More Mountie Misconduct

Front page of today's Vancouver Province is another sad saga of Mountie Misconduct. You guessed it, more sexual misconduct allegations that basically repeat Trailrunners first hand observations which reveals the climate of unprofessionalism that permeates the force. If this happened once in a while we could understand that people are human. The thing is, it happens all the time and is condoned by management. As long as Bill Fordy and Craig Callen are involved nothing will change. When are they going to charge Bill Fordy and Jim Brown? They won't. That's why nothing will change. They have no desire to.

Sean William Doak pleads guilty to conspiracy

Castanet is reporting that "A Canadian man pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge Monday for his involvement in a ring that used low-flying helicopters to smuggle cocaine and marijuana across the U.S. border in 2008 and 2009. Sean William Doak entered the plea in U.S. District Court in Seattle after fighting extradition for years.Investigators say the conspiracy was headed by Colin Hugh Martin, who has yet to be brought to the U.S. to face prosecution."

Previously it was reported that Drug trafficker Colin Martin who's helicopter had been used by the Hells Angels to smuggle drugs, claimed to have the “ability to control 70 percent of the work that comes out of B.C. and what comes into B.C.” He admitted to reporting other cross border drug smugglers to American Drug Enforcement Agents. In exchange they let him keep operating for 10 years. Colin was ordered to be extradited in 2014 but nothing has happened yet.

Surrey Drive by

The Vancouver Province is reporting that "Police are asking witnesses to help identify a vehicle that may be connected to a shooting that occurred Monday in Surrey. Around 11:40 a.m. on Monday in the Surrey neighbourhood of Newton, a black Audi Q7 was spotted fleeing the scene of a shooting near the 12700-block 37B Avenue. Surrey RCMP investigators believe the shooting was targeted and is linked to a conflict in the street level drug trade."

Toronto Shootings

Two shootings in Toronto. The National Post is reporting that "Four guests at a northwest Toronto baby shower were wounded in a shooting outside the party on Saturday evening, police say. The pregnant woman at the shower fell during the melee and was taken to hospital as a precaution."

Joel Alexander died in hospital after being shot in a drive by targeted shooting Friday afternoon.

4 out of 9 Bikers shot dead in Wacko brawl were shot by police

Wacotrib.com is reporting that "Four of the nine people killed in a melee between rival biker gangs outside a Twin Peaks restaurant were struck by the same caliber of rifle fired by Waco police... Two of the four dead had wounds from only that kind of rifle; the other two were shot by other kinds of guns as well. The ballistics reports show that the rest of the people killed were shot by a variety of other guns." So the results are in.

The Bikers were claiming they were innocent victims of a police genocide. However, the evidence paints a different picture. The Bandidos and the Cossacks had a history of violence. The Bandidos are rivals of the Hells Angels and claim ownership of Texas. The Cossacks are a puppets club of the Hells Angels. A fight broke out, someone was stabbed. The fight went into the parking lot where guns came out and people were shot. The police opened fire. According to the New York Times, eight of the nine victims were members of the Cossacks. One was with the Bandidos. So it's still about the Hells Angels attempt to take over the drug trade.

Trinity Western University wins court ruling

CTV is reporting that "An evangelical Christian university under fire across the country for forbidding sexual intimacy outside of heterosexual marriage has secured a decisive legal victory in its effort to open a law school in British Columbia. B.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice Christopher Hinkson ruled in favour of Trinity Western University, reversing a B.C. Law Society decision to deny accreditation for graduates of its proposed law school who want to practise in the province." The Nova Scotia law society were ordered to pay damages for their breach.

The Chief Justice wrote that “the evidence in this case and the relevant precedents conclusively establish that the decision does infringe the petitioners’ Charter right to freedom of religion,” which the Law Society failed to properly consider. No kidding. The BCTF tried to the same thing and were unsuccessful. The Law Society knew their decision was illegal but they proceeded unilaterally nonetheless. There are numerous Catholic Universities and law schools in the United States. They are all accredited. If you don't agree with their standards go somewhere else but don't rob their of their civil liberties. Adopting a single state religion is as bad as banning religion altogether. Both roads lead to the same place.

Liberals $10-billion yearly deficits

While Justin Trudeau and his lovely wife appeared in Vogue magazine, another news article revealed the super hero's kryptonite. The National Post is reporting that "Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is edging away from his election campaign’s pledge to hold the deficit to $10 billion and now says this is just a “goal” as the Liberal government makes spending to spur economic growth its priority." This is the superhero's one flaw. Deficits in good times leads to trouble in bad times.

In the movie Creed, Apollo Creed's son was trained by Rocky Balboa. During his big fight the news caster said he hit the body like Rocky but hit the head like Apollo. The boxer had learned the strengths from two different champions. The Liberals are supposed to be a balance between the left and the right. They are supposed to be the best of both worlds. Why is it that ever since Pierre Elliot Trudeau, the Federal Liberals seem to have been the worst of both worlds - Corporate monopolies and fiscal irresponsibility. It doesn't have to be that way.

