Wallstreet Protests Expand

The US Wall Street protest is expanding across the United States as well as Canada. It started in New York where 700 peaceful protesters were arrested for walking on the street not the sidewalk. A rather disturbing scene in a nation where the Constitution guaranteeing the right to lawful Assembly is the highest law of the land.

I heard news of them planning one for Vancouver and I said what sock exchange? Vancouver doesn't have a stock exchange any more. They disband it because of corruption. It was full of fake pump and dump stocks so they got rid of it. I understand they are planning to occupy the Vancouver Art Gallery instead. Since that occupation won't affect the financial district there's no doubt that occupation could very well last through winter.

There is one point I'd like to make. Although I most certainly don't speak for everyone showing up to protest, this isn't about poor people being jealous of rich people and wanting to share the wealth. This is about the various financial crisis' which has been the result of investment fraud that has required huge tax payer bailouts.

In England there have been massive protests because the money spent on wars of aggression and financial bailouts has created huge deficits just like it has in the United States. They are now on a slash and burn campaign to destroy all public services that took years to build as a result. The primary cause of this chaos is investment fraud. White Collar crime going unpunished. Al Martin discussed it at great lengths in his book the Conspirators.

Michael Moore recently discussed the control and conflict of interest the banking industry has in the government. Henry Paulson was the former CEO of Goldman Sachs and became the US treasury secretary under George W. Bush. Many felt issuing the bank bail out was a huge conflict of interest.

It is clear that the various financial crises are artificially created and are the result of investment fraud as well as money laundering, drug smuggling and arms dealing. That is what was behind the BCCI collapse. If a free market is free, it doesn't require tax payers bailouts. Investment fraud is a serious crime because it wipes out pensions, destabilizes the market and adversely affects the economy.

Meth lab chemicals dumped near school

Someone decided to dump potentially hazardous waste from a clandestine meth lab in a vacant lot near a Langley elementary school last week. Police discovered five 45-gallon drums and another 40 20-litre pails containing more liquid after they spotted a vehicle parked on the property in the 7800 block of 208 Street on Friday, just down the street from Willoughby Elementary School.

The vehicle managed to flee the scene. The Clandestine Lab Response Team determined the liquid was waste from a methamphetamine production lab. Meth labs are way worse than grow ops. Will someone please explain that to Stephen Harper.

BC man nabbed in Alberta for drugs and proceeds of crime

Dustin Plamondon, 24, from Kelowna, B.C. has been charged with possession of a property obtained by Crime over $5,000, and two counts of possession of a substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Canmore RCMP stopped what they believed to be an impaired driver on the Trans Canada highway and seized over $15,000 in funds they say were proceeds from the sale of drugs. Police stopped the rental vehicle near exit 89 and while officers were speaking with the driver, they detected the scent of marijuana.

The driver was placed under arrest and the subsequent search revealed 4.1 grams of marijuana, Oxycodone pills, and a black satchel containing several bundles of cash totaling $15,870.

Canmore Alberta is outside Calgary in Banff on the way from Kelowna. Let's hope the guy wasn't laundering money for another group and is now going to be killed by them. Smoking a blunt and driving is never a good idea. Especially when you have that much cash in the car. Reminds me of that song Because I got High.

I was gonna launder that money until I got high. I was gonna drive my car and drop it off but then I got high. My life is still messed up and I know why. Cause I got high. Because I got high. Because I got high. Who says excessive amounts of thc doesn't destroy a few brain cells. OK maybe they were missing before he got high.

Vagos MC raided in Cali

Hundreds of law enforcement officers swept across seven Southern California counties on Thursday targeting members and leaders of the Vagos motorcycle club, some of whom are accused of crimes including rape and solicitation of murder.

The early morning raids netted at least 12 arrests, drugs and more than 300 weapons, authorities said. Twenty-five others were already arrested, and more than 40 pounds of cocaine and eight pounds of methamphetamine (that would be crystal meth) were seized along with a rocket launcher.

