Anniversary of Joe Krantz's Murder

Tributes continue on the four year anniversary of Joe Krantz murder 20 October 2008. His friends still miss him. Joe ran an MMA gym in Abbotsford. He was a member of the Independent Soldiers. When his home was raided by police they found clothing that said Independent Soldiers Kelowna chapter.

That would tie him to Donny the dirt bag McWhirter from the Kelowna Independent Soldiers. I used to think Donnie was just a clown but assaulting women makes him a dirt bag. We know the Kelowna IS are tied to the Kelowna Hells Angles. In fact, Joe Krantz was also a coaccused of Jody York. They were charged with creating a disturbance in Kelowna. Jody York was featured in Weird Hal Porteous’ ridiculous I’m on a boat rap video along with Rob Shannon. Rob and Jody both were found guilty of being involved with a large scale pot for cocaine cross border trafficking ring for the Hells angels.

Kevin LeClair used to fight with the Revolution Fight Team in Langley with is affiliated with that same crew of Hells Angels: Weird Hal, Larry Amero, Shane Bunting and what not. Kevin lost a fight to a guy from Joe’s club. Kinda problematic. I think a guy from Joe’s gym beat a guy from the UN as well which created a bit of tension. I don’t know if there was tension between his club and Revolution.

I don’t know who shot Joe Krantz. I don’t trust any of those guys. If the Bacon brothers were working for the Hells Angels and if Joe Krantz was working for the Hells Angels, that would imply it had to be the UN. Unless some idiot got their wires crossed again. There was a lot of infighting going on at that time.

I guess my point is, Joe wasn’t a bad guy. He did make some bad decisions. Training in MMA to start fights along with Jody York is pretty hypocritical. Keeping loaded guns and drugs in his home with his eight year old daughter was totally irresponsible. He had heroin, cocaine and crack in the same home as his eight year old daughter. As Kim Bolan pointed out at the time, that is pretty messed up. We really need to recognize that. Being a murderer is messed up, but so is slinging crack. It’s scraping the bottom of the barrel. It is sad his daughter lost her father. I’m sure everyone now wishes he wasn’t involved in that messed up lifestyle and can see how endangering his daughter was not very admirable. If we can see that now, then we’ve made progress. If we can’t then we haven’t made any progress at all.

Another guy people really miss is Trevor Greenway who was gunned down in Edmonton October 11 2011. I wonder if that suspicious death has been deemed a homicide yet. Although Trevor had a long rap sheet, including assault, trafficking cocaine and drunk driving causing death, He always took care of his friends and made sure everybody got home safe. If we are going to make any progress from all these murders, we are going to have to realize that trafficking cocaine is not a healthy lifestyle to promote.

WTF are you talking about??? Are you drunk or something? Read your own words! Absolutely he was a bad guy!

"It is sad his daughter lost her father."

Yeah, not so much given the example he set. She's probably better off without him.

Bad news. No progress has been made. Not only do these people not learn as you expect, there is always another scumbag willing and ready to take his place.

So what, Hitler loved animals. That counterbalances everything else? No.

Who misses him? I'm sure his family does, but who else? His fellow members of the criminal element? So what. Assault, drug trafficking and killed someone while driving drunk, but hey, he was a good guy....

Seriously, this is some really dumb shit you've posted IMHO. These were were both committed scumbag members of the criminal element who cared nothing for other people, fucking sociopaths. And you of all people should see this, yet you talk about how people miss them and they weren't bad guys. Yes, they were.

"We are going to have to realize that trafficking cocaine is not a healthy lifestyle to promote."

Really? 'Cause yeah, I guess no one has this dialed in yet....

Come on man, you're better than this BS.....

  2. Hitler loved animals? I guess my point is, there is good and bad in everyone. The good old concept of yin and yang. My mother, who is obviously a lot nicer than I am, always used to quote that old saying something to the effect of ‘There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it behooves us all not to talk about the rest of us’. There are a lot of people caught up in the gang war. Some are very bad, some aren't nearly as bad. The temptation to make some cheddar to provide for your kids is real. Then comes the greed.

Obviously Joe Krantz became blinded by the game so to speak. If you can't see slinging heroin and crack in the same house as your 8 year old daughter is messed up, then you're blind. When we talk about friends, true friends, some say a true friend will never judge you but will support you no matter what. But is that really a true friend? Isn't a true friend the one that will be honest with you when everyone else won't. Won't a true friend say, I care about you deeply and what you're doing right now is really messed up. To me that's a true friend. Clay Roueche was a true friend to James Coulter because he helped him get off the crack, as difficult as that was.

