Stop the violence in Gaza

The escalation of violence in Gaza is a colossal concern for anyone with a conscience. Israel has every right to defend itself. That does not include the right to brutalize civilians. In 2009 the extreme violence was equally absurd. Israel pulled out of Gaza to let them have autonomy and then Gaza starts firing rockets indiscriminately into Israel. Equally bizarre was Israel's over reacting by using American shells of white phosphorous on Gaza.

This time, someone kidnapped and murdered 3 Jewish teenagers from the West Bank. That was a horrific act. Yet West Bank is a Palestinian area. Zionism does not mean evicting Palestinians from their homes and moving in on their rubble. Zionism means living in peace with Palestinians like in the Oasis of Peace. Israel's Iron Dome defense system against rocket attacks is totally appropriate. Canada should invest in similar technology.

Back in the day, when Syria kept firing rockets into Israel from the Golan Heights, Israel simply took the Golan heights. Problem solved. That was a natural consequence to unacceptable behavior. The problem is that the Palestinians from Gaza aren't from Syria, Lebanon, Jordon or Egypt. However, they aren't from Gaza either. The original inhabitants of Gaza weren't Palestinians or Jews it was the Philistines. They were conquered and carried away by Egypt. So this whole erroneous claim to original land title is a farce.

Gaza has a history of not only disrespecting all human life from all religious backgrounds but of being absolutely insane. In the last conflict, Israel would give a warning before they hit a Hamas target where they were firing rockets into Israel from. As soon as they did that, crazed women would scream like lunatics and run to the place to die as martyrs to increase civilian casualties. What kind of people would use civilians as human shields to gain public support for their cause?

Years ago I loved visiting Egypt. All the ancient archeological sites to me seemed holy. Personally I'd love to visit Jordon or Saudi Arabia. Not Gaza. I don't like to visit people who don't have respect of human life or for archeological holy sites. The old city of Jerusalem is divided into four quarters and is shared by the Muslims, the Jews, the Christians and the Armenians. Jerusalem is filled with holy sites sacred to each religion. When Gaza fires rockets indiscriminately at Jerusalem, they are disrespecting the human life from each religion as well as all their respective holy sites.

Update: Israeli airstrikes hit Gaza mosque as UN urges ceasefire.

Hitting a Mosque is not good. Ground troops move in.

Calgary Pimp beats prostitute

The Calgary Sun is reporting that Jeremy Wayne Broecker, also known as Dominic, faces nine charges, including living off the avails of prostitution. The witness claims Broecker slapped her and then tossed her into the hallway of his apartment complex, naked for having consensual sex without getting paid. The woman told the court she was drawn into the escort business by Broecker in 2009, after moving to Calgary from Halifax. She said much of the money she was paid by clients went straight to Broecker.

Broecker was also charged with forcing two women into prostitution in 2012. Victims identified in that case indicated they were “coerced with financial constraints” and in one case threats were intimated towards a woman’s family. The Calgary Sun is reporting that Broecker is an American wanted on warrants in Michigan related to violence and fraud.

Doug McCallum enters race to save us from Surrey's Worst

Well it's official. Kevin Diakiw from the Surrey Leader already announced it but the Vancouver Province and CBC are confirming that Doug McCallum is officially running for the Mayor of Surrey. This is good news. Someone has to save us from Surrey's Worst. Linda Hepner is the last rat left in the Surrey First sinking ship. She has never been mayor before. She has been a counselor in the worst political party in Surrey's history. Worst for Crime reduction, worst for fiscal responsibility, worst for reduction of taxes and worst for listening to the people who live in the city.

Doug McCallum served three successful terms as Mayor of Surrey. He was defeated by Dianne Watts' Neo Con promising the world and delivering nothing. She promised a coalition on crime reduction. Yet last year was the most number of murders in the city's history. Ever. One of those murders was at an illegal booze can the neighbors had been complaining about but the city refused to do anything.

The murder of the Newton hockey mom was the result of endless complaints from the residents and business owners of Newton that complained about drug dealing in Newton. The city did nothing and crime in that area has escalated off the chart. The drug related violence outside the Front Room in Surrey is unprecedented. One of the Surrey fist counselors came clean and said you're right. We haven't been doing enough to confront crime in Newton. That's when Dianne Watts and the rest of the party bullied her and kicked her out.

Surrey First has been the worst in the city's history for physical responsibility. That outrageous Ivory Tower of self indulgence was a colossal waste of tax dollars that has created the biggest debt in the city's history. The Surrey Leader is reporting that the cost to run Surrey soars in 2013. Doug McCallum wants to end all these lavish trips for counselors and Judy Villeneuve objects.

Back in the day, Judy Villeneuve was a member of Bob Bose's SCE. He was considered left wing. Doug McCallum was part of SET and was considered right wing. These two political parties would fight back and forth like kids. However, left and right politics don't really apply to civic governments. There was a lot of good things that Doug McCallum did when he was in charge. Primarily his crime reduction and his confronting crack houses in Surrey. He cleaned it up completely. Now we have to follow through with that campaign and confront the crack dealers on the street. Doug McCallum is the man for that job.

Thor was cocky in his youth and received a lesson in humility. He became a better person and a more powerful super hero as a result. Let's put the mayor's gavel back in Doug McCallum's hand so he can turn the tide on Surrey Worst's fiscal irresponsibility and criminal apathy.

CBC highlighted Doug McCallum's new web site. Let's pin him down on how he intends on fixing Surrey's fiscal irresponsibility. He already said he thought the new ivory tower was a waste of tax dollars. Let's get him to commit to sell it so he can afford to hire the police he has pledged to hire. Once he commits we need to put together a card of counselors that will support him.

Chilliwack Street under siege

On the front page of yesterday's Vancouver Province was the headline that read Chilliwack Street under siege. Inside the paper the article read Petty crimes plaguing neighborhood. The article talked about all the spin off crime that was terrorizing one neighborhood all related to the public sale of drugs.

The root of the problem is that the Chilliwack neighbourhood is plagued by drug deals, prostitution, thefts. So once again we see a huge spike in property theft in an area where drugs are sold in public. This is the exact same problem the Aldergrove judicial review board had with prolific offenders like Jamie Pool committing an absurd amount of property theft and not being faced with any consequences whatsoever.