Authorities said some members of the gang, which was founded in the 1960s and has about 500 members worldwide, were involved in a large-scale drug distribution ring. Members would threaten, intimidate or use violence to protect their interests, they said.

I have no problem with the weapons but why the drugs? 40 pounds of cocaine and eight pounds of methamphetamine? That's just more crack and more crystal meth fucking up our community.

Most recently, a Vagos member from Northern California was arrested in connection with the Sept. 23 slaying of Jeffrey “Jethro” Pettigrew, president of the San Jose chapter of the rival Hells Angels, during a shootout at a Nevada casino. Two Vagos members also were wounded in the melee, and a third was shot in the stomach the next morning by a gunman in a passing car.

OK we remember that one. The Hells angels objected to Vagos wearing colours because they think they rule the world and picked a fight. Then when they started losing the fight, homeboy pulls out a gun and starts shooting. Then they lose the gun fight and one of their boys ends up dead. Sounds like self defence to me. Yet banning gang colours is becoming necessary to preserve public safety. Reckless endangerment is not a charter right.

BTW that's Sean Brown on the top left sporting Vagos colours. He was the National President of the Rock Machine in Canada. Until they had a non confidence vote and kicked him out. Now they just trash talk their former brother. What ever happened to Forever RM RM Forever?

The group is from California but is now spreading to Australia and Canada. Vagos fight with the Hells Angels but in Australia they also fight with the Rock Machine. I'm not really sure who the Rock Machine gets along with in Australia. No doubt they'll be fighting Vagos as well as the Hells Angels in Canada now. Back in the day, people joined a gang for protection. Now wearing gang colours is just a target that says shoot me.

Ok so get this. The logo for Vagos is Loki, the Norse god of mischief. Vagos fight with the Hells Angels. Yet Sean Wolfe has the name Loki tattooed on his stomach. First I thought it was his stage name, Lola but someone pointed out to me it was in fact Loki, the god of mischief. So why on earth does a Hells Angel have the logo for the Hells angels enemy tattooed on his stomach? Oops. I guess he'll have to get that one covered up like he did his swallow tattoo. Unless of course they pull a Billy Moore or a Cedric Smith and kill one of their own for unknowingly sponsoring an informant.

Looks like Vagos has made the big screen or at least their logo Loki. Loki is the younger brother of Thor and makes an appearance in the new movie. But get serious in "real" life Loki is supposed to be a liar and a con man. What's with those devil horns?

And they call Christians stupid. What's worse, worshipping an omniscient and omnipotent God with the power to create and to redeem or worshiping a satanic idol who is destined to lose and only has power to destroy and steal? I never understood why on earth anyone in ancient times would worship a golden calf. I mean like how stupid is that? That's something a caveman neanderthal would do who has no idea who he is or why he's here. We are DEVO.

More freakin Nazi's. That's the SS logo again.

Australian Biker's son shot

The son of a member of a local biker gang in Australia called the Finks was shot twice during a home invasion which ransacked the house. Earlier that day the father was in court supporting fellow Finks members who were charged for being involved in a bawl with Hells Angels members at a nightclub earlier this year.

OK let's take a step back. We remember the Finks in Australia. That's because the Hells Angels bribed one of their members named Chris Hudson with a new Harley to patch over and become a Hells Angel. Then they told the Finks to patch over or leave town. The Hells Angels even showed up at a MMA fight with Chris Hudson and a huge fight broke out wherein Chris Hudson was shot.

Obviously the Hells angels are the instigators in this violence. Chris Hudson was the guy who was caught on video pulling an ex girlfriends hair, dragging her outside, throwing her to the ground and kicking her in the head. Later that day he was seen dragging his girlfriend in public. When a Dutch Baker packer and a local lawyer came to her aid, he pulled out a gun and shot all three, emptying the clip into the lawyer as he lay on the ground who was a father of three.

