Windsor Police Constable punished for donating to the Freedom Convoy

Donald Best is reporting that "Windsor Police Constable Michael Brisco was convicted of Discreditable Conduct for anonymously donating $50 to the Freedom Convoy on February 7, 2022. The Ontario Civilian Police Commission just disallowed his appeal of the conviction and the outrageous penalty of 80 hours pay."

"The Ontario Civilian Police Commission has reinforced its position that policing organizations and individual police officers should obey political orders without question, and ignore our Constitution, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and the Rule of Law."

That is mentally deranged. Donald Best is correct. This obscene decision is a defiant violation of the Charter of Rights which each police officer has sworn an oath to uphold. People have the right to donate to any religion, charity or political cause they want to.

  1. Need to publish the names of all the members of that Commission.

  2. Well, looks like the civilian oversight we all thought would provide a counter to institutionalized power that we couldn't seem to get a choke chain around has itself been corrupted. I wonder at the name, "civilian".....Any former members or members of law enforcement families on that commission? That's a favorite trick. You need to have real civilians or it's just another attempt to avoid accountability. Seems like they never tire of it. Tricking the public I mean.

    1. It's kind of like the BC NDP's Bill 36. The College of Physicians and Surgeons used to be experts in the field elected by a group of their peers. Now there are no more election and no more specialists in the field. They are just whoever the government appoints.

    1. Someone said they hope you sue them. I misread the comment and thought it was a troll saying they hope they sue you.

  6. Don't worry.
When Marshall Law is declared and the next election is suspended due to Canada's just announced troop involvement in the Ukraine War, we'll all be going to re-education camps for voicing our opinions on the turd.
    I wish I was kidding.

  8. Funny because the courts just ruled that use of the Emergencies Act was illegal.

  9. That's great, but wait and see who is punished for having done this. There will be no consequences.

    1. True but again the push back is needed.

    2. When Turdreau isn't PM anymore, will we say that was the "push back"? Is that really enough? If the punishment is not enough to dissuade the behavior, it will re-occur. There's a reason treason used to be punished by execution or exile. Turdreau knows we now longer have the guts for the former and the latter wouldn't work, he'd be on a plane to Havana for an extended visit with relatives before you could say "DNA Test".

    3. Getting rid of Trudeau will be a step in the right direction. Withdrawing from the WHO and the UN would be the next step to rejecting the UN's New World Order.

  10. I think Canada’s entire legal system is Out of Order from courts to tribunals. Tribunals should be scraped, they now operate beyond their intended purpose and are a duplicate to the criminals code. The court system needs to be cleaned up and cleared out of biased and prejudiced judges. No such thing as common law because there’s no common sense applied in court.
