Sweatshop in China making the iPhone 6

A coworker was explaining to me a recent episode of the Passionate Eye he saw called Apple's Broken Promises that took an inside look at a sweatshop in China that makes the new iPhone 6. The mistreatment of the employees in our day is absolutely astounding. The same thing happened at a facility that manufactures aluminum casings for the MacBook and iPad in China. That is the epitome of greed. Apple is one of the wealthiest corporations in the world that has a complete monopoly on the iPhone. There is absolutely no need other than greed to make them in a sweatshop where human rights are violated so brazenly. This is where FIPA is taking us.

  1. Who to blame: the people who buy the products, or the stock holders who know that this is going on ? I use iPhones because it is a great product. But Apple stock holders are loath to complain for fear the value will drop.

  4. Like voting, the people have the power. We either support these practices by purchasing the products, or protest by not. And besides Apple isn't innovative, its glitzy. It has always been about sales for that company and nothing else, no depth.
