Tyrone McDougall is a flaming idiot

Here's another flaming idiot from Surrey. Tyrone McDougall is on the Dirty alright. Twice. Seems like even the police don't recognize the empire gang as legitimate because in two bit Tyrone’s latest arrest they said it was drug related not gang related. Our Gang’s little rascals known as the empire gang are just a couple of Surrey crack head car thieves.

He wants to be friends with little white rock Ryan and the chipmunks alright. Wait a minute isn't that Larry Amero in little Ryan's display pic? Didn't Larry get shot and isn't he in hiding? A Surrey punk ass car thief crack head using the Whiterock Hells Angels name and reputation to kidnap, torture and rip off a rival crack dealer in Surrey. Imagine that. Perhaps those kids should just go play in traffic.

Wally Oppal seen with Hells Angel Member

Come on guys, give the guy a break. Wally says he didn’t know the guy was a member of the Hells Angels. He was probably just collecting his fee for banning any evidence about the Hells Angels from being admitted into the Inquiry.

For an eminent jurist, Mr. Oppal can be remarkably insensitive. In 1992, when he was a B.C. Supreme Court justice, he appeared at a boozy, men-only dinner hosted by members of the Vancouver Police Department, an annual fund-raiser called the Gentlemen’s Regimental Dinner. He cracked wise about an alleged rape victim, a woman who had come before him at trial.

“In my business, one of the great benefits is that we get to listen to a lot of great cross-examinations,” Mr. Oppal told his audience. “You get a lot of seedy and scintillating material. I want to give you a sample…”

Mr. Oppal then described, in great detail and to much laughter, what the alleged rape victim said she had experienced. The event was tape recorded and was later recounted in the pages of Saturday Night magazine, which also published a reaction from then-VPD chief Bill Marshall, who had attended the dinner. “That was a really difficult night for me,” the chief said. “I’m trying to deal with those attitudes, but I need time. We just can’t have that kind of stuff any more.”

Crews working to contain Alberta pipeline spill

Crews were scrambling to contain a pipeline leak in Alberta that may have spilled as much as 475,000 liters of crude oil into a tributary of the Red Deer River. This is not good. Don't, they have shut off valves within the pipeline? Not a good omen for the new pipeline to the coast. Surely they can build a pipeline with shut off valves every once and a while so they can stop the spill if the pipeline breaks. This is just irresponsible.

Evidently there was another large pipeline spill in Alberta last year.

Three cheers for Jacques Villeneuve!

Jacques Villeneuve, the Quebec-born car-racing champion, is upset at a protest movement that has gone on for months and is now promising to turn up at Formula One Grand Prix events in Montreal all weekend. In a five-minute exchange with reporters Thursday, Villeneuve urged the protesters to go back to school. He suggested they were lazy. He called them an embarrassment to Canada — especially to Quebec. He suggested they were badly raised, by parents who never learned to say, 'No.' Thank god for the voice of reason. What happens when you raise a kid and never tell them no? They turn into spoilt brats.

"It's time for people to wake up and stop loafing about. It's lasted long enough," Villeneuve told reporters at a cocktail benefit that kicked off the four-day Grand Prix festivities. "We heard them. We listened. They should stop. It's costing the city a fortune. It makes no sense."

As for their parents, Villeneuve said: "I think these people grew up without ever hearing their parents ever tell them, 'No.' So that's what you see in the streets now. People spending their time complaining. It's becoming a little bit ridiculous. They spoke, we heard, and now it's time to go back to school."

Three cheers. Someone finally had the balls to say it. So what do the KIDs do? You called us brats? How dare you! We will show you brats. We will throw stones. We will break things. We will kick and scream and throw a tantrum in the middle of the mall and we will Embarrass. You’ll embarrass us alright. You’re embarrassing Quebec, Canada and yourself.

Je me souviens isn't supposed to mean I will remember I am a spoilt brat. Je me souviens is supposed to men I will remember who I am. I will remember I am not a spoilt brat. I will remember that am better than that. A social conscience mean I think about and care about other people than just myself. The elderly, the homeless, a medical system and a pension system ready to collapse. Free university education is a worthy goal not a right. We have to decide which other social, programs will suffer to pay for the brats free ride. Maybe we should tell them no. Maybe that is the best lesson they could possibly learn in their life. Sometimes we have to work hard and sacrifice because we don't get everything we want when we want it in the real world.

Montreal Madness: Little Bo Peep and her mindless lost sheep

I will NOT wear a Red Patch. That represents the wrong side of the Berlin wall.

They may forget but I will remember.

Outlaws beat up Hells Angels prospect

Although I don’t support gang violence, here’s a story about some Outlaws in San Francisco who beat up a guy for being a Hells Angels prospect. It just shows you that the Hells angels are not infallible and do have enemies out there.

We remember a member of the Monglos was convicted of shooting and killing the president of the San Francisco Hells Angels. We also remember how the Hells Angels tried to pick a fight with Vagos in Nevada. After losing the fist fight a Hells Angels pulled out a gun and they lost the gun fight too. Jeffrey "Jethro" Pettigrew, the 51-year-old head of the Hells Angels San Jose chapter died as a result. At his funeral they started fighting with and shooting each other. It’s rather messed up n’est pas?

Grow op Degrees and the Hells Angels

The other day I saw an add in the paper for a seminar at UBC on how to get a license for a medicinal marijuana grow op. A few days later the Vancouver Province ran a story about the guy hosting the seminar. Turns out he’s from Kelowna.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that he’s from the Hells Angels retirement village and that he’s hosting seminars in major Canadian cities where the Hells Angels are well entrenched and control the drug trade. Yet the question we have to ask ourselves is if someone gets a license for a legitimate medicinal marijuana grow op, how can they protect themselves from being taken over and extorted by the Hells Angels? What’s stopping this company from giving the addresses of everyone who gets a medical grow op degree to the Hells Angels? That would be the first concern we need to address.

Uncle Joe in Kelowna owned a house that contained a grow op. He got off because he said he rented the house to someone else and the tenants were the ones responsible for the grow op. Even though his truck was parked outside with a Hells Angels bumper sticker on it and the grow op had Hells Angels stickers posted on the walls inside. Since the Hells Angels use such violence to forbid anyone else but them from selling pot in East Van, one has to wonder what Uncle Joe was doing on his way to Salmon arm with a couple of associates and a car load of weapons with a cell phone jammer. Ironic an abandoned grow op was found in Salmon arm shortly thereafter.

