Derek Brassington's Surrey Six Affidavit

As I have previously mentioned, I have in my possession the transcript to Derek Brassington's misconduct interview with the Ontario Provincial Police regarding the Surrey Six investigation. It is 447 pages long. There are too many names mentioned in it for me to black out, so instead of posting the document I was simply summarize it and give you the readers digest version.

As we go through it I want to highlight three things. 1) There is a huge difference between Anton and DK. 2) There is an even bigger difference between Derek Brassington and Corporal Bulford. 3) Larry Amero's associations with Jonathon and Jamie Bacon predated the Surrey Six.

The first 50 pages are bullsh*t. It's a pity party for the drama queen who goes off on his life story staring about how he desperately wanted to become a police officer ever since Grade 3. He took French in grade eight because he wanted to become a cop. He did work experience with the police because he wanted to become a cop. He enrolled in a criminology diploma at SFU because he wanted to become a cop. When he was kicked out of SFU for bad grades he enrolled in a two year criminology degree at college because he wanted to become a cop. We get it.

Page 51 he is asked to give an overview of the Surrey Six investigation. He gets it part right. He remembers Cory Lal, Chris Mohan and Ed Schellenberg, forgets some of the others and apologizes to the family if they read his deposition. That explains the pity party. He's trying to rationalize his misconduct for the families of the victims.

Aside from Porky Pig's GF and the threesomes, it appears that Derek Brassington first had an affair with DK's GF. Since Porky Pig's GF is of most significance I will refer to her as Person J.

Before I critique his version of events in the Surrey Six, I will point out an observation he made while at Depot training to become an RCMP officer. He claimed that there were a lot of guys from different backgrounds at Depot. Some were married some were single. He said that he would hear some of the married guys on the phone talking to their wife and kids at home then call up their Regina flings and be all oh baby. He said he did not think that was very appropriate. Yet that's exactly what he did when he got out of Depot.

This is not the first time we have heard about sexual misconduct in the RCMP or at Depot. In fact, during the sexual harassment class action lawsuit, we even heard of inappropriate relationships between trainers at Depot and cadets. It doesn't get any more unprofessional that that. That is completely unacceptable. Don't get me startled on Bill Fordy and the Friends of Craig Callen.

In his deposition, Derek Brassington said that DK killed three and Cody Haevischer killed three. That was correct. However, the circumstances surrounding Chris Mohan's murder was false. He said that Chris happened to look inside the suite and saw what was going on so they pulled him in and killed him. Derek admitted that didn't make sense. Surely if you plan on killing someone, you're going to shut the door. So where did he get that information from? He obviously got it from DK who wanted to rationalize his murder of Chris Mohan.

Chris was at home on his way to a basketball game. He was not the type to look into someone else's suit. It's far more likely that he simply witnessed them enter the suite. It's even possible that Chris only witnessed DK and for that reason DK dragged him in. Chris kept saying I don't know these guys. He has nothing to do with them. That didn't matter. They shot him anyways.

I will point out that DK started working for the police after Anton so the information Derek got about Anton from DK was tainted. DK told Derrick that Anton started working for the police because he was upset about not getting invited on a trip afterwards. That is ridiculous.

Anton decided to work for the police because he was moved by Chris Mohan's mother's grief as we all were. Anton was Jamie's original bodyguard. Jamie couldn't go to the gym without a bodyguard. Jamie wanted Anton to kill Cory becasue Cory thought Jamie was an idiot and Anton said no. That's why he wasn't there. He agreed to confiscate the gun from Cory which he did.

When DK said he and Jamie were there he lied. Anton has street cred. DK did not. All DK did was play ice hockey in Abbotsford with old timers and earn a reputation for roid rage. DK was the POS that killed Chris Mohan for no reason. That speaks to his character or lack thereof. It appears that Derek was DK's handler. That would explain how he became acquainted with DK's GF before sleeping with her. Somehow I doubt that Derek was Anton's handler. That wouldn't have worked. Derek and DK were a better fit. Birds of a feather.

