Not related to this post but I've been wondering if the guy who was selling 'clean' dope from his 'safe supply' van was hot capped for flagrantly selling in the downtown east side. The article I read said that he had been clean for 15 yrs. Why would a guy (activist type) selling clean drugs to addicts all of a sudden relapse and overdose? Maybe he did, but after 15 yrs? I get the feeling there's more to it than that...
It's quite possible. If he wasn't selling for the HAs then they would have put a bullet in his head. If he went through all that hoopla to provide a safe supply in the DTES and he didn't cut the club in then that would have been a bad investment.
