Looting and Lawlessness

One blog reader pointed out how civilized Japan was after the earthquake and reactor leak and how uncivilized the rest of us are in the West as shown in the Vancouver hockey riot, in New Orleans after the hurricane and in London now. Obviously there are more good people out there than bad and that criminals get empowered by a mob. Yet it is clear that Japan has shown to be much more civilized than the rest of us in the West.

The Vancouver hockey riot was the epitome of spoilt brat stupidity. There was no reason. A bunch of brats just wanted to trash things. The rest of Vancouver was outraged. They came out to help clean up and were vigilant in reporting facebook friends who bragged about rioting. Yet the front page of today's Vancouver province pointed out the cold hard truth. London has already charged 100 rioters. Vancouver has yet to charge any. That is an embarrassment.

My point is lawlessness is self defeating and very short sighted. Kids in a mob can temporarily feel empowered when they are allowed to use violence to vandalize, loot or start fights but the laws they break are the same laws that were protecting them. If they can loot a store, then anyone can take from them what they took from the store. If they can burn someones car or home, then someone else can burn their car or home. If there is no law or police, anyone can assault them for no reason. Lawlessness doesn't just leave everyone blind, it leaves everyone impoverished.

Looting after an earthquake or hurricane is equally absurd. Where are ya gonna plug in that big screen TV buddy? Your house has just been destroyed. I had previously mentioned during the Vancouver riot having spoken with a man who lived in Chicago during the Chicago riots. He said they lived in the suburbs and all had guns. He said they all got together, pulled out their guns and said if you bring that riot to our neighbourhood, we will shoot you dead. Right or wrong it prevented the riot from spreading.

Likewise, Londoners are ready to fight back. Here in Surrey some kids were vandalizing cars. A gang member came out and saw the kids vandalizing his car. He pulled out his gun and shot him dead. Right or wrong it sent a clear message. No doubt if a Vancouver riot was to spread to Surrey, we would fight back to protect our homes and our property as well as the Businesses who contribute to our community.

Trashing all the small businesses isn't sticking it to the man. It's killing your community by destroying small business there and making it so that only the huge corporations that make massive profits and pay crappy wages will be able to survive. It is shooting yourself and your own community in the foot.

Having said that, it is important not to be distracted by the looting and the lawlessness, so we don't forget the stunning injustice which sparked the riot.

London Calling

London is calling and the message is clear but the violence needs to stop or the message will be lost. After three days the London riots have subsided but have spread like a wild fire to neighbouring cities. The vandalism and violence swept through Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and several other cities.

My first response is hold the door. Vandalism and looting are senseless. You have no idea how important this case is. Don't blow it for everyone. They say where there is no justice there will be no peace. I say there can be no justice without the truth.

We can talk about the social conditions in England all we want but let us remember what sparked the riot. Mark Duggan was shot dead while being followed and arrested by police. The police claimed they shot him after he fired upon them. They claimed he shot an officer in the chest and the bullet hit the officer's radio. They then said after the officer was shot "marksmen" opened fire and shot him dead.

The family said that didn't make sense. They said it was out of character. They held a protest at the Tottenham police station. Many others showed up and it turned into a riot.

Well the ballistic report is in. The ballistic report claimed that the gun found in Mark Duggan's possession had not been fired and that the bullet that hit the police officer's radio was from a police issue firearm. Mark Duggan did not shoot at police. They lied. Not only did they lie, they were caught lying. This is profoundly significant.

We need to take a deep breath, appeal for calm, stop vandalizing and looting and start organizing and marching. Where is Martin Luther King when you need him. It's like Russel Crow in the movie Gladiator. When we see the rioters vandalizing and looting we can hear the words "Marcus Aurelius had a dream for Rome and this is not it." Indeed Martin Luther King had a dream for England and this is not it.

Martin Luther King offered a different way to right wrongs and confront injustice. He walked the high road and made a profound impact on the globe. The IPCC report is profound. I am absolutely shocked they reported the truth. There is no way the police officer's radio could have been hit from a ricochet from the two shots fired at the suspect. They said the suspect fired at them. They lied. It is clear that they shot the radio to make it look like the suspect had shot at them when he hadn't. They were trying to cover their tracks.

This profoundly significant fact needs to be addressed. All of the officers involved need to be suspended without pay and not only face disciplinary action for lying but face criminal charges for falsifying evidence and breach of the public trust. You're not willing to do that you say? Well don't look now but your country is on fire. Where there is no justice there will be no peace. You can't create justice out of a lie. If you want to fight lawlessness you have to come clean and charge the officers who lied with murder and breach of public trust.

There's a lot more I have to say on the subject but that will suffice for now. The violence needs to stop. Vandalizing and looting is pointless. You're trashing your own neighbourhood. That will not right this wrong. It will only make it worse. You need to organize, march and speak out. As the violence is brought under control, the grievance needs to be addressed. All the officers involved who lied about what happened need to be suspended, charged and tried. No justice, no peace. Know justice, know peace. Mark my word.

The Bloc Tory

On the lighter side we once again see a humorous revelation. Turns out that a high ranking member of Harper's caucus used to be, brace yourself, a member of the Bloc Québécois. Gasp. What a scandal. Not. Who really cares?

The Harper media madness has been railing about the fact that the interim NDP leader used to be a member of the Bloc. Who cares? It's obvious that many voters in Quebec switched from the Bloc to the NDP in the last federal election. The federalists should be thrilled and welcome them with open arms. Unless of course Mr. Harper really isn't a federalist. With all the railing accusations perhaps it's Mr. Harper who is the real separatist. After all he does hate the French and he does hate immigration.

The perpetual hysterical hypocrisy is concerning. It's just like when Harper was the drama queen about the evil coalition when in reality a letter was produced showing his intent to form a coalition when the tables were turned. Hypocrisy and censorship are a bad combination.

Syria's sadness and madness

Syria's crackdown on free speech and lawful assemble has just entered the twilight zone. Not only are they using live ammunition to fire on peaceful protesters, now they are firing at mourners at funerals. Such a bizarre crackdown has even earned Syria a rebuke from the King of Saudi Arabia who himself sent troops in to fire on unarmed civilians.

