CBC is reporitng that "Backed by a barrage of rockets, dozens of Hamas militants broke out of the blockaded Gaza Strip and into nearby Israeli towns, killing scores and abducting others in an unprecedented surprise early-morning attack during a major Jewish holiday on Saturday."
Maybe you can now understand why they want a wall. There is no way to justify or rationalize that attack. The Palestinians are not the original inhabitants of Gaza the Philistines are. They were wiped out by the Babylonians. West Bank has valid land claims but Gaza are obtuse.
Kidnapping civilians is haram so clearly religion has nothing to do with it. This is about politics. Likewise forced evictions has nothing to do with Zionism. That is not kosher. Both are wrong.
Now I realize I'm nobody. I'm just a stranger from a far country. I'm not a Muslim. I'm not a Jew. I'm not even a good Christian. I'm nobody but I have been to Israel. I worked on a Kibbutz in Israel when I was young and tried to do some fundraising for the Oasis of Peace because that is a cause I believe in. I'm from Vancouver where Jews and Muslims get along just like they're supposed to. Here nobody cares what religion you're from. That's what religious freedom means.
My feelings for Israel and for Palestine are similar to Gandalf's feelings for Morai in the Lord of the Rings. Somehow I think it will be the death of me. As Orlando Bloom said in the movie Kingdom of Heaven, Jerusalem drives men mad. It's like the O'Neils in Northern Ireland and the red hand of Ulster. You guys are crazy. If you want the land that bad you can have it. I will find some place else to live. However, in the spirit of truth and justice we must look at the facts.
The Palestinians in Gaza are just plain obnoxious. However, the Palestinians in the West Bank are facing forced evictions. That is wrong. Joshua did not conquer all of Israel. He was commanded to vex not the stranger that sojourneth with thee. Israel is breaking that commandment in West Bank. Like I say, it's none of my business. I'm just stating the truth.
The rest of the world is concerned because we all know that is where Armageddon will eventually take place. All the armies of the world will gather against Israel. Israel will be conquered and Jerusalem will be placed under siege for three and a half years. Two false prophets will rise with power to call fire down from heaven and will deceive many.
Two true prophets will stand against them and be killed for their testimony. Their dead bodies will lie in the street and the people will throw a party. There will be a silence in heaven and when the enemies of righteousness are ripe in their decadence they will be literally wiped off the face of the earth. The birds of the air will feed on their carcasses. He that hath an ear to hear, let him hear.

If Israel wants to invade Palestine and steal more land or so whatever other objectives, what do they need to do to gain support? They need to be attacked.

When I fist heard this I thought it must be a false flag operation like the USS Liberty was. However, Hamas is not Mossad. That is ridiculous. The inhabitants of Gaza are mental cases. As soon as Israel pulls out and gives them more autonomy, they start randomly firing rockets into Israel from the rooftops of civilian condos. Then when Israel gives them notice of a military strike they send more civilians in to die for the cause so they can complain about civilian causalities. They are deceptive and insane.

In this case it is well within the realm of believability that a group of Hamas could cross the wall and invade civilian cities by surprise simply because it hasn't been done before. Normally they just randomly fire rockets into the air. Israel is surrounded by hostile borders. This case is an example of why civilians need guns.
You are just parroting Israel and the mainstream media's claims. You have no idea whether Hamas is covertly working to advance Israel's objectives or not. But realize this: every time stuff like this happens, Israel benefits greatly. They always end up taking more land too. So perhaps Hamas is just incredibly stupid, and continues to cause Palestinians to lose more and more land, rights, and civilians, OR, maybe the mainstream media, and the Israeli government, aren't telling you the truth.

I think one should pay some creedence to past, present and future statements from Iran on the state of Israel as well as their words on this specific attack.
As much as I believe Palestine historically got the shaft and continues to get it, there is no denying that their actions are beyond barbaric.
Sadly, many innocents blood will be shed, but when you vote for a Hamas government knowing that it is attached with this fanatical militant faction and this militant faction proceeds to do something like this, you lose almost all sympathy.
To make matters worse Palestinian expats around the world march in the street celebrating the attack, that is fkn demented.

Yes I have heard about the Dancing Israelis during 9/11. They may have assisted the CIA but they were not responsible. They were responsible for the attack on the USS Liberty but they were acting on orders from President Johnson. The CIA is corrupt. That doesn't mean all Americans are. Likewise, just because Mossad assists the CIA with corruption doesn't mean all Jews are corrupt. Jews have a right to a homeland just like the Palestinians do.