Cross border gang forum

Senior police officials from both sides of the border met in Surrey on Monday to discuss border security and to develop co-operative strategies to fight organized crime. Justice Minister Shirley Bond said the purpose of the daylong B.C.-Washington Organized Crime Forum was to share information and strengthen relationships in the face of an increasingly sophisticated gang culture.

Chief John Batiste of the Washington State Patrol added that strong relation-ships will ensure there are fewer cracks in the border that can be exploited. "Whether it is a foreign terrorist, a gunrunner or a drug-dealer, a threat to either of our countries is a threat to both of our countries," he said. "This kind of meeting, this kind of situational awareness, this kind of co-operation, these are our best tools in fighting those who would exploit the border for their own criminal gain."

I have two points here. One from either side of the border. On the south I am convinced that there are some DEA agents who are sincere. Judge Bonner was one of them. From the Robert Shannon conviction and the Trevor Jones indictment, it is clear that the department is sincerely trying to make a difference and address the cross border cocaine trafficking problem.

Yet we cannot talk about the cross border drug trafficking problem without discussing Operation Fast and Furious as well as Operation Wide Receiver. This kind of internal corruption is not new. We cannot discuss the cross border drug trafficking problem without discussing those operations.

Likewise, on the north, we are not free from allegations of internal corruption. The BC liberals have numerous corruption allegations which puts them as a security risk for intel on the drug trade. We need look no further than the Basi Virk case.

Shirley Bond was Deputy Premier when the “deal” was made to chop the (unfinished) trial in order to prevent cross-examination of top politicos and corporate actors and to pay the costs of the convicted men – Dave Basi and Bobby Virk. Her role as Attorney General in blocking the release of documents relevant to that case is suspect.

The Pickton Inquiry ends but the controversy continues

The Missing Women Inquiry has come to an end. Words cannot describe the heartbreak, anger and resentment that circus side show has revealed. We knew Wally Oppal was the wrong choice to head the inquiry. He lost his reelection because of the horrible job he did as AG.

We knew the inquiry would be a circus side show distracting the public from the real issue. Robert Pickton was convicted on the premise that he was not the only person involved. He was convicted on the premise that he was an active participant. The mandate of the inquiry should have been what happened. All the evidence should have been made public not swept under the carpet.

Wally Oppal’s arrogance is offensive. His moonlighting as an actor on a slasher movie was outrageous. Wally Oppal denied huge amounts of highly relevant evidence from being admitted to the inquiry. He denied important witnesses from testifying. He stopped the lawyer for the missing women’s families from discussing the Hells angels known presence on the Pickton Farm.

What could Dave Pickton tell us? Well he told the police where the bodies were buried so the police wouldn’t dig up his whole farm and find out what else they had buried in there. The fact that the Hells Angels had a grow op on site as well as an illegal booze can was highly relevant. The fact that various police agencies had the Hells angels on the Pickton farm under surveillance is very relevant. Refusing to make that evidence public was treason. Wally Oppal is a scoundrel who has committed treason and in so doing has become an accessory to murder.

The only good thing that came from this inquiry is the public discussion of the evidence that Wally Oppal refused to admit. The Hells Angels’ involvement with the Pickton Farm was significant and now the world finally knows it.

Sun News Network in on fake ceremony

Participants in a citizenship reaffirmation ceremony appeared in a photo posted on the immigration department's Twitter feed last October. Six federal bureaucrats were drafted to appear as new Canadians for the ceremony on a private TV network.

Ok hold the door. A private TV network? Broadcasting the news? A “private” news outlet broadcasting propaganda for the Harper government. Things that make ya go hmmm. Fox News North. OK let’s back up a bit. Stephen Harper’s Immigration Minister Jason Kenney sets up a fake citizenship swearing in ceremony and bureaucrats take the place of actual new Canadians during a televised citizenship ceremony last fall.

That’s rather bizarre all on it’s own. Why on earth not televise a real swearing in ceremony? Why on the earth would someone fake that for ascetics? The “private” network denied knowing they were fake stand-ins at the time. Kenny’s staff even went on Twitter and in various media outlets saying neither Sun News nor the minister's office knew about the stand-in bureaucrats and even apologized on air to the network. The network had said its viewers were "deceived" by a bureaucrat. Now we find out that is simply not true. Sun TV did know. It is inconceivable to believe Kenny didn’t know.

On it’s own it’s not earth shattering but put together with a bizarre list of abnormalities we see a disturbing picture emerge. The whole concept of brainwashing voters with propaganda as opposed to polling the electorate disturbs me greatly. Saying one thing, doing another then spending huge amounts of tax dollars trying to convince voters lies are truth. That pattern is concerning. The robocalls thing is disturbing. Dean Del Mastro and other Tories hired U.S. telemarketer during election, contrary to Stephen Harper’s claims. Conservatives are supposed to support democracy yet these conservatives are doing the exact opposite. That’s because they are not conservatives.

I don’t want to go on and on about how we should elect a new political party. That’s obvious. What I do want to stress is that the Conservative party needs new leadership. Desperately. This leadership has apostatized from traditional conservative values completely and utterly.

In today’s news we read of scientists adding their concern about more cuts from the Harper government. What we see is dramatic extremism. We see very strange dramatic cuts on one hand and amazingly reckless spending on the other. Just look at Peter McKay’s $47,000.00 photo shoot in today’s news. Again for advertizing. He’s trying to sell us on a huge undisclosed expenditure on a whole fleet of jets that aren’t designed to be used in the arctic. This conflicted sale is to Harper lobbyists.

We all agree we need some jets but a whole fleet of jets that can’t be used in the arctic? Instead of being used to defend Canada one has to assume their purpose is to perpetuate the oil wars like in Iraq and Libya. There is no other reason for their purchase. Conservatives are supposed to support a strong military. While Harper’s partner in crime is gallivanting around the country on ridiculous expenses trying to promote an insane expenditure, he is at the same time cutting funding for the military. Cutting their pensions, cutting their mental health support. Even closing coast guard stations.

