The Roman Wall on Mount Baker

On the brighter side, I hiked up to the Roman Wall on Mount Baker yesterday. It was awesome. Ya know I’ve very Canadian and I’m a Vancouverite all the way, but when you drive from Langley to Abbotsford Mount Baker is staring at you saying here I am, come and get me. Baker is one of the nicest hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest.

When I fist started snowshoeing a few years ago I said to myself I want to snowshoe on Baker. I want to see if I can make it to the glacier. I wanted to see what climbing on glaciers was like. So I head up to Baker and snowshoe up the Ptarmigan Ridge trail. You get a pretty awesome view of Baker up close and personal. Yet between that lookout spot and the glacier is a huge inaccessible gully. I said surely there’s a way to access the glacier.

Turns out the ski hill on Mount Baker, as awesome as it is, isn’t actually on Mount Baker it’s on a few peaks right beside Mount Baker. To get to the glacier on Mount Baker you have to turn at the town of Glacier and drive up Glacier Creek Road. It’s an old single lane logging road that has pull outs on the shoulder were you can pull out on if there’s an oncoming car.

You drive up Glacier Creek road then hike the Heliotrope trail and climb up Hogs Back. Hogs Back is pretty unique and easy to identify. It looks very much like a hog’s back and serves as the base camp for those who are serious about climbing the summit. From the base camp at Hog’s Back it’s about an eight hour return hike to the summit. It’s very deceptive. It really doesn’t look that far from there but it is. You’re just out of the tree line and Baker is huge.

Climbing a glacier in the summer can be dangerous. Part of the glacier is crumpled like an accordion, that’s the Coleman glacier. Other parts of the glacier depending on the time of year are breaking up and have huge crevices you can fall in. In the winter they’re full of snow but in the summer the glacier stats to melt and break up. One year I went the glacier was totally screwed. It was receded way beyond normal and the trail was inaccessible because the normally small crevices were these huge monster crevices that there’s no way you wanted to fall in one. There were like 15 feet wide and went down a very long way.

The last couple times I went the glacier was right to the base camp on Hog’s back and the footpath was clear. You had to step over a few crevices yesterday but they weren’t the huge monster crevices that were everywhere a few years ago. Yesterday the danger was if you slipped and lost your footing in the soft afternoon snow melted by the summer sun. If you slipped and start sliding down the mountain, that’s when you can fall into a large crevice. That’s why you’re supposed to travel in pairs and bring full gear including rope and ice anchors to pull your partner out if they fall in a crevice.

That’s a lot of gear for me to carry. I'm just a day tripper. I’m OK with a day pack carrying all your water and lunch with crampons and an ice axe to stop me in case I slip and start to slide into a crevice but all that gear is just too much for me to carry climbing all that way.

One year I climbed up to a rock formation that looked like Hadrian’s Wall in Scotland. When I got back home and looked on the map it was actually called the Roman Wall. It’s a natural rock formation where the wind has eroded the mountain that forms jagged peaks resembling a wall along the top on the way to the summit. The path to the summit goes right beside it. The rocks on Baker are crumbly slate. They’re not the typical large solid rock you see around the Vancouver mountains. I guess that’s because it’s volcanic. You can also see a fair bit of pumice as well.

I climbed up the glacier to the roman wall yesterday and the glacier looked a bit doggy after that so I turned back. It was nice to get your ice and snow fix at the end of summer. Ya gotta love that.

This is one of my favorite pictures I took a few years ago of the sun rising behind Mount Baker. You can see the path on the right along the Roman Wall:

This is as far as I made it that year. The path on the right was totally accessible. I just ran out of steam and had boots that didn’t fit properly:

Harper severs diplomatic ties with Iran

Canada abruptly closed its embassy in Iran and expelled Iranian diplomats in Ottawa. Iran supports Syrian president Bashar Assad. Well so does Russia. Does that mean we’re going to sever diplomatic ties with Russia? I don’t think Iran should have nuclear weapons but I don’t think China, India or any other country we are selling them to should either. Sarkozy said let’s trust Gadaffi with nuclear technology because we want to sell him a reactor. Then when he says he’s gonna buy one from someone else, we invaded and executed him. Stephen Harper is a dick wad. Remember Operation Ajax and Mohammad Mosaddegh? That is what this is about.

I am sick and tired of these ungodly oil wars being disguised as a quest for human rights. What about the Pakistan bombing? Somebody makes a deal to buy arms off Sarkozy. Then when they change their mind some intelligence agency blows them up.

If one of Israel’s enemies acquires nuclear weapons then that is a huge concern. The problem is that Mossad is so busy selling drugs and committing investment fraud along with the CIA, it’s hard to believe a word that comes out of their mouth either.

Nuclear power is problematic. Letting an enemy have nuclear power lets them have nuclear weapons. That’s why we shouldn’t be selling Candu reactors to China and India. Everyone rightfully freaks out when North Korea defiantly launches a missile test. Yet no one bats an eye when India conducts a nuclear test. Oh that’s OK because they’re an ally. It’s not OK. Just like it wasn’t OK for Iraq to use chemical weapons we sold them to use on Iran. That wasn’t OK either.

Look at the pattern. If a country has a nationalized oil program they all of a sudden become terrorists. That’s why Operation Fast and Furious existed. Other than making money off the arms and the cocaine, they wanted to sabotage the Mexican president’s war on drugs so they would elect a president that would follow through with the privatization of their oil.

Another Targeted Shooting in Surrey

Another targeted shooting in Surrey this afternoon in broad daylight. When you look at the number of bullet holes in the front windshield I’d sure say it was targeted. The Vancouver Sun is reporting that the man gunned down in today’s shooting is the brother of a recently-convicted cocaine smuggler.

Sources identified the victim as Jag Johal, brother to Shminder Johal, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison in July for smuggling cocaine and guns into B.C. after a 2007 arrest. Johal was shot multiple times in broad daylight while sitting in the passenger side of a car in a parking lot at 68 Avenue and King George Boulevard.

A blog reader who was on scene after the shooting and took these pictures, claims they saw someone show up after the shooting that looked just like Rob Yews. Last we heard he was selling “shirts” in Yellowknife. If wonder if he’s in town and why.

GObama

When I saw this picture in the Vancouver Province today it reminded me of a scene from mortal combat right when the opponents bow before squaring off. The media billed Clinton and Obama as former rivals because Obama ran against Hillary, yet it’s clear that Clinton supports Obama’s dream.

I had read a blogger quote Mitt Romney’s speech and I was shocked. Then when I checked the transcript of his speech it turns out he didn’t actually say a lot of those things and the blogger was being sarcastic. I did catch the end of Obama’s speech tonight. Ya gotta admit the guy is a very good speaker. George Bush was painful and irritating. He was like nails on the chalkboard. I couldn’t listen to him and had to change the channel whenever he spoke. Obama I can listen to. He says many heartfelt things that I support.

Between the two I have to admit the choice is clear. We the people or I the elite who will exploit and rip you off. Mitt Romney is a much better speaker than George Bush. Yet his unfailing support of Bush is suspect. He says avoid debt yet made millions loading companies with debt then forcing them to pay huge consulting fees as well as massive interest. He fed himself and the banks well.

