Turkey Invades Syria - Update

Turkey invades Syria and the world is silent as the outrageousness of that atrocity continues. The Conversion is reporting that "Oct. 6 President Donald Trump announced the U.S. would withdraw its troops from northern Syria. Approximately 1,000 American soldiers had been stationed in that region as a buffer separating Kurdish forces – who had been working with the Americans in the fight against the Islamic State – from Turkish troops. Turkey feared that the Syrian Kurds would link up with Turkey’s Kurdish minority who have demanded autonomy or independence."

Here are the key points: Donald Trump withdraws US military from Syria. Kurdish forces had been working with the Americans in the fight against the Islamic State. Turkey invades Syria and attacks the Kurds. We don't need military intervention against Assad. We need world sanctions against Turkey for invading another country just like Hitler did.

Let's remember that the CIA created ISIS in Syria to justify US intervention against Assad.

Turkey is bombing civilian areas in a new ethnic cleansing. Boycott Turkey.

Quatar Turkey Gas Pipeline. Quatar was supplying ISIS.

The discovery in 2009 of a new gas field near Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus, and Syria opened new possibilities to bypass the Saudi Barrier and to secure a new source of income. Pipelines are in place already in Turkey to receive the gas. Only Al-Assad is in the way."

3. A demilitarized zone, 15-20 kms deep in the de-escalation area will be established.

6. All tanks, MLRS, artillery and mortars belonging to conflicting parties will be withdrawn from the demilitarised zone by October 10, 2018.

This means Russia's military has a legal right to use force to remove Turkey's troops from Syria.

If Iran wants to build a pipeline to Syria, let them. If Quatar wants to build a pipeline to Turkey, let them. That is supply and demand in a free market. We need to stop spilling blood for corporate monopolies and we need to stop pretending those wars have anything to do with human rights.

Oil in the Golan Heights is problematic. If Israel starts extracting oil from the Golon Heights, they should split the profit with Syria. That would be fair. That would be the right thing to do.

Syria’s Assad Sends Troops North as Turkish Offensive Escalates

Bloomberg is reporting that "Syrian government forces began fanning out in the northeast after striking a deal with Kurdish fighters abandoned by their U.S. allies to a Turkish military offensive -- a major shift that could see President Bashar al-Assad cement his impending victory in the country’s long war." Thank God. If turkey invades your land you have a legal right to shoot them dead and Big Brother has every right to assist you.

  2. You can condemn Trump too on this one, for all I care. This was not a smart move, he didn't ask the opinion of anyone on the ground as to how to proceed. I get the "bring the troops home" thing but this is like the fourth or fifth time we've have sold out various factions of the Kurds against their oppressors, the governments of Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey over and over again. Turkey has been trying to assimilate them for years, they deny that there are any Kurds in that part of Turkey, referring to them as "Mountain Turks". LOL.

I have personal experience with Kurds in Iraq. They are much more in line with Western values than the Arabs, no Islamic Jihad BS, they hate Arabs and usually fans of the US as opposed to not, and desirous of achieving freedom for their people. One rich Kurdish businessman built himself a scaled down replica of The White House in Erbil.

    1. I don't blame Trump for pulling the troops out. I blame the CIA for creating the conflict. The CIA is once again creating a reason for US troops to be there when they shouldn't.

  3. Thank you for the additional information. It certainly puts another "spin" on things. It is usually all about the oil.

Sometimes I think it would be best is these "arguments" were settled by putting all the leaders in a room, only water until the issue was settled with a written agreement. Its faster and safer than a war and only the "real combatants" might "suffer", instead of millions of people just trying to live their lives.
