BC Redd Alert leader shot in East Vancouver

Global reported that one man was in the hospital and two people were arrested following a shooting in Vancouver Wednesday August 17th. I reported on it the day after it happened but now I have a source that claims the person shot was the leader of the BC Redd Alert who goes by the name Steele. I'm not sure if that means the UN are making a come back in the DTES but it shows another shooting that is tied to Hells Angels associates involved in the drug trade.

The Bleeding Edge - Update

The Vancouver Province is reporting that "Chinese-born Canadian actress Anastasia Lin will be presenting the Vancouver-made film The Bleeding Edge at the British Parliament in September. The Bleeding Edge is a thriller about forced human organ harvesting in China directed by Peabody Award winner Leon Lee. Lin plays the role of a Falun Gong practitioner who is jailed and tortured in a Chinese labour camp. The film earned Lin a Leo for Best Lead Performance by a Female earlier this year." This is happening now not 500 years ago.

“The film tells the incredible story of the victims of human rights abuse in China … who revealed the most profound vulnerability and courage that human beings can possess,” Lin said in a press release. “Everyone involved … has taken a personal risk to create this film. This screening will hopefully bring awareness to the issue of forced organ harvesting in China which deserves urgent attention from the international community.”

Tuidang.org is reporting that "A new independent film from award-winning director Leon Lee could be one of the most important movies you’ll see this year. The Bleeding Edge is a deeply emotional and powerful film that borders somewhere between a thriller and a piece of investigative journalism. It’s a film about one of the most brutal human rights abuses taking place in the world today: the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. And it’s also a film about responsible business practices, in a world where technology giants hold our security and privacy in the palms of their hands."

Update: The Canadian Press is reporting that "Justin Trudeau has officially submitted Canada's application to join a controversial new international infrastructure bank led by China." God help us. Justin Trudeau won't.

UFC in Vancouver - Update

Today's Vancouver Province mentioned that there is a UFC in Vancouver Saturday night at Rogers Arena. I had no idea. Sportsnet is reporting that it's the fourth time the UFC has been in BC. I've fallen behind in the latest UFC news. Last I remember was all the drama about hosting a MMA event here. Glad to see we can put that all behind us now.

Sounds like Saturday's venue is something worth supporting. The Vancouver Province is reporting that Surrey’s Jeremy Kennedy is making his UFC debut. Who - ah! Surrey What?! He's even gonna be unarmed. What will they think of next? Let's get ready to rumble....!

Update: Jeremy Kennedy wins a unanimous decision over Alessandro Ricci. After fight interview.

Exclusive Interview with George Christie

I recently found out that George Christie, long time President of the Hells Angels Ventura Chapter, was out in bad so I reached out to him and asked if he would do an interview. I can tell you one thing - this guy is the real deal. There have been other fly by night flashes in the pan that I refused to endorse. This guy I do endorse. Completely. He is what they meant when they made up the term old school. These new kids on the block have no idea what old school is simply because they've never been to school. We look forward to hearing more from him.

They falsely accused him of cooperating with law enforcement after he left so he wrote a new book that comes out September 20th 2016 to set the record straight.

So when and where did you first join the Hells Angels?

I came around the Los Angels Hells Angels in the mid seventies, in 1977 I became president.

What was your involvement with the Ventura chapter?

I along with another member started the Ventura Hells Angels in 1978, and was president till 2011.

What is your new book about?

My book is about my introduction into the outlaw lifestyle, tenure as a leader in the Hells Angels and my departure from the club.

What is the history channel series about?

The History Channel show, Outlaw Chronicles was about my adventures in the outlaw motorcycle world.

LA is pretty much the centre of the world as far as gangs go. New York may well have invented gangs but LA certainly perfected them. The Mongols are huge in Southern California. What was it like being a leader of the Hells Angels with so many rivals around?

Being a leader in Southern California taught me the art of negotiation. I was at the first confrontation we had with the Mongols, that was 1977 and really the beginning of a war that still exists to this day. I watched them become one of the premier outlaw motorcycle clubs on this planet. I think all they wanted was respect and no one can say they haven’t earned it.

It has been said that you and Sonny Barger had different styles of leadership. Do you care to comment on that? Was he the one that had you put out in bad standing after so many years of faithful service?

Sonny and I had not only had different leadership styles, but different visions as leaders.

Have you ever cooperated with law enforcement?

I have never cooperated with law enforcement or had conversations with L.E. that put anyone's freedom in jeopardy. Anyone who has been in a leadership position in all likelihood has had conversations with cops, that doesn’t make them a rat.

Do you know of Ruben Cavazos aka Doc? Do you think he cooperated with law enforcement?

I know Doc, but I think that question should be addressed to the Mongols.

What is your opinion on the criminal organization status of the Hells Angels?

The Hells Angels are not a criminal organization, but have members that have been found guilty of criminal acts. But so have politicians, cops, attorneys, etc.

Have you ever heard of TBM Fresh Start? Would you be interested in starting something like that in LA?

I have heard of different fresh start programs, and would share my experiences and views with participants, but have no interest in starting a program like that at this point in my life. I am exploring a new TV show concept that would focus on the justice system, but I am not at liberty to go any deeper on that subject at the moment.

Here's a quote from George Christie's new book:

"People confuse the outlaw and the criminal. Some outlaws commit crimes, but the real outlaw isn’t a criminal by trade. He’s someone who refuses to live by society’s established norms of behavior. He has an internal code and answers only to his own sense of honor and right and wrong. The outlaw doesn’t conform; he rebels. He doesn’t accept; he questions. In the end, the outlaw might change and adapt, but he bends for no man and won’t let his life be defined by someone else. Jesse James was an outlaw but so was Albert Einstein. I’ve been many things - father, son, husband, leader, brother, and friend - but through it all, I was always an outlaw."