Romney said it doesn’t matter what race you are but every time he raised the point I got the feeling to him it did. He talked about the United States because he wanted Democrats to vote for him but he kept repeating what was so horribly wrong with the past four years of Obama’s presidency. Not a word about the Tsunami of disaster that George Bush created. When you look at the last four years of Obama’s presidency, nothing went terribly wrong like it consistently did during Bush’s tenure. The banks or Wall street didn’t crash again. It’s just taking longer than anticipated to recover from all that bad debt George Bush left the country with.

In the past four years, no new country has been invaded for their oil. Well, except for Libya. There was no mortgae or stock scandals that crashed the banks or Wall Street. The fact that nothing terrible happened in the past four years like it consistently did under George Bush is a good thing.

I do have a concern with Bill Clinton. I’m told he gave a very inspiring speech. He is a very likeable person. Yet his documented ties to the drug smuggling and money laundering out of Mena, Arkansas when he was governor is very concerning. Tied of course to his pal George Bush Senior who started it all with the heroin smuggling during Vietnam.

When you Google Clinton body count you find a long list of people the Clintons know who died premature deaths of suspicious circumstances. I saw an episode of the TV series the Mathematician where he was calculating the odds of four people who new each other all dying of mysterious circumstances within a short period of time. He found the odds to be astronomical. In that episode the murders were tied to a cover up of voter fraud. All I’m saying is the number of people who have died of suspicious circumstances around the Clintons is shocking.

Obama’s ties to Clinton are understandable but concerning. Obama’s senior aid that’s taking the fall for Operation Fast and Furious worked closely with Bill Clinton. I keep stressing that Operation Fast and Furious isn’t just an Obama thing because Bush did the exact same thing in Operation Wide Receiver. Nevertheless, Operation Fast and Furious is an Obama thing because it’s tied to the same secret service that paid for his university education.

Hilary on the other hand looks just plain evil. She was implicated in that suspicious treasury note scandal when she was seen at a Swiss Bank account trying to recover it. Her law firm was tied to the same things her husband was involved with out of Mena. None of it was good. Obama was wise in not making her VP. That would have seen him assassinated faster than you can say President Johnston recall the wings.

I do think there is hope for America. I don’t think that hope rests with a politician. Just like Obama said that hopes rests with individuals who rise up to the challenges that face them and press forward with a consistent determination. Through small consistent acts, great things are accomplished. Politicians can’t be trusted. They need to be watched and restrained.

Romney’s slash and burn cannibalism doesn’t create jobs and build the economy. It cuts jobs and feeds the banks while his friends evade taxes in off shore accounts. That doesn’t build the country, it clear cuts it for the next generation. Honorable mention goes to the illustrious Ron Paul Revolution. Now that is hope.

Three Cheers for the Po Po

Yo bro, I aint talking about no Teletubby. I’m talking about the POlice. With all these arrests of Hells Angels in Kelowna, we need to pause and salute the boys in blue or in our case, the men in red. A lot of people have been writing in and saying wow, with all these Hells Angels busts lately my faith in the police has sure been improved. I think that says it all.

When people see crime go unpunished and minimized, people lose faith in the system. Look at how far we’ve come in such a short period of time. Last summer after the Jonathon Bacon and Larry Amero shooting in Kelowna, Pat Fogarty told the media "The Hells Angels chapter has almost dismantled now. They don‘t even have club status any more. Our biggest fear here in our province is actually the ones that aren‘t named."

That ridiculous statement forced us to question which side he was on. Either he was deliberately trying to misinform the public or someone in IHIT was deliberately trying to misinform him. One year later a completely different picture of the Hells Angels involvement in the drug trade and stolen property trade has been revealed and our faith in the police has been restored.

What we need to do now, is make sure some bureaucrat from upstairs doesn’t find who ever it is in the CFSEU that is doing such a great job and transfer them behind a desk as a result. I saw that happen in Seattle back in the /80’s. Twice. There was a cop on the beat named Chuck Pillon that was putting pressure on the crack dealers. He was so effective, they transferred him and put him behind a desk. In comes another cop on the beat in South Seattle who started doing a great job putting pressure on the crack dealers. In no time he too was transferred. It was very suspect. Just like how Richard Barszczewski pulled the plug on the Western Wind drug seizure. That guy should have been sent to jail not get a promotion. The fact that he is still lingering around is suspect.

Obviously there still are concerns within the police force that need to be addressed. Tasering someone repeatedly in the chest when they are on the ground is a misuse of the weapon. Tasering someone when they are hogtied is a crime. No doubt Jim Brown and Don Ray need to be fired. Yet that only means the struggle between good and evil continues not that we should abandon the struggle.

In the mean time we need to stop and applaud those involved in these latest busts and say well done. We also need to watch their back so they don’t get quietly transferred behind a desk so the streets can return to the status quo.

Blog format

OK The blog format is totally screwed. I have no idea what happened. I’m working on fixing it. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. The web site is fine. It’s on a different server.

OK I think I have it just about fixed. Some people said they liked it, some people said they didn’t. I thought it was painful like Facebook Timeline. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. I just like it functional and easy to read.

Hells Angels face more Criminal organization charges

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Criminal organization charges have been tacked on to trafficking and conspiracy allegations against eight Hells Angels members accused of being involved in an international drug ring.

Last week police announced that they had raided a number of properties in the Okanagan and arrested Shawn Womacks, Murray Trekofski, Orhan Saydam, Bryan Oldham, Kevin Van Kalkeren, James Howard, Michael Read and David Giles. Giles is vice-president and Oldham is the sergeant at arms of the Kelowna chapter of the Hells Angels.

Womacks, Trekofski, Saydam and Oldham are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance in association with a criminal organization. Oldham also faces a charge of conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance in association with a criminal organization.

Van Kalkeren, Howard, Read and Giles are charged with conspiracy to import a controlled substance and conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance in association with a criminal organization. The cases of all eight accused appeared in B.C. Provincial Court and B.C. Supreme Court in Vancouver Wednesday.

Johnny Newcome BUSTED!

Another Kelowna Hells Angel bites the dust. Police are announcing that they have discovered a stolen car ring tied to the Hells Angels in Kelowna and have arrested Johnny Newcome from Cycle Logic as the ringleader. Wow. The Kelowna Hells Angels are sure getting their ass kicked by law and order. Pride cometh before the fall.

I want to pause for a moment and emphasize how significant this latest bust really is. We all know that crack dealers and crystal meth dealers are low life scumbags. When I started advertizing the Kelowna Summer Jam before summer started, I really wanted to clarify the misconception of what a rat really is. I took it back a notch and tried to find some common ground. Something everyone could agree on.

