The New Bar and RCMP HQ in Green Timbers

Speaking of flipping protected land into urban development, let’s not forget the Green Timbers Forest clear cut. First it started with an extended care facility for the hospital. Who can argue with building a new hospital? Then all of a sudden they sneak inside and build this huge RCMP headquarters in another Green Timbers clear cut.

We need to remember what Green Timbers is. Green Timbers is a protected forest that residents are as passionate about in protecting as Vancouverites are about protecting Stanley Park. Going in the middle of Stanley Park and clear cutting a section for a new RCMP HQ and bar, would be outrageous. Just as it is in Green Timbers. Tax payers are not allowed to see how far into the forest they have clear cut because this is now conveniently a restricted area.

I know protected land is unprotected by the sweep of a politicians hand, but I personally am more inclined to vote for a politician who pays more than lip service to sustainability and has some desire to honour protected forests than the dirty politicians accepting campaign contributions from dirty developers to clear cut protected land.

The Casino project is still very much on the table. Diane Watts flipped to save her own ass not because she has a moral conscience. She thought the proposal was a good idea. She accepted campaign contributions from the developers. When she saw the opposition to the vote she knew it would be political suicide if she voted for it. Yes voting against it out of fear of not being reelected is better than voting for it knowing the democratic will of the people. Yet let’s not pretend Diane Watts has a moral conscience. She is a bully and we have seen that in action.

Rich Coleman is just a flaming idiot Kevin Falcon, the Gordon Campbell clone, can’t even control. They all feel the same way. He’s the only one being honest about it in the media. Yes they are on a sinking ship and will likely run off to further infect Stephen Harper’s NeoCon federally. I just didn’t want them infecting John Cummings provincial conservatives because he’s the only one in the lot who really is a conservative.

Gateway Casinos lost $1.5 billion. Before we let them build anywhere in the lower mainland we have to answer the question where did that money go because it did not disappear in a sluggish economy. In economic hard times people still gamble if not more desperately. Before we let them do the same thing all over again, we need to find out where that money went and what steps have been taken to make sure it doesn’t disappear again.

The RCMP bar in this new mega HQ is very offensive. The RCMP and the government’s response to the class action sexual harassment suit is to deny everything as always. So much of this sexual harassment has involved alcohol. Having a bar on site is a huge slap in the face of the public and all those who have been harassed at that workplace illegally.

Surrey says no when it gets public but they pass the buck and let the province decide. One source claims they just withdrew their application and did it anyways. Whether they did that or got a deal from the province, having a bar in that tax paid facility is insanely offensive. Does that mean the HAs are allowed to have unlicensed bars in their clubhouses too? What’s the difference?

Look at what we’ve done. We’ve brought a criminal with a history of sexual harassment and drinking at the workplace who in any other industry would have been fired to BC and given him a great big new billion dollar facility and a giant bar for him to dance the night way and mock the judicial system he was supposed to represent. This is corrupt. There is nothing good or right about it. It is a stain on all of us not just law enforcement.

When I look at all this political corruption and law enforcement corruption I’m forced to draw a parallel with Chicago back in the day. Only we have no Eliot Ness to preserve the integrity of the rule of law. Bob Paulson is doing a good job but his hands are so clearly tied by this glaring corruption it makes me wonder if there is any hope at all. Right now, I’m not seeing it. Other than the wonderful job the integrated units did on the Kelowna busts this summer. When you add that to a clear cut protected forest with a brand new bar and a drunken pig from Alberta, once again we seem to take one step forward and three steps back.

Rich Coleman can rot in Hell

Rich Coleman can rot in Hell. It’s the Gordon Campbell way to steam roll over the democratic will of the people. He should be ashamed of himself but he’s not. That says it all. Others have also said how both in Langley and believe it or not Richmond as well, local residents opposed a casino, were promised no casino only to have it quietly slipped in after everything died down. There is big money in organized crime buying off politicians.

Before it was disbanded in 2009, the RCMP's Integrated Illegal Gaming Enforcement Team (IIGET) gave a number of warnings about the presence of organized crime at casinos in the Province. Now, as Vancouver prepares for public hearings on the BC Place casino - set to be the province's largest - the now-defunct unit's warnings are spurring questions about a potential rise in criminal activity and the ability of police to cope.

In a 2009 report obtained by The Vancouver Sun through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, the IIGET warned of casinos' "extreme vulnerability" to money laundering. Many investigations across Canada have found that members of organized crime use casinos for criminal purposes, the report states. A separate internal assessment, obtained by the Globe and Mail through a FOI, advised that Hells Angels members had, in some cases, succeeded in infiltrating the province’s “legitimate gaming operations."

The 12-member IIGET was dissolved on April 1, 2009 by then-Housing Minister Rich Coleman. He said the the team, which cost $1 million a year, was not cost effective.

The Campbellism of Agricultural Reserves

Speaking of dirty politicians and dirty developers, the Georgia Straight is highlighting that exact kind of scam on the cover of their January 17 edition. Yesterday I was speaking with a friend from Langley about the Mega Casino proposal in south Surrey. He said when he saw the proposal he was shocked it was slated for agricultural land that was protected. He said there had to have been something fishy going on getting that land converted from Agricultural to Industrial. Indeed there was and we can clearly see who was involved.

The Georgia Straight article mentions Ron Emerson, one of the Campbell Heights developers getting a sweetheart deal on agricultural land that was magically flipped into industrial zoning just like it was at Campbell Heights. This scam is legal but dishonest. It is worse than the corruption trial now under way in Montreal where developers are being accused of letting organized crime remove the biding process in a free market.

The article first expresses the valid concern of the destruction of all protected agricultural land. Many of the youth who spoke at the Surrey city council hearing on the Mega Casino project used the S word – Sustainability. Obviously, it’s hard to make massive profits in agriculture these days. Yet logic dictates where we will be if we don’t set aside some land for agriculture.

It’s not just a matter of feeding ourselves. It’s also a matter of protecting the ecosystem we live in. When you clear cut a hillside, that creates problems with flooding and mudslides. When you pave over salmon spawning streams, you eliminate another renewable resource someone else can make money off of and it sets the whole system out of balance. We all need air to breath and water to drink no matter how much money we have sitting in our bank account.