In his deposition, Derek Brassington said that Jamie Bacon ordered the hit. That was correct. That brings us to the dubious nature of the current Surrey Six Appeals. In January of this year, Dr Spin reported that "Cody Haevischer and Matthew Johnston have had their convictions set aside, even though the court also upheld the 2014 guilty verdict against them." This was done in secret.

Last week CTV reported that "The Appeal Court didn't order a new trial, concluding a B.C. Supreme Court judge did not err in excluding Haevischer and Johnston from a pretrial hearing in which a key witness testified behind closed doors. However, the court ruled the trial judge did make a mistake in dismissing an application from the two men for a hearing that would have allowed them to contend their rights were violated by police misconduct and by a lengthy period of solitary confinement before trial." AYFKM? Uphold the guilty verdict but set their sentence aside because they spent time in solitary. That would be obscene.

Personally, I think this is a farce. Upholding the guilty verdict while setting aside the sentence is exactly what happened to the Bobsy Twins before they started cooperating with the police.

May of 2020 the Castlegar News reported that "Jamie Bacon will be tried, again, on charges of murder and conspiracy in connection to the Surrey Six killings. Charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the 2007 Surrey Six massacre were stayed against Bacon in December 2017. The reasons the judge granted the stayed ruling remain sealed. Crown Counsel appealed that decision shortly after. On Thursday (May 21), the BC Court of Appeal announced it had granted Crown’s appeal following an in-camera hearing."

There's a lot of shady sh*t going on right now. Blaze is still trying to spam my blog wit ridiculous comments. Who is Blaze? Donnie McWhirter. He is not in prison. An interesting document recently came across my desk. It's Derek Brassington's interview with the OPP who were conducting an investigation into his misconduct during the Surrey Six Investigation. It's freaking 147 pages long. I'm going through it blacking out names before I post it but I hesitate to do so until Jammie Bacon's appeal is heard.

Let's face it, Derek Brassington and Jamie Bacon are both POS. I don't give a f*ck about Derek's grade three dream to become a police officer. He was a married man having threesomes with witnesses. Oh but he fell in love with the witness. Oh really? Which one? Both of them? GMAFB. Did he also fall in love with DK's GF as well? Bullsh*t.

I don't want to disrespect Derek's wife or his kids. More importantly I don't want to disrespect Chris Mohan's mother. I saw the sorrow in her eyes when they shot her innocent son dead. That's what moved me to start this blog. Jammie Bacon ordered the hit on Cory Lal because Cory thought he was an idiot and refused to pay tax to the Red and White.

Anton wouldn't do it so he got his new bodyguard DK to do it after Anthon confiscated the gun from the victims so they knew the people they were sent in to shoot were not armed. Then Jammie turned on DK and ordered a hit on him because that's the way they roll.

Letting Jammie Bacon off because an investigator slept with a witness would be a gross miscarriage of justice. He plead guilty. This case isn't about a criminal versus the police. It's about a criminal against the mother of an innocent son they murdered and the wife and children of an innocent man they murdered simply because they were potential witnesses to their crime.

Chris Mohan and Ed Schellenberg weren't in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ed was at work doing his job. Chris was at home leaving to go to a basketball game. They were doing what they were supposed to be doing. The outrage over their murder continues to this day.

Natural Justice cries out for vindication. No doubt the court will see the interview I have in my possession. I want to see what the court decides. The interview claims the witness gave her statement before she started sleeping with the investigator. The Supreme Court stated that "Public interest requires an appeal." That is a true statement. This is about the public interest. It's not about an unprofessional cop. We don't need to know all the gory details of the sealed documents. We need justice for Chris Mohan, Ed Schellenberg and their families as well as justice for the people of Surrey who abhor that ruthless act happening in their community.

The most outrageous breach of justice is the fact that Jamie Bacon is still allowed to traffic drugs in prison. The Red Scorpions is predominantly a prison gang now. The Hells Angels are paying the Brothers Keepers to cap the Kang group so Jamie Bacon aka Porky Pig, the horder of pumpkin pie, can have complete control of the RS. The HAs are putting him in charge because he's an idiot and can't make it on his own. That way he pays more tax to them.

