As I previously mentioned, the locally made movie Letter from Masanjia will be screening in Vancouver August 3 -9 at the Vancity Theater. The movie is a true story about a woman from Oregon who found a letter from someone in a Chinese Prison camp asking for help.

In Dec. 2016, Sun Yi, the author of the letter from the prison camp, successfully fled to Indonesia after he was released from the labour camp. In March the following year, he met with Julie Keith in Indonesia. She was the woman from Oregon that found the letter. "Just days before his 51st birthday, on Oct. 1, Sun Yi passed away at a hospital in Bali, Indonesia. The hospital said he died of kidney failure. He was 50 years old. However, his family said he never had kidney health problems. They claimed that the hospital did not give concrete details about his death and rushed to have his body cremated. They are concerned about the possibility of foul play."

Jordan Vogt-Roberts history of sexual harassment

Someone recently sent me this article about Jordan Vogt-Roberts getting beat up in Vietnam for committing sexual harassment again. I don"t normally read GQ because I am a heterosexual but I will say there is definitely another side to that story.

In the GQ article Jordan Vogt-Roberts cries to the press and claims “Dude, this was not a fight. I was almost killed as were others. This was a f#©king assault by insane gangsters.” However, witnesses claim Jordan was sexually harassing one of the guy's girlfriends strutting around like he was god and could do anything he wanted to any woman he wanted regardless of who she was there with. Jordan turning this event into a press release is off the hook.

The Daily Beast is reporting that "Dana DeArmond, a porn star who has also appeared in several mainstream movies, tweeted Tuesday: 'I was harassed by both Tj Miller and the director Jordan Vogt-Roberts shooting for Comedy Central’s Mash Up. I’ve been saying Tj was an asshole for years. So there you go.' Though she did not elaborate on the alleged harassment she suffered from Miller, DeArmond offered some further details concerning Vogt-Roberts, who helmed the recent blockbuster film Kong: Skull Island as well as Mash Up, a 2011 half-hour comedy series hosted by Miller. “I wonder if Jordan Vogt-Roberts was a creep to anyone else.” she said.

Former mayor Doug McCallum has confirmed he's ready to step in, while Barbara Steele is running again as councillor but quitting her party." What a difference a day makes. Welcome to the wild wild west.

LOL The Peacearch News is reporting that "Tom Gill claims She left because we did not endorse her. She had trouble committing to Surrey First and her loyalties were elsewhere. I am so disappointed that Barbara would convey to the media it was her choice to leave Surrey First, Gill said." AYFKM? That's a real mayoral candidate. Not.

State of the Union

I'm kind of hitting burn out but I just wanted to pause and restate the obvious. I think one of the biggest concerns we face today is the meltdown of the media. It's not just fake news it's completely misguided. All over we hear Putin this and Putin that. Perpetuating the Russia hacked the election insanity. Yet not a word about the genocide in China. It's all very misguided.

Post Media News completely sucks now. All their smaller outlets that used to be credible are misguided clones of each other cramming corporate communism down our throat like a Christy Clark ad at the Superbowl. That's why we need bloggers like Laila Yuile and Norm Farrell. I'm so glad Laila is starting to post again. She maintains a refreshing insight in the world's insanity.

As I start to fade the poem Desiderata comes to mind. That's Desiderata not Despacito, although that's nice too. A shout out to the hood yo. I'm referring to the one that says Go placidly amidst the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

The intent I had with the Green Justice Party was to balance the extremes. Doug Ford is an idiot but there are some conservative values that I do share. The left has become so anti religion it has become hateful yet public power and public medical are good things. Dirty politics exist on both sides of the spectrum and fiscal responsibility has been completely lost.

It's no secret that the recent Judicial treason within the Canadian Supreme court has caused me to completely lose it. A friend was commenting about a Christian community they discovered and said to me they're your people. I laughed and said anyone who is persecuted is my people. Right now that's the Falun Gong. I believe in the freedom of religion. That is the cornerstone of a free republic. To say that you can't be a pilot and fly an airplane if you personally disagree with same sex marriage is absurd. What has that got to do with your ability to fly an airplane?

To say you can't practice law in Canada if you make a covenant not to have sexual relations outside of marriage shows us how far we have fallen from the original intent of the Charter of Rights. The court has absolutely no right to tell someone what they can or can't believe and they have absolutely no right to tell someone what kind of a covenant they can or can't make.

Everyone is freaking out about the fact that Trinity Western University asks it's students and teachers to sign a form agreeing not to have sex outside the bonds of marriage. You all are freaking out about that saying how crazy it is. Yet how would you feel if your wife or husband refused to make that same covenant? Swingers are garbage. I am far from perfect but with all my heart I believe in committed relationships.