The article raises the concern about protecting one of the largest migratory bird refuges on the West coast. They mention Snow Geese and Sandpipers. We have talked about the Alaskan snowy owl in Landner and Tsawwassen. Somone else mentioned nesting Eagles. Since they are migratory and we don’t see them all year round it’s easy to forget about what the consequences are for all this natural wildlife if we remove their resting places in their migratory journey.

Aside from saving the planet, there still remains the gluttonous dirty deeds of dirty politicians working under the table with dirty developers. Sweetheart deals where special developers who contribute to specific political parties get special privileges on agricultural land and special help converting it into industrial or urban development so they can maximize their return. Why Ron Emerson even boasts on his web site that “The ability to deal with relevant issues and present them in a manner that allows the issues to receive positive recognition is a key to the success in achieving zoning and use changes.” Imagine that.

We still haven’t finished our three part series on investment fraud stealing from the public purse but this story definitely ties in with it. On page three of the online article in the Georgia Straight it goes on to explain:

“Little could Gordon Campbell have known back in 2006—when the Asia-Pacific Gateway project was conceived—that Vancouver’s Ron Emerson, president of Emerson Real Estate, would, beginning in 2010, discreetly acquire $100 million in options on 226 hectares of ALR farmland in Delta, all located in the fertile triangle between Highway 17, Deltaport Way, and the ocean.”

“The 65-hectare Felix Farms, for example, accepted Emerson’s $30-million option to sell. And he optioned sections of the 134-year-old Guichon Farm—owned, in part, by Kelly Guichon, a megamall supporter and Delta’s likely B.C. Liberal opponent to Huntington in the May 2013 provincial election—for $15 million. Offering farmers $180,000 a hectare—almost double the land’s current assessed value—Emerson intends to flip the land when pressures increase for more residential or port-related development there.”

“Little could Campbell have also known that to bring massive post-Panamax ships up the Fraser River to the impending enlarged port facilities …the Massey tunnel, the link between Richmond and Delta, would have to go.”

“Premier Christy Clark, in fact, announced the tunnel’s demise last September. But what she didn’t explain is that the tunnel is not merely an impediment to traffic along Highway 99. It is, equally, an impediment to ships.”

“So expedited engineering work is now under way to replace the old tunnel with an eight-lane, $3-billion bridge (with tolls inevitable). Once the new bridge, with all of its required land acquisitions, is built, Delta’s remaining ALR farmland will face an assault by speculators and developers who have been waiting for the chance to open up the cheap agricultural properties south of Richmond.”

This is the Campbellism of Agricultural Reserves. Just like the sweetheart deal at Campbell Heights that will eventually see the theft of $2 billion from the public purse. The BC Liberals are the largest organized crime group in the province.

Surrey rejects Mega Casino

This young woman and her many stalwart friends represent the heart and soul of Surrey. She spoke in opposition to the mega casino proposal and submitted a petition on behalf of her fellow students at a nearby high school. In her speech, she nailed it. She touched many issues and in a calm sincere and heartfelt plea presented a very compelling case.

Many other youth also stood up and spoke out. One young man quoted Leonardo da Vinci who said "Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence.” He then said he was standing up to break the silence. Good for him.

I was moved and motivated by seeing so many young people make a stand for moral principles. The young lady spoke about one woman who had a $150,000 gambling debt and was found in Lynn Canyon. She had committed suicide. She raised the concern about people who commit suicide because of gambling debts and how that number is growing.

There were many young people who spoke from many different ethnic backgrounds. It was heartwarming. One activist said today is a great day to be from Surrey and you don’t hear that very often. How true. This was democracy in action. Everyone thought it was a lost cause yet so many participated and fought the good fight because they knew in their heart it was the right thing to do. I am shocked and humbled by this success. For me, it is a good day to be from Surrey.

The next question is what to do with the Bingo and the temporary slot machines in Newton. The answer is simple. There are a lot of seniors in Newton who enjoy playing bingo. It gets them out of the house and gives them something to do. That is entertainment. It’s not something that’s so addictive they are going to squander their life savings on.

Years ago I used to be involved with a group that took teenagers to volunteer at Riverview and ran a free bingo night for patients who would win chocolate bars. I remember the look of joy on one patients face when he proudfully said to me look I won a chocolate bar. It was simple and moving. It was a good thing. My own mother is in a home and volunteers come in to run a bingo night there. They chip in a couple of dollars and can win a couple of dollars in return. It is a simple form of entertainment that is not addictive and doesn’t squander huge amounts of money.

Slot machines are different. I cannot comprehend how someone can sit in front of a slot machine all day and squander their entire pay cheque yet many do. It’s hard for me to comprehend since I would find it so boring and such a waste of money. It happens because of addiction. I know a woman who lost her house and her marriage because her husband blew it on slot machines.

What’s worse is a statistic someone from SFU presented who spoke at the city hall meeting. He claimed that seniors are very vulnerable to slot machine addictions. He said they have a 30% chance of becoming addicted to slot machines. That’s more addictive than heroin. That is a huge concern in Newton. Bringing seniors in with bingo then getting them addicted to slot machines is predatory. The bingo in Newton should stay but the slot machines should go. It’s that simple. There are slot machines at Fraser Downs, River rock, New Westminster and Langley. Exploiting seniors in Newton is wrong.

Rich Coleman can rot in Hell

This bullsh*t is the prime example. CEO Michael Graydon in a recent Globe and Mail article stated he’s “dumbfounded” by the decision and says, “if she truthfully had issues, I would have thought she had enough respect for Gateway to raise those issues then.” That is a very valid point and shows you clearly what was going on behind the scenes.

Diane Watts supported the project all the way until the final hour. She sat as chair which meant she didn’t have to vote. Some of her constituents flipped when they saw the overwhelming opposition to the mega casino. That made it a tie and forced her to cast a vote. If her continuants hadn’t flipped she wouldn’t of had to vote and the proposal would have been approved while she played innocent saying don’t blame me I didn’t even vote.

Dianne Watts did lead Gateway along all the way and accepted large campaign contributions from them. Michael Graydon is simply saying if she had concerns with the project out of respect for Gateway she should have raised those concerns earlier. Which is a fair comment. Voting against the democratic will of the people in Surrey is not the right solution. Yet when we look at the special deal that went on at Campbell Heights Industrial Park we see Dianne Watts true colours. Don’t fool yourself into thinking Dianne Watts is any different than Gordon Campbell or Christy Clark. They’re all one and the same.