Their conclusions was that judges are the problem. The more crimes these prolific offenders commit, the less time they serve in jail. The Chilliwack article spoke with residents who said the couple lives close to a public swimming pool with a big parking lot that attracts drug dealers and prostitutes during the night.

Both the Iezzis and Walker said they feel frustrated with the RCMP response, though they don't blame individual officers. Instead, they point to a system that's overburdened with complaints about petty crime and a court system that makes it almost impossible to prosecute the perpetrators. "As perpetual victims of petty crime, we're left feeling abandoned," said Nicole Iezzi.

The problem is drug dealers which attracts drug addicted prostitution and a whole range of property theft. Chasing the prolific offenders around is like putting a finger in the dyke. The real problem is the crack dealers. They are the pimps that brutalize and exploit the sex trade workers for drug debts. We've got to stop kicking the cat and addressing the real problem by arresting the crack dealers. That is the New York Model.

So there we have it. The problem has been revealed and the pattern is repeating itself like a broken record. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. When we look at what's happening the the DTES as well as in Whalley, Newton and now Chilliwack not arresting the crack dealers clearly is the epitome of insanity.

The article talks about how the neighbors have started to take matters into their own hands and how the police are waring about vigilantism. One resident has started posting surveillance videos of the prolific offenders that are stealing their stuff but remain on the street. Quite similar to the crookstube a Surrey resident started during their spike in property theft.

One resident talked about how they shot one intruder with a paintball gun. That's a Surrey trick. In Surrey they'd freeze the paintballs before shooting the crackheads. Although people have a right to defend their persons and property, this is confronting the symptom not the solution. The solution is arresting the crack dealers selling the drugs. When the police don't do that it makes their claim that public safety is their number one concern a bold faced lie.

Again it's not individual officers that is the problem here it is the departments mandate or should I say lack thereof. This reoccurring problem is the root of the conflict. Nevertheless, ya gotta love the video of the guys in a pick up truck giving one prolific offender a beat down. I guess in Chilliwack it's alright to be a redneck still.

Gino and the Associate

A blog reader had mentioned how they noticed a video of Gino Odjick with a Hells Angels associate on Global but I couldn't find the video at the time. Another blog reader sent it in along with some screen clips and I can see what they are talking about. I was hesitant saying anything about it because Gino is so well liked and the Hells Angels aren't. Especially a two bit associate.

This is the guy that was at the Hells Angels anniversary party in Whiterock. It's Rob Yews who was on Season 3 episode 11 of the The liquidator. Somewhat ironic how the guy on the liquidator kept asking him if the stuff he was selling was stolen. Very perceptive indeed. Rob Yews ran a "clothing" store in Yellowknife the same time another Hells Angels drug ring was busted there.

It's sad because the Hells Angels are so hated now that people understand what they're really about. We all know about Odis Garrett, Greg Domey and Kerry Ryan Renaud. Not to mention the Haney sleaze and the association with the Pickton Farm. No one likes a liar, drug dealer or anyone who runs a stolen car ring. Exploiting the homeless is nothing to smile about.

Outlaws in Saskatoon, Hells Angels visit Fort McMurray

Metro News is reporting that the police claim the Outlaws have set up shop in Saskatoon. Which is interesting since I received a report that a few Hells Angels prospects got their patch in Regina not long ago. Apparently this weekend an Edmonton Hells Angel named Scuba is visiting Fort McMurray with a couple tribal Edmonton, syndicate Edmonton and silent few. Lots of puppets selling drugs who desperately want to be a real boy one day. Get a life Pinocchio.

Irish Pride? Real Irish don't sell crack. The RA will put a cap in your ass for doing that.

Denis Chamberlain claims to be in Edmonton now. Isn't he from Quebec? Sherbrooke sure didn't have much respect for their brothers they were convicted of murdering in Lennoxville. They all contributed a portion of their drug profits into a fund to murder rival drug dealers. Get off the crack and sing a new tune like Boom Shakalaka Boom. That's Irish Pride so it is.

I guess that gas mask is to cover the stench from all that bullsh*t.

Evidently the Pride Parade was for the Syndicate's new clubhouse house warming party this week-end. Their new clubhouse is at 101 Beattie Road in Fort Mcmurray. The Syndicate must be opening a chapter in Red Deer also. There were a couple riding around with Red Deer bottoms in Syndicate colours. George Sutherland and Kristian MacEachern face drug trafficking charges.

A Cocaine dealer has been charged in a June 25 shooting near Grand Prairie.

Surrey Six Trial Closing Arguments

Kim Bolan has been extensively covering the Surrey Six trial. Today the Vancouver Province as well as the Surrey Leader both reported on the crown's closing arguments. I thought it would be helpful to go over who's left I.E. who's charged, who flipped and what the convincing evidence is. Right now Cody Haevischer and Matthew Johnston are each charged with conspiracy and six counts of first-degree murder. Originally Michael Le was also charged but entered a surprise guilty plea last year and according to today's article ended up testifying as a crown witness.

Corey Lal was apparently the intended target after Jamie Bacon tried to extort him for selling drugs "on their turf." Which of course is a fallacy since the Bacon brothers are from Abbotsford not Surrey and the Hells Angels are the ones that claim to control the drug trade. Since Jamie Bacon made confidentiality objections he is being tried separately.

Sophon Sek has been charged with manslaughter and is being tried separately as well. Kim Bolan reported that Sophon Sek was the one that had a FOB and helped the accused enter the suite without having to kick the door in.

Another suspect was also charged and plead guilty. There is a publication ban on his name and is now referred to as Person X. Not to be confused with the original Person X who became Person Y just to confuse things a bit. All the locals know who person x and y are but there is a publication ban on their names so we can't discuss it publicly. The reason being is because there are so many freaking trials this all connects with that have yet to be heard.

