Kelowna Cap News is reporting that "One person is dead after a plane crash northeast of Quesnel.
The crash happened Thursday (Aug. 3) at 8:43 p.m. at Bowron Lake, 28 kilometres east of Wells.
The person, who has not been identified, was found dead inside the plane."
I'm told there's a small runway on site and the plane over shot the runway. We'll have to wait for an investigation to determine what happened. Very sad. Beautiful area.
That is too bad. There's been a few I'm the last little while.