Two lawmakers and a religious leader have since resigned due to the extreme brutality of the crackdown. This is something you'd expect to hear coming out of a Communist country and read about in the Gulag Archipelago.

It makes me question the motive behind the military intervention in Libya. Saudi Arabia is a monarchy that was firing live ammunition on protesters. Not a word was said. Saudi is a friend of the West and let's US troops stay there.

The rebels in Libya took up arms against the government. When the government fired back, the media twisted that to sound like Gadaffi was firing on unarmed protesters like in Saudi or Syria which simply wasn't the case.

Syria's brutality is off the chart and will likely result in the success of the protest. Libya has oil and Gadaffi is left wing. That's why there is military intervention in Libya and not in Syria or Saudi Arabia.

As we can see, the general public get frustrated when dishonest governments start stealing pensions and making huge budget cuts to pay for military fraud, banking fraud and stock market fraud. The motive is suspect.

Grisly details in Vernon Greeks trial

The Vancouver Province has been following the Vernon Greeks murder trial in Vancouver. Pretty bizarre details about one of the murders came out in court.

Ron Sparks, a former enforcer for the Greeks gang of Vernon, testified that gang members were angry and agitated when they couldn't reach one of their dial-a-dope lines. The gang tracked down Marnuik and took him to a building they called the office, said Sparks, 45, an enforcer for the gang from 2000 to 2003. (If he had stolen from them, he would have left town, but he didn't)

The office. I'm not sure where that was but we do remember that before the trial started the media reported Marniuk's death was linked to last year's extensive search of a Vernon warehouse that had links to the Hells Angels. The place on Fairweather Road is owned by Zenon Stepkowski whom police confirm is an associate of the Calgary chapter of the Hells Angels.

The media reported that warehouse was involved in the murder. I have no idea if that was the office they were referring to in the trial since I was not present and have heard nothing about the trial except what the newspapers have been reporting.

The court was told Sheldon O'Donnell, one of five members or associates of the Greeks standing trial for murder, taped Marnuik to a chair. O'Donnell - along with a second gang member who cannot be named because of a publication ban - and Sparks then started to punch Marnuik, Sparks said.

A second gang member who cannot be named due to a publication ban. What on earth is up with that. Why would one of the named suspects get a publication ban and not the others. That is very strange indeed. In fact, when I search the court registry for the other names of the accused, nothing shows up. Except for Zenon Stepkowski's 2011 assault charge when his co accused was charged with theft and a 2009 income tax case.

Anyways, Sparks claims they taped the guy to a chair and beat him with their fists, a pipe and a baseball bat. Sparks one of them seriously burned the guys hand with a blow torch. They then took the body into the bush near Enderby, set it on fire and ground it up. Enderby is the same town where Stepkowski had his income tax case.

The five originally charged are: Dale Sipes, Les Podolski, Sheldon O'Donnell, Peter Manolakos and Douglas Brownell. The trial is expected to hear from more than 100 witnesses and involve between 200 and 300 exhibits.

I think the main thing to remember when reading about the details of the Greek's trial is that they were affiliates of the Hells angels. They beat and murdered their own. Police claim one of the five victims was a Hells angels affiliate. Like I say, with friends like that, who needs enemies.

Andre Raymond has already plead guilty to being involved with four of the murders. In November 2004, Raymond helped lure 31-year-old Thomas Bryce, who had allegedly threatened to kill an associate of the Greeks, to a beach near Vernon.

As Raymond distracted the victim, an associate came up behind Bryce and struck him over the head with a baseball bat. Bryce was then repeatedly struck by the bat while lying on the ground. Wearing his Harley Davidson boots, Raymond then struck Bryce on the torso.

As they fled the scene, one of the Greeks used his vehicle to drive over Bryce's body. An unconscious Bryce was taken by ambulance to hospital where he died 17 days later, never having regained consciousness.

In April, Ken Beck pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the killing of Hewison and received a life term with no parole eligibility for 10 years.

William Mastop, a lawyer from Vernon, was charged by direct indictment, which alleges he took part in the activities of a criminal organization between August 2000 and December 2005.

London in Turmoil

Update: Third day of riots spread to Liverpool and Birmingham. This is not good. This does not build bridges. It just tears them down.

I'm saddened to hear of riots in London again. North London, Tottenham. Reminiscent of the riots in /85. I stayed in Brixton, South London a few years after the riots. The front line was a long line of businesses that had been boarded up and abandoned. After the riots the businesses never returned. It left the community decimated. Mind you the Brixton Market was awesome.

So what was the cause? Well it wasn't because someone lost a hockey game. It was because a local resident was shot by police. Mark Duggan, 29, was shot dead by police Thursday while he was being placed under arrest.

A small crowd, mostly consisting of friends and family, had gathered Saturday outside the Tottenham Police Station to protest the killing of Mark Duggan. Others came, violence started and the demonstration turned into a riot.

There are conflicting reports about the conditions of the shooting. Some reports claim Mark Duggan was in a taxi and started shooting at police. When police returned fire Duggan was killed. If that be the case it's hard to understand how that could cause a riot. Unless of course that wasn't the case.

Mark was from the "notorious" Broadwater Farm Estate in Tottenham. When I stayed in Brixton, I met a guy selling hash on the front line. He gave me a tour of the area and described what happened there during the riots. He mentioned Tottenham and Broadwater Farm Estate. He said don't go there. They'll drop a fridge on your head. So of course I went.

No one dropped a fridge on my head. I heard some Regee music playing in the background. Not blaring offensively. It was just cool and clam. It was nice. It kind of reminded me how everyone used to talk about Divis flats on the Falls Road in West Belfast. I met a lot of really nice people there.

No doubt we'll wait for the ballistic report to come in. Yet the official story does sound suspicious. The police admit it was a covert operation and that they were following the suspect in a taxi. The police claim the suspect fired at them and hit an officer in his radio on his chest. Right after that "marksmen" opened fire and shot him dead. What I personally find suspicious is terms like covert operation and marksmen.