What we are seeing is a raging lunatic in action. He gets elected on a tough on crime platform, then cuts funding for the RCMP and the gang task force. Introduces a ridiculous crime bill that targets nonviolent offenders making it fiscally impossible for us to target violent offenders then cuts funding for prisons and closes a huge institution with no replacement whatsoever. This man is a lunatic.

Giving up our pensions and raising the age of retirement to pay for a $65 billion bank bailout Harper denies doing? That is insane. The Conservative party needs new leadership. Don’t get me started on Harpers doom and gloom about the Greek Bailout. Stop supporting investment fraud with tax dollars.

And then there’s this whole assault on the environment. It’s rather bizarre.

The 2012 Transit of Venus

On a lighter note, for all you astronomers out there, Venus is eclipsing the sun as we speak. For us in the Pacific Northwest it happens from 6:45 PM until sunset. Venus can be seen as a sunspot on the sun that gradually moves across it over a six hour period. Don't look directly at the sun. Sunglasses aren't good enough. You need a welder’s glass or punch a whole in a piece of cardboard and use that to project the image on a blank piece of paper. Yet for us in the Pacific Northwest, it's raining so we'll have to watch it online or on TV.

Body Parts delivered to two Vancovuer schools

A day after the suspect in a gruesome Montreal killing and dismemberment was arrested in Berlin, Vancouver police said a human hand and foot were delivered in separate packages to two area schools. Vancouver Police Deputy Chief Warren Lemcke told reporters Tuesday afternoon the first package containing what appeared to be a human hand was opened by a staff member at False Creek Elementary School shortly after 1 p.m. local time.

Another package containing what appeared to be a human foot was found by staff members at St. George's School later Tuesday afternoon. "There is no indication of identity (of the victim) at this time," Lemcke said at a news conference. Freaking wackos.

Turns out that the hand and foot sent to Vancouver schools were from the same victim of the whacko who sent other body parts to Ottawa.

Hells Angels targeted in Winnipeg, Germany and Australia

Police have made their 26th arrest in its Project Flatlined targeting the Winnipeg Hells Angels and their puppet club the Redline Support crew. Police said Jared James Irving, 26, was arrested and taken into custody for an outstanding warrant. He has been charged with participating in or contributing to a criminal organization. Police are still looking for 27-year-old Jesse Richard Thomas.

In Germany, police raided dozens of properties as part of a major investigation into the Hells Angels motorcycle club. The operation targeted 80 properties, including brothels and pubs.

In Australia, the multi-billion dollar Visy packaging company is allegedly using the Hells Angels to collect bad debts and act as "problem solvers". Senior police sources told the Herald Sun police intelligence files have recorded links between Visy and the notorious bikie gang, and detectives are monitoring the connection. What on earth are they riding? That’s a yellow sports bike with not only a full face helmet but a dirt bike helmet. Wow. Times have sure changed. Flower power.

Berlin bans Hells Angels, raid details leaked: Here's an interesting one someone sent in. Germany bans the Hells Angels for criminal activity. Before they implement the raid an informant warns the Hells Angels so they have to execute the raid earlier then they had originally planned. "Unfortunately we have to assume that people from our own ranks gave information to these criminals in return for money,” a police spokesman said, adding that the betrayal was shameful for the police force.

Toronto Mall shooting has possible gang ties - Update

Police have released the identity of the target murdered in the Toronto Mall shooting to be Ahmed Hassan. He was known to the police and had possible gang ties. January 22 2010 someone named Ahmed Hassan was charged with cocaine trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Unlikely the one charged in Fort McMurray is the same one shot in Toronto but it will be interesting to hear what gang ties he had in this astonishingly reckless public murder.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Totonto police have announced over twitter that they have made an arrest in the shooting. Christopher Husbands turned himself in and appeared in court today to face one count of first-degree murder and six counts of attempted murder. "Our investigation continues to suggest that this is a targeted shooting and not a random act of violence against members of the general public," Borg told a press conference. "Even though there are several persons who have been identified in this case as being known gang members, or who have gang associations, I do not believe this to be a gang-motivated shooting. "Beyond saying that, I am not in a position to address aspects going to motive in this shooting."

Ahmed Hassan, 24, died of gunshot wounds and a 23-year-old male who police believe was with Hassan at the time of the attack remains in hospital in critical condition after being shot in the neck and chest. Borg said on Monday that the two victims and the suspected shooter had ties to the same street gang, but would not elaborate further. Well that's confusing. Just because they were members of the same gang doesn't mean it's not a gang related shooting. those guys betray each other on a daily basis. It's still related to the gang's drug trafficking.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CBC on the National has just reported that the shooter, Ahmed Hassan was under house arrest before the shooting and that one of his previous offenses included forcible confinement in Alberta which means it’s the same guy as the one in Fort McMurray. The National also went on to say that over 30 Somali youths tied to gangs and the drug trade have been murdered in Alberta. Gee I wonder who the prime suspects are in those murders?

Three cheers for simpatico news! Reporting on the Eaton Centre shooting in Toronto they pointed out the obvious. If the shooter and the target are both gang members then the shooting was gang related even if they were members of the same gang. Thanks you! Someone out there can finally do the math.

A Salute to the South Shore Freedom Riders

The South Shore Freedom Riders are a legitimate motorcycle club in Nova Scotia that doesn’t sell drugs. They are affiliated with real veterans not the fake drug dealing veteran on Vancouver Island who was kicked out. Nova Scotia has a proud history of military valor and service.

I’ve just received an anonymous tip that disturbs me greatly. Indeed I am greatly disturbed. Someone claims that the Darksiders have been threatening and bullying the Freedom Riders and as a result the Freedom Rriders have given up their club. That is unacceptable.

Their web site has been taken down. It appears they were also a Christain club. Christian bikers never hurt anyone. They are nonviolent, turn the other cheek types. That’s like beating up Gandhi or Mother Teresa. It is not cool. Darksiders suck. Literally. Just look at their logo. They suck the big boys and think that gives them the right to pick on a Christian club. It’s time for the Darsiders to be deemed a criminal organization and have their clubhouse seized. Pride cometh before the fall. Their clubhouse in Halifax is in the same building the Hells Angels had their clubhouse in before it was seized.