As far as the evidence goes, Levitz, the lawyer for the Crown stated surveillance evidence proved that Johnston and Haevischer, along with Person X, had driven to the Balmoral Towers, the scene of the murders and that the accused were in the murder suite during the unlawful confinement and murders of the victims, he said. Levitz noted evidence that Haevischer had confessed to fatally shooting three of the victims, while Person X killed the other three victims.

That's a pretty solid case. Let's not forget honourable mention to Person Y who was originally Person X and was referred to as the crown's star witness. Hat's off to the soldier who did the right thing. The Surrey Six murder crossed the line when they killed two innocent witnesses. That is not acceptable. However, the bottom line is that the Surrey Six murder took place because Jamie Bacon was trying to extort Corey Lal for selling drugs on their turf despite the fact that the Bacon Brothers were from Abbotsford not Surrey. The Hells Angels are the ones that use violence to obtain and maintain a monopoly on the drug trade and Jamie's brother Jonathon was a longtime friend of Whiterock Hells Angels Larry Amero. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out who Jamie Bacon was collecting the tax for.

The Hells Angels have been involved in the Surrey drug trade since the Surrey House of Horrors. One source claims Hal Porteous used to run a booze can for the Hells Angels near 88th Ave and 132nd Street from 1997 before he got his patch until 2000. Just like the one at 91 and 147A street Bill Fordy and Dianne Watts refused to do anything about where someone was shot.

I've heard it said that the Hells Angels are no longer involved in the Surrey drug trade. They only have one or two guys there that's all. That's all they need. In the Nanaimo cocaine bust they had one member and one associate from Nanaimo as well as one member and one associate from Ontario. The same with the cocaine bust in Spain. They had one member and one associate from Haney as well as one member and one associate from Mission. This is how they do business. One member and one associate is authorized to represent the club then they get a bunch of fringe associates like Larry Mizen to do the brutal collection work in the club's name.

Kerry Ryan Renaud was a long time Hells Angels crystal meth cook in Surrey. He worked for John Punko. You think Jamie Bacon would have tried to tax Ryan for selling drugs on "their" turf? Not a chance. Aside from the fact that Ryan would have kicked his ass, Jamie didn't have the authority to tax Ryan. Ryan was already working for the boys in Surrey.

Surrey Bomb Fraud goes to Trial

This is a picture of John Nuttall and his mother Maureen Smith. The Vancouver Province is reporting that "Nearly a year after two Surrey residents were arrested and accused of plotting to bomb the Victoria legislature on Canada Day, a pre-trial hearing for the pair opened in Vancouver."

"B.C. Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce, who is hearing the submissions, imposed an interim publication ban on reporting details of the arguments by defence and Crown." That is yet another criminal act. The purpose of a court publication ban is to prevent the jury from hearing evidence that was submitted to the court when they were not present. Not to censor the freedom of the press.

The Province reported that in the public gallery behind Nuttall was the accused’s mother, who traveled from Victoria to attend the hearing. “I love my son and I know that he’s innocent,” said the accused’s mother.

We all know that sometimes a mothers love can be blind. Sometimes the mother of a serial killer will say oh my son would never do that. However, in this case the evidence against her son is not only not believable but is actually fraudulent. The Vancouver Province quoted his mother as saying: "Smith said she was “really upset” with police conduct in the case and claimed that officers kept pushing her son to do something bad, but that he had refused to do so."

This is the root of the fraud. Intelligence agents manipulated a vulnerable drug addict and are trying to make it look like they saved the world from a terrorist when that is in reality very far from the truth. We know that the Canada Day bomb plot allegation is a malicious lie. He was originally arrested on March 2nd for knowingly facilitating a terrorist activity. That means their claim they save the world from a Canada Day plot was false.

The Vancouver Province is reporting that "Police allege that the accused took steps to build explosive devices and place them at the legislature, where crowds gathered on Canada Day." This allegation is a bold faced lie. They did not take steps to build explosive devices. Police agents gave them pressure cookers. When the police searched their home, they found food in the pressure cookers. They had no idea how to make bombs out of them. Period. Aside from there being no motive other than police agents trying to convince them to do something illegal, they did not take steps to build any explosives. That is false.

Clearly in this case, John Nuttall's mother has every right to stand by her son. We all should. We need to address the fact that police agents created the plot and provided materials they claim could be used to make explosives even though the suspects had no idea how to make them.

Air India was much worse. A CSIS handler helped plan the horrific event and actually did provide the explosives. CSIS still need to be charged in that case just like this one. When police agents give drug addicts weapons or explosives and pay them to say they will use them, they haven't saved the world from a terrorist, they just created one. This is a misappropriation of tax dollars.

Update: The Vancouver Province is also reporting that the B.C. Civil Liberties Association went to court Thursday, asking that B.C. Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce relax a sweeping publication ban imposed on pre-trial proceedings that began Monday.

The judge agreed to allow the media to report that accused John Stuart Nuttall and Amanda Korody, who are facing terrorism-related charges, are seeking a remedy for an alleged “abuse of process” on the part of authorities investigating the case. Details of the alleged abuses by authorities, however, remain covered by the ban.

They bloody well should seek remedy for the abuse of process. Unfortunately, they're in a criminal court not a civil court. The remedy they deserve would more likely be awarded by a civil court but it is certainly worth making the argument since their abuse of process is criminal.

Here's the problem. The BC Civil Liberties Union should not of had to spend money on an application to lift the ban when the ban itself is illegal and has no merit. Unless they are being tried by a jury there is no grounds for a publication ban. Obviously names of intelligence agencies' agents are withheld but that's it. Everything else falls under the Freedom of the Press.

Catherine Bruce ... I remember that name. She's the snowflake that threw out all the evidence after the RCMP acquired a search warrant, knocked on the front door to execute the warrant but didn't knock on the back door. From one extreme to the other. The good news is that she just might have the fortitude to break the cover up of police misconduct in this case. Only in this case it's not police misconduct it's CSIS misconduct just like Air India was.

Without naming police agents we need to name the intelligence agencies involved in this entrapment scandal. We know CSIS was the ones that "tipped off" the RCMP but the accused's lawyer said the disclosure stated US Intelligence agents were involved. We need to name the US agencies involved and clearly define their culpability in this criminal act.

