Burnaby RCMP patrol car show with assault rifles

Vancouver is Awesome is reporting that "The presence of heavily armed Burnaby RCMP officers sparked criticism from people at a community event in Burnaby this month – and not for the first time. When Dawn and Rob Danzel brought their three-year-old daughter to the Edmonds City Fair & Classic Car Show on July 21, they were shocked to see RCMP officers with semi-automatic rifles patrolling the area."

This is why Surrey needs to form a municipal police force. The RCMP do not listen to the people who pay their wages. Fire them. Clearly Burnaby needs to form a municipal police force next.

The controversial Hong Kong memorial wall at SFU is NOT controversial

Post Media Propaganda is reporting that "At Simon Fraser University, a controversy over three “Lennon Walls” — fixtures where people can post notes of support or inspirational wishes — shows how tensions related to increasingly violent protests in Hong Kong may get harder to manage on Canadian campuses."

“'There are currently two walls,' said Joel Wan, founder of Vancouver Hong Kong Political Activists, a weeks-old, student organization whose Facebook page has posts about the situation at SFU. The original Lennon Wall, located outside the main Bennett Library, was 'repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, with post-it notes taken down. It’s gone for now,' said Wan."

On Wednesday, some students set up a temporary, second Lennon Wall with post-it notes at a booth. Plans for a third, more permanent Lennon Wall to be established Wednesday were scrapped after assessing security concerns." That is absurd.

There is nothing controversial about setting up a memorial wall for the struggle in Hong Kong. Tearing that down is equivalent to desecrating Jewish graves or a Holocaust memorial. It is no different then tearing down a Tiananmen square massacre memorial.

The problem is the Confucius Institute which has absolutely nothing to do with promoting the teachings of Confucius. In fact it does the exact opposite. The cultural revolution in China was not a cultural revolution it was a cultural genocide. UBC can see what the Confucius Institute really is. A front for the Communist Party of China. The Communist Party of China promotes Mandarin only. They are crushing Cantonese and democracy in Hong Kong and around the world.

Communism is an abomination. Post Media News is a farce. That is the state of our union.

Richmond Shooting

CTV is reporting that "A man in his 30s is in hospital following a shooting in Richmond that may be linked to a vehicle found burning in Vancouver an hour later. In a statement the next day, Mounties said they were called to the CF Richmond Centre at around 10:20 p.m. Monday."

"When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transferred to hospital for injuries that the Richmond RCMP described as serious but not life-threatening. The victim has not been publicly identified, but police said he is known to them and that the incident is believed to be targeted."

Van carrying 270kg of crystal meth crashes into parked police cars in Sydney, Australia

The Guardian is reporting that "New South Wales police have hailed one of the “easiest” drug busts in history after a driver allegedly crashed a van carrying $200m worth of the drug ice into parked cop cars outside a station in Sydney’s north-west. The 26-year-old man, from Berala, was facing three charges including drug trafficking and negligent driving, NSW police said. The crash happened on Monday at 10.30am outside Eastwood police station and officers said the Toyota HiAce did not stop. Officers heard a loud bang and checked video surveillance.

One of the police vehicles – a Holden Commodore – was written off while the other was slightly damaged. Police caught up with the man in the nearby suburb of Ryde, searched the van and seized 273kg of methylamphetamine, known as ice, which has an estimated potential street value of more than $200m." Sounds like the driver was using some of the product.

Colin Lamontagne sentenced to 9 years

The Naniamo News is reporting that "Nearly beating a man to death and having close to $1 million in hard drugs earned a prolific Nanaimo criminal nine years behind bars. Colin Lamontagne was sentenced at the Supreme Court of BC in Nanaimo on Friday, July 19 for the November 2016 incident. He previously pleaded guilty to tying up and beating a drug addict over unpaid debt. A taser was used on the man in a Ninth St. home."

We remember Colin. He certainly isn't notorious so I wish the media would stop over using that term. He was with the Veterans MC but they kicked him out after his first drug charge. He has had several charges since then.

As to the most recent drug charge Colin was found with a significant amount of drugs packaged for sale, including heroin containing fentanyl and carfentanil as well as two 20 litre buckets of the date-rape drug GHB. That spells sh*tbag all on it's own but there's more. "Lamontagne was convicted in 2018 to four years in prison for the 2015 manslaughter of a friend in Victoria. When his friend suffered a severe drug-induced reaction, Lamontagne wrapped him up, beat him and tried to subdue him with a headlock, rather than call for medical help."

The guy needs to spend some time with Dr Phil so he does.

Two Israeli criminals executed in Mexico

Israel 24 News is reporting that "Two Israelis shot dead in Mexico City were involved in money laundering and had links to local mafias, Mexico's government said on Friday." BBC is reporting that "Israel's embassy in Mexico said the men had criminal records in both Israel and Mexico, while Israeli local media has claimed Sutchi was well-known within Israel's criminal underworld."