So, here we have the Hells Angels as the instigators of violence. They patched over a local member and tell the original club to join them or leave town. Now we see the Hells angels break a cardinal rule and shoot a guy's son. That is cheap, dirty, pathetic and obscene.

I will add that two wrongs don't make a right. I'm not talking about retaliation for shooting the son. That's a given. I'm talking about the real reason for the violence. The Hells angels are trying to take over the local drug trade. Fighting a war, either side, for the right to sell crack is deranged. There is no nobility in it.

I will add that there appears to be a Nazi flag hanging inside the window of the home of the Finks biker who's son was shot. Why is it that Nazi bikers always murder each other? Is it because they all want to be the one dictator and have everyone serve them? That's sure what it looks like. The Germans were conned. They didn't realize what was happening to the Jews until it was too late.

Flying a Nazi flag now is an offense to the Canadian and the Australian military. It represents racism and genocide. It represents the surrender of liberty. It mocks the solders who fell at Normandy and the Australians who fell at Gallipoli. It also mocks the French who's country was invaded by the Nazi's requiring the sacrifice of all those noble soldiers to liberate it. Buyer Beware.

Robert Shannon in Prison

Speaking of the Hells Angels selling drugs, here's a comparison photo of Rob Shannon when he was living it large with Weird Hal and when he was in prison back in 2009. Looks like he stopped bleaching his hair in prison. He's given up that geeky bleach blond frosty look. He looks a little more human with a touch of grey.

Let's not forget his boat that his Dad rode around on. Can't tell me his Dad didn't know where the money was coming from. I heard T-Pain bought his boat. Not sure who got the truck.

I'm going to talk a bit about greed. I mean look at that boat and what's worse look at that truck. Sure they're expensive. Probably cost as much as a house. But it really looks dumb. It's extreme. Oh look at me. I'm looking at an idiot alright.

I'll admit a geeky bleach blond was the perfect cover for a cross border drug ring. Yet look at all the misery all that crack caused. He was trading BC bud for cocaine to be brought back to Canada to be sold as crack for the Hells Angels. So when the Hells Angels puppets in Prince George called the Crew were cutting off fingers for crack debts, that's what paid for Robbie's dumb truck and boat.

The problem is the greed. No one would care if the Hells Angels owned a few grow ops. It's when they use violence to take over all the grow ops we see them become consumed in their greed.

No one would care if the Hells Angels sold pot at the Bulldog Cafe or out of the Black Door next to it. It's when they say no one else is allowed to sell pot and used brutal violence to take over that market we see them become consumed in their greed.

No one would care if the Hells Angels sold BC bud. It's when they trade all that BC bud for cocaine in the states and bring it back to be sold here as crack that we see them become consumed in their greed. Why can't they just sell BC bud. Don't tell me the buyers don't have the money to pay for it. They sell it to customers who buy it. Everyone makes more money by selling crack. Making money isn't good enough they want to make more and more money until their greed consumes them. It's all about greed and as they say in Rome, Pride cometh before the fall.

Then there's the prison mentality. Everyone is so obsessed with looking tough and being bad. It's like these guys never grew out of high school. Who are you trying to impress? Shaving your head and getting tattoos instead of hair. That doesn't look hard core it looks dumb. How are you going to get a real job? Oh you don't need a real job because you're gonna sell crack. Until they find someone who will do the same job for cheaper and they pull a Juel Stanton, a Geoff Meisner or Matthew Rheaumeand and put a cap in your ass. They will use a couple of big guys then stick a knife in their back when they're finished with them. It has nothing to do with brotherhood and everything to do with greed.

Another Quebec drug raid tied to the Hells Angels

Following an early-morning series of police raids Thursday in the Monteregie region east of Montreal, at least 15 suspects were expected to appear in court later in the day to face drug- and firearms-related charges.