Doug McCallum considers saving Surrey from the brink of destruction

The Surrey Leader and the Vancouver Province are reporting that Doug McCallum is considering running for mayor again. Three cheers! Before Dianne Watts turned tail and jumped ship, Bruce Ralston admitted he had been asked to run. He didn't say he was going to run he said he had been asked to run. I think he would make a fantastic mayor. He has been a great MP for years.

However, we don't have confirmation that he actually will leave federal politics and run for the mayor's office. If he will, great. If he won't we need to find another candidate. Linda Hepner and Barinder Rapsode are not it. They are pretty much both one in the same.

In April the Vancouver Sun reported that Doug McCallum, said the glitzy new city hall is "wasted taxpayers money" and said "I don't agree with it." He then explained why. He also said "the Surrey City Development Corporation was behind the city hall and civic plaza project, and McCallum calls for the corporation to be disbanded, claiming its existence creates a conflict of interest."

This is the most sound election platform this city has ever seen. We need to sell the new ivory tower city hall and use that money to pay for more police in Newton and Whalley. We also need to disband then the Surrey City Development Corporation because it is indeed a flaming conflict of interest. I don't care who does it but those are the two primary acts that need to be performed to save Surrey from the brink of financial ruin.

You wanna talk about tough on crime? McCallum was tough on crime. Crack houses are very hard to get rid of. When he was mayor of Surrey he worked with the police and the city to evict crack houses onto the street. I saw it. He kicked ass and totally cleaned up the plague of crack houses in Surrey. Diane Watts rode into office on his coattails and failed to deliver on any of her dramatic promises.

What we need to do now is arrest the crack dealers in Newton and Whalley. McCallum is the man for that job. We need to put together a card of counselors that will support him. We need to rise above partisan politics. We need to rise above partisan politics within the political parties. Confronting the crack dealers reduces over all crime. Fiscal responsibility is the life raft that will save Surrey and create a future we can be proud of. Low taxes attracts business.

Many years ago I confronted Mayor McCallum for closing the Front Room on a building technicality. I was outraged the city would turn their back on the homeless. I wasn't aware of their concerns about what the shelter had become as a result of having a needle exchange next door. The Front Room has become a violent drug house. I have spoken with many homeless who are too scared to stay there. We need to fix that. We need to address the violence at the Front Room. It's tied to the crack dealers preying on the homeless outside it.

Update: McCallum is running for mayor. Three cheers!

Sarkozy detained in French corruption probe

Sarkozy was detained Tuesday and reportedly questioned by financial investigators in yet another corruption probe. Detained sounds pretty close to being arrested but it does have the stench of political opportunism. There's no way I think Sarkozy should run again any more than Rob Ford should. The Right need to pick another candidate. The Right supports the Left when they pick such corrupt idiots to represent them.

France has always had a history of being passionate supporters of freedom. The French Revolution was based on the principles of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. The French were the ones that gave the Statue of Liberty to the Americans. Yet what's happening in France is a similar political problem that's happening around the globe.

First there's the obvious concern about political opportunism which goes both ways. One side wants to exploit the fact that there's more dirt on Sarkozy while Sarkozy was working hard to create dirt on his rival candidate. Looking beyond the opportunism, I really think we need to shun extremism. Here we have the right wing candidate that turns out to be a dirty dog, so they go and elect a socialist. That's extremism.

So if we set aside the opportunism and the extremism there are two acts Sarkozy did that we need to remember because they are important. One was Libya the other was Pakistan. Libya was obvious. Sarkozy was trying to convince the world we should trust Gadaffi with nuclear power. It's pretty obvious that he did receive campaign contributions from Gadaffi despite his denial. He was trying to sell Gadaffi a French reactor. As soon as Gadaffi decided to buy a reactor from somewhere else, Sarkozy lead the invasion trying to topple that "dictator."

Only nothing had changed from when Sarkozy was trying to convince the world to trust Gadaffi with nuclear power. If Gadaffi was a dictator when Canada helped France invade Libya, then he was the same dictator when Sarkozy was trying to convince the world to trust him. The only difference was the decision not to buy a French reactor from Sarkozy

As Canadians we need to remember that because we supported that tainted mission. A Canadian General was the poster boy that ran interference for Sarkozy's dirty deed. All this talk about Sarkozy accepting campaign contributions from a rich widow is smoke and mirrors. I don't care who that dirty dog slept with. The fact that he accepted campaign contributions from Gadaffi before he murdered him is totally within the realm of believability.

The other thing we need to remember is Sarkozy's involvement with the Karachi affair in Pakistan. That scandal dates back to 1994 when Sarkozy was budget minister in a government led by his ally and mentor, Prime Minister Édouard Balladur. The Balladur government sealed a deal to sell three Agosta 90 submarines to Pakistan for an estimated $950m. To secure the contract large bribes were allegedly paid to Pakistani politicians and military, as well as commissions to middlemen.

The key issue is whether around €2m of illegal kickbacks from the sale were secretly funneled back to France to fund Balladur's unsuccessful 1995 presidential campaign. As budget minister, Sarkozy would have authorized the financial elements of the submarine sale. At the time he was also treasurer and spokesman for Balladur's campaign.

The initial claim was that France was supposed to pay kickbacks and commissions to Pakistan for the submarines but failed to do so. As a result, “terrorists” bombed French engineers. The pivotal point is that Sarkozy set up a shell company so some of the kickbacks would be funneled back to him. He had his best man carry the cash. So he is the one that would be upset the kickbacks didn’t happen. I’m not saying he bombed the French engineers and blamed it on terrorists but I am saying he had a motive to do so and that is the root of the allegations.

Sarkozy's involvement with the Karachi affair in Pakistan isn't just about Sarkozy getting kickbacks from an arms deal. It's about Sarkozy being involved with murder under the guise of a terrorist act when those kickbacks were stopped. That is what we need to remember.

Canada Day: Where do we stand?

I noticed several Canada Day festivities going on in the various local communities. I guess I'm just a bit pessimistic but I'm really not in the mood to celebrate. Our civil liberty and our financial prosperity is under fire and the cloud of deception hangs over us.