You guessed it. News Now Vegas and the Borderland Beat are both referring to Sutchi as an ex Mossad agent. No big surprise there. Mossad, the CIA and drug trafficking. They all go together.

Yesterday with Himesh Patel, Lily James and Ed Sheeran

I just saw the movie Yesterday with Himesh Patel, Lily James and Ed Sheeran. It was awesome. It's light, positive and meaningful. Makes one reflect on what success means and what's really important in life. When does Hollywood ever do that? Well done.

Gabe Khouth dies in Port Moody fatal motorcycle accident

Vancouver is Awesome is reporting that "Once Upon a Time actor Gabe Khouth has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash in Port Moody Tuesday afternoon. In a video message, Khouth’s brother Sam Vincent confirmed the death and encouraged fans of the 46-year-old actor to leave flowers and messages at the southwest corner of Queens and St. Johns streets." The Tri city News is reporting that "The Port Moody memorial pays tribute to Khouth’s love for motorcycles. Several media reports said Khouth suffered a heart attack while riding his motorcycle. However, the Port Moody Police Department told The Tri-City News that they could not confirm the cause of death until the coroner service had completed its investigation."

Protests as candidates banned from Russian election

The New York Times is reporting that " Lines of riot police officers in body armor and helmets blocked the streets of central Moscow on Saturday, arresting more than 1,000 demonstrators - chasing some of them down alleys - to blunt a protest over the fairness of coming city elections."

“We love Russia! They love money!” protesters chanted, a reference to widespread anger over government corruption. Others sat in the streets, awaiting arrest and reading copies of the Constitution. The spark for Saturday’s protest was a decision by election authorities to bar several opposition candidates from running for Moscow’s City Council, asserting that they had falsified signatures on petitions to run — a charge the candidates denied."

"An independent monitoring group said 1,067 people were arrested near City Hall, the intended site of the rally, although many never made it there. As in past protests, the authorities began making arrests blocks away so a large crowd could not form."

"Aleksei A. Navalny, the opposition leader who had called the demonstration, was arrested on Wednesday and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Other prominent opposition politicians — including Ilya V. Yashin, Dmitry G. Gudkov and Ivan Y. Zhdanov — were also rounded up before the event and released only late in the evening."

"A post on the Facebook page of Mr. Yashin, a street activist and one of the politicians who was barred from running, said 10 masked police officers had removed him from his apartment in Moscow overnight before the Saturday demonstration." This has happened before.

Although Russia is no longer Communist, it doesn't have a very good reputation for fair elections. In 2015, Boris Nemtsov, the opposition leader to Putin was shot dead.

This brings us back to the movie the November Man with Pierce Brosnan which was a fictional movie based on real life events. The CIA used false flag attacks in Chechnya to help Putin get elected. Trump wasn't guilty of Russian collusion, Hillary Clinton was. She sold them weapons grade uranium for missiles through a Canadian shell company.

Last week the Independent reported that "Thousands of people took to the streets in Moscow over the weekend in what opposition politicians and local media are calling the ‘largest demonstration in recent years’ in Russia. Independent NGO White Counter says some 22,500 people rallied yesterday to protest against the exclusion of dozens of independent candidates from the city council elections. “I haven’t been to such a huge rally since 2012,” tweeted Alexei Navalny, the leader of the opposition, after he attended the protest."

Russian opposition leader ill after exposure to 'undefined chemical'

Update: The Guardian is reporting that "Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny has been hospitalised, with symptoms that one of his doctors said appeared to be “the result of harmful effects of undefined chemical substances”. Navalny was taken to hospital on Sunday morning from jail, where he was serving a 30-day sentence after being arrested last week for calling people to attend an anti-government protest."

England's changing of the guard

England has a new Prime Minister. Boris Johnson has replaced Teresa May. Boris has risen to fame through his Brexit party. Teresa May was a staunch supporter of Brexit. Her resignation does not seem to reflect concerns with her leadership but concerns within her party who where trying to stonewall the process. Boris has been compared to England's Donald Trump. Politics aside they could both use a comb and haircut.

Rex Murphy's thought provoking video on Donald Trump asked What have we learned? Two things in his synopsis strike me. The first is the rightful declaration that the mob's obsession with the Kardashians, Jerry Springer and Hells Kitchen is weird. I concur. In the words of the Black Eyed Peas "What's wrong with the world, mama. People livin' like they ain't got no mamas. I think the whole world's addicted to the drama. Only attracted to the things that'll bring you trauma."

The rise of Boris Johnson and Donald Trump represents the public's mistrust of the status quo. It represents a legacy of broken promises within both parties. In the US, the Democrats obsession with promoting Hilary's evil has failed to produce a positive alternative to Trump making his reelection almost a given. Since presidents can only run two terms in the US, the next thing we need to ask is what are we going to do to drain the swamp in the third term?

I'm a nobody. I'm just one tin soldier who records his dissent before he rides away and let's natural justice take it's course. The State of the Mob concerns me so it does. Just say'n.
