Indigenous woman murdered on Reservation
Global is reporting that "A man is in custody after an alleged homicide on a First Nations reserve near Williams Lake Saturday night. RCMP say members from Williams Lake and Alexis Creek were called to the Toosey Reserve, which sits between the two communities, just after 6 p.m. to assist paramedics. Police say a 33-year-old woman was found suffering from severe injuries, but could not be revived and died at the scene. The nature of those injuries is not being released."
"The man arrested is a resident of the reserve, police said, and remains in custody. No charges have been laid." I'm not sure how that fits in with he genocide model but it is a tragedy nonetheless. We need to stand up against all violence against all women.

Man charged after rapper shot dead in Ottawa
CBC is reporting that "An 18-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of an Ottawa hip-hop artist who was shot and killed Friday night in the ByWard Market. Donald Musselman appeared in court via video from the Ottawa police station Sunday morning. He is charged in the death of 42-year-old Markland Campbell, also known by the stage name Jahiant Jahh." That is messed up. Ya'll need some time with Dr Phil.
The brother was a Rastaman. Why the hell would you have beef with him? Everybody likes Rasta. Bob Marley was a Rasta for God's sake. Markland was a positive and talented musician. The kid who shot him is a nutbar.
The Ottawa Citizen is reporting that "Wiens said Campbell, a 41-year-old father, was shot in the chest and died in surgery. He had left work at the Shaw Centre to rush to his daughter’s aid in the ByWard Market, Wiens said. “He was rushing to defend his 18-year-old daughter’s dignity after she called to say she was being assaulted by a couple of men,” Wiens said.
The RCMP fall short
Once again the RCMP Propaganda machine falls short. This new Teddy Bear poster campaign is absolutely ridiculous. It's as bad as the Free hugs campaign and reveals the double standard. In one breath they are sending out press releases saying the Hells Angels are bad. In the next breath they welcome them into the rat out your rivals program and provide them police protection to sell drugs. Well you aren't fooling anyone. Time to blow the whistle yo.

The Toronto Raptors VS The Golden State Warriors
The fact that the Toronto Raptors have made the NBA finals is certainly big news in Canada. We're all quite stunned actually. They're one game away from winning the whole thing. I like the Warriors. I liked their old logo and theme song. It was from the old movie about the Warriors in New York. I ordered one of their T-shirts back in the day because it was the same theme as Guinness. We Believe.
It must kinda suck for a Canadian team to win the NBA playoffs. Kinda like when an American team wins the Stanley cup which has become an all too common occurrence. Hats off to both teams. The Raptors are playing really well. Even the American commentators admit that. We really liked the Grizzlies when they played out of Vancouver and were sad to see them go. We didn't care that they didn't win. We just liked to see the American teams play.
Anyways, hats off to TO and the Raptors yo. Bring it. Welcome to Jurassic Park.