Seymour: The bowl to First Peak

Today I went snowshoeing on Seymour again. Only I used crampons. It was steep and icy so snowshoes would have been useless. Two weekends ago the snow was awesome. Last weekend we had that pineapple express come up and the mountains got hammered with rain. Then the temperature dropped again and they got some fresh snow last night. That's life on the west coast. We take what we get. In the interier the snow is much more consistent.

I made it to Brockton Point and as I looked through the gateway to the trail up I noticed First Peak was completely fogged in. I was going to turn back but the visibility on the trail was fine so I proceeded. As I got to the summit the clouds lifted just high enough to see Second Peak. You couldn't see the city or the mountain panorama because they were hidden by clouds. I kinda wanted to get the cardio in because no gym sucks.

That will fill up with snow pretty quick now that the temperature has dropped. All the rain we get now will be snow on the mountains. I think Seymur opens up for skiing next weekend so it will be difficult to get parking. Grouse and Cypress have snow machines. You could see one working on Grouse through their webcam. It looked pretty cool. I think they just spray a mist of water that freezes. That's why it has to be below zero for it to work.

During winter, the bowl to First Peak is one of my favorite places. It gets a ton of snow and the wind blows forming sand dunes of snow. It's pretty awesome. In the summer the trail up is pretty rocky in places but in winter the snow fills up all the cracks and it's smooth sailing.

Coquitlam shooting

CTV is reporting that "A man was taken to hospital after a shooting in Coquitlam's Westwood Plateau neighbourhood Saturday evening. Police say his nine-year-old son was in the car with him when the shooting occurred, but was unharmed." AYFKM? That is really f*cked up. Have a little self-respect guys. Leave the kids out of this. Especially at Christmas!

CNN Fact Checks Joe Biden

We all know that of all the mainstream media outlets, CNN is the most ridiculous. I see Canadian men in Surrey wear T-Shirts that say CNN: Fake News Network. Yet what I find both ironic and suspicious is the fact that they have turned on their puppet king Joe Biden and I attribute it to the US withdrawal in Afghanistan. They're not fact checking him on the pharma fraud.

The article is of no relevance whatsoever other than the fact that they have turned on him. Tulsi Gabbard, the vocal opponent to the Democrats war machine was surprisingly opposed to the US withdrawal in Afghanistan. She is credible and respected. However, I do agree with Joe Biden on the withdrawal from Afghanistan. That prolonged occupation had nothing to do with 9/11.

When Biden first took office CNN was bragging about how many executive orders he signed right away. He didn't think those up himself. Someone had a stack of orders for him to sign and he signed them. Is it possible the US withdrawal from Afghanistan was actually his idea? Image that.

I know I should just keep my mouth shut because getting rid of Joe Biden is in everyone's best interest but his successor should not be given a blank cheque. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That is why the checks and balances were drafted into the Constitution. To keep governments accountable to the people who elect them.

Alec Baldwin Responds To George Clooney's Comments

This is just so wrong. Alec Baldwin's denial is out of control. He needs to have a sit down with Dr Phil and talk about personal responsibility. Cinema Blend is reporting that "Alec Baldwin Responds To George Clooney's Comments About Gun Safety On Sets." That reeks of a political disinformation campaign in the court of public opinion. This is what George Clooney said:

He mentioned he knew actors who have died from firearm accidents on set and referred to Brandon Lee. He said because of those accidents, he always checks the gun himself. Like everyone is trained to do. Alec responds to him publically and says mind your own business. Maybe checking the gun every time works for you. I had a different protocol and it works for me. Evidently not. Telling anyone that they should not check the firearm themselves when handed a gun is completely irresponsible. All we see from Alec Baldwin is denial and zero accountability.

George Clooney also said "And maybe they weren’t even using that gun for target practice, but they had live ammo with dummies in her pack. And that is insane. It’s infuriating."