In New Brunswick a club called the Iron Order are getting the same BS from Bacchus over patches. The Iron order are very apposed to the 1% clubs and have strict rules of no criminals. Bacchus? They’re the patron saints of homosexuality. Just look what they did to Rusty and Ellen. That was an inside job. They were ripped off by their own people. They weren’t killed by a rival.

Reports are coming in about the Charlottetown Harley club also bullying other clubs around. Here we have three Hells Angel puppets bullying smaller clubs around because they are worthless. This is a picture I pulled off the cache from the Freedom Riders old web site:

They just want to ride and claim their right to religious freedom. Something we’ve fought wars for in the past. This is a song about Nova Scotia I noticed in their cache. It’s called Nova Scotia Nature's Music by Bob Quinn. Here are the lyrics. Nova Scotia is a lot like BC only more sincere. The salmon spawn in their rivers too and the eagles come to feed on the spawning salmon just like they do here. Upon eagles' wings. My mother was born in Amherst. I salute the South Shore Freedom Riders. To us from failing hands they throw the torch.

I’m not a very good Christian but I can see good and evil and I do believe in a higher power. Thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Like Martin Luther King of old, mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the lord. He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat. He is sifting out the hearts of men before his judgment seat. Oh be swift my soul to answer him be jubilant my feet. Our God in marching on. Word.

Three Canadians arrested in South Pacific cocaine seizure

Australian, New Caledonian and United States authorities have disrupted an international cocaine syndicate attempting to import an estimated 200 kilograms of cocaine into Australia from South America. New Caledonian authorities boarded the vessel on Saturday, 31 March 2012 and seized approximately 200kgs of cocaine and have charged three people with a range of offences.

The Vancouver Province is reporting the three arrested are Canadains from Keremeos - Gary Yuzik, Robert Stanley and his wife Cindy Stanley. This one breaks my heart. Gary Yuzik is the former owner of RE/MAX Keremeos Realty. A source told the Province Cindy Stanley was employed by Yuzik, and Yuzik "ran a profitable business into the ground" after buying RE/MAX Keremeos Realty from Penticton realtor Bill Barkhausen in 2007. Barkhausen said he has heard about the arrest of Yuzik and the Stanleys. "Gary did close the office and opened another real estate office in Okanagan Falls, which was also closed,"

Gary seems like a used car salesman. The part that breaks my heart is that Bob and Cindy seem like a really nice couple who have a really good relationship with their daughter. Money can't buy that. Now because they listened to a con mans scam they could be spending the rest of their life in prison. This is the reoccurring problem. All this hype about a huge drug bust and the real criminals just find another mule to take the fall while the real criminals remain untouched and unmoved.

Yet they are adults responsible for their own decisions. 200 kg is a lot of cocaine. That fills an awful lot of crack pipes and destroys an awful lot of lives. Why is it that BC is so involved in the Australian drug trade? We know the Hells Angels have set up shop and are taking over the drug trade there. Surely that has nothing to do with it.

Hope in Shadows

Two conflicting news reports about East Van in the news today. One was a step forward, the other was a step backward. Hope in Shadows represents a step forward. It’s a project where residents of the downtown east side participate in a competition to photograph glimpses of life in the community that are put on a calendar. Pivot legal is handing out free disposable cameras for local residents to participate.

It gives the residents something positive to do, it is a great fund raising tool and it helps raise awareness about the DTES. The other story was about yet another protest against a condo development in the DTES in a rat invested building which has been vacant for two decades.

I realize everyone wants more social housing. Maintaining the rat infested slum lord exploitation is not the answer. East Vancouver is a toilet that needs to change. It is what everyone knows to be the poorest neighborhood in the country. Along with that poverty is an outrageous amount of exploitation and abuse. Two things need to change.

People who are struggling to over come addictions need to get out of the East End. They need affordable housing somewhere else. If a building has been vacant for two decades and someone wants to develop it, feel free. The Woodwards building is a great example of a private and subsidized housing partnership.

Yes we need more social housing. We also need more development in the East End to help raise that community out of the gutter. Enabling that addiction and abuse for so long is wrong. People need Homes not Drugs.

4 million hits and still climbing

This blog, which has been up and running for three years, just broke 4 million hits. It took two years to break a million. Now it breaks a million hits in less than six months. I was surprised to hear at the Chris Mohan Memorial forum that Kim Bolan’s blog gets over 200,000 hits a month. My blog gets that. I thought Kim’s blog got way more traffic than mine did.

By far the majority of the traffic on this blog is from Canada. Over 13 to 1 which is unusual for the Internet since there is a larger number of people online in the States. Yet is understandable given the fact this blog covers Canadian gangs and crime.

Everyone talks about how we need a web site that identifies known gang members. Indeed we do. We do have to balance that with privacy rights and slander. A Kwantlin professor asked the panel at the Chris Mohan forum about ways to help discourage youth from glorifying gangs. She said she teaches a class on the subject and one of the books assigned had the opposite effect. It was written with the intent of discouraging gang involvement but in reality the youth started glorifying the gangs after reading it.

Kim Bolan shared some of her concerns and observations. Some people criticize her of glorifying the gangs yet she points out that she always reports on the dark side of the gangs. This person was shot. This person was betrayed. She shared a story about how she wrote about Bal Buttar after he was shot and became a paraplegic. She understandably thought that would discourage kids from getting involved. Then she found out how one kid posted the picture of Bal in his locker and said, he killed Bindy and lived, wow. That is about as absurd as you can get. Kids will be kids but clearly anyone with a brain can see through the gang violence and see a sad world of greed and betrayal.

That is my emphasis. The Hells Angels are the biggest players on our field right now. They are driven by greed and betrayal. People need to understand that so they don’t get involved unknowingly. There will always be aspiring traitors like Biff Hamel who will exploit every murder to climb the ladder and get their moment of fame. Yet the older ones can see through that insanity. The older ones are the ones that know what old school means. They are the ones that know what integrity means. You can't find that in a pill or buy it in a bottle. With proper education the older ones will step back and let the police deal with the younger ones to finally rid ourselves of this insane violence tied to the drug trade.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to this blog and web site by sending in tips and pictures. This blog is a group effort. It is a community response. It’s not a one man show. Freddy contributes by posting links and sharing insights. We live in the great Canadian mosaic. We all have different perspectives.

