I rode out to Cypress mountain today and tried out my snowshoes. I was watching the web cam. Wednesday night they had about 6 inches of snow and by Thursday morning they had a foot. Friday was mixed snow and rain but it's a nice early start to the season. They're still working on Sky Chair. This was the view from their web cam early Thursday morning.
Good stuff. I'm looking for some cross country skis now. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get back country skis. They are like cross country skis with skins on the bottom for better traction. When you get to the top of the mountain you take the skins off and clip your heel down like a downhill ski then ski down. They're awesome. Those guys can go anywhere.