Vigilante: The Curtis Sliwa Story
They finally put out a documentary about the Curtis Sliwa story called Vigilante. It's available on Itunes as well as Amazon. It is relevant to us because it explains the New York model. The Guardian Angels were a big part of that. They helped with the enforcement.
However, the Mollen Commission made it all possible. Another documentary called the Seven Five explains the police corruption in New York at the time which enabled the crack epidemic and all the crime that went along with it that the Guardian Angels were fighting.
Lisa Evers was a big part of what happened. So was Thomas Hunt the New York City secret weapon who moved on to Chicago. So was Paul Martinelli, Sebastian Metz, 3rd Rail and Joe big Bear Sr. These were street soldiers who made a difference. History has recorded that.
No, I'm not suggesting we bring back the Guardian Angels to Surrey. I'm suggesting we confront the police corruption in Surrey that enabled the drug violence in New York, LA and south Seattle. History repeats itself until we learn from it. Curtis' radio show is back up and running in New York.
BYW the Soldiers of Odin are nothing like the Guardian Angels. The Guardian Angels were multicultural. The Soldiers of Odin aren't. The Guardian Angels weren't anti immigration. The Soldiers of Odin are. We weren't rich yuppies form the suburbs who lived with their parents. We were low income kids from the ghetto who stood shoulder to shoulder to fight crime and bigotry.
Moving Forward
Sebastian always used to say that the primary purpose of the Guardian Angels is to be no longer needed. Then he'd laugh and say how many other organizations that you know of have a mission statement that does away with the organization? He meant that the role of the Guardian Angels was to be a role model for society. If everyone cared and did their civc duty, the Guardian Angels would no longer be needed. As we have seen, New York has changed.
Lisa mentioned that people who visit New York now don't remember what it was like. Now New York has a large police presence. Back then it didn't. New York went through a very angry time but they evolved. Other places haven't. Some places in Canada have regressed.
Yet Sebastian was right. If the police simply did their job and if the community supported the police, the Guardian Angels would no longer be needed. Crack is making a come back. Theoretically so could the Guardian Angels. 3rd Rail is a good guy. He could carry the torch after Curtis has passed on. Yet the most proactive solution is to deal with the root of the problem and address that head on - police corruption.
When you examine the crack epidemic that plagued New York City, LA and south Seattle, police corruption is the one common denominator that made it all possible. In New York it was Michael Dowd and the 75th precinct in Brooklyn. In LA it was the Freeway Ricky story. In South Seattle it was the Chuck Pillon story. The CIA corruption is something we can't change but the police corruption is something we can change. That goal is within reach and attaining that goal can make a colossal difference in our communities. I've seen it. Dare to Care yo.
Addressing gun violence with the New York Model
Another gang murder in Saskatoon
Global is reporting that "A Saskatoon judge lifted the publication ban on Leya Paul’s identity and sentenced her to nine years in prison for killing Patrick Dong."
"In October 2016, two months shy of her 18th birthday, Paul was with a group who drove Patrick Dong to an isolated area outside of Saskatoon. Under evening darkness, he was beaten with a crowbar and a bat. Dong ran away for roughly one kilometre before Paul delivered six fatal stab wounds. The victim was left for dead on the side of the rural road. “The death arose as a result of a frenzy that was no doubt fueled by the fact that the participants had been taking methamphetamine and alcohol,” Smith wrote in his decision."
"Court heard how Paul is a gang member. Based on a pre-sentence report and psychological assessment, she is at a high-risk to reoffend and reoffend violently."
A gang member. What gang? The Terror Squad is tied to the Hells Angels. A high risk to reoffend. What is wrong with these people? No respect for the sanctity of life. That means you're a f*ck up. Society does not respect you.
Crystal meth is bad. That's why we should strive to reduce the amount sold on the street. When we do that we also reduce crime. Saskatoon has a huge problem with gang violence and it's all related to the drug trade. Helping people stay addicted feeds the violence and supports organized crime. It's time to try a new approach. Enforcement is one of the four pillars.
"The four-pillar approach deals with people who have an addiction and need treatment, while clearly stating public disorder, including the open drug scene, must be stopped. In short, addiction needs treatment and criminal behaviour needs enforcement."
VW sound system controlled by holographic images
The Star is reporting that "At a meeting on Lake Wörth, Bavaria, Volkswagen's Golf GTI Aurora show car made its world premiere, featuring a completely operational, hologram-controlled sound system in what the brand claims is a world first. The trunk of the new Golf GTI Aurora concept that Volkswagen debuted this week isn't your average luggage compartment. When you lift up the trunk door, you're met with a hologram." You'll find it floating comfortably above a black screen integrated into the floor of the compartment displaying controls for a high-end sound system.
"Unlike with 3D movies – which require audience members to wear a pair of specialised glasses for images to pop out of the screen – the hologram created by the show car requires no additional equipment for viewing. The technology "automatically recognises the user's operating requirements and implements them – making it intuitive and logical to operate." Music controls, volume, and playlists can be selected just by poking the air."
That's pretty cool. Projecting a holographic image is one thing but making that image receptive to touch controls is another. I'm not sure how that would work but it sounds impressive.
No Surrender MC banned in Holland
TBM is reporting that the No Surrender MC has been banned in Holland by the courts just like the Hells Angels and Bandidos. The criminal charges include extortion and money laundering. What ever happened to riding motorcycles without criminal activity? The criminals are destroying the MC movement for everyone else. No L & R there. Just selfishness and greed.