Many people contribute to the blog and ask to be anonymous for understandable reasons. We thank them and we applaud them. People ask me where I got that photo of the guys in prison at Stony Mountain and I can honestly say I don’t know. Someone sent it to me. That is how I protect my source.

We all have different opinions about different issues. No two people agree on every issue. Yet most us us agree the drug related violence that is plaguing our communities is getting out of hand and needs to be dealt with. This is our united stand against that violence.

Ottawa wins appeal to block RCMP union

I’m not a big fan of unions but I am a big fan of democracy. There are good and bad unions just like there are good and bad employers and politicians. Although a good politician is harder to find.

The RCMP is not unionized but most city police forces are. To me it’s not a big deal. If the employees want to form a union fine. If they don’t, so be it. Saying they are not allowed to form a union if they so choose is wrong. It is a violation of democracy and the freedom of association.

In the case of the RCMP a union might make it harder to fire bad cops. One could argue that point either way. However, one thing a union does do is help protect it’s members from sexual harassment in the workplace which is such a huge ongoing concern within RCMP management.

Carlo Verna and the Kelowna Hells Angels

Update: Two bodies found in Kelowna - one is of Marcello Verna.

Speaking of the Kelowna Summer Jam and how the Hells Angels like to betray their own for the almighty dollar, let’s take a look at Carlo Verna. Carlo is a member of the Kelowna Hells Angels. Or at least he was. People are starting to talk and since other Hells Angels are publically making fun of him and he seldom wears colours in public, people are starting to wonder if they’re going to pull a Mike Robatzek and kick him out now that they have sucked him dry.

Carlo became a full patch member of the East End Hells Angels along with Richard Goldammer, Hans Kurth, and Joseph Bruce Skreptak in 2005. Robert Thomas was at that time a prospect. This had police thinking they were planning on starting a Kelowna chapter. Carlo owned property in Kelowna along with various other East End members.

Carlo was also recorded on wire tap in David Giles’ trial with Revell and Remple who were convicted of cocaine trafficking. In the decision it states Carlo came by Giles' house and advised Giles that Revell’s car lot and gym had been searched by the police.

Carlo used to own Pier Marine pub and Splashes Night club in Kelowna. Now that things aren’t going too well for him financially it looks like the club is ready to cast him aside like an old shoe. The Kelowna Marine Pub burned down October 2007. Arson is suspected.

We’ve heard a lot of stories about people with money getting fast tracked into the Hells Angels. Now we are starting to hear a lot of stories of people with money who were fast tracked into the club getting tossed aside when their money runs out. Buyer Beware.

The Filthy Few Fellowship

We've talked about the Hells Angels Filthy Few patch before but I think it's time to revisit the issue. Originally the patch had the Nazi lightning bolts on it from their Nazi associations. Mom Boucher and Salvatore Cazzetta had a Nazi club before joining the Hells Angels called the SS. Later the Nazi lightning bolts were taken off and replaced with the number 666. We all know 81 means Hells Angels. H is the 8th letter in the alphabet and A is the fist. 81 then means HA which stands for Hells Angels.

Likewise, F is the 6th letter in the alphabet. 666 would represent FFF for Filthy Few Fellowship or Filthy Few Forever. Of course 666 isn't just a number, it has other meanings too. Just ask Vincent Price and Iron Maiden. When the London Hells Angels say support your local 666 they are referring to the Hells Angels not just members of the Filthy Few Fellowship.

They took the Filthy Few reference off Sony Barger's low budget West Vegas web site but they still have Otis the Missing Link Garret honoured in their Big House Crew list. Otis Garret was convicted of running a prostitution ring in San Francisco called the Love Nest for the Hells Angels. After he was convicted the woman who testified against him as well as her twin seven year old daughters were murdered. Years later Otis was convicted of hiring the hit. I'm not going to pretend to know what someone has to do to qualify for the Filthy Few Fellowship but killing babies is nothing to brag about.

The Wind Demonz MC

Looks like the Darksiders have a new finger puppet club in Bridgewater called the Wind Demonz. All these puppet clubs of puppet clubs. It's one big Ponzim scheme. You kiss our ass and they'll kiss your ass and someone else will kiss their ass. That way everybody gets their ass kissed. It's all a bunch of ass kissers. Don't any of these clowns have any self respect? I mean look at the Darksiders logo. That is ridiculous. Bacchus may well be the patron saints of homosexuality but those clowns are clearly the head puppet club. They're the ones with the dirty knees. Their logo has permanently assumed the position of the head puppet. It sucks to be you.

It's like their obsession with support shirts. It reminds me of a little kids saying worship me. Kinda like Loki in the Avengers. Stop. I am a god. Then Hulk throws him around like a rag doll kicking the crap out of him, tosses him aside and mockingly states, puny god. These guys have real self image issues when they need finger puppets and supporters to worship them.

So Kevin Nodding from Nodding Marine Bridgewater is the president of the Wind Demonz finger puppets in Bridgewater. Mark Smith, Bens Bakery, Ron Richards and Byron Conrad are members of the darksider's puppet club in Bridgewater. Clowns who want to live off the avails. Idiots. I don't know what the circle is supposed to be highlighting on the Wind Demonz logo. It sure looks like they're doing the Pee Wee Herman.

Gang shooting in Port Moody

Meanwhile back at the gang war, Hells Angels rivals in Vancouver are still getting executed left, right and centre. Gurbinder Singh Toor, a 35-year-old gangster connected to the embattled Duhre/Dhak crime group was fatally shot outside a busy Port Moody recreation centre 9:30 Wednesday night.

The Duhre/Dhak Pack are connected to the UN. They buy their drugs from the UN not the Hells Angels. That is why they are getting wiped off the face of the earth. Even Kim Bolan agrees that in this recent “gang war” the Dhak-Duhre gang has suffered the most violence. Now she's even composed a list of nine members of the Dhure / Dhak Pak that have been shot in less than a year with zero casulties on the "other" side. The violence is very one sided. I had eight in my list May 5th but that was before Wednesdays shooting.