Sgt. Valerie Bolduc said it was as part of an effort to dismantle what she described as "a well-established, long-standing drug ring . . . believed to involve the Hells Angels" motorcycle gang. One of those detained was a man in his 50s, who police allege is the ringleader. The ring is believed to have distributed and sold cannabis, cocaine and methamphetamines, Bolduc added. Pot, cocaine and crystal meth. Imagine that.

Several marijuana grow-op sites were busted and at least one restricted firearm was seized as police conducted eight early-morning raids with a Hells Angels connection. Hells angels running grow ops? Imagine that. Having a grow op in one thing. Taking them over with violence is another. It's time to ban the bullies.

Hells Angels banned in Frankfurt‏

Another reader sent this in: Citing a history of weapons offences and violence, a German state banned two Frankfurt-based chapters of the Hells Angels on Friday and confiscated their assets. "A German State." Sounds like it was provincial legislation not federal. Now there's an idea.

"These gangs are not in any way made up only of harmless motorbike riders," Hesse state interior minister Boris Rhein said at a televised news conference. "Many members are known to the police because of violent, drug or weapon-related offences." The interior ministry said it had the authority to ban clubs when their aims or activities break the law.

I'm all for the freedom of association. Yet that charter right does not include the right to belong to a criminal organization. Obviously we have to be careful of how we approach such legislation. As long as there is a long list of documented criminal activity then a ban is clearly in order. Calling a labour activist a terrorist just so the government can spy on him without a warrant is not acceptable. Happens all the time, but it shouldn't. I oppose warranties surveillance.

Yet with the long list of documented criminal activity in Canada there is no reason the Hells Angels can't be deemed a criminal organization in Canada within the criminal code. They had a committee set up to discuss that possibility but it looks like they dropped the ball after the got their coveted majority. Now the only people that will do real time in prison are pot growers. Rapists and cocaine dealers will get a slap on the wrist. Now that is tragic.

I think it's also important to recognize how the Hells angels use a web of puppet clubs to sell their drugs for them to hide their involvement. The Zig Zag crew were caught selling crack for the Hells angels in Winnipeg and paid them dues for protection. Just like the Rockers in Quebec.

After the Zig Zag crew were busted then they started LHS which was disbanded when they shot one of their own guys to let the Ontario Hells Angels take over the drug trade in Thompson. Then they formed the Redline Support Crew to fight the Rock Machine and their puppet club Vendettas for the drug trade in Winnipeg. Then they also created the Freewheelers MC which is being pushed aside by their creation of the Heretics. These guys burn through puppet clubs fasted than an addict goes through crack pipes.

Back East after the Hells Angels were deemed a criminal organization and had their clubhouse seized, all of a sudden the Darksiders found the cash to open their own clubhouse in one "formally" owned by the Hells Angels.

Cocaine in Vernon

Speaking of cocaine in Vernon, more details from the Vernon Greeks trial made the news again today. The witness said that when he arrived at a Vernon building, he found Marnuik covered in blood. "A Vernon building" that wouldn't be the warehouse owned by Hells Angels associate Zenon Stepkowski would it?

No doubt the new cocaine bust in Vernon wasn't related to Zenon and the Vernon Greeks. However there is no doubt the original suppliers of the Vernon Greeks have simply found another mule. Case in point, the Robert Shannon conviction being replaced with the Jones Brothers implication.

On a completely unrelated matter, I understand that Joey Armand Mazzei is quite involved in the community so to speak. He is suing the organizers of the Big Iron Shootout because he was injured in an avalanche shooting up the mountain on a snowmobile which clearly is high risk of causing an avalanche. This Joey Mazzei seems to be a person of interest now. It might be worth keeping an eye on him.

Salmon Arm sure keeps resurfacing in the news. One blog reader just pointed out that Zenon Stepkowski is listed as the owner/manager of the Apple Grove Motel in Salmon Arm. People who know him describe his as lazy not having a real job. They wonder how he could afford to but a motel. Interesting question. Maybe he's in charge of Salmon Arm now and they put someone else in charge of Vernon.