Trudeau's oil tanker ban bill passes senate
The National Post is reporting that "Senators voted on Thursday to save Ottawa’s controversial oil tanker ban, potentially ending a prolonged pushback in the Senate against legislation that has been met with intense criticism by Western provinces and the energy industry." You mean Western Province not Provinces. BC wants to protect the environment, Alberta does not.
Having said that I will once again appeal for calm and try to balance the extremes. On one side we have defiant Alberta arrogance which is completely out of control. On the other side we have a simple desire to support sustainable business. Burning natural gas is good, burning coal is not. Unrefined crude oil is a part of life. Unrefined tar sands bitumen is not.
One minute we have Alberta in our grill saying we have absolutely no say whatsoever about how much oil passes through our port. If oil tanker traffic becomes too congested, too bad we have no say in the matter. They can ship as much tar sands bitumen to China as they want and if there is a spill or collision, then too bad so sad. Alberta won't pay a dime for clean up. That was completely outrageous.
Now the next minute we hear rumblings on a complete oil tanker ban on the coast of British Columbia. I'm like WTF? From one extreme to the other. Alberta's economy would completely collapse. There's no need to create a manufactured emergency.
When Jason d*ckface Kenney said he was going to turn off the taps to BC I was like go f*ck yourself. There's no negotiation after an offensive threat like that. I said if you cut off the taps then we close our port and no oil tankers leave the port of Vancouver. I didn't mean actually do that. I simply stated that would be the natural response to Kenney's outrageously offensive threat. The point of me saying that was to show that Kenney can't cut off the taps to BC because we control the port. That balance of power would then preserve the status quo.
As much as I'm sick and tired of Alberta arrogance, there is no need to completely destroy them. There's no need for that. I will admit that banning tanker traffic would be good for BC in that we could use that oil for domestic consumption and stop getting screwed over by the oil monopoly. Instead of sending that oil to China they could send the unrefined crude through the existing pipeline to Chicago and Detroit. It would be a win win for North America.
China could get their oil from Russia or the US. The only reason they don't is because Canada subsidized their oil for them. We practically gave it to them for less than it costs us to extract and produce it. That was bad business.
Nevertheless, I will once again appeal for calm. Forcing tar sands bitumen on us with no control over the volume and no help for clean up is ridiculous. So is banning all tanker traffic completely. We need to balance the extremes and find a compromise. It really is that simple.
China has stopped buying crude oil from Western Canada after record purchase in 2018

A tonne of cocaine seized off the coast of Portugal
Reuters is reporting that "Police seized over a tonne of cocaine worth some $49 million and arrested seven people aboard a Brazilian fishing boat in a drug bust on the high seas off Portugal backed up by international crime agencies, officials said on Tuesday. Portuguese police discovered 50 cloth sacks full of cocaine, apparently destined for the continental European market, inside a specially designed, hard-to-access compartment of the fishing vessel, a police statement said. The suspects arrested were all foreign nationals aged between 36 and 64, it added. Codenamed “White Sand”, the anti-drug operation began following an exchange of information between Portuguese and Brazilian authorities, and was assisted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Britain’s National Crime Agency."
"In December, a study by Lisbon-based EU drugs agency EMCDDA revealed that new gangs were muscling into cocaine markets in Europe, setting up smuggling networks directly linking producers in Latin America to European consumers."
New gangs were muscling into the CIA's cocaine market so the DEA were quick to stop them.