The Duhre/Dhak Pack was not responsible for the Kelowna shooting that killed Jonathon Bacon and wounded Larry Amero. They might have been in Kelowna and told someone what they saw. They might have told someone that Larry Amero and Jonathon Bacon finally came out of the closet and were publically bragging about their association but they didn’t do the hit.

No this new gang war is simply Eric Sandberg’s prediction coming true. He told agent 22 that “they” were ready to wipe out all the competition in Surrey. That is what this recent violence is all about. The Hells Angels violent control of the local drug trade.

Paul Boyd’s tragic death

This is another sad story. In more ways than one. Everyone is talking about this new video released a tourist took of the VPD shooting a suspect named Paul Boyd. I watched the raw footage a few times and just couldn't see anything. The enhanced footage is clear. The suspect was on his hands a knees crawling towards the police as they shot him several times, once fatally in the head.

Tragedy doesn’t begin to describe the heart wrenching sorrow this video has uncovered. Paul's sister was quoted in the Vancouver Sun as saying: “All everyone has heard is that the police responded to a call of a man swinging a bike chain, this is TOTALLY untrue. That is not what they were initially responding to.”

Then it finally dawned on me. This is the case everyone is talking about? This is the bike chain shooting? Even if that story was true I personally found it bizarre. A guy went into the street swinging a bike chain and the police shot him dead. That was not the use of reasonable force. What’s worse is that story is not true. He was on his hands a knees crawling towards the police.

Two inherit tragedies surface. First, he should not have been killed. Second. The police lied. We’ve talked about in the initial scenario why can’t the police shoot a suspect in the leg? Why do they always have to put one in their chest? That’s the way they are trained. Well maybe it’s time to change the training. Shooting an unarmed suspect in the head or chest is not acceptable. As many have suggested it is murder.

The lying to cover it up is also a huge concern. It’s happened before. The Vancouver Province ran an editorial about the problematic nature of police lying. It is reminiscent of the lie that the British police told when they shot a suspect dead in London which triggered riots. The police claimed the suspect was armed and fired at the police. They even went so far as to claim the suspect hit one of the officers in the chest. They claimed the bullet hit the officer’s police radio which saved his life. That’s when they shot the suspect dead.

Only after the ballistics report came in that was simply untrue. The suspects gun, if it really was his, hadn’t been fired and the police radio was hit by a police issued firearm. They lied. The suspect hadn’t fired upon them. They lied and manufactured a bizarre story which was proven to be untrue. None of those officers were ever charged with murder or for perjury and being an accessory to murder.

Here we have a similar situation where the police are caught lying. As the editorial points out, it’s not the first time. So yes, lying to cover up the use of deadly force is a serious issue. Yet the use of deadly force in the wrong instances is the primary concern. If they didn’t make that error in the first place, they wouldn’t have to lie to cover it up. Jim Chu has promised a swift response. Let’s hope. Let's also hope that the police training retrains the police to get over this bizarre ego of over reacting when a suspect doesn’t obey their command at the snap of their finger. This isn’t the army. Civilians are civilians. Police are paid by tax dollars to serve and protect them.

Two nutbars, both suspected murderers

These two cases have nothing to do with gangs but they do involve murder. Since everyone is talking about these two bizarre cases, I'll cite them both at once. On the east coast we have Luka Rocco Magnotta a wing nut from Montreal. This is the person accused of sending human body parts to the Tory Headquarters in Ottawa. At first I thought it was just a bizarre false flag stunt to help distract the public from the robocalls and all the other many scandals the Tories are currently entrenched in.

Seemingly there was a disturbing video of a guy murdering someone on the Internet. I haven't seen it and I'm not going to link to it. The point is, this whack job was identified from the video. He hasn't been arrested or charged he's just a suspect that the police are asking for the public's help in finding. If you know who this guy is, it might be worth while telling the police before anyone else ends up dead. Police have back tracked on Luc Wingnut’s possible connection to Karla Homolka.

The other case is the recent police shootout in Maple ridge where a murder suspect named Angus David Mitchell was shot dead. He has ties to a security firm in Victoria and was suspected of killing his landlord in Burnaby as well as a suspect in the recent Sushi restaurant double murder.

The guy was 5 foot 4 and 121 punds. He wasn't even big enough to be a jocky. Just goes to show you that any kid or nutbar can pull a trigger and commit murder. Committing murder doesn't make someone hard care. It makes them deranged.

Speaking of nutbars in Maple ridge, some whack job is on a cat killing spree there. 24 cats have been killed in the past year in one small area of Maple ridge. Dismembered cat parts are being displayed all over town. Most recently someone dropped off a cats severed head at an elementary school between recess and lunch. This is yet another example of what it means to be deranged.

Luka Rocco Magnotta was arrested at an Internet cafe in Berlin Monday June 4th.

Joey Verma’s trial date finally set for June 25th

Joey Verma’s trial for the murder of Britney Irving is finally on the map. Britney’s mother is understandably upset there has been another delay but at least it’s finally on the map. Having nothing scheduled at all for so long was absurd.

The arrest was made on June 25 two years ago in Rutland. So his trial date is set for two years after his arrest. That is bizarre. I’m told that Joey was in court last week and ordered to get a lawyer for his Monday appearance. On Monday his lawyer said he needed time to prepare. Three weeks to do so is not unrealistic. It’s just astounding it’s taken this long to get to this point.

As soon as he was arrested he was in court for several months. Those proceedings continued until December 30 2011. The end result of that pre trial was to proceed on filed incitement. It’s hard to think he didn’t have a lawyer for all those appearances. The big delay was between December 30 2011 and May 28 2012. Regardless, it’s finally on the map and set for June 25th 2012.

My heart goes out to Britney’s mother. This is a horrible thing to experience. The loss of a child is unthinkable and the ongoing murder trial is cruel and grueling. There is no justice. Nothing will bring Britney back. Sentencing her murderer will only help the open wound close. Yet we have this consolation with us: life does not end at death and no lie can live forever. Britney is a wonderful person. No theif can rob that from her. Peace.

Bob Paulson’s Dilemana

The Vancouver Province is reporting that B.C.’s top Mountie could have blocked the controversial transfer to B.C. of a disgraced Alberta Mountie, but decided not to. Here we have an idiot using the same old infamous command culture on civilians. I could have blocked his transfer but I decided not to and that decisions stands. Basically he is telling the public to f off. He will do what he wants when he wants and we have no say in the matter. That is not the way to restore trust that has been lost.