Recently there was a funny video put out about how JT responded to a question from the press about why he chose to have gender neutrality in his caucus. JT looked surprised by the question and said Because it's 2015. He implied the rest of us need to get with the times. Fair comment. Now it's his turn. Everyone knows that debt is bad and should be avoided. Justin's father was awesome. He defended civil liberty by giving us the Charter of Rights and represented us well internationally. He was French. He had class. Justin's father's one flaw was excessive spending racking up national debt. Well son, times have changed. Everyone knows debt is bad so get with the times and move forward. Our children and future generations are depending on it.

I will add that al least he's being honest about it. Stephen Harper racked up debt and lied about it hiding it from the public. Like the $65 billion bank bailout plus he spent but denied he did. That was the biggest expenditure of tax dollars in Canadian history and he lied and said he never did it. His magic books were now you see it, now you don't. The Green Party announced he did spend it and it was a lot more than $65 billion. So with the news of Canadian banks making $96 million every day in 2015 totalling $35 billion, does that mean they will start to pay back the tax paid bailout they received? That would go a long way in helping reduce our national debt.

Two Surrey homes shot up

The Surrey Leader is confirming a scan BC report of shots fired at 127th St and 67B Ave. Schools were locked down but are now open. The Surrey Leader is reporting that one resident counted 12 to 15 bullet holes in the house. The shooting took place at about 11:40 AM today.

Kevin Diakiw from the The Surrey Leader is reporting that there was another drive by shooting in Newton early Tuesday morning. "Surrey RCMP were called to a Newton home at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday after reports of shots fired at a home, near 132 Street and 78 Avenue. When police arrived, they found bullet holes in windows, broken glass and a number of shell casings. It's the second shooting in 15 hours in Newton, both drive by shootings of homes in the area.

Victoria’s police chief exchanged inappropriate messages with the wife of an officer under his command

The Vancouver Province is reporting that Victoria’s police chief is asking for forgiveness from his troops and the public after he exchanged inappropriate messages on social media with the wife of an officer under his command. Normally I would say this isn't newsworthy but it is.

It sheds like on the climate of unprofessional within law enforcement. We have heard some pretty bizarre news reports of sexual harassment within the RCMP that has resulted in a large class action law suit. Yet it doesn't end with the RCMP. It includes Delta police, North Vancouver Police and now Victoria. This was the police chief. Don't get me started on Craig Callen and the FOCCERS. We remember how IHIT(it) made it a practice of getting drunk with witnesses and flirting with them. It wasn't just one officer it was a climate of insanity that is condoned within the force and we know that Bill Fordy and his naked dance with flaming toilet paper is just one of many sad tales we hear forcing us to ask ourselves how do these clowns keep getting promoted?

Sudbury Living Magazine reported that Frank Elsner, the current Victoria police chief came from Sudbury Ontario. They also reported that for many years while working under cover Frank Elsner "associated with criminals and partied with drug users, bikers, and hookers. He set up elaborate drug deals, disappeared for weeks on end, was involved in a hitman operation, and had multiple aliases." Don't get me started on under cover cops who infiltrate bikers because they love that lifestyle. You don't want me to go there. All I'm saying is the climate of professionalism is a disgrace to the uniform. Don't get me started on how that ties in with the Diane Rock story.

Mother Teresa served the poor

Mother Teresa was a shining example of Christian service. She definitely walked the walk she didn't just talk the talk. I remember reading a book by Mother Teresa that talked about some of her experiences serving the poor. She recounted one experience in a desperately poor area of India. She gave a cup full of rice to a Hindu mother who instantly took half of it and gave it to her neighbor who was a Muslim mother. Mother Teresa talked about the event because at the time Hindus and Muslims didn't get along very well in that area. This destitute mother didn't care. She simply said she's hungry too. That is what the apostle Paul described as pure religion. Christ taught about love and service. That is what his message is all about. All this obsession with the one true religion completely misses the point. Christ said by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John said he who knoweth not love knoweth not God for God is love.

In addition to the parable of the good Samaritan, Christ also taught the parable of the sheep and goats in Matthew 25:31-46. In that parable Christ summed up the final judgement. It didn't have anything about church attendance in it. He said I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger and you took me not in. Naked and you clothed me not, sick and in prison and you visited me not. Then they asked him when did we see you sick or in prison and did not administer unto you? Christ responded when ye did it not unto one of the least of these my bretheren ye did it not unto me. Today Christ is referring to the Syrian refuges. Christ said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Mother Teresa challenged us to see the face of God in those who suffer. People who can see the face of Christ in the Syrian refuges and all those who suffer have a pure heart. Peace.