He said that because some claimed they were using the guns for target practice between scenes which totally falls within the realm of believability. Alec Baldwin denied that. I think he's lying again because he refuses to accept responsibility for his mistakes.

Alec Baldwin obviously wasn't using the guns for target practice because he hates guns and knows nothing about them. No doubt other people on set were. George Clooney also made reference to low budget films hiring inexperienced armourers.

Alec Baldwin recently said he would never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger yet that's exactly what he did. Obviously it was an accident. The reason people are taught to keep their finger off the trigger is to avoid an accidental discharge.

Alec Baldwin is trying to blame the gun. He's telling all his brain dead liberal friends that evil gun just jumped out of his holster and shot someone dead. I didn't point the gun at anyone, the gun did. It was in his hand when it went off. It's not physically possible to accidentally shoot someone unless he was pointing the gun at them unintentionally. Alec Baldwin lies about the fatal shooting.

One of the reasons I hate Christmas is because it drives people insane. It's supposed to be a happy peaceful time but for some reason almost everyone turns into raging lunatics and act like complete as*holes. I don't really hate Christmas. I hate people. Just sayn.

It is better to dwell in the wilderness than with an angry and contentious person.

Christmas is for kids. There's nothing better than finding the perfect gift and seeing the joy and excitement on that child's face. That is magic. LCUC, the old Letter Carriers Union's favorite charity was the Make a wish foundation. It grants wishes to critically ill children.

CUPW hated that charity. For some bizarre reason, the Communists in CUPW saw it as a capitalistic idea and crushed it after the forced merger. To this day I cannot understand why they hated that charity so much. I think it's a wonderful idea. Making kids' wishes come true.

The Great Smog of 1952 and the Fake Environmentalists

The Weather Network is reporting that "Saturday, December 4th 2021, 1:07 am - Starting Dec. 4, 1952, smog took over London, England, for five days. A high-pressure air mass over the Thames River Valley mixed with the sudden cold air that came in from the west. The city had low temperatures so coal furnaces were blazing across residences. Adding to residential pollution, there was also smoke, soot, and sulphur dioxide from cars, industrial plants, and buses."

The smog was the result of coal. There are far more cars and busses in London now then there was back then. I lived in Ireland for two years in the late /80's. At the time, everyone heated their homes with coal fireplaces. In the south it was open fireplaces and in the north, it was enclosed fireplaces with radiators. Cork is a famous city in the south that is home to the Blarney castle. At the time they had a thick LA smog from all the coal fireplaces.

I wrote home about it and my father said that is exactly what West Vancouver was like when he and my mother were first married. They all heated their homes with coal fireplaces and they had the same LA smog. I was surprised to hear that and shocked what a transformation natural gas had made in Vancouver. That has changed.

In one generation all that toxic smog was gone. Obviously, there's still pollution but the coal fires made the pollution horrific. Industrial coal is the largest source of CO2 emissions on the planet and Communist China is the worst offender. Burning coal to generate electricity is not green.

The article about the Great Smog of 1952 in London states that many people died from the sulphur dioxide in the air. That's what you get from burning coal. The fake environmentalists refuse to recognize what a colossal improvement natural gas is over coal. Making solar panels by burning natural gas is far cleaner than making them by burning coal.

59 illegal firearms seized at Canadian border

Narcity is reporting that "Two people crossed a river by boat into Ontario with 59 illegal guns and were arrested, according to police. In a press release posted on December 2, Cornwall RCMP said members with their integrated border integrity team conducted a firearms smuggling investigation on November 26 after two people crossed the St. Lawrence River into Cornwall."

"Three big bags were taken off the boat and put into a vehicle that left the area, police said. RCMP then carried out a roadside stop of the vehicle and found illegal firearms and high-capacity magazines. Officers seized a total of 53 restricted and prohibited pistols, 6 prohibited rifles, and 110 high-capacity magazines. Quebec residents Inti Falero-Delgado, 25, and Vladimir Souffrant, 49, were both placed under arrest."