The Outlaws are Coming

The Redcoats are coming is a famous warning attributed to Paul Revere. I think Sarah Palin got that one a bit mixed up. Yet today we have author Alex Caine sounding the warning that the Outlaws are coming to BC.

Alex Caine has spent 30 years doing under cover work infiltrating the Bandidos, the Hells Angels and the KKK. He’s just released the second book in his three part series on bikers called Charlie and the Angels. Charlie refers to the patch of the Outlaws MC and the angels refers to the Hells Angels. Caine talks about the long standing war that has existed between the two organizations and how in the United States the Outlaws are winning that war.

The Calgary Herald recently wrote about his new book and he just did an interview in Vancouver for thecommentary.ca. Realizing how powerful the Hells Angels have become in BC some will scoff at the idea of the Outlaws coming here. Yet logistically, that is the natural consequence of their pride and betrayal. You can’t keep screwing your own people over and over again and toss them aside when you are finished with them. Sooner or later that is going to come back and bite you in the ass. Just like it did in Winnipeg.

The new gang war in Winnipeg started because the Hells Angels killed one of their own guys from one of their own support groups called LHS – Loyalty Honour Silence, to let the Ontario Hells Angels take over the Thompson drug trade. After they just murdered his friend, they told Billy Bowden to suck it up or become a target. That is bad business. Clearly the Hells Angels are setting themselves up for this kind of violence in BC. If the Outlaws are multicultural, they will clean house in BC against the Hells Angels white supremacists and their Whiteboys Posse.

Alex became the accountant for the Washington Bandidos and wrote the first of his three part series called. 'The Fat Mexican: The Bloody Rise of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club. He talks about the Bandido massacre in Ontario and presents an interesting alternative theory on why things went down. He claims it was connected to a drug rip tied to the Hells Angels. This news article claims the victims in the Bandido massacre had 200 kilos of cocaine with them before they were murdered. I always thought the Ontario Hells Angels denied involvement in that awfully fast.

Alex Caine has a third book in the biker trilogy due to be released this Fall called Angel Dust which is more specifically about the Hells Angels. In one chapter called Silence of the Lambs he discusses the Margo Compton murder as well as another child killed named Dallas Grondalski . I wasn’t aware of that one. Hells Angel Charles Anthony Diaz was convicted of her murder in 2004.

Alex Caine even asked me to write a bit about the Vancouver gang war for his new book Angel Dust in the Regional wars chapter which I gladly did. That should be out this fall.

4 people shot at Richmond banquet hall

CTV is reporting that four people have been hospitalized with unconfirmed injuries after a shooting at a Richmond, B.C. banquet hall. Witnesses say a lone gunman opened fire just before 9 p.m. at the Riverside Banquet Hall on River Road, sending a crowd of people running for the exits.

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that it was at the Riverside Banquet Hall located at 14500 River Road. It is the same banquet hall where gangster Kuljit (Kelly) Buttar was gunned down on Dec. 22, 2001. That was back when all the old leaders of the Independent Soldiers were killed off and the IS became a puppet club for the Hells Angels. We remember the picture of Randy Naicker with Larry Amero. The IS leaders who were executed didn't worship Larry like Randy did.

BC Bud in the Big Apple

The New York Post is reporting that Jimmy “Cosmo” Cournoyer supplied New York with BC Bud through the Hells Angels. One of Cournoyer’s biggest customers in New York City was reputed Bonanno crime-family associate John “Big Man” Venizelos.

The pot supply under his domain was transported in motor homes and trucks across Canada with the help of the Hells Angels, officials said. The motorcycle gang and the Montreal mob then smuggled the pot from Quebec into upstate New York, then into a Brooklyn warehouse.

Millions of dollars generated by the marijuana sales were eventually used to buy cocaine from Joaquin Guzmán Loera, the leader of the notorious Sinaloa drug cartel - with the sale of the coke further financing the marijuana operation in Canada. That coke was smuggled north into Canada where it was resold - with part of the profits underwriting the massive marijuana pipeline supplying New York City. Get off the crack! It's in the Vancouver Province as well.

When they say the Montreal Mafia do they mean the Rizzutos or the Calabrians? Please advise.

More local shootings

Meanwhile back on the ranch, Sunday saw three dead after two shootings in Surrey, a double murder in Hope and two dead bodies in Vanderhoof. So much for a peaceful Sabbath. There was also a man shot in downtown Vancouver Saturday morning. What do you think the odds are that these weren’t all cases of domestic violence and had something to do with using or selling drugs? Looks like we're still under a blood red sky from New Years day. The Vancouver Province is refering to yesterday as bloody Sunday. Names. We need some names people. If it's a fatality, they're supposed to release the name.

Kim bolan is reporting that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed Monday that one of the victims, Manjot Singh Dhillon, 27, was a gangster who died in a targeted shooting.

The Vancouver Sun has learned that Dhillon once worked for the late Sukh Dhak in the Surrey drug trade, but more recently was aligned to several different crews No doubt, since the Hells Agnels are wiping the Dhure Dhak group off the face of the earth.

Freddy was also right about another shooting in Surrey on Monday night / Tuesday morning. Twenty-nine-year-old Manjinder "Manny" Hairan was shot and killed in the area of 112B Avenue and 127 Street at around 2:00 a.m., police said.

Two men charged in Lloydminster homicide

December 20th a Winnipeg man named Dustin Anthony Ferrante was found dead at a Lloydminster motel. The RCMP have charged two men in connection with that homicide. Damien James Mercer, 27, is facing a second degree murder charge and Jeremy James Fensom forcible confinement and intimidating a justice system participant. Now we just need to find out what case the witness they murdered was involved with.

A warrant has been issued for both men and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Lloydminster detachment, 306-825-6350. Tipsters can also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. There is a cash reward of up to $2,000 if the information leads to an arrest. Rat out a rat and make this world a better place to live.

7 People charged in Prince George brutal assault

We interrupt this political scandal investigation with an important news update. Charges laid in another Lloydminster murder and a brutal assault in Prince George.