Covert operation is a term used by intelligence agencies not under cover police. A covert operation with marksmen on scene would reinforce that. Sure an under cover drug investigation could technically be referred to as covert and such an operation would have SWAT or whatever the British equivalent would be, yet I find those terms suspicious. Why would the family hold a peaceful protest if Mark was a know drug dealer who shot at the police?

There are many unanswered questions and I'm not sure an inquiry will be able to answer them. One thing for certain is that this is a horrible thing to have happen right before the Olympics. No one wants riots during the Olympics and no one wants London to turn into a police state either. Let's rebuild a better future.

Banksters

William Black was a regulator during the Savings and Loan scandal in the /80's. He wrote an interesting book called "The best way to rob a bank is to own one." He claims that the current financial crisis and economic meltdown is driven by fraud. Micheal Moore interviewed him in his movie Capitalism a love story where he stressed the difference between Capitalism and Democracy. Greed is not good. With regards to bank deregulation it has been said, When you destroy financial regulation you create a financial catastrophe.

Just for the record, you're not going to hear me make statements like, share the wealth. You're going to hear me make statements like stop the fraud. Stop letting white collar criminals steal from the public purse. It has nothing to do with left or right. It's just common sense. If you let criminals steal from the public purse, there will be less money to balance the budget which adversely affects the economy. Privatizing and deregulating everything simply opens the door for fraud and theft. We've seen it with the prisons. We've seen it with Enron. We've seen it with the Banks and we've seen it with Wall Street. Or in our case the VSE.

US Debt Fraud

I'm having a little bit of trouble with the math. The US's national debt is in the news of late and I'm trying to pinpoint just how much of that debt was stolen from fraud. The day before 9/11 Donald Rumsfeld said the Pentagon can't account for 25% of what it spends and has lost $2.3 trillion. That is mucho dinero.

We're told that the US debt has now hit $13 trillion. The reason people are concerned is because it's starting to over take the GDP. So $2.3 trillion missing is a large chunk of that debt.

The invasion of Iraq was based on a lie. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. Another $3 trillion later Bush said "Mission Accomplished." That's another $3 trillion stolen from fraud. Add that $3 trillion to the mission $2.3 trillion and we get $5.3 trillion which is an even bigger chunk of the $13 trillion debt.

England is also reeling from over expenditures and much of their debt has result from what John Rees from Stop the War Coalition refers to an addiction to war. England spend a lot of money on the invasion of Iraq and their bank bail out. Now they are scrambling to pay for that by stealing pensions and recking havoc on public programs.

John Rees pointed out that on the very first night of the attack on Libya, over 100 cruise missiles were fired. Those missiles are $100 million worth of resources blown up in one night. It doesn't take a great deal of imagination to calculate how many places at University that would mean. How many libraries that would mean. How many hospitals that would mean.

The rebels in Libya were not peaceful protesters. They took up arms against their government and have killed their own leader and two top aids. Funding that rebellion is not cost effective.

Back to the US debt. The War in Afghanistan is more of a grey area since we were told they were responsible for 9/11. Even though Bin Laden was found in Pakistan not Afghanistan and even though Unicol was wining and dining the Taliban prior to 9/11 trying to win the contract for the oil pipeline in Afghanistan. The US troops in Afghanistan, aside from cultivating and harvesting opium are also defending the oil pipeline now that the Taliban's decision to give the contract to Bridas has been reversed.

So we'll give them the benefit of doubt and we won't include the money spent on the invasion of Afghanistan as being directly related to fraud. But we will include the money spent on the Invasion of Iraq as contributing to the fraud debt as well as the $2.3 trillion Donald Rumsfeld claimed was missing before 9/11. I will however say privatizing the military is dangerous.

Now let's look at the money spent on the bank bail out. The Greek financial crisis was created by investment fraud. Just as the US and the British Bank bail outs were. The pattern of defrauding a bank then bailing out out with tax dollars has been tried before. It is a scam. BCCI was a scam tied to money laundering and arms smuggling. Bailing that out with tax dollars is wrong.

OK so how much did the US bank bail out cost? $700 billion. So Iraq, the missing $2.3 trillion and the bank bail out cost $6 trillion. That is a large portion of the 13 trillion national debt that has everyone so concerned. Some claim the Wall Street bailout is much larger. My point is, stealing pensions and closing schools and hospitals to pay for white collar crime is wrong. Controlling that debt by reconsidering the mission in Libya and safeguarding ourselves from pump and dump investment fraud is crucial for our own sovereignty.

Once again Michael Moore points out the obvious.

MPs review Supreme Court nominees

MPs helping to narrow down a list of potential Supreme Court of Canada nominees held their first meeting Friday and got their first peek at who's on the list. Let's hope they don't promote any more lawyers for the Hells Angels to the bench. The last thing we need is another Peter Leask or James Brunton.

Pickton Red Herring Inquiry

Speaking of the Pickton Red Herring Inquiry led by Wally the limp fish Oppal, let's take a look at the Red Herring mandate. Some say the mandate of the inquiry is to find out why the police took so long in finding the Pickton murderer and if the police did in fact fail to make it a priority because the victims were drug addicted prostitutes. The apparent mandate of the inquiry is to find out why justice was delayed.

I call it the red herring mandate because justice was never served. There are a lot of unanswered questions that will never be answered by the inquiry because of it's limited mandate. Funding isn't the issue. All the anti poverty groups can still participate with their own worker advocates. The Province said they're not going to pick up the legal fees for each and every group. Which is kind of understandable yet somewhat hypocritical given the millions spent on the Bassi Virk defense fraud.

The Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs and the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council say they have several concerns with the inquiry, including the narrow terms of reference and the appointment of former B.C. attorney general Wally Oppal as the commissioner.

No kidding. Wally Oppal is a former judge and the former AG. Aside from him being a limp fish on justice which likely played a significant role in why he was not reelected, it is a conflict of interest. When Jim Chu addressed the public at the Carnegie centre locals said they do not support Wally Oppal heading the commission.

Yet the real issue is the mandate of the inquiry. It's an inquiry into the police investigation. It has nothing to do with a public release of all the evidence that led them to believe there might have been other offenders and it has nothing to do with making public any and all evidence that caused the Crown to ask Robert Pickton on the stand if the Hells Angels were involved.

