. Rex Murphy has always had a reputation for being competent and credible. His Youtube channel is worth watching.

Regional Police force

In dealing with gang violence there has been debate about the formation of a Regional Police Force since criminals move between police jurisdictions. That certainly makes sense. In fact criminals also move between regions so why not consider a National Police force?

Yeah that’s the ticket. In keeping with the historical framework of Canadian heritage let’s call it the Royal Canadian Mountain Police. Oh right, we already have a national police force.

The debate is contentious since no one wants to give up power. City police are unionized, the RCMP is not. That’s just one factor. I do see benefits in letting police officers from one city being permitted to transfer to another city to avoid burnout. People can only patrol East Van for so long before getting discouraged and frustrated. Yet it’s all problematic.

We need cooperation between the forces and public accountability. We have seen petty politics rise in dealing with investigations that cross policing boundaries. We need to rise above this. We also need to maintain or improve public accountability. I’m still very concerned with RCMP official Richard Barszczewski stopping charges against the Hells Angels from proceeding in Canada.

I’m told the new Solicitor General is an advocate for a Regional Police force. Although problematic it is possible. However, criminals also cross national boundaries and there is no need to merge our police force with other countries. We simply need to cooperate with them.

Likewise, there is no reason city police forces cannot cooperate with each other in the formation of a Regional Gang Task Force like the B.E.U. in Ontario. Creating a Regional Police force will not address the judicial Reform we need in BC where the federal laws are administered differently here than they are in other provinces nor would it force the judges in BC to recognize criminal organization legislation. Talk is indeed cheap and actions still speak louder than words.

Just because you're'old, doesn't make you old school

A lot of people with credibility talk about what it was like to be old school back in the day. When others without credibility echo the same sentiments, I get suspicious. I have stated my position on Walter Stadnick quite clearly. My position has not changed. I don't like him and I don't trust him.

George Christie and Ralph Natale were old school. Wally Stadnick was not. As I said before, Walter Stadnick is not from Quebec. He is an Anglophobe from Hamilton. Jerry Langton is a credible journalist from Hamilton who went on to New York City. He wrote a book called Fallen Angel: The Unlikely Rise of Walter Stadnick. Why do you think he states the unlikely rise? Wally was a 5' 4" weasel with small man syndrome who sucked up to Mom Boucher. He rose to power because he was a relentless backstabbing politician.

Before I left Facebook, Michael Green made a post supporting Walter Stadnick. Tony B was quick to say thanks Micheal. I didn't out Tony, he did that himself. Now he is lying and claims that he is a *former* Hells Angel from the US living in Canada to throw people off. He's quick to brag about his *former* affiliations with the Hells Angels and his pal Mom Boucher but all of a sudden he doesn't want people to know who he is. Nobody in TBM wants to kill him. They've all left the life. Nobody in the game wants to kill him either because they simply don't care about him.

Tony B doesn't want people in TBM to know who he is because I posted a link to Jerry Langton's book. Tony B wants people in TBM to fear him when he trolls them on facebook and yells at them. He doesn't want people in TBM to know behind the keyboard he's a 5' 4" loser that nobody listens to. Tony B wants to use TBM to bully people and I cannot support that.

In my opinion he hasn't left the life. When he trashes the current members of the Hells Angels in Quebec, he isn't talking about what George Christie and Ralph Natale are talking about. Wally is talking about the new generation that hates Mom Boucher and the fact that he was an armed rapist. That is what Wally is referring to. Walter Stanick is in Montreal hiding behind Salvatore to help Mom Boucher get back in the game. He's not there to promote old school values.

Tony B already successfully poisoned Michel against the Rock Machine. Now he wants to use Micheal to help promote Mom Boucher. Little T's new name is Poison Ivy because he's a little girl and every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie. Go back to Ontario where you belong. Quebec doesn't like you because they don't respect you - for good reason.