Now we need two people to leave: Don Ray and Craig Callens. Bob Paulson took the top dog position governing the RCMP in Ottawa. He did so amidst a flurry of bad press about sexual misconduct within the RCMP. He vowed swift justice for misbehaving mounties. Sadly, he has dropped the ball on this case and that diminishes all of us.

Not only is it wrong to transfer Don Ray to BC, it is ilegal. Bob Paulson appears to be genuinely frustrated with the case admitting that the actions of a senior Alberta Mountie who engaged in a pattern of inappropriate behaviour and sexual misconduct, as well as the punishment he received, represent a "sorry, sad and shameful set of facts,"

Bob Paulson said the case of Donald Ray underscores a need to revamp the force's disciplinary system, and that the force is pursuing legislative changes to make that happen. "If I could change this case I would, I cannot," he said. "What I can do is make sure that we get a system where this sort of frustration is eliminated."

The problem culminates in a three-member adjudication-board that decided not to terminate Don Ray. That is the prime absurdity. Surely that decision can be appealed because it is clearly illegal. This is why there is a class action law suit against the RCMP as we speak. That employer has failed to enforce the laws protecting employees from sexual harassment and are now legally liable for damages.

They were sure quick to fire Al Dalstrom for doing his job and telling the truth. That wrongful dismissal resulted in a multi million dollar out of court settlement just to get a gag order on the reasons he was wrongfully fired. Under normal circumstance, labour law does protect employees from wrongful dismissal. Sexual harassment is not one of those allowable provisions. It’s the opposite. The employer can be held legally liable for not firing a person who has committed sexual harassment.

Take innocent absenteeism for example. The employer has a right to expect the employee will come to work. Yet people are allowed to get sick. If someone calls in sick a lot, we're not talking about a single long term illness for something like cancer, were talking about erratic ongoing illnesses which prevent an employee from attending work on a consistent basis. People can get fired for that. Yet there is a legal process involved.

First, the employer has to establish that the absences are excessive. They are more than twice the average absenteeism. Second, they have to establish that it is chronic, it has happened over a long period of time despite being warned by the employer in writing that these absences will affect their job. Finally, they have to establish that there is no likelihood of the absenteeism ever improving. That’s the hard part.

My point is, people can get fired for innocent absenteeism. It’s hard and frustrating for an employer but it is possible. Yet sexual harassment is very different. Since the employer is under legal obligation to protect it’s employees from sexual harassment, termination for sexual harassment is pretty much automatic. In ANY other industry, Don Ray would be fired. Surely one would expect the RCMP would have a higher standard than the private industry on this matter not a lower standard.

This three member adjudication board has made an illegal decision. That needs to be addressed. Telling the public to suck it up is wrong. This has destroyed what little faith there was in the RCMP. For those who hated cops, it fuels their fire. For everyone else who supports law and order it is a slap in the face. Take a look at the comments in the Vancouver Province’s Back Chat on the issue.

DUMP HIM

The RCMP has made a grave mistake in not dumping this guy. They promised that was what they would do to restore confidence in the force. And yet here they are.

CLEAN YOUR HOUSE

We keep hearing the bad cops are few. If this is true then why aren't the good cops getting rid of them. You want to walk with pride? Clean your own house.

PASSING THE TRASH

Transfers like this are a time-honoured tradition. It's called passing the trash.

BAG OF WIND

The new boss in Ottawa said he would clean up the force.

This proves that he is nothing more than a bag of wind.

There are even jokes about having to change the name of the RCMP because of the new term mounted police has a negative conotation. It's tragic and undemocratic. The RCMP are Public Servants. Tax Payers pay their salary. To boldly declare their opinion doesn't matter is a very alienating slap in the face. One could respond with OK let's just sue their ass. But who would pay the settlement? Taxpayers. That is why the RCMP need to be publically accountable. Right now they are not and that needs to change.

Other important questions we’re going to have to ask is how on earth did Barbara George get her job back? Why on earth was she so confident that she was going to get it back? Who else was involved and ultimately responsible for the RCMP Pension fraud?

The Chris Mohan Memorial Forum

Today, Eileen Mohan in conjunction with Acting Together’s CURA Project put on a gang awareness forum at Queen Elizabeth Secondary in Surrey. Eileen was at the rally in Bear Creek Park where they released doves in memory of lost loved ones after her son was murdered. About six months ago I saw a dove outside my home and did a double take. What on earth is a dove doing in Surrey I thought. Then I wondered if it was one of the doves they set free a few years ago.

Eileen also put on a memorial mass for her son on his first birthday after the shooting. After that she helped out with a memorial golf tournament in conjunction with the Schellenberg famliy. Now she’s turning her focus directly on gang awareness forums which are desperately need in our communities for both parents and youth. With support from the City and corporate sponsors like CIBC and TD, this looks like a wonderful annual tradition. Dianne Watts was present at the beginning of the forum and helped kick it off showing the city’s endorsement and support of the event. Bruce Ralston was present as always.

Today’s panel consisted of Tom McCluskie from the Integrated Gang Task, Kim Bolan from the Vancouver Sun and Eileen Mohan herself, Surrey’s very own Mother Teresa. In fact some of Eileen’s comments about cherishing our children and finding time to love them reminded me of something Mother Teresa would say. As we know, Mother Teresa was an advocate for the poor. Yet when speaking to the wealthy West she talked about a different kind of poverty in North America. Not the want of bread but the want of validation, encouragement, of love.

Eileen said she hears parents complain about their children and have a whole list of criticisms about them. It makes her sad. She then asks the parent what does your child do that’s good? Surely there must be something. We need to focus on our children’s strengths.

This thought was reinforced in psychologist Roger Tweed’s object lesson with a stethoscope and an exercise stretcher. The stethoscope was symbolic of the fact that we need to find out the problem before we can fix it. The exercise machine was symbolic of how we need to focus on our strengths.

Dr Farhad Dastur, the Dean of Arts at Kwantlen did a wonderful job as the forum’s moderator.