My argument all along was that all reports claimed Robert Pickton was slow and deferred to his brother Dave who ran the pig farm. I did not believe that Robert Pickton could have been the mastermind behind all those murders and do so without the knowledge of his brother Dave. There's no way he could have hid it from him.

Well low and behold the court hears that Dave Pickton did in fact have foreknowledge of the murders on the farm. In January of 2007 the court heard that The brother of accused serial-killer Robert "Willie" Pickton told police he knew about "bodies" and showed investigators where to look.

So not only was Dave Pickton convicted of sexual assault on that same farm and was accused in a second sexual assault on the farm, he admitted he had foreknowledge of bodies buried on the farm only he claimed Dinah Taylor was responsible. Yeah right. If he knew about the bodies, he was involved. Not only does that make him a suspect it makes him culpable because hiding a murder makes you an accomplice to murder.

The whole issue of the involvement of the Hells Angels has not been addressed in court. The crown asked Robert if the Hells angels were involved and he said no. Would he have said yes if they were? What made the crown ask that question? The defense submitted that there was considerable association between Dave Pickton and the Hells Angels. The witness that was supposed to testify to the fact that Hells Angels attended parties at Piggy's Palace was chased out of town and never testified. Later a musician told the Vancouver Province that Hells Angels were there all the time. That evidence was never submitted to the court.

Then there's the grow op. The Court also heard that police believed a marijuana grow-op in an unlicensed "booze can" across the street from the Pickton farm was connected to the Hells Angels. I'm assuming the booze can was Piggy Palace. This is the first I heard of a grow op on site. We know the Hells angels have a long history of using violence to take over grow ops in BC.

I realize the likelihood of convicting anyone else in this case is highly unlikely especially if they were members of a criminal organization. Nevertheless, the public inquiry should be public. That means the evidence in the voir dire - anything and everything that gave suspicion of organized accomplices should also be made public. That won't cost a cent. Especially with the news of Juel Stanton's involvement with someone from the Surrey House of Horrors where dna from one of the Pickton victims buried on the farm was found.

It is a bizarre twist to hear that Geoff Meisner's father was involved in the Pickton investigation. His son later became involved with the Hells Angels and the Kingpin crew in Kelowna. Geoff went missing in 2009 and was legally pronounced dead by the courts in 2010. I don't think it's related I just think it's bizarre. That was another tragic case. Too many people have died from organized crime. It's time to make the evidence public.

“All the attention so far has been on Mr. Pickton … but now there should be discussions about others who may have been involved and played a role,” Mr. Crey said. “I don’t mean to sound bitter, but I think [the Christy Clark government] should be sensitive and respond to the families who want to see more done. … They need to take another look at it and try to decide if other charges should be pursued.”

Just ask anyone in Maple Ridge. I am told that not only did the Hells agnels attend parties at Piggy's Palace and have a grow op on site, witnesses claim the Hells Agnels ran the bar. That needs to be addressed.

Surrey House of Horrors murderer released from prison

Wow. The Vancouver Province just ran an article and video of a murderer from the Surrey House of Horrors who has been released from prison. Joanna Larson confessed to murdering Annette Allan. She beat her with a hammer and stabbed her nine times with a screwdriver. Wrapped her up in a blanket with rocks and dumped her body in the Fraser River. She was sentenced to 18 years in prison for manslaughter. That was six years ago.

Larson was given double credit for 2½ years in pretrial custody and went on to serve another four years and three months. She was released on day parole in September 2009. There are parts of her story that I simply do not believe. There are parts of her story that I do believe.

We are told that she went into prison totally unrepentant. When she was sentenced to 18 years for manslaughter Larson looked around the courtroom and smiled at those sitting in the gallery. When she was led out by sheriffs, she blew everyone a kiss. That is evil. That is a monster. She admits she had no remorse.

She claims she saw the light two years into her prison sentence and now wants to work with youth. That thought makes me ill. Six years for a brutal murder is just plain wrong. What's she going to say to the youth? Don't be like me kids or you're have to serve six years for murder then become a celebrity retelling the gruesome murder and telling people you've changed. She expects to be doing night relief work at a Downtown Eastside shelter any day now. It's a union job paying $20.50 an hour. That is so wrong. Let's put Hells Angel associates who have committed murder in charge of all the shelters in East Van. Maybe they can hand out free crack pipes and run a tips line for people who want to report abusive drug dealers. Great idea.

I do not believe in an eye for an eye. I believe people can change. She claims everyone thinks she's a monster. She is. She claims she is not the same person. That has yet to be seen. One of the reasons I'm skeptical is because I don't think she's being completely honest.

She claims she tried to strangle Anette but couldn't do it. I don't believe that. Choking someone unconscious is pretty easy and a lot more humane than beating them with your fists and a hammer for hours on end and stabbing them nine times with a screwdriver. If she could beat Annette for hours with her fists and a hammer and if she could stab her nine times with a screw driver than she could strangle her. I think she is lying about that part. Having no remorse doesn't imply she had any reservations about strangling her.

Before we go any further let's examine the motive. She accused Annette of being a rat. Annette's friend was right about the allegation and claimed it was not true. She claimed Larson admitted ripping her off for her drugs and thinks Larson ripped her off and covered her ass by pretending she was a rat.

Nevertheless, Annette was murdered because someone thought she was a rat. The Surrey House of Horrors was a crack house for prostitutes. The police believe crack addicts were tortured there just like they were in the basements of crack houses in Prince George. If that's true, Annette wasn't the only one tortured there.

Who was the supplier of drugs for that crack house? There was a house fire a few doors up the street. I personally saw graffiti on the house that said Hells angels pimp Whalley Girls. When I made a post about that someone accused me of being Anton and threatened me for talking about things I shouldn't be talking about. Someone thinking I was Anton for talking about it to me implies the allegations have merit.

Gregg Carr pointed out there was a house on that same street between 13710 and 13734 108 Ave during that time period where a Hells Angel lived. Well a red pickup with 2641-HA on the plate. The House of Horrors was at 13832-108th Ave. Kerry Ryan Renaud was a long time meth cook in Surrey for the Hells Angels during that time. Toxicology confirms Meth in Anette's system when she was found dead. A lot of Meth in her system.