This is where most of the illegal guns in Canada come from. They are smuggled across the border from the US. They do not come from legal gun owners because restricted firearms are all registered. No one commits a crime with a registered gun. They use throw aways instead.

Narcity is also reporting that "This is not the first large gun seizure in Ontario in recent weeks. Last month, an American woman was arrested at a land border in Ontario after Canada Border Services Agency officers discovered 56 illegal firearms in the trunk of her car."

The three stooges' murder trial continues

Vancouver is Awesome is reporting that in their murder trial, Gumby was shown pictures from the Kelowna shooting scene where he was injured, his buddy Jonathon Bacon was killed and Spike's niece was paralyzed.. "Amero nearly fainted. The case was stopped as sheriffs gave him water. He was taken out of the courtroom while the co-accused remained."

"When the Bacon killing went to court, Jason McBride pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and attempted murder and was given a life sentence with no chance of parole for 18 years, while Jujhar Khun-Khun and Michael Jones pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, and were sentenced to 18 years imprisonment. That case heard the shooting was in retaliation for the October 2010 murder of Gurmit Dhak, the leader of the Dhak Group gang."

Partial truth. Yet the Dhak Group didn't start the violence. Larry Amero started the violence when he got Jammie Bacon to orchestrate the Surrey Six. The Dhak Group had nothing to do with that.

February 3rd 2009 Raphael Baldini was murdered in the Guildford parking lot. The Dhak Group had nothing to do with that. That was Larry Amero and the Bacon brothers. It was a follow up purge to the Surrey Six where the Hells Angels took over the Red Scorpions from the UN.

Nicole Alemy was shot dead in Surrey Feb 16th 2009 with her toddler in the car. The Dhak Group had nothing to do with that. That was Larry Amero and the Bacon brothers. It was a vindictive follow up purge to the Surrey Six. Nicole's husband was tied to the UN and the Red Scorpions out of the Surrey Six condo just like Raphael Baldini was.

Johnnie Raposos was murdered in Toronto on June 18th 2012. The Dhak Group had nothing to do with that. Both of Larry Amero's current co accused were convicted of that murder - Dean Wiwchar and Rabih Alkhalil. Robby worked directly for Larry Amero and Dean worked for Robby. Larry Amero and Jonathan Bacon attended one of the Alkhali's weddings in Ontario long before they were shot in Kelowna. Robby said Dean was his best hitman.

Larry Amero was a two bit thief from Walnut Grove who got juiced up and joined the Hells Angels because his Dad was a longshoreman and he had money. This drama about him almost fainting in court after seeing pictures from the Kelowna shooting is totally pathetic. How many similar murder scenes has Larry Amero been responsible for? Too many to count.

When Larry and Robby were busted in that huge cocaine ring back east, two of the Quebec members skipped town right before the bust. They found out about it from a dirty cop. There was no way of notifying Larry and Robby because all their communication was monitored.

One of them was killed and dismembered in Colombia. The other was tied to a chair and beaten to death then dropped in acid over in Greece where Robby was hiding out and Damion Ryan got his patches. Damion got his filthy few patch after killing the fugitive that came to him for help. Larry Amero has lost his mind. Where do you think that road leads? Robby's siblings are dead.

The Tiger Dam in Abbotsford went across the 401 freeway

We all heard that they built a dam in Abbotsford to prevent flood water from going onto the 401 freeway and we were like good on them. At first, I thought damming the Sumas river is a bit problematic because that would create another lake but at least then you could control the flow of water. However, that's not what they did. Today Global showed video footage of them dismantling the temporary dam. The dam they built went right across the freeway it was supposed to protect. The dam was blocking traffic. This level of stupidity is one for the history books.

The problem was the dike and the pump. The dike broke because it was .6 meters below design and the pump couldn't keep up with the extra water. Instead of shoring up the dike and adding another pump, they completely blocked the 401 freeway. I can't make this sh*t up.

All they needed to do is put a second pump at the Barrowtown pump station. They still need to do that. Failure to install a second pump and shore up the dike is criminal negligence. When you sandbag or shore up a river you shore up both sides of the river not one. This Tiger Dam was simply a theatrical production. Once again we see that the NDP is NFG.