The first thing that came to mind was the old notion of a Surrey rat. Some punk ass kid who steals cars and breaks into comes. You can’t get any lower than that. Someone who steals stuff is a low life. Everyone can agree with that. Reporting a car thief to the police isn’t being a rat. Stealing cars is being a rat. That was something everyone could agree on. I took that argument one step further and said people who sell crack are just as bad as car thieves. Ratting out a crack dealer isn’t being a rat, failing to do so is. Likewise with murder. Reporting Geoff Meisner or Britney Irving’s murder to the police isn’t being a rat. Betraying them and murdering them is being the rat.

Low and behold, the CFSEU break up a stolen property trafficking ring for the first time in BC’s history. Tied to the Hells angels. Wow. There’s no L & R there. Just low life greed. The police are alleging that this organized crime ring would bring stolen cars and boats to Cycle Logic where Johnny be good would revin it and send them on their way.

In once case, the police are alleging the President of the Kelowna Hells Angels reported two vehicles as stolen, and the vehicles were later processed at the garage. Police also recovered three stolen vehicles that were allegedly in the possession of the Calgary Hells Angels chapter. Wow, that is lower than I thought they could possibly go. They have no right to EVER use the word rat again unless they are referring to themselves.

This bust seals the deal. The Kelowna Hells angels are a criminal organization. Their clubhouse should be seized. Carpe Diem.

A member of the Nanaimo Hells Angels worked at that chop shop as well.

Paul Lir Alexander‏ convicted drug trafficker for Mossad

I’ve got one post to make before I write about the breaking news in Kelowna everyone is talking about. Yesterday someone sent me a link to a Langley Advance story about another international drug ring busted tied to Langley, Abbotsford and you guessed it, Surrey. The thing that I found bizarre was the Star of David stamped on one of the bricks of cocaine seized by the CFSEU. I was speechless.

We know the UN has been known to stamp their logo on a brick of cocaine they ship. We even saw the Edmonton Hells Angels do the same thing with the 51 (E-A) stamped on it. This Star of David stamp has me baffled. It is either very arrogant, very stupid or someone is trying to set someone else up. We know Mossad has been deeply involved in cocaine trafficking with the CIA back in Nicaragua and the extended version of Iran Contra.

We were told that Mossad agents received the cocaine shipments in Operation Watchtower along with Noriega and CIA agents. Yet all of that sounds so much like a James Bond movie it’s hard to grasp. Yet we have two pieces of evidence starring us in the face that we must address. We have a brick of cocaine with a Star of David stamped on it and we have the historical account of Paul Lir Alexander‏.

Paul Lir Alexander‏ is known as the Baron of Cocaine in Brazil. He was born in Brazil but left to join the Israeli Army. In 1982 he worked for Mossad with Oliver North out of Nicaragua part of Iran contra. He worked alongside CIA agents who were getting cocaine from Pablo Escobar through General Manuel Noriega and smuggling it into the USA for sale to street gangs on the East and West Coast

After that Mossad sent him back to Brazil where he continued a very profitable drug smuggling career. We was finally arrested and convicted of drug trafficking and after serving 12 years in prison escaped last year. Which leads me to ask, what on earth is a Star of David doing stamped on a brick of cocaine seized in Canada? Please advise.

Combined Forces bust another international drug ring

A Langley man is one of six accused of being part of a cocaine and ecstasy importing ring that led police from Princeton to South America.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C. (CFSEU) has announced charges against Jeremy Albert Stark, 38, of Langley, along with Khamla Wong, a 42-year-old formerly of Abbotsford. Both are charged with one count of conspiracy to import 97 kilograms of cocaine and possession of a firearm. Wong remains at large.

The investigation began in 2008, when Canadian police were alerted by American authorities about a cross-border drug trafficking operation between B.C., California, Mexico and Peru.

There were several seizures during the investigation. In August 2008, 23 kilograms of ecstasy were seized in Princeton, B.C., police said. Two months later, in December, 121 kilograms of cocaine were seized at a border crossing south of Vancouver. And in May 2009, 10 kilograms of cocaine were seized in Burnaby.

Bhayani said the delay between the drug seizures and the arrests was due to other ongoing investigations, as well as the time needed to present evidence to prosecutors.

Stephen Harper grounds plane for political message

The Public Service Alliance of Canada says it hired a plane to fly over Ottawa and Gatineau on Saturday with a trailing banner that read, in French, “StephenHarperNousDéteste.ca” (Stephen Harper hates us).

“When the plane took off from Rockcliffe (airport), it was flying for about an hour-and-a-half and the pilot received a message that he must land his plane immediately and that the RCMP wanted to question him,” PSAC’s Larry Rousseau said.

According to Rousseau, the RCMP told the pilot the banner could constitute hate speech and a threat to Harper’s security, but the union - which paid $1,000 per hour for the three-hour flight - disagrees. “We don’t see criticism of the prime minister as being hate speech, we see it as being freedom of speech,” Rousseau said.

Global news is reporting that the RCMP denies it is responsible for making such a call and suggests Nav Canada - which oversees Canada’s skies - could be behind it. But Nav Canada said in an email Monday that it was not their call to bring the plane down.

“We have looked into this and can confirm that there was no instruction from NAV CANADA air traffic control to land that plane,” said Nav Canada’s media relations manager Ron Singer. “Please check directly with the RCMP. Nav Canada has no further comment.”

Huffington Post is reporting the union said authorities ordered the aircraft to land because it had entered Parliament Hill's restricted airspace, although the pilot reportedly knew about the restrictions and steered clear of them, a claim Nav Canada confirmed, according to Canada.com.

We saw the same banner fly over the Gay Pride Parade. Did it fly over restricted air space or not? Bringing down a plane for a political message is bad enough but lying about it is even worse. This needs to be followed up on because it’s illegal. It is a violation of the charter of rights and is another example of how Stephen Harper is eroding our rights as we speak.

Mitt Romney and Bain Capital on the cover of the Rolling Stones

Dr Hook sang about being on the cover of the Rolling Stones. Well, Mitt Romney made it there and CBC is reporting that the Rolling Stone's Bain-bailout report is upsetting Romney's big night.

So now we have the story of Mitt Romney and Bain Capital on the cover of the Rolling Stones. It is a huge concern when a politician makes millions after a company goes bankrupt. Just like it was when Newt Gingrich made all that money off Fannie Mae. Only that cash grab was welfare fraud because their bail out was with tax dollars.

The Rolling Stones article claims what most voters don't know is the way Mitt Romney actually made his fortune: by borrowing vast sums of money that other people were forced to pay back. A man makes a $250 million fortune loading up companies with debt and then extracting million-dollar fees from those same companies, in exchange for the generous service of telling them who needs to be fired in order to finance the debt payments he saddled them with in the first place.

What Bain Capital did to American Pad and Paper, KB Toys as well as to Bealls Brothers and Palais Royal are three examples of this pattern of load with debt then suck them dry Bain kept repeating across the country. The Rolling Stones article explains:

Sadly, minus that tax break, Romney's debt-based takeovers would have been unsustainably expensive. "In the majority of these deals," Turner says, "the tax deduction has a big enough impact on the bottom line that the takeover wouldn't work without it."