We known the East Vancouver Hells Angels hired Mickie (Phil) Smith to kill Paul Percy Soluk at a Surrey crack house. Which one was he killed in? We know Juel Stanton was involved with taking over grow ops for the Hells Angels in Surrey. (page 126) If the Hells Angels controlled the drug trade in Surrey at that time, I can't see how it would be anyone but the Hells Angles who were supplying the drugs for the crack house and profiting from the prostitution that went on just like it was said a few doors up the street.

The Jones brothers' incitement implicating Tbarz in that huge cross border pot for cocaine drug ring demonstrates that the Hells Angels are the biggest suppliers of cocaine in Surrey.

Juel Stanton and his brother Norm were involved with Richard Doucet who was also involved with the Surrey House of Horrors at that time. Don't tell me Stanton was murdered for his propensity for violence. He was a prospect when he was charged with beating Alexander Goldman with brass knuckles and taking over his grow op for the Hells Angles after Doucet kidnapped him. If he didn't do it for the Hells Angels, he wouldn't have been given his patch afterwards. One source claims Stanton was working for Giles who ordered the hit to prevent the disclosure implicating him from becoming public.

Larson claims that Anette was the only person murdered in the Surrey House of Horrors that she is aware of and it wasn't as bad as everyone thinks. I think she is lying. Sex trade worker Yvonne Boen's DNA was found in the same crack house as well as on the Pickton farm. An unknown man was also murdered there dubbed John Doe. Annette wasn't the only murder. Larson is lying. Pickton. Pickton.

Extremists claim there is a demand for free crack pipes

Front page of the Vancouver Sun yesterday was an article about the plan for Vancouver to hand out free crack pipes. Never mind singing about a warm San Fransisco night. This program will attract crack addicts to Vancouver from across the country.

The article quotes one extremist who claims that more people are switching over to crack and there is a large demand for free crack pipes. No kidding. There's a large demand for pedophilia too. Do we start supporting that next? There's a large demand for murder as well. Do we start handing out free guns to satisfy that demand?

I cannot over emphasize how wrong this program is. Never mind shooting ourselves in the foot. This program shoots ourselves in the head. It makes policing not only counter productive but a waste of time.

Needle exchanges were supposed to be exchanges. You turn in a used dirty needle and you get a free clean needle. The intent was to help reduce the spread of Aids and reduce the number of dirty needles being thrown out in allies and school yards.

I met a Victoria resident who complained about the fact that in Victoria they stopped making it an exchange and just started handing out free needles. As a result there were twice as many used needles ending up on his lawn and all over the neighbourhood.

The other automatic problem is that where ever you have a needle exchange or hand out free mouth pieces or crack pipes, police allow drug dealers to sell drugs in public in that area. As a result, drug use and crime in that area skyrockets.

Every city has good and bad. The Vancouver hockey riot was a perfect example of that. A bunch of spoiled brats empowered by the mob destroying private property just because they can. It was an embarrassment for the world to see. The next day a huge number of people were outraged. Volunteers came out to help clean up. Activists posted photos from facebook to help identify rioters for the police.

What if a new facebook group of rioters was to start demanding the city hand out free lighters and free rags to help them set cars on fire? There's a demand for it. Just because there's a demand for it doesn't mean we are morally obligated to fulfill that demand. Idiots.

These Xanadu freaks from Vandu are part of the problem. Handing out free crack pipes is a corporate stunt organized crime would pull. "Here ya go. Your first three hits are free. After that you are addicted and become my personal criminal slave."

Handing out free crack pipes supports the drug dealers pushing Native women out of hotel windows in East Van for drug debts. It supports crack addicts being tortured in crack house basements in Prince George or those filmed being beaten to a pulp by wing nut Tony Terezaki at the Cobalt or the American Hotel. Vandu doesn't say much about supporting that but they do.

Take a look at what crack does to people. It's sad. These are human beings. Supporting them ingesting that poison is not compassionate. This program is as much of an embarrassment for Vancouver as was the hockey riot. The majority of good people out there need to vote against it and support the four pillars not just one.

Pandora's Pharmacy in Victoria started handing our free needles and there was a huge increase in dirty needles all over that neighbourhood. Why were they handing out free needles? Because they were also a methadone outlet. They were paid by the government to give people methadone. Only patients on the program are not encouraged to decrease their dosages. It's a pharmaceutical scam. Doctors who get kickbacks from supporting methadone are in a conflict of interest promoting that program or others like it.

One person wrote in to the Province and said "Giving our crackheads free pipes is a boneheaded move."

1 800 Fast Pay dot com

Looks like the Kelowna cyst Russel Penner has a new loan shark company called 1800fastpay.com Strange the interest rates aren't posted on the web site. So tell me, where is the documentation for where the money for the loans comes from? At least he's into banking now and isn't involved with that meth lab on Postil Drive. Are his friends in the Hells Agnels involved with his new company?

B.C. Mounties hunt for suspect in brutal sexual assault

Update: The suspect was found in Osoyoos and is now in police custody.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for David Wesley Bobbitt. Bobbitt operates Dave's Second Hand store in downtown Penticton, where a woman was allegedly confined, beaten and sexually assaulted for several hours in front of her young son. Let's find this guy before the Hells Angels patch him over for the Renegades. Penticton is where Stephen King was living before he skipped town.

Vendettas MC MB

Things have quietened down in Winnipeg. It's amazing what a few arrests will do. It's almost like it's only a handful of people perpetrating all the violence. Winnipeg recently saw a spike in gang violence after the Rock Machine and it's Shadow group the Vendettas MC started to fight back against the Hells angels and their support club the Redlined Support Crew.

Of course we find out that the violence started because the Hells angels killed one of their own to let the Village Idiots from Ontario take over the drug trade in Thompson, Manitoba. That betrayal understandably created some animosity. Now we hear one of the dingledorfs from the GTS in PG went to Winnipeg and crossed over. That's just a rumor floating around the net.

