Toronto Star-Postmedia merger controls the narrative

True North is reporting that "The possible merger between Postmedia and the Toronto Star—two ideologically polar media organizations now engaged in non-binding discussions—will diminish a diversity of opinions in Canada’s legacy media, asserts an industry veteran."

No kidding. Everything Post Media touches turns to sh*t. This is another nail in the coffin for the freedom of the press. All these media mergers are controlling the news and the narrative making independent media imperative. The government is obsessed with controlling everything you read.