One could say that it would have been easy to "miss" the report that said the Abbotsford dike was too low. One could even say that it would have been easy to miss the fact that the Americans removed a diversion dam in the Nooksack river July 20 2020. However, we now know and to not do anything about it would be insane. We now know the US diversion dam has been removed. That means more water is coming down the Nooksack river than before. We have to deal with that. A second pump to pump the excess water into the Fraser river and a higher dike is crucial.

Alec Baldwin lies about the fatal shooting

The BBC gave a prelude to Good Morning America's offensive and ridiculous interview with Alec Baldwin after his accidental murder of Halyna Hutchins on set. The headline reads "Rust: Alec Baldwin says he didn't fire gun on film set." AYFKM?

The BBC article states that "Alec Baldwin says he didn't pull the trigger of the gun that fatally wounded cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film, Rust. The star made the claim in his first sit-down interview since the incident in October. 'I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them. Never,' he told George Stephanopoulos of ABC News."

"Ms Hutchins was shot and killed as Mr Baldwin rehearsed with what he believed to be a cold - or safe - gun on the set of Rust in New Mexico. It is believed to have discharged when he removed it from a holster during rehearsals for a forthcoming scene."

The gun was in his hand when it went off. He broke all four of the most basic and important rules of firearms safety. He said he would never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger. Yet that's exactly what he did. There's no way of getting around that.

The main stream media loves Alec Baldwin because he is anti-gun and anti-Trump. I'm sure Colion Noir will have something relevant to say about Baldwin's recent interview but while we wait for that, I will point out the obvious.

Alec Baldwin claims that the gun went off as he drew it from the holster. Yet it was in is hand when it went off so he had to have pointed it at her and he had to have his finger on the trigger. I think he's lying. If he was wearing a shoulder holster that would have been theoretically possible but he wasn't. It was a western. He was wearing a side holster. That means when he drew the gun, it didn't sweep across an unsafe direction. If the gun went off when he drew it from the holster, it is theoretically possible he could have shot himself in the foot. People who are inexperienced with guns have done that before.

What this case boils down to is a complete refusal to accept responsibility for one's actions. Adding the crocodile tears to that makes it even more offensive. He's an actor. He gets paid to fake feelings. If he was remorseful, he'd be more willing to accept responsibility for his mistakes.

I say mistakes plural because he made more than one mistake. He broke all four rules of gun safety. He did point a gun at someone, he was not aware of what was behind his target, he did have his finger on the trigger and he didn't check himself to see if it was unloaded. He broke all four of those rules and he needs to own that.

As far as the claim that the gun went off when he drew it from the holster, some semiautomatics can have sensitive triggers. The Glock has a safety built right into the trigger. If you bump the gun, it won't go off unless you actually pull the trigger.

However, the gun Alec Baldwin fired was a colt .45 revolver, it was not a semi-automatic. It was a single action revolver. That means you have to manually pull the hammer back before the trigger will work. That means having an accidental discharge as he draws the gun is highly unlikely. Impossible if your finger is not on the trigger. It doesn't go off all by itself.



Colion Noir already explained how Alec Baldwin broke the four carnal rules of gun safety. Colin also talked about Alec's ridiculous request to have police officers on set wherever firearms are used. The cop's not there to baby sit him. He's not there to say don't point that gun at anyone and keep your finger off the trigger. That was Alec's responsibility. You can't have cops on every set just because you're an idiot who has no idea what you're doing. Again, this is all about finding someone else to blame instead of admitting he made a mistake.

The court case against Alec Baldwin has two elements. First is the indisputable fact that he broke all four rules of gun safety. The other is the fact that gun safety was an ongoing concern on that set. That's why there was a walk out the morning before the fatal shooting. Those two elements are indisputable. Not even the fake news can spin that.