Surrey Girls make the news - Update

Well the new "Surrey" chapter of the Hell Angels made the news. Kim Bolan posted a picture of the Surrey Girls from an online memorial and it is indeed rather comical. They obviously used photoshop to cut and paste Larry Amero's head into the picture since he's in jail back east. His body is missing so they just have his head floating in mid air beside the other tools. He's pretty well built in real life from all the steroids he's taken but the picture makes him look like a bobblehead. Figures they'd turn their poster boy into a bobblehead after he got busted.

Out of respect to Larry's Godson I promised I wouldn't make fun of Larry any more. His Godson after all is the new Dali Lama for the gangland world. I can't say anything more now but I'm sure the day will come when you'll read all about it. I don't have a problem with Little Ryan. At least he isn't pretending to be something he isn't like the others. He's a better rapper than Weird Hal Porteous that's for sure. Randy Jones is obviously the brains of the operation.

I don't really have beef with Randy since he's just a businessman. Except for the all the cocaine he keeps bringing back from the US to be sold here as crack. I hate crack. Sell that sh*t somewhere else not on our block. We are the ones that have to live here since you all don't. The Surrey girl chapter isn't even from Surrey. They are from Whiterock and Langley.

The chapter is officially called West Point but I refuse to use that name since these clowns are everything that the real West Point stands against. That's why I call them the Surrey Girls instead. Kim Bolan is reporting that "West Point was supposed to be based in Surrey, but RCMP Asst. Commissioner Bill Fordy said at the time he would block any attempt the group made to open a clubhouse in his city. So West Point started holding its regular church meetings upstairs from a Langley pub."

Bill Fordy is so full of sh*t. What's the dancing monkey gonna do if the Hells Angels open a clubhouse in Surrey? Dance naked with toilet paper set on fire crammed up his ass again? No heterosexual male wants to see that. I guess that's his version of the Pee Wee Herman. Personally I prefer Joeski Love's version. Meeting up top a pub in Langley. Yeah right. If they were meeting in Langley they'd meet at the Whiterock clubhouse which is in Langley.

They are far more likely meeting at Tbarz in Surrey. They changed the name of Tbarz to Shakerz so it doesn't get seized in the US under proceeds of crime but nobody is that stupid. Nothing has changed. The picture at the top is of them doing karaoke at Shakerz last Saturday night. They also posted a video of their coming out party on Youtube. A Hells Angels associate was stabbed at Shakerz after the name change.

Since Randy Jones is also the name of a member of the Village People, instead of calling him the Walrus we're gonna just call him Priscilla instead since he has to babysit all those drag queens. Sorry Priscilla, the Rocky Horror Picture Show is still way better.

That picture Kim posted is more like a picture of the ten little Indians. First Larry disappears after he got shot in Kelowna, then Bjorn dies on a houseboat in the Okanagan. Who's next?

Kim reported that the Hells Angels had a large turnout for the funeral with numerous puppet clubs in attendance. The first puppets she mentioned in attendance were the Throttle Lockers. We remember them from Kelowna. Bob Cox was the president. His son Norm was a full patch Kelowna Hells Angel. After Norman got involved in a highschool beef at Rutland high school and punched Dain Phillip's son in the head Dain chased Norm who is a lot smaller than Dain in his car. Norm was pissed he had to run and hide from Dain so he got his roommate fellow Kelowna Hells Angel Robert Thomas the larger petty thief from Ontario along with his father Bob from the Throttle Lockers and several loser associates to gang up on Dain.

Robert Thomas confronted Dain with a baseball bat and a car load of weasel puppets and shouted out So you wanna f*ck with the Hells Angels?! Dain was unarmed, raised his hands in the air and said he just wants to talk. Thomas hit him full power with the baseball bat in the leg and Dain didn't budge. After he knocked Dain down by hitting him in the head with the baseball bat the scared weasels jumped out of the car with hammers and beat Dain to death while he was on the ground. Real brave. That's the throttle Lockers legacy. B*tch ass weasels.