Seventh person charged in Prince George sex assault

Six people face charges of sex assault, assault and unlawful confinement in a case that police in Prince George say is horrific and disturbing. The charges come after police found an unconscious teenage male beaten and sexually assaulted in a snowbank on Monday night.

Hayden Alwood, 18, and 20-year-old Mercedes Jewett have been charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm and two counts of unlawful confinement. Four other youths have also been charged but can’t be named due to the young offenders act.

A sexual assault on a guy by a group of guys. That is disturbing. Two girls were present yet this sounds pretty messed up. Hayden Alwood’s mother runs a clothing and hip hop promotion company called the Urban Underground as well as a CRU clothing line. The name CRU is awfully similar to the name Crew, a puppet club that sold crack for the Hells Angels in Prince George that was known for cutting off fingers for drug debts.



Hayden’s mother Kitt Alwood is very suspect. Luring youth to wear hats and t-shirts representing the CRU4life so to speak along with slogans like Respect what you represent and CRU remains untouchable. Implying that they are still around and haven’t all cross over to the IS or the GTS in PG. Kitt has contacts in Calgary, Red Deer and Dawson creek. She could not be operating a clothing line with the same name as a puppet gang without permission. At first they tried to claim the Independent Soldiers was just a clothing line as well.

Hayden’s co accused Mercedes Jewett has a young baby she dressed in a cute Harley Davidson outfit. Jesse James Hoffman, the father of her child, was wanted by the police for criminal harassment. He’s 5’ 8” and weights 130 lbs. Doesn’t look very threatening. Perhaps it’s the mob mentality that will swarm and rape a young boy. Looks like we still need some time with Dr. Phil. That sure ‘aint respecting what you represent. That's not even respecting yourself.



Just for the record, whoever told you it’s not gay if you don’t look them in the eye was lying. It is. The fact that you can get an erection sodomizing a teenage boy clearly shows that’s exactly what you are. Perhaps we should have public demonstrations like they did in India calling for the death penalty of these deranged maggots. Clearly reporting these maggots to the police isn’t being a rat or a squid. Failing to do so is. Thanks to the efforts of Chuck Cadman the deranged young offenders can and should be tried as adults since it classifies as a violent crime.

Interesting to note that the new Young Offenders act also drops the absolute ban on publishing the names of youth involved with the courts. I totally missed that. That change was made way back in the year 2000. The Youth Criminal Justice Act (Feb 19 2002) states the names of 15 to 17 year olds who are convicted of serious, violent crimes, such as murder or aggravated sexual assault, can be reported in the media. The name can also be reported if the young offender is being tried as an adult. If the youth has been found guilty of an offence and is given an adult sentence, their name can be reported in the media. Section 110 of the YCJA.

Seventh person charged in Prince George sex assault

Campbell Heights: The epicenter of money laundering

This local scam is an example of how money can be stolen from the public purse. Only this scam was “legal.” Surrey City Development Corporation Presents Campbell Heights North Business Park. What an ironic name for a tainted legacy of sweetheart deals and money laundering. The Campbell Heights Business Park is part of a parcel of land the city of Surrey acquired from the BC Liberals. That’s what the clear cut at 192 st and 32 ave is all about. It’s a parcel of public land that went private. After it was rezoned of course.

The city of Surrey bought the crown land from the BC Liberals at $35,000 an acre. They then sold 260 acres to three dirty developers who were friends of the BC Liberals and contributed to their campaign - Milan Ilich, Joseph Segal and Emerson. They sold it to these campaign contributors at cost, $35,000 an acre and kept 220 acres for themselves. Now those same special developers are reselling that land for $750,000 - $850,000 and acre. They made 24 times their investment in this sweetheart deal. That’s assuming of course they actually put any real money on the table at all. Why Campbell Heights Limited Partnership even contributed to the BC Liberals.

So in reality, the city of Surrey helped these campaign contributors steal $2 billion from the public purse. That is a huge concern. Just like BC Rail. Selling off public assets to campaign contributors. That is what caused the Greek financial crisis. Public money went private then disappeared. That was more tied to investment fraud but this is another example of how public money can be stolen through real estate. The question I want to know is how is the city of Surrey’s secret development corporation going to report their net gain on their 220 acres? That’s at least $1.5 billion. Does that go to tax revenue or does it disappear into some politician’s pocket? That kind of money could sure help pay down the Port Mann Bridge.

Obviously there are many concerns on the table. Helping campaign contributors steal from the public purse is one. Having city hall run their own development corporation is another. Developers are supposed to be independent and bid on projects. They have to apply to city hall for zoning. What Surrey First is doing is just as bad as the corruption trials in Montreal yet what they are doing is legal. It is however, just as dishonest.

The other concern is, why won’t the local media report any of this? Can the local media be controlled by advertizing dollars from the Laura Balance group? Why that would be Conrad Black censorship all over again. Local Surrey blogger Laila Yuile has already reported on the conflict of interest involved in the city running it’s own development corporation as well as the dirty deal done dirt cheap at the Campbell Heights Industrial Park. Yet she is the only one.



The other concern is simply bad planning. Sending herds of diesel trucks down a residential road is a real concern. Most of 32 ave is rural but not all. One townhouse complex has been steam rolled over by city hall in this sweetheart deal of “progress.”



Who pays for all the road developments building a freeway to their industrial part in the middle of what was agricultural land? Is that more tax dollars going to aid and benefit dirty developers who contributed to the BC Liberals? No wonder there is such a close bond between Gordon Campbell’s Liberals and Surrey First.



Campbell Heights is an area of Surrey that was named before the infamous sleazeball Gordon Campbell became premier and left office with the lowest approval rating in the country. Yet the Campbell Heights Industrial Park is clearly named after him and is the perfect example of how Surrey First is bringing back Gordon Campbell’s sleazy selfishness to new heights for the world to see. I think that deserves a monument. A giant Gordon Campbell monument to self indulgence. Well done urban cowboys.

Secrets and Lies of the Bailout

Next we’re going to take three steps over the fiscal cliff. Three short posts about investment fraud and stealing from the public purse. The first step is a peek at another timely article in this month’s Rolling Stone magazine a blog reader sent in. It’s another good one by Matt Taibbi about Secrets and Lies of the Bailout.