The Omicron Con - Decepticons at work

Update: The Hart Group posted a relevant article on Omnicron. "While one expects viruses to ‘mutate down’ due to natural evolutionary pressure, thus making them less deadly, it is sensible to monitor their progress and plan accordingly. But Dr Angelique Coetzee, chair of the South African Medical Association, who was one of the first doctors to observe patients with this strain of Covid-19, has described Omicron’s symptoms as “extremely mild”. Professor Angus Dalgleish has pointed out that 'the early signs are distinctly encouraging. Many patients have reportedly recovered quickly from what have been very mild symptoms'."

Here's a question for you. How can the PCR test tell the difference between Covid, Omicron and the Delta Variant when it can't tell the difference between Covid and the Cold or Flu?

The PCR test is worthless. Why are we still using it? That's part of the problem. One of the girls at work said the name of this new Omicron variant sounds like a Transformer. She's absolutely right. Surrey's municipal police force has now begun

Alaska Highway News is reporting that "Surrey residents can expect to spot an anomaly in their police force starting Wednesday. That's when 29 Surrey Police Service (SPS) officers are expected to deploy alongside the Surrey RCMP as a first “boots on the ground” step to transitioning from the federally regulated department to the new municipal unit. The B.C. government approved the switch — championed by Surrey Mayor Doug McCallum — in February 2020." Jacked and Jill are sporting the new Surrey uniforms.

US Court blocks Biden's vaccine mandate for Health Care Workers in 10 States

Children Health Defence is reporting that "A federal court on Monday temporarily blocked the Biden administration’s COVID vaccine mandate for health workers at hospitals that receive federal funding, providing a temporary reprieve for healthcare workers in 10 states who faced having to be fully vaccinated by Jan. 4, 2022, or lose their jobs."

"U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Schelp issued a preliminary injunction against the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Emergency Regulation requiring nearly every employee, volunteer and third-party contractor to receive their first dose by Dec. 6 and meet the Jan. 4, 2022 deadline for both doses. The preliminary injunction pending trial prevents the Biden-Harris administration from enforcing the CMS mandate in the states of Missouri and Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Wyoming, Alaska, South Dakota, North Dakota and New Hampshire."

In his ruling, Judge Schelp wrote: “The independent power of the states serves as a check on the power of the Federal Government: by denying any one government complete jurisdiction over all the concerns of public life, federalism protects the liberty of the individual from arbitrary power.”

"It is likely the Biden administration will either seek an emergency injunction pending appeal in the 8th Circuit Court, or will wait for rulings from cases filed in three other states."

Three Shootings in Surrey - Update

The Abbotsford News is reporting that "Three shootings in Whalley in as many days have left three victims injured, one critically so. Surrey Mounties says they all appear to have been targeted but not related to one another. Police are exploring links to the drug trade."

"The first shooting happened at 5:13 p.m. Saturday in the 13300 block of 95A Avenue. A 58-year-old woman was shot in a driveway and taken to hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening."

"The other two happened early Monday morning. The first was at 1:20 a.m., in the 10600 block of King George Boulevard. The victim, a 26-year-old man, sustained injuries that weren’t life-threatening. Shortly after, a 45-year-old man was shot just before 3 a.m., inside a house in the 9600 block of 137 Street. His injuries were considered to be life-threatening."

Update: CTV is reporting that "A shooting reported in Surrey, B.C., earlier this week is now a homicide investigation following the death of the victim. Officers found the injured victim inside a home on 137 Street early Monday morning."

"The 45-year-old, who has not been publicly identified, was described as having life-threatening injuries at the time. He was taken to hospital where he died the next day. As a result, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken conduct of the case. The fatal incident was one of three unrelated shootings reported over the weekend in the city."

145 tons of Colombia cocaine seized

Reuters is reporting that "Military and police authorities from more than 40 countries across Europe and the Americas confiscated 145.3 tonnes of cocaine in the eighth phase of Operation Orion, a multinational naval operation against drug trafficking, Colombia's navy said on Monday."

"Some 575 people of different nationalities were captured during the campaign, which ran between October and November, Colombia's navy said, adding that 49 vessels were immobilized, as well as six submarines and three planes."
