VPD execute search warrant assisted by Kelowna RCMP

Castanet is reporting that "Several arrests have been made after a search warrant Thursday at a home along Martin Avenue. The Kelowna RCMP along with the South East District Emergency Response Team assisted the Vancouver Police Department in the execution of the search in relation to an ongoing criminal investigation. The Vancouver Police Department confirmed Thursday morning's search warrant was due to gang activity." Led by the VPD not the CFSEU.

  3. Red & White. Do the lesser possibilities rate a SWAT team?

  4. Perhaps but I think we need to be a little more specific. If it was out of Vancouver then it was the Damion Ryan Wolf Pack connection. However, I hear there are some Outlaws in Kelowna now.

  5. Its been about 3 days and no press release yet from the RCMP, this whole incident in my mind is starting to sound fishy. meaning the RCMP came up with nothing.

    1. Perhaps. Sometimes they wait a year to press charges. However, you could be right. It might just have been another publicity stunt.

    2. It’s apparent based on past performance no “real” busts will be made. No actual dent in drugs across the province. Just another show to make it appear as if they are doing their duty and making progress.

  6. Compare the amount and timeliness of information released by the police up here compared to down south and sadly, we look pretty bad. I'm always surprised when I'm watching the news down there how fast they have video and copious detail of a given incident on the news, with none of the BS reasons we get fed as to why that can't happen.

    1. Yes, getting rid of Scan BC and switching over to encrypted digital scanners was a dark day for public accountability. Now we only hear what they want us to hear. What they choose to tell us.