George Christie's new book Exile on Front Street: My life as a Hells Angel and Beyond will be released September 20th 2016. You can preorder it now online. Peace.

Businesses in Surrey feel less safe

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that "An extensive new survey of businesses in the Surrey city core suggests more than ever are feeling unsafe. Every year since 2006, the Downtown Surrey BIA safety interns survey local ground-level businesses about their experiences with safety. This year, 205 businesses completed the survey and it uncovered a significant sense of pessimism on the part of businesses as compared to last year, according to the report. A total of 29 per cent of respondents felt the area had become less safe (29 per cent) the most ever in the audit’s history."

"Social services were a controversial topic. When asked how social services in the area made them feel, while about 35 per cent felt less safe and noted that they attract unsavoury people to the area and served as a magnet for disorder, bringing in crime." No kidding. "Forty-five per cent of respondents wanted to see more police and security, when asked how the area’s safety could be improved, specifically foot and bike patrols. 'Get out of the car; sitting here does nothing,' wrote one respondent. Businesses also want to see greater responsibility and proactive engagement from the RCMP. The report recommendations include advocating for an RCMP “business liaison team” to do foot and bike patrols; working on the discarded needle issue."

“A lot of it is social disorder based, not necessarily full crimes, but the type of thing you see on the streets that make you feel unsafe - so discarded needles, people loitering, drug use,' said Dibnah. 'We’re not entirely sure if that is going up or if it’s just their perceptions. But regardless of whether or not it’s happening, if that’s their perception, that’s their reality.”

It is a forest fire of addiction that is brurning out of control because we are pouring gasoline on the fire instead of water.

Does Justin Trudeau care about human rights?

Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver and across Canada are rallying this week to urge Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to raise the issue of forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong prisoners of conscience during his upcoming visit to China on August 30th.

VANCOUVER RALLY:

When: Thursday Aug. 25 at 12 noon

Where: North side of Vancouver City Hall (Cambie St. @ 10th Ave.)

Does Justin Trudeau care about human rights? Time will tell.

Update: The Canadian Press is reporting that "Justin Trudeau has officially submitted Canada's application to join a controversial new international infrastructure bank led by China." God help us. Justin Trudeau won't.

Biker conflict in Fort Mac rekindles

Well the fire is out but the biker conflict in Fort McMurray has rekindled. The Fort McMurray Today is reporting that "Fort McMurray fire officials are investigating the cause of a Monday evening fire that left a Manning Avenue building damaged and is forcing the Wood Buffalo Food Bank to throw out a significant amount of food."

Local sources claim this shop was started by Steve Szomszed (Red Deer nomad) and Kristian MacEachren. Word is that MacEachren is now a HA prospect. Seemingly this is in retaliation for last Saturday when 20 Hells Angels and Syndicate members jumped three Warlocks.

Sonny Barger rejoins Oakland chapter

Sonny Barger is announcing that he has officially rejoined the Oakland chapter and is heading home with the pimps and baby killers. That's where his pal Otis Garrett is from. Otis was convicted of running a prostitution ring for the Hells Angels out of a brothel called the Love Nest in San Francisco. Later Otis was convicted of ordering the murder of Margo Compton and her twin seven year old daughters for testifying against him. Sonny attended his pal's trial and later recognized him as a member of the Filthy Few Fellowship in the Big House Crew.

Sonny Barger claims that he founded the Oakland chapter along with a few others. Just for the record the Hells Angels started in San Bernardino not Oakland. George Wethern was the former Vice-President of the Oakland Chapter. In his book A Wayward Angel he claims: "The Oakland Angels began issuing new charters and assisting chapters set up their own drug operations. The additions were designed to contribute to our image and business concerns, by providing a drug route link, manufacturing a drug, supplying chemicals, or distributing drugs in an untapped area."

Fast forward to 1995 when Gregory Domey, former president of the Salem Chapter of the Hells Angels, and former East Coast President of the organization pled guilty to multiple drug charges and was sentenced to 20 years in prison under the "Drug Kingpin" statute.

According to court records, Domey and his codefendants sold cocaine and methamphetamine, from various locations including their Hells Angels Club House headquarters in Lynn, which was protected by members who served as armed guards and by surveillance cameras. Domey and his codefendants sold the drugs to undercover agents and confidential informants on dozens of occasions, many of which were electronically recorded and/or observed by surveillance agents.

Sonny Barger is no American legend. History has recorded that.

Maple Ridge Drug House Protest

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that local residents in Maple Ridge held a protest about a proposed drug house the city plans on building beside a day care. The city wants to turn the Quality Inn into a homeless shelter. Normally that would be a great idea. However what they are planing is not a homeless shelter it's just another drug house like the Front Room and the Lookout in Surrey.

"Lyanne Alexander says if a proposed homeless shelter opens beside her Maple Ridge daycare, she’ll have to close. 'We have 45-plus families in our centre and 55-plus children,' said the co-owner of Meadow Ridge Centre for Childcare on at 21409 Lougheed Highway. 'We’d have to close. We’ve got feedback from families that if it goes through, they’ll go elsewhere. I don’t blame them. If I had children here, I’d do the same.' Alexander said the low-barrier centre would be built beside their facility in an empty lot that’s already frequented by homeless and drug-addicted people. 'We see a lot of homeless people there, drug users, condoms. If it was a built facility, it would be magnified hugely from what we’ve seen,' she said."

Turning homeless shelters into government run drug houses is socially irresponsible.