  3. While I understand the concept of Yin/Yang very well, to apply it to these people in the way you are doing is mush-headed nonsense. "Hate the game not the player"? What utter fucking bullshit. Yeah, let's just void the concept of personal responsibility here shall we?

"The temptation to make some cheddar", LOL. Yeah, it's called "get a job" and contribute to society, not poison it from within.

This no different than when some scumbag is on trial for something and their lawyer is providing all kinds of character references etc.. It's BS. These people are drug dealing murdering scum, gang members, criminals committed to the lifestyle they've freely and willingly chosen.

"Some are bad and others not so bad", huh? Jeez....If you have a tablespoon less than 100 gallons of pure clean water and you put a tablespoon of raw sewage in it, what do you now have? You have 100 gallons of sewage, that's what.

What a fuckin good guy! At least that guy he killed while driving drunk got home safe. Good ol' Trev made sure of that... he always made sure everyone got home safe! what a crock. if he had a patch on his back you'd compare him to satan. pretty hypocritical.

You have a problem with the police waiting a whole 3 days to rule a shooting a homicide, something they need a medical examiner to do, yet you feel you should sing the praises of a coke dealer. a guy who got drunk, stole a truck, crashed into oncoming traffic, and caused an innocent man to BURN TO DEATH WHILE PINNED IN HIS CAR. A guy who punched one of the ambulance attendants in the face. a guy who beat a guy down with a baseball bat. get a grip. This is offensive.

  5. I sense much anger in you young Jedi. Anger leads to hate and hate leads to the dark side. You are quite right Trevor made some bad choices that would cause many from the outside looking in to say he was a bad guy. Indeed, in many ways he was. I'm not aware of his entire past history. I simply stated that many of his friends still miss him and I quoted the paper that said one of his friends said he always made sure everyone got home safely. Evidently he didn't make sure the innocent victim he killed while driving impaired got home safely. Point taken.

I'm saying there is good and bad in all of us. Even Giles. No doubt Giles was good to his family and friends. You are correct that doesn't offset the bad he did by destroying so many lives through the drugs he profited from or who were murdered so he could get an exclusive control of the drug trade. So here we have a human being. What do we do with him? Throw him in the garbage and start over? Or do we give him an exist strategy. A plan for him to leave the gang life and have a fresh start at life. Personally, I think appealing to the good in bad people to encourage them to leave the gang life is a good thing.

  6. "What do we do with him? Throw him in the garbage and start over?"

    Um, yeah. Absolutely.

Listen, people make changes in their lives when they finally want to. Junkies stop being junkies when they finally generate (if they ever do) the will to do so. It's the same with other things as well. "Come on, change." No. "Please?" No. Etc...Exit strategy my ass, an exit wound would be more effective.

"Slay the evildoers." There's an exit strategy that will actually work. Real low recidivism rate and all that.

  7. Slay the evil doers? I guess that means everyone. The old law of an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.

    1. i've never beaten someone with a bat, punched a paramedic that was trying to save the man i burnt to death, sold crack, or even made sure everyone got home safe... you're right. me and that shit bird are the same. we both loose eyes.

oh wait, slay the evil doers just means the evil doers! hurray for my eyes!!

    2. The saying Slay the Evil doer sounds like a bizarre religious cult. Kinda like how Slay the infidel gets twisted right out of context. Define evil doer. If you are saying someone who tortures, murders, decapitates and dismembers a body should be put to death through capital punishment after a fair trial, then I'm all for it. If you think a handful of nut bars should go around killing people who they think are evil, then I'm not for it. If you think every crack dealer should be murdered, then I disagree. Three months in prison every time they're caught selling crack yes, but murder, no. That would be excessive. That line of thinking opens the door to a totalitarian state.

  8. "Sounds like". "Kinda like".

    How about "exactly like"?

"Define evil doer". Forester just did that, and we were already talking about people who qualify. So there is no need to waste time starting all over with this shit.

Evil doers are people who do evil. That simple. People who live a violent criminal lifestyle that victimizes others and poisons the society they live in are evil. See how easy that was?

By your logic anyone who started shooting Hell's Angels and other gangsters in the face would be a nut bar. I disagree. This attitude you've been displaying lately is exactly why these people have the criminal career, the money and the "power" that they do. You want the problem fixed, but you want the same system or methodology that fails continuously to resolve things. IT WON'T. They will continue to live and act as they do, become rich, and destroy lives until the panty-waist's of the world who employ half measures are not in charge of anything.

The current definition (in practice, not theory)of a fair trial is to have the defendant sit around for 3-4 years and then toss the case because the right to a speedy trial was violated, or to sentence someone to single digits for 20-30 lbs of cocaine or meth. Is that the fair trial you have in mind?