Matt Taibbi wrote another great article in March 2010 for the Rolling Stone called the Looting of Main Street. In August of 2012 Matt wrote an informative expose on Bain Capital. This month’s article talks about how $700 billion in taxpayer money to rescue Wall Street from its own chicanery and greed was based on a lie. It’s a good read and the first of three steps over our fiscal cliff series on theft from the public purse locally and internationally.

Surrey Judge over turns gun related minimum sentence

A Surrey judge has ruled the government’s law applying a mandatory minimum sentence to a gun charge is unconstitutional. He is wrong. In the United States they have a constitutional right to bear arms. We do not. James Bahen claims the “Law creates an arbitrary and fundamentally unjust sentencing process.” He is wrong. It imposes a mandatory minimum for gun related crime.

However, if you look at the case, the offence the person was charged with was the possession of a firearm. It was not the use of a firearm to commit a criminal offense. Those are two entirely different things. If you use a firearm to commit a crime, a mandatory minimum sentence is needed to deal with the outrageous amount of gun related violence we now see in our communities.

However, 3 years in jail for the possession of a firearm is in my opinion, excessive. It’s got nothing to do with the constitution, it has everything to do with logic and justice. We see numerous prolific offenders who commit an outrageous amount of property crime getting a slap on the wrist and released right away. Three years for the simple possession of a firearm in comparison is excessive.

Let’s say I get fed up with all the death threats and decide to carry a gun to protect myself and my family. Having no criminal record, getting three years in jail for the simple possession of a firearm without committing a criminal offence is not only excessive, it’s wrong.

Yes, violence is not the answer, yet somewhere we need to draw the line between sailor’s rights and the protection of persons and property on one side, and those who want to commit criminal acts by harming persons and stealing property on the other. The law should protect sailor’s rights. I.E. someone who is protecting his family and property. The law should not penalize someone for that. Just saying.

I was ready to slam this judge for being from outter space but upon examining the case on hand I will agree a three year mandatory minimum is excessive. Having said that, I think a three year mandatory minimum for using a firearm to commit a crime, namely shoot your ex or a a rival drug dealer in public or do a home invasion or rape, then yes a three year mandatory minimum is totally in order and if any judge says otherwise then I would say they are from outer space and need to set aside their dry heaving arrogance long enough to open their eyes and use some common sense. The constitution makes reference to public safety. Mandatory minimums for a gun related offence that jeopardize public safety fulfills the constitution they don’t violate it.

Without screaming like a raging lunatic, I think armed guards in schools could be a good thing. After Operation Fast and Furious I don’t think the Obama administration, the Clinton administration or the Bush administration(s) are trustworthy enough to disarm the nation. I agree with Jesse Ventura. The right to bear arms isn’t about hunting.



One blog reader just wrote in and cited Project Exile in the US which was a successful federal program that applied mandatory minimum sentences to crime committed with a firearm. Opponents to the plan cites wording in the law which does not apply to violent crime just the possession of certain types of firearms. Clearly we must be vigilant in reading the fine print in all bills the government proposes. The common ground is minimum sentences for using a firearm to commit a criminal act such as rob or rape. Not for possession only.

Another Canadian tourist killed in Mexico

Chris Rogers, an Edmonton university student has died in Mexico. Initial reports were sketchy. First report claimed he got in a fight, was punched in the nose and fell off a balcony. Only he was punched in a night club and fell off the balcony after he was taken back to the hotel by friends. Seemingly the punch gave him a concussion which made him dizzy, implying that’s why he fell off the balcony. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

Who punched him and gave him a “concussion”? Did they follow him to his hotel? Another tragedy has resulted in the loss of another young life. An engineer student with a bright future ahead of him snuffed out for no reason.

There have been quite a few Canadians killed in Mexico. On April 27, 2012, Thomas Gisby was gunned down in Mexico outside a Starbucks. He wasn’t a tourist. He was involved in the drug trade as were Elliot Castenada and Ahmet (Lou) Kaawach who were gunned down in 2008 as well as Gordon Kendall and Jeffry Ivans gunned down in 2009. Salih Sahbaz was another BC resident involved inn the drug trade gunned down in Mexico last year.

However, number tourists have been killed Mexico as well. In November 2012, the body of B.C. man Ron Mackintosh was found dead. Mexican officials said Mackintosh had been dead for several days before his body was found. He had a cord around his neck and was tied to a tree.

In January 2012 a UBC student who was in Mexico working on her doctorate was murdered along with her boyfriend. They were bound, stabbed, set on fire and buried on a beach. Each tragedy represents a profound loss and criminals who have lost touch with humanity.

Bruno Lefebvre was shot this morning in north Montreal at a plumbing business he worked at. Bruno was a member of the Rockers, a Hells Angels puppet club and a prospect for the Nomads when he was convicted of conspiracy to traffic in drugs and gangsterism in 2004.The Rockers is the puppet club Greg Wooley was with. Most media reports state Bruno was a former member of the Rockers but he can't have been out of jail long with statutory release and all.

Idle no More

There’s a new protest movement going around that members of the First Nations community are calling idle no more. Evidently they are playing on a stereotype about being idle and not working. So when I hear a group of people rally together and publically commit to being idle no more, I’m sure others join in with me cheering their commitment to get a job and not being idle any more.

I do have two concerns. There clearly are problems on many Native reservations. This news video may be propaganda, but it talks about numbers of dollars going into some of these reservations and how that money is being sucked up by chiefs, elders and politicians while the condition of their reservations continue to deteriorate. Something fishy is going on.

Yes there is a problem with repairs but there is also a problem with money allotted for repairs filling someone’s pocket and not going to where it’s supposed to go. This is something that needs to be addressed especially when you talk about inherit right to self government. I know several natives that don’t trust their chiefs and elders with the money that is currently given them. You wanna turn around and make those shady politicians kings and queens in a monarchy? I think many members of the reservations have concerns with that.

There has been some past history of injustice that has affected the First Nations community in Canada. They aren’t the only ones. Chinese Canadians were exploited to build the railway. Japanese Canadians had their land taken away from them during the war. Recognizing an injustice is important to heal and over come it. It doesn’t turn us into victims for the rest of eternity. Nor does it give victims a license to become bullies themselves.