Thanks to the tax deduction, in other words, the government actually incentivizes the kind of leverage-based takeovers that Romney built his fortune on. Romney the businessman built his career on two things that Romney the candidate decries: massive debt and dumb federal giveaways. "I don't know what Romney would be doing but for debt and its tax-advantaged position in the tax code," says a prominent Wall Street lawyer, "but he wouldn't be fabulously wealthy."

Take a typical Bain transaction involving an Indiana-based company called American Pad and Paper. Bain bought Ampad in 1992 for just $5 million, financing the rest of the deal with borrowed cash. Within three years, Ampad was paying $60 million in annual debt payments, plus an additional $7 million in management fees. A year later, Bain led Ampad to go public, cashed out about $50 million in stock for itself and its investors, charged the firm $2 million for arranging the IPO and pocketed another $5 million in "management" fees. Ampad wound up going bankrupt, and hundreds of workers lost their jobs, but Bain and Romney weren't crying: They'd made more than $100 million on a $5 million investment.

Then in 2000, right before Romney gave up his ownership stake in Bain Capital, the firm targeted KB Toys. The debacle that followed serves as a prime example of the conflict between the old model of American business, built from the ground up with sweat and industry know-how, and the new globalist model, the Romney model, which uses leverage as a weapon of high-speed conquest.

In a typical private-equity fragging, Bain put up a mere $18 million to acquire KB Toys and got big banks to finance the remaining $302 million it needed. Less than a year and a half after the purchase, Bain decided to give itself a gift known as a "dividend recapitalization." The firm induced KB Toys to redeem $121 million in stock and take out more than $66 million in bank loans – $83 million of which went directly into the pockets of Bain's owners and investors, including Romney. "The dividend recap is like borrowing someone else's credit card to take out a cash advance, and then leaving them to pay it off," says Heather Slavkin Corzo, who monitors private equity takeovers as the senior legal policy adviser for the AFL-CIO.

Bain ended up earning a return of at least 370 percent on the deal, while KB Toys fell into bankruptcy, saddled with millions in debt. KB's former parent company, Big Lots, alleged in bankruptcy court that Bain's "unjustified" return on the dividend recap was actually "900 percent in a mere 16 months." Patnode, by contrast, was fired in December 2008, after almost four decades on the job. Like other employees, he didn't get a single day's severance.

Under Romney's business model, leveraging other people's debt means you can carve out big profits for yourself and leave everyone else holding the bag. The only ones who profited in a big way from all the job-killing debt that Romney leveraged were Mitt and his buddies at Bain, along with Wall Street firms like Goldman and Citigroup.

This is corporate Communism at it’s best. It is a war on the Constitution and the Free Market. It pays off politicians to deregulate the market so corporate criminals can rape, pillage and plunder while giving a kickback to the politicians that enabled them.

The Federal Bailout That Saved Mitt Romney

Off Shore Tax Evasion:

An LA Times story follows Romney's recent acknowledgement to the National Review that he established funds in the Cayman Islands for the explicit purpose of helping wealthy investors avoid paying American taxes. Bain currently operates at least 138 shell companies headquartered in the Cayman Islands, which, like Panama, has long been associated with both legal and illegal tax machinations and money laundering.

While many of Bain's early investors lived outside the U.S., shell companies in Panama and the Cayman Islands can also help American taxpayers invest in U.S. companies without accruing a tax bill with the IRS. By establishing personal offshore entities, Americans can pose as foreign investors and avoid paying U.S. taxes on investments in American firms.

"Even a U.S. investor pretending to be a foreign investor, by using a Bermuda or Cayman Islands shell entity, can avoid U.S. tax this way," Wilkins said. "And we know that's going on. We know that U.S. investors are evading taxes by pretending to be foreigners."

The United States ratified a free trade agreement with Panama in 2011 which was negotiated by President George W. Bush and shepherded through Congress by President Barack Obama. The deal was heavily criticized by tax experts for preventing the U.S. from cracking down on improper tax schemes in Panama. Romney's trade policy platform calls for more agreements similar to the Panama pact.

Intelligence agencies used Panama shell companies to defruad $1.5 billion from Banco Ambrosiano through the Vatican bank in 1982. Here in Western Canada we know a convicted money launderer named Kourosh Ziaee who defrauded banks in Florida out of a million dollars. At least some of the money was laundered through the Italian bank account of a corporation Ziaee set up in Panama.

Sheldon Adelson,, Chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corp, is a major donor to the super PAC supporting presumed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney against President Barack Obama and plans to spend US$100 million (RM340 million) on Republican candidates in November’s elections.

Adelson, who owns casinos in Las Vegas, Macau and Singapore, began this campaign season as a major donor to Newt Gingrich before Gingrich dropped out of the Republican presidential race. He has since switched his support to Romney and last month was in Jerusalem with the candidate when Romney met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who Adelson also strongly supports.

Las Vegas Sands Corp, controlled by billionaire Republican donor Sheldon Adelson, is the target of a federal investigation into possible violations of US money-laundering laws, the Wall Street Journal reported August 6 2012.

The Los Angeles US attorney’s office is looking into the casino company’s handling of the receipt of millions of dollars from a Mexican businessman, later indicted in the United States for drug trafficking, and a former California businessman, later convicted of taking illegal kickbacks, the Journal said, citing lawyers and others involved in the matter. The transactions date from the mid-2000s.

Hells Angel with top secret clearance

Stephen Tucker the nose picker in the picture has left the Hells Angels in 2009 for undisclosed reasons. It is believed he left on good terms. When he left the Hells Angels he was secretary for the Fayetteville, North Carolina chapter. He was also a government contractor at Fort Bragg.

In 2009, Nick Prianos became a full patch member of the Fayetteville, North Carolina chapter. Sources claim he became the new secretary for the chapter at that time. Just like Tucker, he is a contractor for Fort Bragg. Prianos is employed by DS2 (Defense Support Services) where he provides contract work on military aircraft, as well as track and wheeled military vehicles. According to the Department of Defense, he holds a top secret clearance. That would be a red flag and a huge concern. A member of a criminal organization that sells drugs holding a top secret security clearance in the US military.

Fulton, Kentucky Hells Angels president plead guilty to distribution of crystal meth

Someone sent in an unclassified document that was law enforcement sensitive not for publication. Although it’s two years old and has been posted on the Internet, I’m not going to post the document because I’m not a Wikileaks kind of guy. Classified documents are classified. I will however, take some information from it and see what I can find on Google to expand our gang registry.

First stop is Trent Willet, a former marine and former president of the Hells Angels Kentucky, Fulton chapter. In 2009 he plead guilty to distribution of methamphetamines and was sentenced to 60 months in prison. Let us remember that back in the day, methamphetamines meant speed. Now it means crystal meth which is a highly addictive and toxic drug that is destroying lives and communities.

In Canada we don’t normally hear about Hells Angels drug convictions in the States but I think it’s important to highlight a few to clearly show the criminal organization pattern continues. We know that Greg Domley, the Salem Hells Angels president as well as the East Coast President was convicted of trafficking crystal meth.