The GTS in Prince George are facing two charges of gang rape at the Renegades clubhouse. Renegades of course are a Hells angels puppet club in PG. Stevie Wonder wasn't on the list of members charged in the gang rape so he either skipped town or he wasn't involved so they can't say they kicked him out for committing rape. They're paying the other accused lawyers.

I had commented on how I thought the Rock Machine had a better logo than the Hells angels. An eagle head is way better than a helmeted skull with devil horns. So why does a Rock Machine support group go and put devil horns on their logo? Doesn't that look really juvenile? Then there's the secrets.

The biker war isn't a biker war it's a drug war. It has nothing to do with defending the honour of a fallen brother. It's just about fighting over the right to sell crack and that is really messed up. Legalizing everything won't stop the violence it will only make it impossible for the police to control because they won't be able to arrest anyone for selling crack. They'd just be able to give them a ticket if they were doing it without a license.

Legalizing crack is socially irresponsible. Handing out free crack pipes is socially irresponsible. Clayton Rouche, the founder of the UN showed loved for his brother by helping him over come his crack addiction. Getting off crack was a horrible experience but in hindsight James Coulter said: "Clay had a very big heart. I will never forget how he helped me get out of addiction. I will never forget - he put a lot of money and a lot of time into getting me clean; I didn’t really notice it at the time - how much love he was putting into me. But I do now.”

Stop the Insanity

The news of Vancouver handing out free crack pipes really has me riled. Harm reduction without the other three pillars is a one legged horse that goes nowhere. I mentioned the fact that Vancouver is handing out free crack pipes at work and one person asked why. They said they could understand why they have needle exchanges since people can get aids from a dirty needle but they couldn't understand why we would hand out free crack pipes.

Maybe it's because someone could get a cold from sharing a crack pipe. No doubt there are some diseases other than aids that crack users could get from sharing a dirty crack pipe yet the whole program is totally insane. Some doctor in a conflict of interest says it's a medical issue and that somehow overrides the democratic laws regarding illicit drugs. No it's not.

Giving an alcoholic alcohol is not in their best interest. Giving Amy Winehouse free crack pipes would not have been in her best interest. Compassion for the addict means we help them. It doesn't mean we hand out free guns to commit suicide with and then deny responsibility for murder because we didn't give them the bullets.

Judicial system

There are elements of our judicial system that need to change. Minimum sentences for violent crime like murder and drive by shootings involving innocent bystanders. Prolific offenders is another. There's an Aldergrove judicial lobbyist group that started over the issue of property crime. Crack addicts would steal from them and the more offenses they committed, the less time they swerved in jail. They printed up t-shirts that said "Revolving door makes judges accomplices."

The VPD put out a video talking about the problem of prolific offenders. A small number of prolific offenders committing a large percentage of crime with absolutely no consequences whatsoever. Most of these prolific offenders were stealing to support their addiction.

Locking a prolific offender who steals to support his addiction up in jail for three months is not excessive. It is in their best interest. I'm not saying we should arrest every crack addict for being an addict. I'm saying we should give a prolific offender who steals to support their addiction three months in jail away from the drug. We shouldn't be giving them free crack in jail. Some of these enabling programs are insane and humiliating. They are humiliating because they mean well but they are counter productive and are not compassionate at all.

Enforcement is one of the four pillars. Locking a crack addict in jail for three months who was caught selling crack is not excessive. It is a goal within reach. Arresting crack dealers for selling crack in public is the New York Model. It has proven effective.

The Hells angels are the ones profit ting from all this misery. It's time I start another web page that keeps track of all the drug convictions the Hells angels have been involved in. Collecting that jurisprudence so that the Hells angels as an organization get charged for hiring a murder of for selling crack is more effecting that locking their mules away in jail. All the happens is they find another mule while they are untouched by the law and continue to profit from murder and misery.

More free crack pipes for Vancouver

This shows how f*cked up our country is. We're going to cut funding for the RCMP and the Gang task force, raise taxes through the HST to pay for more prisons for nonviolent crimes like the possession of pot while we hand out free crack pipes at the taxpayers expense. Need I say more? This is so wrong.

Nanaimo got rid of the program but the special interest lobbyists brought it back. No wonder the police are frustrated. The law biding citizens are frustrated too because the politicians simply are not listening. The public sale of crack fuels the gang war and the violence associated with it. Handing out free crack pipes supports drug dealers pushing addicts out of windows in East Van for drug debts.

Enforcement, prevention and treatment are three other pillars the special interest spoilt brats completely ignore. They just scream harm reduction over and over again until we become complete enablers and our economy and tax revenue is sucked dry. Brilliant.

Bacchus Pride rally in Saint John

Speaking of Gay Pride, the Hells Angels are holding their own Bacchus Pride rally in Saint John this weekend. Three cheers for the Hells angels and the City of Saint John for publicly endorsing Bacchus Pride. We all know that Bacchus was indeed the patron saint of homosexuality.

The Fredericton police had warned council that the North Star Sports Bar Pub and Eatery had become a magnet for Bacchus and Hells Angels members. At least one Bacchus member, Ron Richard, denied allegations the club has plans to expand in Fredericton in an interview with the Daily Gleaner. He said members just enjoyed going to the pub to party and have a good time. Yeah right.

"We're just old men who like to party with strippers and Viagra. I'm sure their wives and children are thrilled about that. At what point were they planning on growing up?

So if the Rebels wore their colours at the North Star sports bar in Fredericton, and if the Hells Angels and Bacchus admitted they liked to party there, what does that say about their affiliation with the local Rebels?

So what affiliation is Rob and Mike Bubba McLaughlin aspiring to? Maybe Mike wants to trade in his faith for a 666 patch. Be careful what you wish for. You won't be independent after you sell your soul to the devil. Let's just hope they don't sell any more crack or crystal meth in town. No doubt they are under the watchful eye of the po po. Party on dudes.

Gay Pride in Vancouver

Well Gay Pride has been in the news with all the events leading up to the Pride Parade. It's become a huge corporate event. The Vancouver Province ran an article about a Kwantlen University professor and former Surrey North MP Candidate who simply expressed his opinion on twitter saying they should ban the Gay pride parade because of it's vulgar display of sexuality. Let's see how long he keeps his job.