Canada is full of people from different ethnic backgrounds from all around the world. It’s not just a matter of the white man coming here and taking over. It’s a matter of a global population sharing the earth mother nature has given us to be stewards of. All of us, regardless of what ethnic background we come from, have to get a job and provide for ourselves. Going back in time and living off the land in tents doesn’t cut it any more. Times change and no one has a right to extort others to avoid having to get a job and take responsibility for their own life.

Not paying taxes is bad enough. I suppose no Native in Canada drives on a public road or ever goes to a public hospital. Idle no more means getting a job and paying taxes like everyone else.

This is a woman who makes $70,000.00 a year tax free, has no mortgage because she gets a free home and pays no property tax. Most of us contribute to United Way in some form. How much of that excessive salary does she spend on the starving members of her band? An audit of the bands finances has found significant documentation lacking for the $104 million transferred to the band between 2005 and 2011.

Habitat for Humanity can oversee repairs and building new homes on Native reserves. Members of the reservations can chip in and help build their new homes. This will give the youth something constructive to do that will not only help the suicide rate but give them a life skill where they can get a high paying job in construction industry. Darth Maul may have been misunderstood but the dark side is not. Make no mistake about it. Good and evil do exist. Greed and selfishness can consume people and blind them putting them on a different path than they originally started out on.

In Vancouver some people are complaining about the mixed use development sites that add affordable housing and social housing to private condos and business development. I totally support them. 20 units of affordable housing in a nice condo is a lot better than 10 units in a slum lord mansion. Yet the city of Surrey has completely omitted mixed use development from it’s business plan. Instead they are putting up roadblocks to homeless shelters and building a big fence around the Front Room so people don’t have to see the homeless.

It is inherently hypocritical when a politician will accept large campaign contributions from companies that launder drug money then turn around and oppress the homeless not the drug dealers. Oh we want the drug dealers money. We just don’t want to have to look or think about the homeless. That is wrong. The Surrey Urban Mission needs a home. We need to find them one. The making of a criminal and a crime fighter

What makes a man, or in most cases a boy, a criminal? Stealing cars? Breaking into someone’s home? That’ll do it. Petty car thieves and people who do B&Es are rats. Surrey Jacks. Petty thieves. At what point does a petty thief become a respected gangster? They don’t. They’re cut from the same cloth.

Stealing high end cars doesn’t make a car thief respectable. He’s still just a car thief. Vin Diesel became a police agent to help bust up a high end stolen car ring in the movie Triple X. Vin Diesel wasn’t the rat. It’s the same with selling crack. A crack dealer is a low life piece of garbage. At what point does a low life crack dealer become a respectable gangster? He doesn’t. It doesn’t matter how many keys of coke he slings, he’s still just a crack dealer selling rat poison on the street.

Everyone says the Hells Angels have a no rape rule. That is such a lie. It’s just a bullsh*t PR stunt. Mom Boucher became a member of the Hells Angels as soon as he got out of prison for armed rape. Boucher was a drug user and petty thief. He had a list of break and enters and theft. He stole cigarettes, TVs and electronics. November 1975 he and a friend burst into a Butcher shop and robbed a 71 year old owner with a riffle and a butcher knife. Selling drugs in a larger scale doesn’t make him respectable. Boucher was stabbed in prison again in 2010.

Giles getting busted for drugs was no surprise. The surprise was Johnny Newcome’s stolen car ring for the Hells Angels in Kelowna. Stealing cars, boats and motorcycles is ratlike. Is Vin Diesel making a come back as Xander Cage in Triple X? Let’s hope so. The world needs more people like him. We need a Xander Cage busting up a Sons of Anarchy drug, pimp and stolen bike ring. Somebody’s gotta take out the trash.

Joey Verma’s murder trial will proceed in Kelowna

Castanet is reporting that Joey Verma’s application to have his case transferred out of Kelowna was denied on Thursday. The trial will finally proceed in September. That is a huge delay. Britney Irving did not deserve to be murdered. Reporting a murderer to the police is not being a rat. Failing to do so is.

Public outrage over gang rape

The outrageous gang rape in India has resulted in public demonstrations for justice. In India the laws call for the death penalty for murder and life in prison for rape. Some may argue that a civilized society cannot exist if it believes in the death penalty. Others argue that a civilized society can’t exist if it doesn’t. After all what kind of outrageous brutality are we willing to endorse?

My point is that the brutal gang rape in India has moved a nation to cry our for justice. Indeed we have all been moved around the globe as a result. Rape is a heinous crime. Gang rape falls into the category of mental illness as does a violent rape resulting in a brutal assault and or murder. Like we saw earlier last month in Surrey for a drug debt.

I am told that days after that poor woman was brutally raped and beaten in Whalley, a live grenade was found in a lot across the street. Yet since it happened in Whalley not a word was mentioned in the press. There is a dark evil in Surrey that is trying to hide the truth from the public. This needs to be addressed. When we hide evil, we become accessories to it.



Tragically with all this public outcry for justice in India, another gang rape has occurred there involving another bus driver. A woman got on a bus to go home. The bus driver refused to stop in her town and drove her to another location where he and another man took her to meet five others and they all took turns gang raping her. This is deranged. This is the kind of thing that I personally would support the death penalty for because they obviously don’t care about public safety.

What’s worse is we see the same thing happen here again in Canada. Only a group of six deranged gang banger wannabes beat and gang raped a teenage boy in Prince George and left him for dead in a snow bank. Rape is heinous. Gang rape is mentally ill. Gang raping a teenage boy is not cool. This element of society is deranged.

Bacchus’ three stooges face criminal org charges

People were asking what the status of the previous charges involving Bacchus members uttering threats in Dartmouth. Well here it is… the news everyone on the East coast is buzzing about. Those uttering threat charges have now been upgraded for the benefit of a criminal organization. Three cheers. People were asking why these criminals can run around breaking the law without criminal organization charges being laid. I did say that all these crimes build a case for criminal organization and that time has come. That’s kinda what I meant when I said they weren’t very bright attracting all that heat.

Nova Scotia RCMP announced on their facebook page that as a result of an ongoing investigation from September 2012, the RCMP Combined Forces Intelligence Unit (CFIU),have laid additional charges against three members of the Bacchus Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. This is the first time Criminal Organization charges have been laid against Bacchus since they were established.