The chorus to the national anthem states: "O Canada, we stand on guard for thee." So when push comes to shove what do we really stand for? We used to hold some pretty important values and ideals sacred. Stephen Harper promised that when he is done with Canada we won't recognize it and his Neo Con is living true to that promise. Justice, freedom, equality, fairness - these are principles we used to hold dear that Stephen Harper has crushed with his massive deception.

I am not left wing. I'm part Ron Paul Revolution without the legalization of all drugs. I believe in traditional conservative values. Protecting freedom, reducing taxes and balancing the budget. The same values Stephen Harper has violated with his tax and spend destruction of civil liberty.

Take that fleet of jets. Harper doesn't just want to buy a few jets which we likely need, he wants to buy a whole fleet of jets that won't work in the arctic from a company one of his candidates lobbied for. That's Brian Mulroney's Kickback Mountain times a thousand. We do need to be strong militarily. But buying a fleet of jets that won't work in the arctic while he cuts the Coast Guard and rolls back soldiers wages, pensions and benefits isn't making us strong militarily. If Russia send MIGS to challenge Canada we need to meet that challenge and face them head on. These jets won't do that but Boeing's Super Hornet will.

The bank bailout that Harper did but denies he did that everyone claims the banks in Canada didn't need was the biggest tax expenditure in Canadian history. The estimates start at $69 billion. It's not measurable because he is lying about it. Raising the age of retirement for all Canadians to pay for that is a criminal act.

CSEC is a criminal organization. It's mandate is to break the law and spy on people without a warrant. Building them a $1.2 billion spy palace on top of the billions of tax dollars a year they lose not to mention spend is a colossal waste of tax dollars. This really needs to be addressed. There is nothing right wing about this. This is an all out attack on our civil liberty.

Justin Trudeau has turned out to be the biggest deception of all. He voted with Harper to do away with the sacred Charter of Rights his own father gave us. Then he had the audacity to claim the NDP didn't support the Charter of Rights. In reality, it was the NDP, the Bloq and the Green Party that voted to save it when Harper and Justin voted to destroy it.

South of the 49 is even worse. The Fast and Furious scandal is worse than Watergate. Obama has sealed the documents hiding that criminal act under executive privilege. He's not allowed to do that. Nixon would never have been allowed to hide Watergate under executive privilege. He tried. The courts said no. The Obama deception is tied to the Bush Clinton fraud.

Edward Snowdon reported illegal activity and now they want to execute him for treason. That is scarey. That shows us how far from the founding principles of the US Constitution we have come. Some predicted that one day the Constitution would hang by a thread. That day has come. In this next civil war, which side are we on? Do we support civil liberty or de we oppose it? Take up our quarrel with the foe to you from failing hands we throw the torch. Be yours to hold on high. If ye break faith with us who die, we shall not sleep though poppies grow in Flanders Field.

Suspicious death in North River Newfoundland

The Newfoundland compass is reporting that RCMP are confirming a suspicious death in North River early Sunday morning. VOCM is confirming reports that the death was the result of a stabbing. NTV video clip.

Bus shot at in Surrey

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that 11 minutes after midnight Saturday night a bus in Surrey was shot at leaving four bullet holes in a window. Fortunately no one was injured. The motive is not known and the suspect is not in custody. The incident took place when the bus was turning off King George Boulevard onto Fraser Highway.

Another Hells Angels associate dies of suicide

I don't want to compound the sorrow of a sudden death but something needs to be said. Last weekend Gord Laing was found dead in his home from a suspicious suicide. I say suspicious because of his associations and the fact that him committing suicide just doesn't make sense. It is clear that he was a young bright light with much to look forward to. It is clear that there are many suspicious circumstances that surround his death.

Gord had a great long term job, owned his home, no relationship issues, extremely popular, good looking and was planing on doing some upgrades to his home to put it up for sale. The strange thing is that he had been running a legal grow but was planning on throwing in the towel on the grow after the Federal government changed the regulations and wasn't going to let him have a license any more. So he decided to do the legal thing and stop. Obviously the people he was growing for didn't take kindly to that idea.

The guy had just paid his property tax. Who pays up their property tax right before they commit suicide? You'd think that if someone was planning on committing suicide, they'd take that money and go on a trip first. Even the police consider this one suspicious.

It is very similar to another case April 2011 when Michael Sigouin also committed suicide by hanging. Mike was a loving father with a strong extended family, had a great relationship with his wife and was "eagerly anticipating the birth of his second daughter." His suicide at that time in his life just didn't make sense. His brother, father and uncle were HA associates.

Drive by Shooting in Surrey

Global is confirming a Scan BC report about a drive by shooting in Surrey yesterday and is reporting that: "Surrey RCMP are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened just before 7 p.m. on Thursday. It happened in a residential neighbourhood, in the 6900-block of 128 Street. The bullets blew out the window of a car but at this point it does not appear that anyone was hit. Witnesses told police there were two people shooting at each other."

Just like the one on 152nd street and 64th Avenue May 31st. Two cars driving down a public road shooting at each other. I would think that creates a public safety risk. Shootings with no victims we rarely hear about.

Son of Burma's 'Godfather of Heroin' attends trade delegation in Toronto and Vancouver

Micheal Smith nails it. This columnist from the Vancouver Province reported that Steven Law is one of the most notorious, rich and secretive tycoons in Asia, a man sanctioned by the U.S. for his family’s alleged ties to the narcotics trade and support of the former military junta that ruthlessly ruled Burma. But that didn’t stop Canada and B.C. from rolling out the red carpet this month for an Asian trade delegation that included Law, whose father, Lo Hsing Han, was nicknamed the “Godfather of Heroin.” The delegation that included Law was wined and dined in Toronto and Vancouver, where participants met with Premier Christy Clark and cabinet minister Teresa Wat.

Law’s American assets have been frozen by the U.S. government and he is banned from doing business with American citizens. So Stephen Harper and Christy Clark says come on in. “Lo Hsing Han, known as the ‘Godfather of Heroin,’ has been one of the world’s key heroin traffickers dating back to the early 1970s. Steven Law joined his father’s drug empire in the 1990s and has since become one of the wealthiest individuals in Burma.”