This is where we need balance between the extremes. Obviously no one is going to ban the Vancouver Gay Pride Parade. It's too big of a corporate event. Yet everyone has the right to express their opinion and I think it's important to identify the concern he raised.

What two consenting adults do behind closed doors is no one's business but their own. Beating up someone for their sexual orientation is archaic. Yet do we really need the public display of promiscuity? The whole point of Gay Marriage is a strange controversy. People are going to be gay. Why then get all freaked out when a gay couple want to make a commitment to be faithful to each other?

Some extremists claim that the down fall of Rome was because of their acceptance of homosexuality. I beg to differ. I think it had more to do with their acceptance of promiscuity. I'd be interested in hearing what all these vocal opponents to gay marriage have to say about the TV series desperate housewives. In my opinion adultery is worse than a gay couple promising to be faithful to each other.

The point of the professor's rant was a concern about the public display of sexuality. Nudity, Lingerie, whips and chains, free condoms. Is this something we really want to bring our kids to? I'd certainly like to. I'd like it to be a family event. Some responded with the argument that the Pride Parade isn't for everyone implying that the sexuality really isn't intended for kids. Do we really need that aspect of it then? Let's clean it up so we can bring our kids instead of polarizing the community and thereby creating more division and hate and let's not fire this professor for expressing his opinion.

Top Libyan rebel slain by allied militia

I realize no one cares but this bombing of Libya thing sure has me confused. The latest news is that the head of the rebels along with his two top aids, who we are supporting, were assassinate by his own troops, who we are also supporting. Witnesses have said they were killed by fellow rebels after being taken into custody on suspicion of treason.

Meanwhile, NATO warplanes bombed three Libyan state TV satellite transmitters in Tripoli overnight. While mandated to enforce a no fly zone, NATO troops are bombing local TV stations restricting the freedom of speech. At what point did NATO change hats?

The whole mission is suspect from day one. First, go in to enforce a no fly zone to facilitate a cease fire and then immediately start bombing one side. Then it clearly becomes a war for oil as NATO help the rebels take a major oil production city.

My first concern was who are the rebels? We have no idea who we are supporting. Unlike Syria where unarmed civilians are being fired upon with live ammunition, the protesters in Libya took up arms against their government to which NATO rushed in to support.

Turns out that the Rebels were tied to Al-Qaeda. I suppose as long as they aren't left leaning like Gaddafi that's OK. Until they overthrow Gaddafi with our help and we then have to send in troops to overthrow them because they turn out to be another dictator.

Glad to hear that we are cutting funding for the RCMP and the Gang Task force and are facing more criminal convictions dropped because of a shortage of court funding so we can spend millions of tax dollars bombing a foreign in country because we want their oil. It's not like the oil companies will drop the price of gas for that blood money either so what's the point?

If we are going to rob Libya of their oil to get cheap gas one could at least rationalize that immoral act. Yet all the profits are going into the oil company's pocket. Tell ya what, instead of spending all that money bombing Libya let's just send all those tax dollars straight to the oil companies. That way we cut out the middle man and less people will die for a lie.

Jeff Oldford

Jeff Oldford is a person of interest in Kamploos. He was found guilty of theft in April 2008, charged with sexual assault in Dec 2010 and recently was charged with trafficking a controlled substance April 2011. One source claims he's the new leader of the Independent Soldiers in Kamloops.

16 years in prison for cocaine trafficking

Well this is a partial victory. Two men convicted of possession for the purpose of trafficking in connection with the largest cocaine bust in B.C. history have been sentenced to 16 years in prison. Actually second largest. The larges bust was the 2 1/2 tons of Hells angels cocaine that didn't result in any charges at all. Although it was destined for the BC Hells Angels, that boat was seized on the US side of the border so I guess they're not counting that one.

This goes back to that suspicious sailboat in Port Hardy where 1,000 kilograms of cocaine were seized. I say partial victory because the criminal organization that was involved with the shipment of that much cocaine wasn't even named.

We are left with two thoughts. Everyone knows what criminal organization I think was involved with that size of a shipment. The Jones Brother's indictment in the US cross border drug ring would support that hypothesis.

Yet the other thought is lengthy prison sentences. Will long prison sentences stop the crack epidemic in our towns and cities? No, but it's a good start. True, when people are killing each other in the gang war, if someone isn't deterred by the threat of death they will not be deterred by the threat of a long jail term. However, it does remove the feeling of invincibility a mule has when working for a large criminal organization like Robert Shannon was.

Unfortunately, the reality of the situation means that since the criminal organization was not named, they'll just find another mule. Which simply means we must continue to be vigilant in reporting organized crime to the police. Especially since Harper has cut funding for the RCMP and the Gang Task force.

Ecstasy case thrown out over charter violations

My first thought when reading the headline was another crackpot judge throwing out another gang related drug bust over a stupid technicality. Like the case where police when exercising a search warrant knocked on the front door but failed to knock on the back door too. Throwing out all that evidence over that technicality was absurd. Or setting Jon Bacon free after he was caught with two machines gun and a silencer.

However, this case is a little more complicated and warrants a discussion on the importance of the Charter and the right to be protected from unnecessary searches and seizures. Obviously that clause has many of us dealing with the violence of a drug related gang war frustrated.

Historically, the clause was added to the US Constitution after the founding fathers in the American revolution said they didn't want big brother meddling in their affairs all the time. The purpose of the clause was not to help organized crime. The purpose of the clause was to prevent us from becoming a police state like in a Communist country or under the Third Reich where citizens can be randomly searched at any time for any reason. It is easy to see how that could easily be exploited if the police simply wanted to harass someone for their religious or political beliefs.

Personally I think if you're a known gang member then that would suffice as just cause to randomly search that known gang member when they go out in public for drugs or guns. If you're a known gang member with a firearms ban then that would be just cause to randomly search that known gang member or their vehicle for firearms. Not in their home in the middle of the night. When they go out in public and threaten public safety.

The courts don't necessarily see it that way but I don't think we should change the Charter and water it down. The problem rises in what the police define as a gang member or a terrorist. If you are a Branch Dividian, does that make you a gang member or a terrorist? No it does not. What if you are a member of a trade union or a Muslim? Does that make you a terrorist or a risk to public safety? No it does not.