Former Mountie charged with murder released on bail

A former B.C. Mountie charged with the second degree murder of his common law wife is now out on bail. His lawyer claims
“This person spent all of his life obeying the law, and half of it enforcing the law,” said Skogstad. “If he can’t get bail, who can?” Someone who hasn't been charged with murder perhaps?

Aaron Derbyshire - Five years later

This Friday marked the fifth anniversary of the disappearance of Aaron Derbyshire, who has been missing since September 30, 2006. About 20 relatives joined Aaron's mother at the RCMP detachment Friday morning to ask Kelowna for help.

Derbyshire was last seen around 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2006, by friends at Level Night Club in downtown Kelowna. The friends left Derbyshire in the bar while they stepped outside to watch a fight. When they returned inside, he was gone. Too many people are missing or have been murdered.

Saskatchewan cross border drug ring

Three BC men have been charged in a cross border drug smuggling ring in Saskatchewan. 30 kilograms of cocaine, 100 Ecstasy tablets, cash and firearms were seized. Come to think if it, that's where Derrick Madinski brought the BC bud across the line to meet up with Joe Brallic.

Actually the cocaine and Ecstasy were seized in BC. They just brought it across the border in Saskatchewan. RCMP say 25-year-old Brock Ernest Palfrey from Silverstar, B.C., 50-year-old William Bruce Larsen from Coldstream, B.C. and 28-year-old Ronald Charles Learning from Golden B.C. are charged with conspiracy to import cocaine and to export ecstasy.

Silverstar and Coldsteeam. Surprise surprise. That would be Vernon. That would be the Vernon Greeks territory who work for the Hells Angels. The Vernon Greeks used ruthless violence to control the drug trade in that area. They were found with Hells angels support gear. So I wonder who is ultimately responsible for this cocaine bust?

In fact Brock Ernest Palfrey was charged in a rather large cociane bust April 22 2010. That article said he was from Vernon. Silverstar is in Vernon so to speak. At least eight law agencies in Canada, including the Vernon RCMP task force, helped in the investigation along with representatives from the U.S.

Interesting to note that a 2003 Ford Winstar was stopped, searched and seized in Salmon Arm, resulting in a third person being arrested. Salmon Arm, isn't that shocking. One of the Haney Hells Angels owns land out there doesn't he?

Destroying wonderful small towns like that. Shame on you.

Election Candy

I must admit I don't have the same animosity towards Christy Clark that I do for Gordon Campbell. Yet giving away free candy before an election is kinda cheap. Christy Clark announces a new stat Holiday in BC. This is supposed to make up for all the horrible things Campbell's Liberals did over the years? Giving away someone else's money. Small and large businesses are going to have to pay for the Holiday.

It reminds me of how Gordon Campbell gave away that BC Hydro rebate right before an election and then shafted us again after he was elected. Buyer Beware. Don't take candy from strangers.

They should take away Gordon Campbell’s ridiculous award and offensive High Commission job instead. Then we’d have something to celebrate Failing that another holiday is a bit pointless. The holiday should commemorate the day he finally resigned.

Court backlog stalls more prosecutions

Once again the Court backlog makes the front page. Kim Bolan was reporting on how the shortage of sheriffs for court was resulting in many cases getting adjourned. At the same time we also read about how the prisons in BC are over crowed to the absurd extreme where Gordo the Glutton was building prison tents in BC. I kid you not.

All this was happening before Harper's disproportionate crime bill that will now send that fragile system into absolute chaos. Realistically someone who committed murder won't have their case dropped as that would hopefully be somewhat of a priority. Yet the other prioritization has already gone astray.

According to government figures provided to The Province, as of Sept. 3, there had been 73 judicial stays of proceedings for adult criminal and youth cases in B.C. Provincial Court so far this year. In 2010, there were 58 judicial stays for the entire year. The Vancouver Province listed a few of the many cases that were dropped because of delays resulting from shortages.