This is a picture of Trent in his younger days. It doesn’t even look like the same person. This much we do know: Trent is a member of the Hells Angels and was convicted of trafficking crystal meth. He’s on the Hells angels Big House Crew and a Free Trent the drug dealer campaign was launched.

Billy Bowden get 8 years for drug trafficking

Billy Bowden, a former Hells Angels associate has just been sentenced to eight years for drug trafficking. He admitted to selling a kilo of cocaine to an old friend who turned out to be a police agent. Bowden, 36, was one of 13 people arrested in February 2012 as part of "Project Deplete."

Police seized about 6.9 kilograms of cocaine, 4.6 kg of crack cocaine, and 2.7 kg of methamphetamine. They also seized more than 9,800 tablets of ecstasy, about 500 tablets of oxycodone and about 900 grams of marijuana. The investigation went back to August 2011.

Crack and crystal meth. That is the biggest problem we now face in our communities. Mike on Crime is reporting Bowden joined the Hells Angels in July 2004, but was kicked out of the gang in 2006 following an internal dispute. That was when they killed his friend to let the Ontario Hells Angels take over the drug trade in Thompson and told him to suck it up or become a target.

Rumor had it he had crossed over to the Rock Machine and is very popular in his home town of Brandon. One news source claims one of the arrests in Project Deplete was of a guy named Jamie Christopher Korne who used to be a member of the Rock Machine but claimed to be president of Vagos in Canada. Vagos denied the guy ever became a full patch member let alone president or that Vagos are in Winnipeg. We do know Sean Brown was the National President of the reborn Rock Machine but there was a coup and they kicked him out “because he was a pussy.” Turns out that wasn’t entirely true. I am told what really happened was a bunch of young thugs took over the club and wanted to turn it into a gang which they did.

We know that Sean Brown ended up going over to Vagos in Toronto not Winnipeg. News reports claim he didn’t want to provoke the Hells Angels and wanted to stay out of Quebec as not to rekindle old animosity there. The news report claimed he wanted to stay away from the drugs which I can personally confirm they had posted on the RM web site when he was president. After the coup they took that part off and as we can now see in project Deplete, have returned full scale to the business of selling drugs.

We need to remember that in the year 2000, the founders of the Rock Machine as well as a few key leaders crossed over to join the Hells Angels to protect Mom Boucher’s interest in the club right before he went to prison. In 2008 Sean Brown relaunched the Rock Machine with the same Eagle’s head just with different colors – white and black instead of yellow. It actually looked awesome. So Sean Brown relaunching the Rock Machine in 2008 and the young thugs who kicked him out and took it over shortly thereafter means that it’s new kids and they are back in the business of selling drugs. I think Sean Brown had the right idea. Too bad the coup couldn’t see that. Unfortunately, Vagos uses the same Nazi lightening bolts as the rest of them.

I just don’t get this juvenile obsession with omg patches that grown men have. If you want to ride go ahead. Just don’t sell drugs or use a patch to bully people. There is no L & R in the Hells Angels or any of their puppet clubs. Bacchus isn’t an MC. They’re just a drinking club who sell drugs for the Hells Angels in PEI.

Foreign ownership of Canadian Oil

It’s bad enough we don’t refine our own oil before putting it in a pipeline and shipping it out of Canada. It’s bad enough that the Enbridge Partnership is a Houston based company. It’s even worse that we might let Communist China buy our oil rights. Now we’re even considering giving our oil rights to Kuwait of all places. The insanity just never stops. Back in the day we had military invasions. Now we have corporate takeovers.

How about Canada keeps it’s own oil rights? There are a lot of protests going on in Central America right now about Canadian mining and oil companies going in and making money off their resources. Part of the protests are a little bit misguided. They claim when people in these small towns start getting money, they end up spending it on alcohol, gambling and prostitution. We don’t want that big city crime coming to our small town communities.

Basically they’re protesting against economic prosperity because they don’t think people there are socially responsible with their money. The thought is well meaning but a wee bit misguided. The real concern is Canadian companies going in and getting rich off their resources. Keep in mind this isn’t Canada or the Canadian government doing this. It’s a private company registered in Canada. So now the dirty dogs of Wall Street are starting to use Canada to further their real objective of Global Imperialism. That’s what we’re talking about. That’s why those dirty dogs want to privatize Mexico’s oil and get their greedy little mitts on all that revenue. So they can bring back Corporate Imperialism which as we have seen, ultimately leads to Corporate Communism. From one extreme to the other.

So now we’re going to do the same thing to ourselves. We are going to sell our oil rights to a private corporation based in a foreign country and once again go back to the days of being a colony. As far as I’m concerned, those days are over. We are a free republic now. There is no turning back.

At least Kuwait gives their own people a kickback in the form of lower gas prices. Not us. We let these oil companies rape us both ways. First they get rich off of our natural resources, then we let them screw us at the pump with obscene gas prices. That is so wrong.

We should nationalize our oil. We should keep those profits in Canada and use that money to pay down our debt, build roads, schools and hospitals. Imagine how we could lower taxes for every citizen if we nationalized our oil and used those profits to offset tax revenue. Oh that’s socialism you cry? No it’s not. This corporate imperialism is because we know where that leads.

At first glance the idea of building an oil pipeline isn’t a bad one. Until we take a look at Enbridge’s past history in Michigan and Wisconsin. That is a colossal concern. So that’s when we in BC say, hey, we want a little more cheddar if we are going to take all the environmental risk. After all, building a pipeline through BC doesn’t really create any jobs in BC once the pipeline is built.

As soon as we say we want a share in the profits, the Alberta premier says that’s crazy. So we say F you, we want to pull out of the deal. Then Harper say no, F you. You don’t have a say in the matter. I just rewrote the rules and paid for a smoke and mirrors committee then gave all the decision making powers to my Cabinet. Now that doesn’t sound very democratic. In fact as Michael Moore once said, it sounds a lot like the other ism they keep warning us about. Enbridge’s misinformation about the environmental risk isn’t very reassuring either.

BC Rail and BC Hydro

By far the biggest political corruption locally isn’t BC Rail it’s BC Hydro. I’m not talking about the privatization of Terasen Gas. That was just duplication. You already have guys from BC Hydro going to people’s homes to check the Hydro meters. Now you have another set of guys going to people’s homes to check the gas meters as well. It was more cost effective before.

Yet the privatization of Terasen Gas hasn’t caused the same avalanche of problems the privatization of the power brokers that sell power to BC Hydro has. That is how Gordon Campbell totally screwed us for generations to come. Most people, don’t realize BC Hydro was privatized. There was such a huge public outcry they split BC Hydro in two, privatized Terasen Gas and “left BC Hydro alone." Or so we thought.

In reality they left BC Hydro public but privatized the power brokers that sell power to BC Hydro at inflated rates. That is the inherit problem with privatization of public services. A private corporation is mandated to make a profit. It comes as no surprise to discover that the private power brokers sold power to BC Hydro at inflated rates. After all, that’s their mandate. To make a profit by ripping off consumers. Just like the big oil companies.

There has been media reports of BC Hydro's colossal debt that is ballooning out of control and keeps getting deferred. We are told that taxpayers will have to eventually bail them out. Either that or they will rationalize the deficit to privatize it completely so that black op will finally become complete.