Protecting the charter is an important thing. Yet it is also important to remember the spirit of the Charter and the reason it was introduced. The purpose of the charter is not to protect organized crime it is to protect individuals right to freedom of association. Now that freedom of association does not include the right to commit crime or belong to a criminal organization and no, joining a bowling league or motorcycle club does not automatically mean criminal organization.

However, the case law has been long established that the Hells angels use the name and reputation of their organization to sell and protect people who sell drugs for them. It has become clear that the Hells Angels use puppet clubs to sell drugs and to commit crime for them. After it had been legally established that the hells angels are a criminal organization, their clubhouse was seized in Halifax. Changing the name of that clubhouse to Darksiders, Bacchus or Anarchy bikers does not removed the Hells angels criminal involvement and vested interest in that clubhouse.

We have seen televised fictional drama about police investigating large drug operations and how important timing is to make the bust. The comedy Bad Boys showed the police getting a search warrant in the middle of the night for an urgent application before the drugs were moved. Likely that was the intent of the police getting a telephone warrant from a court outside of their jurisdiction in the Richmond Ecstasy bust.

I have two points. First, the human ego is apparent. Judges and police are all human. They can and do sometimes become arrogant thinking they are god and the other organization is subordinate to them. As common as that seems, there is no place for arrogance or power struggles in law enforcement.

My other point is that in my opinion one of the most important reasons for requiring the police to get a search warrant is to see what kind of evidence the police have that would give them reason to believe drugs or firearms are in that locations. If the police are going to use dynamic entry with weapons drawn, then they better be sure they have the right house or the right suite number.

Not long ago we saw a case in Ontario where the police broke in with guns drawn and had the wrong house. In another case in Ontario SWAT had the wrong house and the tenant fired back thinking it was a home invasion. Getting a search warrant hopefully minimizes the number of mistakes of crashing down the wrong door.

I do think knocking on the door is important. My father always used to object to ERT wearing balaclavas. He'd say if some guy with an automatic weapon wearing army fatigues and a balaclava comes baning on my door yelling open up it's the police, I'm sure not going to open the door. I have no idea it's not a terrorist.

Stun grenades sure sounds excessive too, especially when they get the wrong house. I realize that when making a large drug bust surprise is important. Every extra minute they take in opening the door they could be poring the drugs down the sink or toilet. Yet the whole idea of the police having a search warrant thinking that gives them the right to break down your door without notice and start throwing stun grenades anywhere they want is disturbing.

Protection from unnecessary searches and seizures, protection from arbitrary arrest and detainment, the requirement to be charged with an offense for an arrest and the right to a fair and reasonably speedy trial are indeed important rights in a world where strange things are happening in our political climate. The Constitution and the charter of rights in the spirit of the intent they were framed are still important measuring sticks to safeguard democracy.

Ex-Hells Angel drops appeal

A former member of the Hells Angels who received an effective sentence of one day in jail for weapons offences has abandoned his sentence appeal. Well this is puzzling. The guy drops his one day appeal. No big deal there. Yet he is referred to as an ex Hells Angel.

Randy Potts always was a bit of a Potsie but now that he's been convicted he's referred to as an ex Hells Angel? What about his co accused John Punko? They wouldn't really kill one of their own just for getting caught doing the club's business?

Randy Potts was the guy who was beat up in Surrey and someone took his Hells angels colours. The Hells angels got upset so they told him to deal with it. Potsie ends up getting a police informant to shoot the guy that beat him up. Michael Plant ended up firing a couple rounds over the guys head and pretended the automatic weapon seized.

More Ottawa Police Brutality Allegations

Roxanne Carr alleges that Ottawa police officers broke her arm and wrist, banged her head against the floor and left her naked in a cell for hours after her arrest on Aug. 23, 2008. The incident was investigated by Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit, which found no wrongdoing by police.

After the charges were dropped the court ordered the video be released. Yet the video went missing and the replacement video was selective. The first clips shows he being partially hog tied. Her body in each clip seems almost lifeless so it would appear that any brutality had already happened.

What we do know is what was seen on the Stacy Bonds Ottawa police brutality video from September of 2008 14 days later involving one of the same officers.

Another blogger in Ottawa described another scene. I arrived at the corner of Bank and MacLaren this afternoon as three police officers were trying to put an unconscious, handcuffed woman into the back of a van. She looked like a rag doll. Then they changed their minds and laid her out on the sidewalk and sent for an ambulance.

In that case what I find disturbing is the police's bully tactics of preventing the public from talking photos. No doubt of the Rodney King video wasn't allowed to be taken, we never would have seen it. As police brutality rises the public do have the right to take photos and videos of suspected brutality.

Interesting to note that someone claiming to be Roxanne Carr made a post in that thread describing the events that led up to her arrest. She claims she was beaten to a pulp before she arrived at the police station. It was her room mate Devon Morgan who called the police. He was a military cop and also worked with the Ottawa Police and called one of his friends.

Obviously not all police are bad, yet increasingly we see arrogance rise and brutality increase. This needs to be kept in check by a civilian agency.

Rob Ford strikes again

Well Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is at it again. He was caught talking on his cell phone while driving and a mother told him to get off his cell. She claims he gave her and her daughter the finger. He denies giving he the finger but his office admits he was on his cell.

This is another one of Stephen Harper's drunk drivers. He had a dui charge in Florida and was caught with marijuana then came out to endorse Harper in the election. He admitted to lying about yelling and swearing at a couple while he was drunk at a hockey game in 2006.

The more I read about this guy them more it becomes clear he is a psychopath. Yes he is a fat f*ck. He looks like Java the hut. But that's no crime. The crime is being an abusive liar and that is what he is. He was charged with assaulting his wife. This is Team Harper. God help us.

Lonely Anarchy Biker looking for Love

Well if this doesn't break my achy breaky heart. Someone sent me a link to an add on craigslist Anarchy Biker Leo Galant posted claiming all he needs is one honest women to understand him. His add didn't say anything about selling crack or the anarchy bikers. It just says he's lonely in Montreal. Ah... c'est dommage.
