Sunrise: The Morning Breaks, the Shadows flee

This morning as I was making a quick trip to Superstore for breakfast before sunrise I saw a bright orange glow behind the mountains on the horizon. I like sunrises. They inspire hope. I'm going to miss Vancouver but I look forward to exploring new horizons in a new promised land.

I love the mountains and I always thought it would be hard to leave them. For us, like many others its just the math. Vancouver has become too expensive to live. There's no hope for my kids here so it's time for us to leave. The mountains are beautiful but they're too crowded now.

Getting a day pass to visit Golden Ears in the summer is like winning the lottery. It's ridiculous. Sometimes I can squeeze my bike in over at Lynn Canyon but if you have a car, not a chance. What good are all these beautiful places if you can't access them when you want to?

It's nice to see the sun again. Mother Teresa used to say Behind the dark clouds the sun is still shining. We realize that but it's been raining for like 3 months. A little sunshine once in while brightens up the landscape. It's easy to get distracted by the mist of darkness.

That's why it's always important to aspire to something higher. My last post talked about the dark side of Mossad. Something I didn't think I'd ever talk about. Yet we see in history that pride comes before the fall. Mossad and the CIA has become very prideful. Their persistent lies covering their dark deeds will not last forever. Truth will eventually prevail and every secret work of darkness will be brought to light. Welcome to the real world soldier. Catch you on the rise.

    1. I don't see any. In the picture I posted is inversion. I'm not too worried about Chemtrails. Cloud seeding is very real. Weather modification is a concern. Causing forest fires with preignitions is a concern. So is replacing water bombers with helicopters and tiny buckets. That is far more concerning to me.

    1. Nowhere yet. Getting my finances in order and my kids gathered for a move in the near future to the free state. My kids have asked me not to post where. They want a fresh start and I plan on giving it to them. We're getting away from the 15 minute cities and are going rural. Right now that's the only thing that makes sense.

  4. It's sad this is what has become of Vancouver.
A playground for the world's rich, be damned its own long-term citizens.
Vancouver is a failure and it exemplifies what greed and developers can do to an area if left unchecked, there is no stopping it now.
Vancouver likes to refer to itself as an environmentally friendly city. Nothing could be further from the truth, all this promoted growth and tear down high density development has extreme consequences on our natural environment.
Water demands, sewage demands, electrical demands all pushed to the limits in order for developers and the Turd to have his way. Yes this is his "secret sauce " he so eloquently refers to when talking of Canada's economy.
I believe in capitalism but there is no denying its ugly side left unchecked.
RIP Vancouver, change was inevitable but so sad it was so poorly managed.

    1. Most of the area like North Vancouver is land locked. There isn't room for growth. Toronto has a much larger population. My beef is all these beautiful outdoor getaways are becoming too busy and you have to find new getaways in more rural areas. You can look at the mountains from your condo but good luck getting a parking spot.

When you look at the price of gas, that's not free market capitalism. That's Corporate Communism based on corporate monopolies that destroy a free market.

  5. When Canadian citizens purchasing a home are having to compete with international dollars that were made with no regard for human labor laws or environmental regulations that is not a free market either! WE have allowed this country to be sold to the highest bidders.

    1. Foreign investment is part of it but every large city is very expensive to live in. Just look at New York. Another reason is the BC government cracking down on money laundering at casinos. They meant well but it kind of backfired. It didn't stop money laundering. They just moved from casinos to real estate. At least when they were laundering money in casinos it didn't affect the cost of housing.

    2. Well, we didn't "allow" it directly, they stole it. Our political class has had their hand out for Chinese money for 30 years. There is a list somewhere online.

    3. Yes they have but it's not just China. The WEF is even worse.

  6. I beg to differ......we allowed it.

When in the last 30 years have we held our levels of government accountable?

They laugh at our resolve. It's gone with the next fake news cycle.
Canadians are the least "aware" population in the world by quite a margin.
Too many years of good living has made us comfortably numb.
We are a bunch of virtue signaling losers!
I hope we finally get our heads out of our asses before the country is gone.

  7. Agreed. Perhaps they could change the law so that only Canadian citizens can own Canadian Residential Real Estate, no proxies. All those foreign owned properties coming on the market in the period after such a law was passed would definitely lead to a badly needed drop in the average market price.