BC Rail was the same old. The corrupt politicians sell off public assets to their friends at fire sale prices. Their friends then raise prices and make more money giving themselves huge salaries and a kickback to the dirty politicians that did the devil’s deal. We see the exact same thing with Gordon Campbell’s privatization of the power brokers. These are the same guys that were accused of false billing with Enron in California.

The Smart Meter scam is now completely out of control. On wood framed houses, putting a new smart Meter on an old wood framed base is a documented fire hazard. The logic solution, aside from abandon the project all together would be to start putting smart meters in new homes not ones already built. That would instantly deal with the liability of the fire hazard and it would be cost effective. When you build a new hoe, you need to put in a new meter anyways. That would only make sense.

Unfortunately, making sense isn’t on the table. They want to charge more for daytime usage so they want to proceed unilaterally with these flawed smart Meters that are setting wood framed houses on fire. Clearly, BC Hydro is no longer publically accountable and it should be. This should be Adrian Dix’s first order of business. To reverse the decision to privatize the power brokers that sell power to BC Hydro at inflated rates. If the power brokers and BC Hydro were once again the same entity as a public company, that devastating legacy of snowballing debt that Gordon Campbell has left us with would instantly be stopped.

The BC Rail scandal is peanuts in comparison. However, it would be nice to follow up on the initial money laundering charges that were dropped in the plea bargain where Gordon Campbell’s top aide were accused of laundering drug money through Victoria real estate. That should be publically examined.

Law Enforcement: Good versus Evil

I don’t want to distract from the euphoria of the moment regarding the fantastic job the police has recently done with the Kelowna Hells Angels’ clubhouse raid and the arrest of David Giles as well as the Kelowna Sergeant at arms. I do however, think it’s important to put it in perspective and look at the dual aspect of the struggle between good versus evil.

First is the external struggle that we can clearly see. Crack and crystal meth are horrible drugs. They are very damaging and very addictive. As a result they destroy lives and devastate communities. Some people argue that if the Hells Angels didn’t sell those drugs, someone else would. I disagree. Crystal meth is new to the East coast. Greg Domey was the Salem Hells Angels president as well as the entire east coast president. He was convicted of trafficking crystal meth. The Hells Angels were bringing crystal meth from California to Massachusetts.

Clearly the Hells Angels were the ones bringing crystal meth to a new market. Likewise in Canada, the Hells Angels are the ones using their big city bully powers to flood small towns with crack. They are creating new markets and destroying lives and communities in those small towns. In Kelowna Dave Habib posted a warning to parents on his facebook about drug dealers putting crystal meth in kids pixie sticks. Yet it was the Hells Angels who were caught running a huge crystal meth lab in Kelowna that was a major production point for the Okanagan.

Flooding the streets and small towns with crack and crystal meth is a clear example of good versus evil. It is an external struggle that we can clearly see. Yet there is another internal aspect of that struggle that is just as real but is much harder to see. Chicago was famous for it’s problems with organized crime. Al Capone and the organized crime were one thing. Corrupt politicians and police officers were another.

In all fairness, I don’t think we have the same problem with rank and file officers on the take as Chicago did. No doubt we have some. Edmonton PD was accused of leaking information to the Hells angels. Yet cases like Rob Sidhu and Ken Houston aren’t that common and even those were with former police officers. Yet I do think we have a problem of internal corruption involving politicians and government agencies that does rival Chicago back in the day.

Case in point, the leaked document showing that illegal drugs are no longer a priority for Canadian border agents. That is treason and shows how government agencies, controlled by corrupt politicians can do serious damage to the hard work of good law enforcement officers trying to make a difference. The Western Wind cocaine seizure is a prime example of that. A high ranking officer steps in to squash an important investigation. That is suspicious to say the least.

Due to a lack of resources, Canadian border agents have been told to stop looking for illegal drugs leaving the country and instead focus on stopping the export of illicit nuclear material and stolen cars. The directive, contained in an internal memo to Canada Border Service Agency man-agers that was obtained by Postmedia News, is unlikely to make officials in the U.S. and other countries very happy. But analysts say that in an age of finite resources, the agency has decided it makes more sense to target areas where it thinks it can make a difference.

Nuclear material and stolen cars? That is bizarre. The Harper government is the one trying to reopen the sale of Candu reactors to high risk countries giving them the capability of making nuclear weapons just like they did for China and India.

The pot for cocaine trade is a huge problem. For a government agency to be told not to prioritize that is treason. As is the Harper government issuing that mandate in the name of budget cuts. They are the ones that cut funding to the RCMP and the gang task force and gave $69 billion to the banks for a bailout they didn’t need. Since the banks are making such a big profit, they can start paying back that bailout instead of filling Stephen Harpers campaign contributions.

So we need to talk about corrupt politicians like Stephen Harper and Brian Mulroney as well as the corrupt agencies they control which stifle the hard work of good law enforcement officers trying to make a difference. Brian Mulroney and Stephen Harper are not corrupt because they are Conservatives. They are corrupt because they aren’t. They say one thing and do another. Brian Mulroney sued the Canadian government for slander for claiming he received a kickback from Airbus. He point blank lied about his relationship with Karl Schreiber and thereby defrauded Canadian tax payers out of $2 million. That is just the tip of the iceberg to Brian Mulroney’s corruption. Harper cutting funding for the RCMP, Gang Task force, Coast Guard, Prisons and Border Agents is another concern. So much for law and order.

We do have to look at Operation Fast and Furious,. It isn’t just an Obama thing but it is also an Obama thing. Just like George Bush SR.’s cocaine trafficking out of Mena Arkansas was also a Bill Clinton thing. Clinton’s ties to the crash of the BCCI is a serious concern we need to look at because we saw it repeat itself in Operation Wide Receiver and Operation Fast and Furious. That kind of internal corruption is harder to see but just as real. The struggle between good and evil continues on both fronts - externally as well as internally.

Rats leaving a sinking ship

Front page of today’s Vancouver Province was about more Liberal MLAs leaving a sinking ship. A guy at work sees the headline in the lunchroom and says to me, hey, you’re up on politics. Why are all the MLAs resigning? I just laughed and said rats leaving a sinking ship. Haven’t you seen the polls? He shook his head and said no. They know they’re not going to get re elected so they’re jumping ship. Also because that one MLA who crossed over is brining the BC Rail case back to court and they’re all running for cover.

Today’s news is about Kevin Falcon quitting. That’s interesting. He runs for the leadership of the party, loses, then quits politics. Why do I find that suspicious? He better not be planning on going over to the Provincial Conservatives. That guy is a Gordon Campbell clone and is part of the problem. We can’t have him poison a good thing. The last thing we need is for Gordon Campbell’s rats to infest John Cummings new hope.