The country was ruled for years by a brutal dictatorship condemned around the world for its appalling human-rights record. The generals who ran the country were accused of gross abuses, including the forced relocation of citizens, use of child soldiers, state-sanctioned rape, widespread corruption and other outrages.

International Trade Minister Ed Fast said we didn't know about his background. Hard to believe but the fact that his background is now known is not debatable. What are they going to do about it? Has their position on welcoming him now changed?

Speaking of heroin, why on earth do we go to all that trouble of making up and handing out flyers warning the public of bad heroin on the street cut with fentanyl that has resulted in numerous deaths, without arresting the drug dealers selling it on the street? That is insanity. The heroin gets cut at the street level. The fact that we aren't arresting the heroin dealers on the street in East Vancouver and Surrey is ridiculous.

Surrey's Worst pick new candidate for Mayor

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Surrey First has picked a new candidate to replace Godzilla - Linda Hepner: rolleyes. Say hello to the new boss. Same as the old boss. I pick up my guitar and play, just like yesterday and I get on my knees and pray we don't get fooled again.

Diane Watts had the audacity to say Linda Hepner has integrity. Gag. I can't believe she makes those kind of outrageous statements without being afraid she'll be struck by lightening. Linda Hepner sure didn't show much integrity when she voted with Diane Watts and Surrey's Worst with the creation of the Campbell Heights Money Laundering Park.

Linda Hepner didn't show any integrity when she voted for the mega casino in a rural area despite the overwhelming local opposition to it. It takes a certain kind of person to remain defiant and vote against the democratic will of the public. Now is the time to examine what gifts and donations she personally received from Bob Cheema to buy her voted despite the democratic will of local voters.

What gift did she receive? The concern about the mega casino wasn't just the concerns about money laundering and gang violence. It was supposed to be the same scam they pulled in Campbell Heights. In Campbell Heights they flipped agricultural land into industrial for Gordon Cambell's dirty developers that contributed to the BC Liberals.

The mega casino was also slated for a rural area like Campbell Heights. Surrey First promised to flip it into industrial for their campaign contributors. Linda Hepner voted for the dirty deal despite all the voters who opposed it. Linda Hepner also voted for the slot machines in Newton which is a low income area full of seniors on fixed income who would be exploited.

Her promise to continue the momentum of the city’s crime reduction strategy is a complete scam. That's what Dianne Watts promised when she was elected and didn't deliver. Just ask the businesses and residents of Newton where the city refuses to mandate the police to arrest crack dealers in front of businesses there.

Linda Hepner also voted for the new extravagant city hall which has put the city in record debt. We need a mayor that will sell the new city hall and keep the original city hall so they can use that money to pay for more police in Newton and Whalley. Linda Hepner would be a step backwards for Surrey not a step forward. Say Hello to the new boss, same as the old boss. Go Godzilla.

A billion dollars a year in a regional gas tax isn't enough, the Mayors glutton council wants more. They've put an additional car levy and regional sales tax back on the table to pay for their Gwyn Morgan Evergreen line scam. Fire them. Tax and spend lunatics Be Gone.

Arrest made in Surrey Murder

Kim Bolan and Global are both reporting that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has arrested 42-year-old Dustin Barry Anderson for the murder of 33-year-old Shaunce Poirier. Anderson is known to police and faces one count of 2nd degree murder.

Shaunce Poirier was shot dead on Monday June 16 close to the Front Room in Surrey. He struggled with addiction. What are the odds he was killed for a drug debt? The suspect they have arrested appears to be a drug debt enforcer. He has a long criminal history for theft, fraud, trafficking, uttering threats and the possession of stolen property. In Kelowna he teamed up with his girlfriend to confine and brutalize a young woman they believed owed a debt. Similar MO to Larry Mizen.

The fact that IHIT has an arrest in this murder already is awesome. However, this public gun violence is further evidence of what happens when you let drug dealers sell crack in Newton and outside the Front Room in Whalley. Letting them sell crack in public creates a huge amount of violent crime in the community.

Another point I want to make is here we have another drug debt enforcer with a history of theft, fraud and possession of stolen property. In Larry Mizen's case, he has a long history of extorting and ripping people off he claims owed drug debts. In this case we have another drug debt enforcer who is nothing but a thief himself.

It's the same with the Hells Angels in Kelowna. David Giles and the Kelowna Hells Angels were charged in another large drug trafficking ring and at the same time they were running a stolen car, boat and motorcycle ring where they were revining stolen cars including ones they themselves fraudulently reported stolen to scam the insurance. That is low life.

More recently the Vancouver Province ran an article about a large amount of stolen property that was recovered from a home as well as various types of drugs. Drug dealers fencing stolen property. This is the tapeworm economy that Catherine Auston Fitts talked about. These are the parasites in society that are ripping off people who work for a living. In Vince McMurchy's case, that slimy drug dealer was already making good money as a longshoreman. He wanted more. He was consumed with greed and a huge amount of predatory violence and exploitation was the result.

These are human beings that we are letting become exploited by predatory drug dealers. Sadly, Shaunce had the Better Safe than Surrey logo as his profile picture on facebook. After making a philosophical post about being able to look at oneself in the mirror he made a post about being sad right before he was shot dead. No doubt someone was harassing him for a drug debt. We need to arrest the predatory drug dealers not the homeless they brutalize. Shaunce was the one in the hat.

In Maple Ridge another associate of Jesse Haddan has died of a suspicious suicide. I'll write about it and a few other cases related to it after the funeral.

Another shooting in East Vancovuer

Things have sure warmed up across the board. Kim Bolan is reporting that there was another shooting in Vancouver today. A 22 year old male was shot near Abbott and Keefer. He walked to St Paul's hospital at 2:30 AM where he was treated and released into police custody but is uncooperative with police.

A police spokesperson came out with the same old nonsense about how violent crime is decreasing over all so all these public shootings are nothing to worry about. Violent crime is not decreasing in East Vancouver. Crime statistics are being suppressed because they closed the local police station to public access. Stabbings happen there on a daily basis.

