  1. What an inspirational speech. I was unaware El Savador was in this renewed state. Last I knew, it was riddled with gang violence. I sure hope our politicians listen to this story, it certainly mirrors the path that the U.S. and Canada are taking.

    1. The current president of El Savador has taken a very aggressive if not radical response to the gang violence similar to the previous president of the Philippines. However, his observations of the apocalyptic drug problems in US cities is true.

  2. Letting your country be in absolute fear as it was being overunned by ms 13 is what was radical.
Bukele just did what all others were too scared to do.
Amazing what leaders who have a set of balls can accomplish in such short order.
Now if the feckless and castrated Turd would be shown the door there might still be some hope for the zombies in Canada!

    1. Very true. I'm just leery of the obvious. Everyone can see this is a manufactured emergency. Their solution is Communism which I reject. To accomplish their goal they have to get rid of the Constitution. They created this manufactured emergency to rationalize doing away with civil liberty and the Constitution. We need to protect due process.

  3. Due process is a double edge sword during drastic times. It was designed as a check and balance to keep things fair and orderly.
When the CIA was dumping thousands of organized prisoners into El Salvador from USA prisons due process had 30 years to find its way.
    It didn't!
It will return again in measured steps when this crisis is completely behind them.
Drastic times call for drastic measures.
Singing Bob Marley songs around a fire wasn't getting shit done.

    1. Yes but it's the CIA that wants to take due process away. They create a problem and offer their solution. Then, Mission Accomplished. Here, the solution is simple. Enforce the law don't throw out the Constitution and implement Communism. I like Bob Marley.

  4. Well maybe he should throw in the towel and reverse all the gains of the last 2 years to satisfy all the idealist's out there.

Pick up a guitar and start strumming "Songs of Freedom," see where that gets them again.

    1. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying I don't trust ANY of our politicians enough to give them absolute power and getting rid of the Constitution is a very bad idea.

    2. I agree, but El Salvador was an absolute drastic situation. It was lawless and people were scared to leave their homes during the day.
I think they did what needed to be done and they will be a bright star moving forward.

  5. The bigger the problem, the more drastic the solution required.

    1. Wishful thinking but the push back is needed.