Kim Bolan gave a stirring power point about how gang life really isn’t that glamorous and illustrated how much betrayal there is in that game. Bal Buttar once worker for Bindy Johal and had him killed. In turn Bal Buttar was killed by people who at one time worked for him. It’s a dog eat dog world fueled by greed.

Tom McCluskie spoke about some of the work and some of the challenges the Gang Task force does and faces in the Province. Here's his talk on Youtube. One parent asked an important question. If we suspect a kid is involved with gangs, where do we call? Who do we report that to?

Tom explained that the task forced used to use CrimeStoppers but now has it’s own numbers people can call that are posted on their web site. That is important information. The parent then asked if those new numbers and web sites are advertized in posters for parents and youth to see. Not yet was the response. Another good idea. I'm having a hard time finding the contact number on the web site but when I do, I will post it accordingly. They do have a contact form on the site.

A sincere youth from Mexico and living in Surrey for the past two years shared an experience he had with one of his friends who got involved with the gangs and was seriously beaten by them. He talked about his concern and fear for his friend and asked what educational support there is out there to help youth understand that gangs aren’t very glamorous. The response was, not much but they are working on it. Abbotsford has started doing some as has Prince George. This Memorial forum is exactly that.

Spotlight on the Pickton Inquiry

As the missing women inquiry draws to a fiery conclusion, every day we read new testimony about how the Hells Angels were tied to the Pickton farm. In fact that is the reason the public inquiry was shut down and transformed into a panel discussion instead of an inquiry.

David Cameron was the champion of justice and Wally Oppal was the snake in the grass scoundrel that censored the inquiry. We had expected that from him. He was likely the worst possible choice to head the inquiry. He fell before Gordon Campbell did because people were upset with what a lousy job he did as AG. Now he’s a giggling Austin Powers as he promotes his new acting career whilst committing welfare fraud at the missing women’s expense.

Most recently we read of three developments. A former sex trade worker recently testified at the inquiry that Pickton had invited her to a biker party on the farm. She said he referred to it as a biker party. We knew Hells Angels attended parties at Piggy’s palace. Pickton referring to it as a biker party would imply they were in charge. We found out that the Hells Angels had a grow op and ran an illegal booze can on site.

Last month the Vancouver Observer reported on a retired nurse named Bonnie Fournier who worked in the Downtown Eastside since 1968 but hasn't been allowed to testify at the Missing Women Inquiry. She had workered with numerous sex trade workers in the DTES for years. Late one night in 2000 she said she saw a black shape being dragged out the passenger side of a large vehicle on Cordova Street which turned out to be a person. If the truck Fournier saw was his, it meant Pickton had an accomplice. She asked the woman if it was him. “I can't say, because I'd be dead,” she told Fournier. “They'll kill me.” They implies more than one person. Wally opal has not allowed her to testify at the inquiry. He should be charged with obstruction of justice.

What’s even more disturbing is the testimony of another witness Bonnie Fournier was working with. “Sharon” said she was in Surrey, shoplifting at a mall -- she supported her drug addiction by stealing, not prostitution, Fournier said -- when two women who knew her from the Downtown Eastside approached and invited her to a party, “with free booze and drugs.” The women went to a “well-known Hells Angels spot” located on the King George Highway, just before it enters Surrey: a rental house they called the “House of Pain.” (We know it as the Surrey House of Horrors. that would have been on 108 Ave just off king George around the corner from Gus' shop)

“They went there, and then were moved by station wagon or van – 'We're going to a party with good music,'” Fournier was told. “They were taken to the (Pickton) farm from this house in Surrey. “After they got to the farm, Sharon said everyone was into the drugs – lots of drugs. When they pulled in there, she got a gut feeling that this was scary. . . she got a gut feeling and bolted from the car and ran to Lougheed Highway. She was picked up by a bus on Lougheed and given a ride in to Vancouver by a sympathetic driver.”

We know Yvonne Marie Boen's DNA was found at the Surrey house of horrors as well as on Pickton's Pig Farm. To hear new testimony of a van taking people from the House of Horrors in Surrey to a Hells Angels party at the Pickton farm is disturbing indeed.

The third new piece of information recently reported in the media is the fact that the police had the Hells angels on the Pickton farm under surveillance and they didn’t want to mention that over optics. They didn't want to be accused of bungling their job.

Bungling their job? That’s an interesting choice of words. Aside from meaning legal liability, it also implies leaking out information about a police operation that went bad. It sure sounds a lot like Operation Phoenix to me. I wonder if that is the operation they are talking about. Gary Bass, the former RCMP deputy commissioner in B.C., agreed during testimony Wednesday that several police operations were targeting the motorcycle gang in the Lower Mainland during that time.

Cameron Ward, the lawyer for two dozen family members of the murdered and missing women, suggested the women were taken to parties at Piggy’s Palace, given drugs and later killed on the Pickton farm. “The RCMP’s organized crime agency was simultaneously conducting intelligence operations on the Hells Angels members and the associates who were frequenting the area. Does that sound accurate?” Ward asked.

“I’ve never seen any reports or had any briefings that indicated something like that was happening,” Bass replied. But the records created by the many RCMP agencies investigating the gang haven’t been made available, Ward said. In fact, not only has important evidence been deemed inadmissible, numerous exhibits on the Inquiry’s web site are censored and deemed restricted. That is not a public inquiry.

This is where Wally Oppal committed treason and became an accomplice to murder. He stopped Cameron Ward from asking questions about the Hells Angels presence at the Pickton farm. He denied disclosure of police documents concerning their surveillance of the Hells Angels on the Pickton farm. Oppal said there was no connection between David Pickton, the Hells Angels and Piggy’s Palace and the mandate of the inquiry. That is absurd.

There is no connection between Dave Pickton, the Hells Angels and Piggy Palace with his red hearing mandate but there most certainly is within the real mandate of the inquiry. May I remind the court that the real name of this public inquiry is the Missing Women Inquiry. It is an inquiry about why so many women went missing and how we can prevent that from happening again.

Robert Pickton was convicted of murder on the premise that he may not have been the only person involved in the murders. In fact the judge’s instructions to the jury went so far as to say they could convict Robert Pickton even if he wasn’t the prime suspect, as long as he was an active participant. When new evidence comes forward about possible accessories in the murders and Wally Oppal buries that evidence then he becomes an accessory to murder.