The Shadow club is beside Gus' shop in Surrey. At least Gus is from here. You don't see him hanging out with the preppy little Surrey Girls. The Jesters clubhouse is on Scott Road. Don't get me started on those geriatric clowns. Their logo literally is a clown. I kid you not. What was the Devil's Army doing there? The Devil’s Army clubhouse got shut down by the city on Vancouver Island. What kind of grown men would call themselves the Devil's Army? That is so high school. Pink handgun? My daughter doesn't even use a pink gun. They are the Devils Rejects all right. If the Horsemen Brotherhood is referring to the Teamsters Horsemen, they're awesome. They are a shot in the arm for the dying labour movement. Just what the doctor ordered.

Update: Kim Bolan is on a roll. She is reporting that Villy is wanted for assault and uttering threats. Villy's harmless. He may well be a thug but at least he doesn't carry a pink gun like the Devil's Reject. Villy's not the one importing massive amounts of cocaine like the others. Kim Bolan says he's no longer a member in good standing. What's the matter, isn't he preppy enough for you? He probably hated the Surrey Girls too.

Surrey School Board Candidates

Green Justice is very clear on who they endorse for Mayor and council. I'd like to take the time now to address the candidates for School Trustees. First I'd like to say that anyone on the Surrey First ballot has to go. Their time is done. Putting a road through Hjorth Road elementary is in no one's best interest. Next I'd like to say that I endorse Cindy Dalglish, Charlene Dobie, Mary-Em Waddington and Sonia Andhi of Surrey Students NOW because they are clearly opposed to the road through Hjorth Road elementary. Opposing that is in everyone's best interest.

I endorse Laurae McNally who is an incumbent but she is an independent from Whiterock. She is not a member of Surrey First and is opposed to the road going the road Hjorth Road elementary. I also endorse Lisa Alexis who is an independent. Julia Poole in an independent who is actually an experienced school teacher. Gary Tymoschuk is an incumbent with Surrey First who claims to be oppose to the road through Hjorth Road. That appears to be in conflict with his party. So here are the six Surrey candidates and one Whiterock candidate Green Justice endorses:

Cindy Dalglish - Surrey Students NOW

Charlene Dobie - Surrey Students NOW

Mary-Em Waddington - Surrey Students NOW

Sonia Andhi - Surrey Students NOW

Lisa Alexis - Independent

Julia Poole - Independent

Laurae McNally - Independent for Whiterock

I don't support gender parity. Sometimes the best man for the job isn't a woman. In this case we endorse all women. Who cares? It's the person not the gender we endorse. Having a financial wizard and a former school teacher makes the slate complete. Say goodbye to Surrey First. Give it up for Xena and the Amazon warriors. This is a printable PDF of the endorsement.

On a separate issue, I will now address the new SOGI 123 program for elementary school students. I'm all for equal rights - gay, straight, transgender, it just doesn't matter. However, no one likes religion pushed on them and likewise no one likes alternate lifestyles pushed on them. Gay pride is an oxymoron. Being gay is one thing, being promiscuous is another. Promoting gay promiscuity is just as bad as promoting heterosexual promiscuity. It is cheap and trashy.

Cramming these rainbow crosswalks down our throat is a bit much. If someone is persecuted for their sexual orientation, that is wrong. Likewise if someone is persecuted for their religious beliefs that is also wrong. Both are prohibited under the Canadian Charter of Rights.

Tragically the Supreme Court of Canada just threw away the Canadian Charter of Rights and has discriminated against law school grads from Trinity Western University. Neither the state nor the court has the jurisdiction or the authority to tell me what kind of covenant I can and cannot make. They do not have the right to tell me what I can and cannot believe. That crosses the line.

Recently Doug Ford rose to power in Ontario in response to leftist extremism cramming gender neutrally down young kids throats and the people said enough is enough. Talking about using condoms with high school students is very different then cramming gender neutrality on young elementary school students. This new SOGI 123 program the NDP has come out with is insane. Consensus has fallen. I do not support that. It boils down to confused adults teaching children to be confused. That's just not right. Kids need to feel loved and wanted. They don't need to be pushed into making decisions that will adversely affect them for the rest of their lives. Caitlyn Jenner is to be accepted but he / she is certainly not a role model. Just say'n.