Breaking news is George Abbott, Mary McNeil and John Les have just added their names to the list. I have two points to make. John van Dongen and Dave Hayer are good men. John van Dongen was a good AG. He crossed over to join John Cummings conservatives and started legal action about BC Rail. He’s solid. Dave Hayer is less confrontational and simply announced he’s not going to run for re election. He’s finishing his term that he was elected to. Dave Hayer is a good man. His father was a reporter who was murdered for reporting about the Air India bombing.

The other rats jumping ship are Gordon Campbell scum. Kevin Falcon is not right wing. Stop saying that. He supported the gas tax and the HST. John Cummings doesn’t. John Cummings support small business and a free market. Kevin Falcon and the rest of his Gordon Campbell scum do not.

The other point I’d like to make is that this current mess is not Christy Clark’s fault. She was those rats best chance to resurrect the party after Gordon Campbell drove it to drink. We can’t blame Gordon Campbell’s mess on Christy Clark any more than we can blame Brian Mulroney’s mess on Kim Campbell. The nose dive in the polls is a natural consequence of cruel arrogance the whole party has displayed.

Canadian Taxpayers Federation slams retiring BC MLAs’ $13 million pension haul

Meanwhile Christy Clark is in the news as Geoffrey Cowper, chair of a review of the justice system, released his report claiming that it was time for "systemic and wide-ranging change." The report claims the B.C. criminal legal system needs a major overhaul, five more provincial judges to reduce case backlogs, and a radical new management system. A new management system. I’m not sure what that means but if it means making BC Judges publically accountable then I’m all for it. That is long over due. Peter Leask should be hanged and Anne McKenzie should be fired.

Human torso found in Niagara River

Sympatico news is reporting that Niagara Regional Police announced a female torso was recovered from the river in Niagara Falls, near the Rainbow Bridge border crossing. Investigators said the discovery was not related to the ongoing investigation into the death of Hua Guang Liu, whose body parts were discovered in two Toronto-area parks in recent weeks.

Police said passersby spotted the floating torso on Wednesday and alerted officers. Police have not recovered any limbs or the woman's head. Niagara police said an autopsy suggests it belongs to a middle-aged Caucasian woman, who was the victim of homicide. Tragic.

We know the Niagara Hells Angels were intensely involved in the drug trade there. I wonder if this homicide is drug related. Hua Guang Liu's estranged boyfriend, has been charged with second-degree murder in that case. She was a mother of three starting her own business. Very sad.

Kelowna Hells Angel turns himself in to Police

Brian Oldham, the sergeant-at-arms for the Kelowna Hells Angels has turned himself in at the Burnaby RCMP detachment Tuesday after a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest following David Giles' arrest. Oldham has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The charges follow a 21-month investigation into allegations that marijuana grown in B.C.'s southeast was being sold in B.C. and elsewhere to fund the import of cocaine to Canada. The investigation "benefited from contributions" from Mounties in the Okanagan, as well as from U.S. law enforcement, Mexican federal police and Panamanian authorities.

Nigel Wright and Barrick Gold

Pointed questions are beginning to swirl around Nigel Wright, Prime Minister Stephen Harper's chief of staff, and whether he used his position to further the financial interests of friends at Barrick Gold Corp.

Wright has known Barrick founder and board chairman Peter Munk for years and is particularly close to his son, Anthony, who sits on Barrick's board of directors. In a 2011 magazine article, Peter Munk disclosed that Wright is godfather to Anthony Munk's son. Wright worked with Anthony at Onex Corp., the private equity investment giant from which Wright has taken a leave of absence to work for Harper.

Wright also served as a director on the board of the Aurea Foundation, a "charitable" foundation established by Peter Munk and his wife in 2006 to support the study and development of public policy. A charitable lobbyist group. You’ve got to be kidding.

Ok all of that is indeed a flaming conflict of interest. However, two important points emerge. First is the fact that the Harper government’s conflict of interest in lobbying for Barrick gold goes far beyond Nigel Wright. Second is the fact that Barrick gold’s media machine is rewriting history. They are leaving out the part about how Barrick gold was created by the dirty arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi who was tied to Iran Contra and the crash of the BCCI. It was arms dealing, drug smuggling, money laundering and investment fraud tied to high ranking politicians. Barrick gold is just a grown up version of Bandera Gold.

Back in 2008 the Green Party reported: Peter Munk is Chairman of Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr. Mulroney is a Director of Barrick since 1993, and is Chairman of Barrick’s International Advisory Board. Three times in the past year, the Harper government has intervened to further the economic interests of Mr. Munk and Mr. Mulroney.

The third intervention occurred this week when finance minister Jim Flaherty took what the Globe and Mail (May 7, page B1) called “the unusual step of intervening” by phoning CIBC executives to pressure them to settle up with Barrick Gold Corporation over a dispute over losses related to the current asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) meltdown. Clearly this conflict of interest goes far beyond Nigel. It goes straight to Lyin Brian Mulroney who defrauded Canadian taxpayers out of a $1.2 million out of court settlement which was based on his perjury around kickback mountain.

13 Hells Angels plead guilty to murder

Thirteen members of the Hells Angels pleaded guilty Monday to charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder at the Gouin courthouse in Montreal. They were arrested in an April 2009 police sweep, the culmination of Operation SharQc, a three-year investigation of the Hells Angels drug and gang activity in Quebec and New Brunswick. Ten are full-patch members of the Hells Angels' chapter in Sherbrooke, two others are associate members of the Montreal chapter and one is from the South chapter.

The Crown dropped 22 murder charges against 13 Hells Angels members and associates in exchange for guilty pleas that will cut their sentences in half. Eleven of the accused received sentences ranging from six to 11 years in prison. The remaining two, Yves Laforêt et Guy Lemoyne, will be sentenced on Oct. 26. Those who pleaded guilty will be unable to seek parole until they have served at least half of their sentence.

A publication ban prevents media from revealing details about the nature and extent of their involvement in killings during the bloody biker war, in which 165 criminals and bystanders were killed from 1994 to 2002. Several members of the Hells Angels chapter from Sherbrooke, QC, are scheduled to be tried en masse this fall.

Publication ban. That is not right. Guy Rodrigue is a founding member of the Hells Angels Sherbrooke chapter. In 1987, he was convicted for his role in the murders of five members of the North Chapter (Laval) Hells Angels. Also known as the Lennoxville Massacre. Rodrigue was sentenced to four years in prison.

From 1994 to 2002, says in a statement on the Quebec government issued yesterday, he was party to 22 plots of murder, "and he had personally ordered several" in order to increase market share Hells Angels in drug trafficking. I appears that Rodrigue is still at large and is on Quebec's 10 most wanted list. Here's a video clip of him. If you see him, call it in.

Davie Giles – BUSTED!

Now that made my day. David Giles and three co-accused, Kevin Van Kalkeren, James Howard and Michael Read, have each been charged with cocaine trafficking and conspiracy to traffic in cocaine. Castanet has a video clip of the Press conference. That is the crown jewel of the 2012 Kelowna Summer Jam. Word. No matter how the race is run it always ends the same. Another room without a view waits downtown. Just about the time you're thinkin' it's alright, Breakdown, takedown, you're BUSTED.