Patrick James, 45, of Dartmouth, Duane Howe, 43, from Grand Desert, and David Pearce, 38, of Dartmouth, were charged with commission of an offence for a criminal organization as well as extortion. The men will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on Jan. 7.

So tell me, if the Hells Angels shoot the three stooges like they did Juel Stanton, does that mean the criminal organization charges would be dropped? Please advise. Oh they wouldn’t be that dirty would they? Don’t kid yourself. It’s all about what you can do for the organization not what the organization can do for you.

New Developments

CBC is reporting these criminal organization threats centre around an incident where members of Bacchus banned a person from wearing a patch from another MC. After they forced him to cut up the patch, they later banned him from attending a public MC event.

Once again this brings us to who are the Hells Angels or any other finger puppet to tell anyone what they can or cannot wear. Like the Bacchus member in PEI banning people from wearing Sons of Anarchy gear. This is about small town idiots trying to be bullies. No one likes a bully.

Another Bacchus president charged with attempted murder

Well Bacchus are sure proving to be the patron saints of stupidity. Last night they kicked off the new year by adding more attempted murder charges to their list of criminal organization activities while they launch their ridiculous new web site.

CBC is reporting that Paul Roderick Fowler who has been president and spokesperson of the Hants County chapter of Bacchus since 2010 has been charged with attempted murder after attacking someone last night with a hammer. These hillbillies think that just because they kiss Hells Angels ass, that gives them the right to be bullies in small towns. Crack heads. Maybe in their case it’s the mushrooms.

“When we arrived, we found that a 50-year-old man had been attacked, as well as a female who had tried to intervene,” he said. “The suspect had used a hammer in the assault, and the victims sustained what we’d call non-life threatening injuries.” MacRae said the three parties are known to each other, and investigators soon arrested Paul Roderick Fowler, 44, at another home on Renfrew Drive.

He used a hammer on a woman who tried to intervene. Who’s the bitch now? On October 3rd, 2012, a Bacchus member was implicated in the murder of 54 year old Walter “Buddy” Wheeler of Fredericton when he ordered someone else to jump the guy while they both tag teamed him. Sounds like a criminal organization to me.

Let’s not forget Matthew Foley, president of the Saint John chapter of Bacchus who plead guilty to manslaughter after he was caught on video running back to the clubhouse to reload as he chased a guy he couldn’t take in a fight with a gun and shot up the whole neighborhood. The brain surgeons lost their clubhouse after that stupid move.

Didn’t Bacchus get caught selling drugs for the Hells Angels in PEI? Yeah they did. That was tied to the Halifax chapter.

Get this – the hillbilly beat up a woman named Nicole Fowler. She has the same last name as him. Turns out she’s his estranged wife. What a freaking meathead. No wonder she left. Duty counsel for Fowler requested that his client’s bail application be delayed until Monday. Duty counsel – that would be the free lawyer the government gives you. What’s the matter that big bad criminal organization won’t foot the bill for a lawyer? According to court documents, Fowler is alleged to have hit McConnell on the head with a hammer. It’s also believed two children were in the home when the alleged assaults happened. Kids were present? Idiot! Like one blog reader reminded me, Pride cometh before the fall.

In a way, I do feel sorry for the guy. He’s going through this mid life crisis and becomes the local president of a group of flaming idiots who want to be an OMG and sell drugs. His wife leaves him with the kids and shacks up with another man. That’s gotta be embarrassing in a small town. Hard to threaten people as a big bad omg when that happens.

Let’s face it, 50% of marriages fail. Yet attacking the guy with a hammer would be inappropriate. Beating up a woman who tries to stop you would be inappropriate. Involving kids in that kind of violence would be inappropriate. Involving kids in an omg or in any criminal activity is inappropriate. The sad thing is, the kids always suffer when stuff like this happens. Any parenting after separation course will tell you you’re not suppose to bad mouth the children’s parents in their presence.

I saw one video of a father trashing his daughter’s mother in the daughter’s presence. The daughter just stood there thinking and the video played her thoughts out loud. Well if my mom is a b*tch and I’m half my mom, then I musty be a b*tch too. It was heart breaking and goes both ways. Children need to be protected from violence but bad mouthing the child’s parent in their presence isn’t healthy. The father should still have access to his kids. If there’s a concern about violence it should be supervised access until that concern is resolved. The last thing we want is some guy to shoot his ex, his kids or himself. That kind of domestic violence is far too common in our society. So is badmouthing your ex in front of the kids. Neither is healthy.

Murder in Langley, shooting in Surrey - Update

So much for a December ceasefire. Someone sent me a link to a news report about a double shooting in Surrey this morning so I checked out Kim’s blog only to find out there was a murder in Langley as well last night. Strange that police aren’t releasing a name in the murder. They have a suspect in custody but aren’t releasing his name, the name of the victim or the cause of death. One step forward, three steps back.

Bacchus are getting their own post for their New Years insanity. All is quiet on New Year's Day. Under a blood-red sky, gold is the reason for the wars we wage. Clearly nothing changes on New Year's Day. Yet Redemption can come if we are man enough to face it.

Update:

The police have now released the name of the murder victim and the accused. The victim was 40-year-old Cloverdale resident Cole Adam Manning. The accused is Jason Terrence Brewer. Kim Bolan has posted his picture and criminal record in her blog.

Turns out he was on probation for a previous conviction of assault with a weapon. Turns out he was a crack user and had robbed a Macs store with a knife in 2009. It is also reported that he was a “friend” of his murder victim. Kinda like the crack user in Surrey who killed his roommate. Another whacked out crack head showing that crack messes people up and causes violence in our society.

Back in Time: Skeletor's First Stolen Motorcycle

One of the main themes in Pitbull’s song for Men in Black III is “To understand the future, we have to go back in time.” For those who have seen the movie, when Jay goes back in time he discovers an important part of history that dramatically changes his perspective on a life changing event.

The Lennoxville massacre is a significant part of the Hells Angels history in Canada. On March 24, 1985 the Hells Angels ambushed and murdered five of their own brothers from the Laval chapter. Mom Boucher was in prison for armed rape at the time but both he and his pal Biff Hammel benefitted from that execution. Biff was a prospect of that chapter and was present to witness his sponsor’s execution.