“The shootings and violence that you are seeing right now – these are targeted incidents they are generally involving people that are involved in high risk behavior, high-risk activity – gang activity, drug activity,” Montague said. True. That means we should be arresting the drug dealers that sell crack in public if we want to reduce this kind of perpetual public gun violence. The New York model is somewhat more effective than the bullsh*t model.

No public safety concerns in Surrey

The Vancouver Province is reporting that University of the Fraser Valley criminologist Irwin Cohen, a member of Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts’s homicide task force claims “It’s always concerning when you have three homicides in a short period of time, however, understanding the dynamic of the homicide is very important when assessing how at risk you are or if your community is safe or less safe.” IHIT spokesman Sgt. Bari Emam said in a news release: “We have no public safety concerns as a result of this case.” Hey Bill Fordy: TRANSFER!

Shooting at Brentwood Mall

ScanBC is reporting that #Burnaby #RCMP are investigating after a person was shot several times at Brentwood Mall in Burnaby last night. AM 730 is reporting that RCMP say the victim has non life threatening injuries. Surrey stabbing at 90 Ave & 121 St. Another in East Van. We rarely hear about all the stabbings that go on in the city on a regular basis. Especially in the DTES.

Global is reporting that the three Hells Angels that escaped a Quebec prison in a helicopter have been captured in Montreal.

Surrey Shootings - Clayton Heights and Whiterock

A drive-by shooting in Clayton Heights Wednesday afternoon that left a man wounded. The shooting took place in front of a business complex in the 7200 block of 192A St. about 3:30 p.m. Clayton Heights is a nice area near the Langley border but several gang bangers have moved into the neighborhood.

Kim Bolan is reporting that Shaunce Poirier is the name of the victim shot in Surrey Monday. There was a stabbing fatality yesterday in Newton and a dead body found in the Fraser river under the Pattullo Bridge Tuesday. Scan BC reported that #Vancouver Police were on scene with a male shot several times in a restaurant at 5073 Victoria Dr. Suspect fled in a silver vehicle.

The Vancouver Province reported that shooting was at the Lam Hoa Quan Restaurant on Victoria Drive, near East 34th. Investigators believe the gunman walked into the restaurant through a rear entrance, shot the victim, and left the same way. The shooting is the third in East Vancouver so far in June and follows the shooting of a man in March in nearly the same location.

Scan BC is now reporting that #Surrey #RCMP have located a body in a house at 2500 156 St (Whiterock). Homicide Team called as circumstances are suspicious. Kim Bolan reported that "Someone wearing HA support wear showed up at police tape, gave details of scene to someone on phone and left. Wouldn't give his name." She seemed to have been on scene tweeting a play by play after SWAT was called in and left without an arrest.

Kim Bolan is reporting that the name of this victim was Timothy Szabolcsi. Seemingly he was a con man that apeared on Dr. Phil.

Pipeline Promises

The Pipeline Protests have begun. After unilaterally removing BC's say in the proposal to build a pipeline for dirty tar sands oil across the province to be refined in Kitamat, Stephen Harper announced they have decided to proceed regardless of local concerns. Time for some court action with Stephen Harper's name on it. Especially when it comes to legal liability for damages when that pipeline leaks. No corporations without legal liability here. We need to make Stephen Harper personally liable.

Before I examine some of the very significant local concerns about the pipeline let's remember that Stephen Harper removed BC's say in the matter. That was yet another step away from democracy and another giant leap away from the principles of the Reform Party Stephen Harper has prostituted. The Reform Party promised referendums. Stephen Harper bans them.

Let me say I'm not against the idea of a pipeline. I'm just totally against how they're doing it. First, it's not refined oil going through the pipeline it's dirty tar sands oil. When that leaks and we know it will, it creates a much more significant amount of environmental damage to our drinking water.

So why not refine it at source? Why risk putting that extra toxic substance though the pipeline? Why? The other obvious concern is what to do with the petroleum coke byproduct. Detroit had a mountain of petroleum coke from Canadian Tar sands oil brought to them by Enbridge and they just didn't know what to do with it. If we don't refine it at source we will need a plan in place what to do with all that byproduct in Kitimat because putting that toxic mess onto tankers is just way too high risk for navigating our precious coastline.

Why Enbridge? They have a horrible record for pipeline maintenance and oils spills in the United States. They have we used tax dollars to create a oil monopoly and thereby destroyed the free market. Years ago the United States Supreme court ruled that illegal when the Rockefellers used ruthless tactics to obtain an monopoly on the oil through Standard oil. Anti trust laws forbade it. Now politicians who get kickbacks in campaign contributions call it good business. That is wrong. An oil monopoly is bad for Canada and most certainly bad for consumers.

Why China? Why give China our oil rights and our oil profits? Selling China oil is good business. Giving them our oil rights and our oil profits is not. Now when we get gouged at the pump because their is no free market, China gets those profits not Canada. That is messed up.

What assurance do we have that Enbridge will do a better job at pipeline maintenance and leak clean ups then they have done in the United States? Right now they are the wrong choice.

Teachers strike: Everyone’s a Loser

I was trying to bite my tongue on the subject of the teachers strike but it’s just so upsetting. Both sides are wrong and the kids are the ones who suffer. Just like in a bad divorce. I really get upset when I see teachers with signs that say think of the kids or smaller classes matter.

Education does matter. Kids matter. Screwing up their education every couple years with work to rule or strikes screws up their education. You’re only in school once. You only graduate once. The selfishness and the dishonesty is infuriating. So does that mean you are willing to take a zero percent wage increase if they reduce class size? I think not. For the first time in my life I have an uncontrollable urge to yell out Go back to work when I see teachers on the picket line this time.

The Liberal government is no better. Persistent lies to the media. Knowingly breaking court orders. If you legislate someone back to work you have to get a fair arbitrator. Not a loaded deck. OK so the teachers want another raise. Who’s going to pay for it? The taxpayers. Clearly the fiscal mismanagement of the Liberal government isn’t helping. If they didn’t screw up BC Hydro there would be plenty on money for teachers.

