Vancouver Rain

Who ever said the sound of rain was soothing? They must not be from around here.

  1. Weirdly enough it's been real easy getting on the golf course the last couple of days??

Show up and be teeing off within 5 minutes.

I find if I put on my earphones and listen to the Turd speak I get so mad I don't even notice the rain. :p

  2. As someone who was born and raised in lower mainland only recently moving East to Ottawa, I truly miss the rain. 15 cm snow and ice rain over the weekend is no fun either lol!

    1. Ah yes, the freezing rain threshold is indeed treacherous. Summer will return.

  3. It would be nice if we could arrange some of the rain to fall in the summer. If it keeps raining, it maybe time to buy a boat. On the other hand, if you've lived here your whole life, you"re used to it. Like the picture

    1. Yeah I'm from here. I'm used to it. I used to say if we didn't do stuff in the rain we wouldn't get anything done because it always rains.

  4. Likewise moved to the interior 10 years ago. 55 years on the lower mainland. Truly miss the rain. Second only to the ocean.

    1. Ah yes, the ocean. I was surprised how green the Caribou region is. It's right beside the Okanagan but the morning fog and dew makes it less dry and much greener.