Police seized $4 million in cash, firearms and eight kilograms of cocaine from several locations including a hidden compartment in a vehicle. Giles was taken into custody at the Grand Villa Casino and Hotel in Burnaby over the weekend. Also facing charges is Brian Oldham, a Hells Angels sergeant-at-arms in Kelowna. He remains at large and a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.

I sure wouldn’t call him quintessential. Although the idea of a pure evil is an interesting concept, he’s the behind the scenes puppet master. He benefitted from the Lenoxville massacre. He was implicated in the Western Wind seizure. He was caught on wire bragging about how Revelle made him $30,000.00 in a few months. He’s not quintessential, he’s the dirty dog. The driving force behind Dale the drag queen’s lies. David Giles is Skeletor. He calls himself the Gyrator but I call him the Rusty Vibrator. Here's a link to some photos of him.

“These groups show a complete disregard for Canadian families, and public safety,” says Superintendent Brian Cantera of the RCMP Drug Enforcement Branch in B.C. Very true. They don’t care who gets killed or who gets tortured as long as they get rich at someone else’s expense. Well done officers. Thank you.

From coast to coast a toast to the host we hate the most

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that Giles was in court today wearing a black t-shirt with a skull on it. Skeletor was wearing a skull shirt. Go figure. I hear Pat James is starting a Free David Giles facebook group just like they did for Matt Foley. I hear these are the new support shirts they’re selling to raise money for Giles’ legal fees. Or should I say bibs.

We need to talk about the social awakening that has resulted in the shattering of two misconceptions that this drug bust represents. First is the ridiculous claim that the Hells Angels aren’t criminals, they’re just a bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts. People here can’t even quote that with a straight face. Everyone here knows that is absurd. All these drug convictions speak for themselves.

Freddy just posted a link to a court challenge in the US where the Hells Angels are appealing their criminal organization status there. Well, they’ve already done that in Canada and lost. The long list of drug convictions shows that is their primary business. The freedom of association means we are free to join a religious or political party of our choosing. It does not mean we are free to engage in organized crime. We know why they are appealing their criminal organization status. They don’t want their proceeds of crime seized by the police.

Sad to think they were ready to kill John Punko just because he might lose his criminal org appeal. To think they would pull a Juel Stanton just to postpone their criminal org status in BC. That really is pathetic. It would be ironic indeed if it was David Giles who became the first Hells Angels criminal organization conviction in BC. I wonder if they’ll shoot him right before the verdict just to avoid that decision.

The next shattered misconception this drug bust represents is the ridiculous claim that rating out a crack dealer is being a rat. That is insane. Crack dealers are rats. Failing to report them is being a rat. The people who murdered Britney Irving and Geoff Meisner are the real rats. Reporting those murderers to the police isn’t being a rat. Failing to do so is. People understand that now. As a result, these two shattered misconceptions means our new social awakening will no doubt bring us into a new era where crime is not cool any more.

Crack and Crystal meth are very addictive and very damaging drugs. The organized criminals who make an obscene amount of money from flooding our streets and small towns with that kind of invasive poison need to be restrained. Ratting out a rat makes this world a better place.

Reflections on the Kelowna Summer Jam

As we anxiously await the Press conference about what was seized in the Kelowna Hells Angels raid, I just wanted to reflect on what started off as the Kelowna Summer Jam. The name of the event was taken from a Young Jeezy and Akon song where he says if ya get jammed up, don’t mention my name.

Recently the Hells Angels were implicated in a drug related murder in Dawson Creek which indeed opens a can of worms regarding a long string of drug related violence in that community. Recently a former associate of Tony Terezakis was shot dead in Surrey. Likely his murder had nothing to do with that case but it does once again show a Hells Angels connection to another string of drug related murders.

Big Tony’s case was very disturbing. Not just because of the murder of informants that connected the Hells Angels to the crack cocaine trade in East Vancouver, but because of his personal use of violence against drug addicts in East Van. Big Tony was a drug dealer for the Hells Angels in East Van. The guy video taped himself beating the life out of drug addicts who owed him money. As he beat them he would shout praise the lord and spit in their face. When they played the videos in court Tony couldn’t hold back the laughter. That is clearly deranged.

It also shows the violent mistreatment of drug addicts in East Van. Handing out free needles and free crack pipes doesn’t make the drugs free. Feeding those addictions feeds the violence and exploitation that goes along with it. Making money off the poorest and most vulnerable in the country is very low. Which brings us back to the Kelowna Summer Jam.

Britney Irving did not deserve to die. She didn’t rat out anyone. She sold pot to support her oxy addiction and was killed right after she made the decision to go into rehab. Geoff Meisner didn’t deserve to die. His kids miss him dearly. Geoff didn’t steal anything from anyone. Just as concerning as their senseless murders is the absurd lies that went along with them trying to hide and rationalize the real motive. Greed.

Vancouver is often referred to as lotus land. Despite the beautiful surroundings, many people here are materialistic yuppies. They care more about what they have then what they do. Adam Scorgie made a movie about the wealth associated with the pot industry. He didn’t mention a word about the Hells Angels use of violence to control that industry.

He talked about working in a club and seeing young guys with tons of cash come into the club and buy everyone drinks. He saw the draw of that kind of money very appealing. Sad. Wasting that kind of money on booze in a bar or on a new ugly suv is a very shallow existence and no reason to betray a friend. Strange how he would idolize that knowing in the end it killed people he knew in his own community.

Which brings us back to Dain Philips. Dain didn’t deserve to die either. The Hells Angels involvement in his murder is indisputable. Two patch members and one puppet club associate were seen beating him to death with hammers. As a result, the club has pulled back their public support and the two patch members have been beaten in prison.

I don’t support crack or crystal meth. Nor do I support the crime and violence that go along with it. I don’t support the Hells Angels violent control of the pot industry either or their extortion of the entire 420 movement. Supporting that violence is wrong. Completely and utterly.

In the words of Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 2 "Follow the rich white man."

Extortion: Money for Nothing

In Denmark, there has been a series of articles in the news about gangs committing extortion. One story in particular involves a 67 year old woman being targeted. That’s pretty low. Several taverns in Copenhagen were being charged protection money. Jane Pedersen, the 67 year old owner of the Café Viking refused. The good news is that with the added media attention, the gangs seem to have backed off a bit. Bullies don’t want exposure.

Michael Green from TBM talked about extortion in the news and pointed out that you really don’t get anything for your money. Just like that old Dire Straights song, Money for Nothing. I have to agree. As much as I am opposed to selling crack, at least drug dealers are selling a product. Extortion is indeed money for nothing. Pay us this money or you might have an accident. That’s just as bad as selling crack.

I hear it is common in Montreal and they call it Pizzo. Well, I’m not from Montreal, I’m from Vancouver and the only Pizza I know about is the kind that comes with pepperoni and cheese. Extortion is what parasites do. They live off others and suck them dry.

Another form of extortion is insane interest on loans. One gambler in Montreal borrowed $20,000 and repayed $15,000 within seven months. He was told that was just the interest and was beaten with a hammer when he started making more payments. That wasn’t the Italians in was the Irish (West end gang).