Some of the cases weren't significant yet others were. In 2009, Jason James Horner and Robert Luigi Polani had their cocaine conspiracy charges stayed when a judge found their three-year-old case had taken too long to get to trial. A Crown appeal of the rulings by B.C. Supreme Court Justice Peter Leask was heard last November and a decision is still awaited. Peter Leask hearing another cocaine case. God help us.

In May 2010, Provincial Court Judge Ronald Webb, in staying a charge of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking against Darren Bryan Williams of Cranbrook, said trial dates were hopelessly overbooked.

So right now we are already seeing over crowed prisons and case back logs where important charges like trafficking cocaine are being dropped. Knowing this, Harper then goes to the opposite extreme, leaving hard drugs aside, sets out on his own Don Quixote crusade against those evil pot growers by imposing mandatory minimum sentences of two years for growing pot. No wonder Mr. Harper hasn't increased mandatory minimums for crack. He must be smoking it himself.

Unlike the bleeding hearts, I most certainly don't have a problem with mandatory minimum sentences. For murder or trafficking cocaine. Not for smoking or growing pot. Especially when the courts have directed the government to fix the current problem of patients with medicinal marijuana prescriptions to have aces to filling those prescriptions.

I'm not going to say the courts are the end all and be all. I think the courts decision to keep insite open is wrong. If people want to keep insite open by a democratic referendum that is one thing. Having the courts over rule a democratically elected government and claim shooting heroine in a safe place is a charter right is absurd. But that's another topic.

Right now we have to deal with the catastrophic state of emergency Stephen Harper has now manufactured with his disproportionate crime bill. Cocaine trafficking cases are now getting dropped. That's not even including the investigations like the Western Wind the higher ups have pulled the plug on.

Throwing all the pot growers in jail for two years is going to further tax the judicial system and fill the over crowed prisons. Three to a bunk is not acceptable. Privatizing the prisons is not acceptable. Raising taxes to incarcerate nonviolent offenders is not acceptable. The California prison system is not a model we should follow. Instead we should learn from their mistakes.

Body dumped in Squamish ID'd

Sunday afternoon a group of hikers found a dead body near a hiking trail on the side of Mamquam Road in Squamish. "It appears the man was met with foul play," said spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Pound. "It does appear to be a homicide." Pound also refused to comment on media reports that the man's body was found beaten and duct-taped.

Kim Bolan has reported the identity of the body is that of William Woo from Surrey who was an associate of the East Vancouver hells angels but more recently went over to the other side. Now he's in a body bag. I wonder who the prime suspects are? If the East Vancouver chapter of the Hells angels contract a murder, that makes them a criminal organization guilty of murder. I don't know about the Duhre Daiquiris but Lotus, now there is some old school credibility right there. They are more than capable of professional payback.

Beaten and duck taped. Yeah that would imply foul play. It reminds me of two other cases in Squamish. One was a guy named Alex Larsen who was run over by a truck because he was lying in the middle of the road. It's so strange and tragic. Yes it's possible he got drunk or high and passed out. Yet we've never heard a word either way. We don't know if he was beaten and dumped there or if he was walking on the side of the road and a car hit him which was why he was lying in the middle of the road before the bus ran him over. The case comes to mind and I wish there was more pieces to that puzzle. They say he had made a decision to turn his life around. Just like Britney Irving. Tragic indeed.

Of course there's that other bizarre case in Squamish, the murder of Javan Luke Dowling. Three drug dealers were driving in a car in Vancouver. One of the drug dealers, shot one of the other drug dealers in the head and the third drug dealer watched the shooter cut off Dowling's head and dismembered his body. The two surviving drug dealers buried the body in two separate locations in Squamish. Mihaly Illes was alleged to be the shooter while Derrick Madinski helped him bury the body. Derrick Madinski went with Joe Brallic to LA where Joe was ripped off and murdered.