It takes a certain kind of guy to say right after someone shoots his sponsor, “Hey does this mean I get a promotion?” That’s exactly what he and Mom Boucher did. They used the execution as an opportunity to promote themselves in the organization. Salvatore Cazzetta, Boucher’s other friend from his white supremacist biker club called the SS was different. He saw it for what it was – a violation of the biker code and refused to join the Hells Angles. He ended up starting the Rock Machine with his brother. That in itself became another scam when he and other leaders from the RM crossed over to join the Hells Angels right before Boucher went to prison.

Yet the point I want to make today ties in with our local hobo clown David Giles, also known as Skelletor, the rusty vibrator. In an article from the Montreal Gazette dated Oct 29 1986, the headline quotes a revelation from the trial in that Angels shared motorbikes, parts after killings. Wiretaps played in court revealed that Hells Angels’ Luc Michaud and Robert Richard promised Halifax bikers their split of motorcycles and parts in the weeks after the murder of the Laval chapter. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap.

One wiretap on April 7 1985, Michaud calls the Halifax chapter and jokes with Ronald Lauchlan MacDonald, David Francis Giles and Robert Milton. On April 7 1985 Richard tells Giles not to make plans for his motorcycle because a second truckload of good is on it’s way. “There’s a surprise for you in the truck. You’ll flip out.” It takes a certain kind of low life to stand by and watch his friends executed without saying a word. It takes another kind of lowlife to ride a stolen brother’s motorcycle after they murdered him. That is astounding.

So not only was Giles fully aware of the betrayal in the Lennoxville massacre, he rode one of the dead brother’s stolen motorcycles. David Giles always was a piece of garbage. History has proven it. However, it also shows you the character or lack thereof of the people he’s dealing with. They joke about murdering their brothers and stealing their property then sign off with “Happy Easter, I love you.” Gag. That is sick and I don’t mean that in a good way. Time to shut it down.

The 2012 Political meltdown - Updated

MSN’s news site ran a photo article on some of the more controversial decisions Stephen Harper has made in 2012. They rightfully point out, no matter how you feel about Harper, here are some eyebrow raising decisions he’s made over the year.

One of the items was getting rid of the long gun registry. That however is the only conservative thing he’s done all year. The rest are outrageous. They compared how he went to Congo and expressed concerns about human rights while he didn’t bat an eye to China’s human rights abuses and gave them Canada’s oil rights. That was astounding. This is a corporation with their own police force that arrests people for their religious affiliation. They now have Canada’s oil rights to use at will in time of war.

Robocalls on their own were shocking. That is the direct opposite of democracy. It was a cheap and dirty trick that revealed the party’s fundamental character. Not caring about the democratic will of the people. Warrantless surveillance is all about Big Brother and has nothing to do with conservative values Harper has apostatized from. Vikileaks even went so far as to say people who oppose their crime bill support pedophiles. Yet later admitted he hadn’t even read the bill and was surprised to discover it gave police the right to put someone under surveillance who had not been accused of committing a crime.

Commercials and attack adds paid for with tax dollars brainwashing voters is a dark precedent. Harper said anyone who doesn’t vote for him is either a socialist or a separatist. Yet he is the separatist because he alienates Quebec in everything he says and does. He is the communist because he has not only sold our sovereignty to a Communist country and destroyed the free market by letting large corporations obtain monopolies on the market, he has thrown away the Charter of Rights by following us around everywhere we go.

They say that since a frog is cold blooded, if you put him into a pot of hot water he will instinctively jump out. On the flip side I failed to mention the two rising stars on the political landscape. Thomas Mulcair has taken hold of Jack Layton’s torch and Justin Trudeau is likewise a breath of fresh air in a room full of toxic smoke.

Harper calls Mulcair a socialist yet Mulcair claims that he often sounds more like a conservative than Stephen Harper. Which isn’t hard because Harper has proven to be anything but conservative. It’s inherently ironic he calls Mulcair a socialist while he himself surrendered Canadian sovereignty to a Communist dictatorship. My pet peeve is this endless insanity exploiting outdated stereotypes claiming the NDP will tax and spend recklessly. That is what Harper is doing. The $65 billion bank bail out is unprecedented. No government has ever put us that far in debt for no reason. Ever. Trade agreements that burn tax dollars in bizarre compensation awards is treason and wasteful.

Wasting millions on a fleet of jets that don’t work in Canada’s arctic while cutting funding for the military and coast guard is also treason. The HST is a raise in small business tax just like Mulroney’s GST was. No lie can live forever and these ridiculous attack adds that are clearly false are becoming irritating and offensive. Conservatives in Canada need a Ron Paul or John Cummins not another neo con that will sell our sovereignty to Corporate Communism.

I like Thomas Mulcair. I also like Justin Trudeau. In all fairness, a blog reader sent me a link to some dirt on JT that needs to be addressed. The article claims JT was to speak at an Islamic conference in Toronto last month. One of the sponsors of that event has been accused of having ties to Hamas. At first I thought the link said HAMC.

It is possible that a charity in Palestine could have links to Hamas. That claim is being appealed nonetheless. Yet what if Hamas had a convention in Canada? I’d love to have an opportunity to speak to them. That doesn’t mean I support terrorism. I support Israel’s right to have a home and be a nation. I will admit that creating a Jewish state is inherently problematic because anyone living there who is not Jewish cannot be a citizen of that nation and are then residents without a passport. Citizens without a nation. Israel then becomes a nation without a constitution.

I do not support terrorism. Back in the day, FLQ graffiti in Quebec was seen side by side PLO graffiti. That is conflicted. Yet it confronts us with the dilemma of refusing to dialogue with terrorists. Were George Washington and Ben Franklin terrorists? We refuse to speak with terrorists but will we speak with revolutionaries? Killing civilians is not being a revolutionary. Yet that is exactly what Hiroshima and Nagasaki did.

We cannot blindly endorse Israel any more than we can blindly endorse Palestine. We can support peace. That is our moral obligation. The sponsor of the Islamic Conference in Toronto ended up pulling out to avoid the potential for conflict. In Canada, Muslims have a right to exist just as much as anyone else as long as they don’t infringe on the rights of others.