Caitlyn Jenner was a man who became a woman yet still prefers to have sex with women. Do you really think other women will feel comfortable sharing the same washroom with him? I think not. Telling elementary school kids there is no such thing as gender is wrong.

Police on Guard celebrate Convoy's 3rd anniversary

Police on Guard made a blog post sharing a video commemorating the 3rd anniversary of the Tuckers Convoy to Ottawa in protest of lock downs and vaccine mandates.

Someone recently posted a video of an Edmonton cop being a dick to a woman with a service dog on her own property. I said it reminded me of that viral video of two female cops in Calgary awkwardly taking down a peaceful citizen who was simply ice skating outdoors without a mask on. Several Police on Guard members said that video made them want to get involved and resulted in the creation of Police on Guard.

Well the Police on Guard's tribute video actually starts off with that Calgary video clip I mentioned. This brings us to law enforcement and the Canadian Charter of Rights.

Canadian Law enforcement officers swear an oath to defend the Charter of Rights. Every time they make an arrest they have to Charter someone. They have to tell the suspect they have the right to retain and instruct counsel without delay. When I was with the Guardian Angels we had to say the same thing when we made a citizens arrest in Canada.

The right to legal representation and a fair trial is a fundamental right within the Canadian Charter of Rights. There are many other rights protected by the Charter as well. Free speech and the right to lawful assembly is one. Mobility rights are another.

The Canadian Charter of Rights is the highest law of the land. When a federal, Provincial or Municipal government makes a law that violates the Canadian Charter of rights, that law is illegal. Law Enforcement officers swear an oath to defend the Charter of Rights not a lesser law that violates the Charter.

That's pretty much the Police on Guard's gig and I completely support it. I realize that criminals hate all cops. I get it. Yet every civilized society has laws to keep the peace and maintain order. If you can steal from me, I can steal from you. If you can murder me, I can murder you and anarchy is the result.

I also realize a lot of law biding citizens hate power tripping cops that enjoy bullying people like the Edmonton cop harassing the woman with a service dog. Police on Guard aren't like that. Daniel Bulford isn't. Clay Farnsworth and Chris VandenBos aren't. They are all noble law enforcement officers I respect.

Spooks who work for CSIS or the CIA try to infiltrate all political movements to promote extremism and hate for law enforcement. If a political movement has the police on their side, CSIS and the CIA see that as dangerous so they try to infiltrate those movements to prevent that from happening.

While the media was actively trying to misrepresent the convoy, an Ontario Police supervisor was cross examined at an inquiry. They asked him what he saw. He said I saw a lot of families with children and I also saw a lot of crest fallen police officers.

He meant he saw a lot of current and former police officers who participated in the protest not to disrupt it but to support it. When he said crest fallen he meant officers who were discouraged with the government's attack on the Charter of Rights.

So what he saw contradicted the image the media and Justin Trudeau were trying to portray. Just as the Convoy was about to arrive in Ottawa, a video went viral of a female police officer in uniform endorsing the Convoy. That really helped preserve the public's confidence in law enforcement. Yet she was severely disciplined for doing that as were many other police officers who expressed their support for the convoy.

I realize the police are supposed to stay neutral at a protest yet police officers, like doctors, nurses and firemen all have a right to hold and express their political opinions on their own time. Perhaps she shouldn't have made the video in uniform. That was a minor error. The truth is the government punished her for holding what Justin Trudeau referred to as unacceptable views which was outrageous and offensive. If you disagree with Justin Trudeau's violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights you hold unacceptable views. I think not.

Some police officers were disciplined for donating to the Convoy. That was an outrageous violation of the Charter as was freezing bank accounts of people who donated to the convoy. That defiant violation of the Charter of Rights was the very reason the convoy was necessary.

Detective Helen Grus was severely disciplined for simply inquiring about the vaccination status of the mothers whose infants died after a spike in infant deaths. One would think that was a reasonable question an investigator would ask. The witch hunt to destroy her has been insane

Donald Best, a retired Toronto Police detective is covering that case closely. He has quite a history himself as an anti corruption whistle blower. So, a salute to the Convoy, Police on Guard and the Canadian Charter of Rights. Je me souviens.