Meanwhile in that same original article about a new dead body being found in Squamish it later stated there was another shooting in Surrey near the corner of 111A Avenue and 146th Street at about 2: 40 a.m. on Sunday. It didn't even make it's own head line. Kinda sad. The point is violent crime is continuing and as the papers also report the court system is currently in crisis. That was before Harper's disproportionate crime bill sent the fragile system into chaos.

Man charged in Teri-Lyn Williams murder

Dustin Lee LaLonde has been charged of second-degree murder of Teri-Lyn Williams. Teri's body was found in North Surrey across from Tbarz last year. Lalonde is currently serving a four-year sentence for robbery and aggravated assault committed Aug. 17, 2010 in Kelowna.

In 2001, Lalonde was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and obtaining transportation by fraudulent means. He has since appeared in court numerous times on charges in Kelowna, Kamloops, Vancouver and Prince George mostly for robbery, theft and fraud.

In steps Jason Zailo

We've talked about the Lindsay Buziak murder in Saanich. She's listed on the unsolved murders page. We also talked about it after it was featured on Dateline. We also posted a letter by her father regarding lawlessness. We forgot to mention her father is offering a new reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her murderer. They've even set up a tips line separate from the Saanich PD since so many people have expressed concerns about trusting them.

Lindsay's boyfriend was "cleared" of being a suspect early on in the investigation. That's kinda suspicious. Back in the day, the murder mystery game Clue coined the phrase "the butler did it." In our day of domestic violence, that phrase has become the boyfriend did it. In our sad era of domestic violence, often the spouse is the first suspect. An alibi doesn't exclude someone with a motive from suspicion of contracting a murder.

The strange thing is that the Dateline documentary quoted one witnesses who claimed that Lindsay Buziak was going to leave her boyfriend Jason Zailo. Jason admittedly denied that in the Dateline documentary but there are other witnesses who have made the same claim. Yet the police went to the extreme of clearing him after the documentary aired. In fact they went to the extreme of clearing the boyfriends' entire family. Like why would they even say that. Why on earth would the boyfriend's family be suspects? The rabbit hole in this case is very deep so it is.

I mean look at the guy. Why on earth is he holding a knife in that picture with Lindsay with those psycho eyes? He looks like Jason from Friday the 13th. I'm not sure how she got involved with him in the first place but breaking up with him would have been problematic. She was a realtor and he was the mortgage broker. He certainly has a lot of interesting friends and associates. I'm mean that sure isn't Ziggy Marley he's hanging out with.

Jason Zailo's friend Zachery (Ziggy) Matheson was romantically involved with Shannon Christine Spruyt. Ziggy's friend David Martin Niebergall plead guilty to murdering Kevin Black who was Shannon's new boyfriend after she broke up with Ziggy. Shannon was assaulted when Kevin was shot. Later that year she died of a heroin overdose.

Ziggy Matheson left with his brother Jimmy Lepine on the right. Jimmy has quite the criminal history too including trafficking in controlled substance. Sure glad none of that is suspicious.

The Cocaine Connection to the Bassi Virk Case

OK this has been bugging me for a while but I think I've finally found the connection. We've all heard about the BC Rail scam tied to Christy Clark's brother Bruce. The part that interested me was how the investigation that resulted in search warrants for two MLAs started over a drug investigation tied to organized crime.

We know their plea bargain cut the investigation short but all in all, Basi's cousin Jasmohan Singh Bains was convicted of cocaine traficking. Bains headed a Victoria-based group that shipped kilograms of cocaine to Metro Toronto and remitted cash back via Federal Express. His trial last summer focused on one shipment of 12 kilos, worth about $400,000, and Bains's boast that he could supply 50 kilos a week.