Think about it. In Christy Clark’s fudge it budget she claimed that she anticipated extracting a dividend from BC Hydro to balance the budget. That claim was fraud knowing full well after Gordon Campbell privatized the power brokers that sell power to the public company at above market rates they created a perpetual ballooning deficit that is about to swallow taxpayers whole. Yet if they hadn’t privatized the power brokers that sell power to BC Hydro at above market rates, they would have been able to extract a dividend to balance the budget. That would have been good business.

Instead they took that tax revenue away from the people and put it into the hands of private corporations that contribute to their political campaigns. That isn’t just bad business, it is a criminal act. If we fixed BC Hydro and got rid of Gordon Campbell’s insider trading power brokers that are ripping off taxpayers at an astonishing rate, we’d have plenty of money for teachers and a balanced budget as well. Imagine that. In the Greek financial crisis what was public money became private money then disappeared. Just like BC Rail.

Hells Angels Associate in Courtenay faces weapons charges

The Times Colonist is reporting that Bryce Cameron McDonald, 32, from Courtenay faces more than a dozen charges six months after a massive cache of weapons was seized from his home. He was arrested Dec. 19, the same day an RCMP emergency response team raided two homes and a storage locker in Courtenay.

Inside the storage locker and lockbox police found 19 firearms, including five handguns, 11 rifles, three shotguns and one loaded nine-millimetre semi-automatic handgun. Police also found thousands of rounds of ammunition, firearms parts, a Taser, a baton, and brass knuckles. Officers also seized six grams of crack cocaine, a machete and equipment believed to be used for the sale of drugs. McDonald's next court appearance is July 10 at 9 a.m. in Courtenay.

Another Hells Angels associate caught with guns and crack. Go figure.

Surrey Shooting 108 Ave and 133 Street

Scan BC reported that Police are on scene at 108 Ave & 133 St with a male that's been shot. Sounds like it's a homicide. Police said residents won't be allowed in the building for a few hours. It's right beside Gateway skytrain station and right around the corner from the Front Room.

Reflecting on Normandy: Maggie What have we done?

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the day of the initial assaults liberating Normandy on Tuesday 6 June 1944, the Legion Magazine has put out a pretty spectacular special edition as a tribute to that colossal and historic sacrifice. This Father's Day I want to remember all the noble soldiers who gave up their chance to become fathers and in so doing became fathers of freedom for us all. Lest we forget our freedom was bought with a price and can just as easily be lost if we do not remain vigilant and true to the same principles those great men fought and died for.

World War I and II were clear cut good versus evil. Fascism was invading and oppressing Europe and the world united to oppose them. After that victory there was a dark evil created from within that had the same mandate the enemy on the other side of the battlefield had. To destroy our liberty. Yet this new enemy that was created from within was based on fraud and deceit.

After the war Winston Churchill wrote a book called a Warning to the West. In that book he talked about one of his greatest concerns. He said that everyone was so focused on overcoming Fascism, that they missed another similar threat from one of our Allies, the threat of Communism. He describes in detail how Poland was tricked. How Stalin "liberated" them from the Nazis only to oppress them with Communism which continued to oppress eastern Europe for many years after the war. In east Berlin the machine guns were turned inwards to prevent occupants from escaping.

The Korean War was an extension of that struggle. Communism fueled by China took over north Korea and tried tio invade and oppress south Korea. Canada was right in helping repel that invasion. Vietnam was similar. Canada was wrong for not helping in that conflict. Yet Iraq changed everything and that deception was based on the evil from within that was created after the second world war. It was the creation of the CIA. That was the secret society Kennedy warned us about.

Two significant changes have occurred since World War II. In Vietnam the CIA began it's drug trafficking addiction under the direction of George Bush senior. In Iraq MI-6 began a campaign of deception known as Mass Appeal intentionally sending out false information about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Bush said Iraq has them, invaded and when proved to be wrong declared mission accomplished. The invasion of Iraq was about oil not weapons of mass destruction.

This is the colossal change that has taken place since World War II. When armies defend corporations not countries and civilians. A change that is continuing in Colombia where Canadian oil companies are protected by Canadian and US troops. These oil companies don't represent Canada. They represent private corporations obsessed with profit at the expense of consumers and taxpayers alike. Just like in Afghanistan.

One minute the US oil companies are wining and dining the Taliban trying to win the contract for the Central Asia Gas pipeline through Afghanistan and as soon as they award the contract to a firm from Argentina, they were invaded and that decision was reversed. Afghanistan is a clear example of the double deception of modern times. Military used to promote corporate interests as well as the "intelligence" communities addiction to drug trafficking. Right before the invasion of Afghanistan the Taliban had almost completely stopped the production of opium. After the allied invasion the production of opium increased each year to record levels with US military actually protecting the opium crops.

Libya was another example of a war we should not have been involved in. It was about oil not freedom. One minute Sarkozy was trying to convince the world we should trust Gaddafi with nuclear power then as soon as Gaddafi turns down the bid to buy a French Reactor and buy one from somewhere else, we helped that dirty dog invade and execute his biggest campaign contributor.

It's like the Pink Floyd album The Final Cut Requiem for a Post War Dream where they ask Maggie, what have we done? Referring of course to Maggie Thatcher and the noble ideals we once fought to uphold. Things have indeed changed considerably since them. Who hath done this? Who hath corrupted the fruit of the vineyard? An enemy hath done this. An enemy from within.

We cannot talk about criminal organizations like the Hells Angels without talking about criminal organizations like CSEC. CSEC's mandate is to break the law and spy on Canadians and allies without a warrant. In Brazil CSEC was caught spying on people on behalf of corporations. This has taken us to a place where corrupt politicians say one thing and do another. They say they are right wing and believe in protecting freedom, balancing budgets and reducing taxes but they do the exact opposite. A $1.2 billion spy palace is indeed a waste of money. So is losing billions of tax dollars a year from their budget. If that isn't terrorism I don't know what is. What have we done?

Nationalizing the oil or mining rights is not a bad idea. It balances the budget and reduces taxes. One of the purposes of Operation Fast and Furious was to overturn the Nationalization of Mexico's oil and take those profits out of the hands of the people and put it into the hands of a corporation.
