10th Anniversary of the Lindsay Buziak murder

The Times Colonist is reporting that "Dozens gathered Friday to mark the 10-year anniversary of Lindsay Buziak’s death. The 24-year-old real estate agent was stabbed and killed while showing a home in Gordon Head on Feb. 2, 2008. Her father, Jeff Buziak, arrived in Victoria from Calgary this week to lead the annual Walk for Justice."

  1. This murder will be solved, unfortunately people who have critical information aren't coming forward. I believe this murder is connected to the 2008 Calgary drug bust where millions of dollars were lost. Lindsay was not a snitch but those bastards likely thought she was. The Delalcazars and their friends have gotten away with this murder for 10 years. I pray one day someone will share with the police what they know and finally put these monsters away for life. Lindsay deserves justice. A good source of information can be found at www.murderinsaanich.com

  2. How come no one has been arrested yet?

  3. It's my understanding the SP police don't yet have the grounds to go forward to seek charge approval from Crown counsel. Lack of dna and forensic evidence at the crime scene, because this murder was well-planned in order not to get caught. It's never been stated what criminal organization the Delalcazar brothers are connected to but it sure would be nice to know.

  4. It is commonly implied that the Delalcazars are not Hells Angels associates. In Calgary the two crime groups fighting each other were the FOB and the FK. The FK were supplied by the UN while the FOB were supplied by the Hells Angels through the BC Independent soldiers. The Delalcazars are Filipino not Latino.

    1. Not that I know of. You would know better than I if there was a connection there.

    2. Why would you suggest the Delalcazar's are possibly connected through Riach and Espailla? I heard they used to work for the dhak/duhre crew. They are bosses of their own crews now and have been for years, they get most of their stuff direct from the South Via Washington State.

  7. First off....Lyndsy was close to the Delalcazars and crew. If they knew who did it...chances are that persons been crab food. The racists in Vic wanna believe it was the boys but in reality...it was more than likeley some bizarrûe crept ol stalker.

    1. Yes, Lindsey dated a friend of the Delalcazars and by the sounds of it was wanted to get back together with him. When you say the boys that usually refers to the HAs but I assume you are meaning the other boys in this case.

    2. Yeh, heard they dropped a few over the side back in the day. This was a vicious slaughter done by violent guys with lengthy criminal records. Get real this was no stalker.

    3. No stalker. The Zailo’s are behind it. Watch Dateline or Crimewatch Daily on you tube. They are so so guilty.

  8. My comment was in hopes of establishing which group, gang or faction would have the financial motivation/loss to have been behind this young lady's murder. Following the money trail will typically lead you to the prime suspect.

The Dhak/Durhe crew was at times aligned and at other times more enemies than allies but those relationships are fluid and change often. Realistically they were never far removed from one another.

Barry being Philippino and the rumoured facts that he had long term associations and dealings within his ethnic community made me surmise a possible connection.

  9. Who lost millions and millions in revenue? Delalcazars.....that's who. Didn't cops seize around 80-100 kilos total? Street value would be what? approx 8 or 9 mil? Huge motive! If the dels were such good friends with Linds why do they have the unspoken-rule that her name must never be mentioned in their presense?

    1. Really? She didn’t rat them out. I bet it was Jason setting up the confusion for later. That’s how well this was planned. The Zailo’s started planning this in Nov

  10. Erickson was arrested jan 22nd, crime phone was activated jan 30th, female suspect called Linds jan 30-31, Linds murdered Feb 2nd. 12 days after Erickson was arrested. Dels paid back the money they owed the cartel. The cartel weren't out anything. It was the dels who had the biggest loss! If the Dels had not paid back the Cartel for the seized cocaine would the cartel not have gone after the Dels? Isn't that how it works? Just curious.

  11. I found this old post by skate on the Calgary Cocaine thread. He knows a lot about the Dels so it seems Anything you can tell us skate?

Fact- Ricardo Scarpino was the longtime supplier of Cirillo , Mitch and crew . This led to the early 90s bust of Ricardo Scarpino at the train in Washington ..simultaneously Ming got busted in Van going to the ferry with a truck fulls bricks...Cirillo got his laundromat shutdown and couple other cats for busted .
At this.time the "Flips " as they were referred to.in Victoria were.teenagers assembling a crew of the most violent Spanish , European , middle.eastern and Native kids. They learnt how to hustle partially from watching thier uncle and his friends ...but mostly they learnt from on of their Native friends who WS fro. The DTES of Van. Over the next decade they beat , stabbed and shot there way to the top of the Victoria druggame. The main reason is quite simple...these guys will not hesitate to hurt anyone who crosses them...if they lose a fight they will keep coming back until you realize they are actually nuts.

Nowadays , the brothers are now bosses of thier own crews . They are practically hntiuchable.and only get arrested for beating up lippy people at bars and parties who didn't know better. They are better organized than most high profile gang and well known by all gangsters.

    1. How can you be untouchable? I don’t get that?

    2. I get it. It's been 8 years and no arrests. 8 years ago people said this murder would never be solved because the people responsible are "untouchable" They were referencing the Delalcazars. When you are smart enough not to leave any evidence behind that could ID the perps how can CROWN approve charges? When you are smart enough not to leave any evidence of a conspiracy trail how does CROWN approve charges? Maybe in the US and other Countries people can be charged based on no evidence but here in Canada you need HARD EVIDENCE!!!!! Sure, they have some forensic evidence and probably know who the conspirators are but you need enough evidence for a successful conviction. That's how the CROWN operates. As it stands now, if the case ever goes to court lets hope they don't walk due to all the bullshit posted on social media. Defence lawyers are having a field day collecting all the data for later use in court, just in case they may be representing these thugs one day. I have faith these thugs will be brought to justice one day.

    3. Everyone likes to insist this person did it or that person did it. However, without proof, that is defamation. Defamation can be saying something that is true but can't be proven. The Delalcazars have been involved in the drug trade. So have Jason's friends Ziggy and what not. The Zailos are dirty as f*ck. So far, that's all we know.

  12. Skate said he thinks it could be a stalker killing. Now I read this stuff. Skate knows a lot more then he is letting on, sounds like he is protecting the brothers. He who chooses to protect persons of interest in a murder is as evil as the ones who committed the crime.

  14. Unfortunately the number is attached to a "burner" phone, purchased with cash nearly three months before and registered under a fake name.

"The phone was only ever used for one thing and that was to phone Lindsay Buziak," said Horsley. "It's a level of planning that clearly shows Lindsay Buziak was the target. The issue is Was she really the target or was she a scapegoat of convenience?"

According to one theory, the answer to that may be tied to somewhere Lindsay went the December before her February murder.

"In January before her murder, the largest drug bust in Alberta history occurred," said Sgt. Horsley. "We're talking millions upon millions of dollars' value in cocaine. The people that lost the drugs know that someone spoke to the police."