Although the drug ring was significant in size and was tied to organized crime, the nutty judge declared Bains was the initiator, the driving force, and the chief executive officer of the trafficking enterprise, and he answered to no other person. Yeah right. That doesn't even make sense but whatever. The point was Basi's cousin was convicted of cocaine trafficking.

Police became interested in former Liberal insider Dave Basi when numerous calls were made to his cellphone from Bains, his cousin. So he got a few calls from his cousin. That in itself is not earth shattering. However, Tips from an informant suggested Basi was laundering money for Bains by purchasing real estate, which is very significant. Those charges appear to have been dropped after Basi plead out to the BC Rail scandal.

Another cousin, Aneal Basi, who worked as a government media analyst, is accused of money laundering for allegedly accepting cheques from Erik Bornmann, then a partner in the lobbying firm Pilothouse, and transferring funds to Basi. Erik Bornmann in his statement to RCMP alleged that Bruce Clark, brother of then Deputy Premier (and current Premier) Christy Clark, bribed David Basi. Bribes for documents is one with but money laundering is another.

Basi was also heavily involved in efforts to push federal Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chrétien out of office and replace him with then–Finance minister Paul Martin. The so-called "Basi Boys" were allegedly used by Martin's B.C. lieutenant Mark Marissen -- husband of then-provincial Liberal deputy premier Christy Clark -- to take over riding associations for the Martin forces.

Hey, wait a minute. Didn't Paul Martin own a shipping line that was found to carry cocaine? Police in Nova Scotia discovered 83 kilograms of cocaine on a ship that is owned by Prime Minister Paul Martin's sons and named after Martin's wife. And Alfonso Gagliano said, Forget about it.

Looks like there was a Surrey connection too: Jaspal (Tony) Singh and Mandeep Sandhu were charged with conspiracy to traffic marijuana between Sept. 30 and Dec. 9, 2003 and with possessing marijuana for the purpose of trafficking on Oct. 9, 2003. The case involved a total of six kilograms of marijuana seized from a Surrey warehouse.

Former Victoria police constable Ravinder (Rob) Dosanjh was convicted of obstruction of justice last October in Vancouver provincial court. He was found guilty of counselling his cousin Sandhu to make false statements to police about the origin of funds seized from Sandhu’s residence. He received a conditional sentence of house arrest.

Dave Basi had been charged with the production and possession of marijuana after police found a grow operation in a home he owned but rented out at Shawnigan Lake, about 20 kilometres north of Victoria. Those charges were stayed June 30, 2005, by the federal Crown.

Ivan Andrew Campbell

Hells Angels associate Ivan Andrew Campbell in New Zealand was sentenced to 14 years for the torture and rape of a 14 year old boy in 2001 and a 13 year old boy in 1991. In a separate case a stripper was gang raped and tortured in Australia.

Under legislation at the time of his sentencing, the heavily tattooed sex offender must be released after two-thirds of his sentence – meaning he is to be freed by January 5, 2010 at the latest. But the Department of Corrections has taken the rare step of applying for an order under Section 107 of the Parole Act 2002, to keep him in jail.

Murder suspect is son of former police chief

Speaking of John Lindsay, the Edmonton police chief who resigned after controversy of the department leaking information to the Hells Angels, turns out his son Mark has been arrested in Kamloops. Mark Lindsay is the suspect in an Edmonton homicide investigation and had apparently been the target of an RCMP “Mr. Big” operation until he allegedly stabbed one of the undercover officers involved last week in Barriere, BC outside Kamloops.

Lindsay entered a guilty plea in August in an Edmonton courtroom to one count of assault with a weapon after stabbing his girlfriend, 31-year-old Dana Turner, in the head with a paring knife nearly two months earlier. He was handed a conditional sentence order and an 18-month probation term and released from custody on Aug. 12. Turner went missing on Aug. 14 and has not been seen since.

The bizarre thing is, as soon as he was released from prison for stabbing his girlfriend, Dana Turner, in the head, she went missing.