I grew up in Surrey. We had all the Surrey girl jokes. "What's the difference between a Surrey girl and a rolls Royce? Not everyone's been in a rolls Royce." or "What's the first thing a Surrey Girl does when she gets up in the morning? She goes home." Surrey trash is nothing to brag about. One of the Falun Gong banners said the world needs more morality and that is true. So once again I'll let that desperate housewives parade pass me by as I aspire to something higher.

CBC is reporting that "A 35-year-old man is recovering in hospital from serious injuries following the latest targeted shooting in Surrey, B.C. RCMP say the man was in a home in a Guildford neighbourhood at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday when he was attacked."

Manny Pacquiao beats Lucas Matthysse in 7th-round TKO

BBC is reporting that "Manny Pacquiao put in a dominant display as he stopped Lucas Matthysse in the seventh round to claim the WBA welterweight title from the Argentine." Pacquiao had replaced long-term trainer Freddie Roach with Buboy Fernandez for the contest in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. New trainers can teach us new things but Freddie Roach helped Pacquiao reach his peak. Mad harsh respect for Freddie Roach.

Falun Gong Rally and March in Vancouver

If you were having Sushi or Starbucks in Vancouver today and saw a Falun Dafa marching band go by and you were wondering what it was all about, wait 'till I tell ye. The Falun gong or Falun Dafa as they call themselves are Buddhists that mediate and strive to cultivate traditional Chinese virtues. They practice healthy living and claim the world needs more morality and benevolence. You can't go wrong with that. Their motto is Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance. They also practice a meditation in motion similar to Tai Chi. They are very kind and polite people.

Tragically Communist China doesn't see them as such. This is the 19th anniversary of the Communist party's persecution of the Falun gong in China. That's when they started rounding them up and throwing them in jail for their beliefs. To rationalize breaking their own laws, the Communist party launched a defamation campaign against the Falun Dafa claiming they are crazy and constitute a cult. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I first met the Falun gong on Canada Day 2016 at a protest outside the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver. I had heard the city of Vancouver successfully obtained a court order demanding they take down their protest signs outside the Chinese consulate and I was there with my drum to make sure everyone knew they still had a Charter right to stand there holding signs. The court order just said they had to take down the signs that were left up over night.

Here's the deal, not only are Falun gong members put in prison and tortured for their religious beliefs, they are executed to order for organ harvesting. The Communist government murders them to order and sells their organs. It is big business. Anastasia Lin, Miss Vancouver who went on to represent Canada in the Miss Universe pageant spoke out about it and appeared in a movie about the atrocity called the Bleeding Edge which is now on Netflix. As a result, the Communist governement banned her from participating in the Miss Universe competition in China.

Ethan Gutmann has documented the Chinese governments practice of organ harvesting from living political prisoners. The International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China are a group of credible professionals devoted to making the world aware of this evil practice.

In March of this year a bag with 27 pairs of severed human hands washed up on shore near the border between China and Russia down stream from a Chinese organ harvesting hospital. Local media reported that medical bandages and plastic shoe covers, usually found in a hospital, were discovered next to the bag of hands. This atrocity is real and needs to be addressed.

On Thursday July 19th there will be a candlelight vigil 8:30 PM outside the Chinese consulate in Vancouver. It is a very somber yet peaceful event. Each person quietly sits with a candle and a picture of a person who was tortured and murdered in China for their beliefs.



It's nice to see the Falun gong in Vancouver have stepped up their game and now have a marching band. The rally today started at the Vancouver Art Gallery and marched through Vancouver to Chinatown. It was a positive event shedding light on a dark secret. The New Tang Dynasty covered the event. I was one of the speakers.

After the rally and march I sat down and spoke with a couple of the Falun Dafa members who were both originally from Mainland China. I gave them each a copy of the Canadian Charter of Rights. One immediately pointed to Mobility rights and said we don't have mobility rights in China. On his phone he pulled up the text of the Chinese household registration system. In Taiwan, this system operates mostly as census tool. In China however, the hukou system is used to actively limit where a person is allowed to live. There is so much in life we take for granted.

I am told there is a new documentary out about labour camps in China called Letter from Masanjia. A lady from Oregon found an letter from a prisoner in China's notorious Masanjia labour camp within some Halloween decorations she bought at Kmart. That letter triggered a scandal exposing the labour camp to the rest of the world. It's another locally made film.

Man's body found in burning car northeast of Calgary

CBC is reporting that "Calgary police are investigating after a man's body was discovered in a vehicle found burning in the northeast community of Coral Springs. Emergency crews were called to the 600 block of Coral Springs Blvd. N.E. at about 1:45 p.m. on Saturday for reports of an SUV being engulfed in flames. Firefighters doused the blaze and a man's body was discovered inside the vehicle. A woman was then found nearby suffering undetermined injuries and was taken to Foothills hospital in serious condition. EMS said the woman was not injured by the fire."

Dianne Watts breaks funding rules yet gain

The Post Media propaganda machine is bragging about the fact that Dianne Watts has found a loop hole to get around the new funding restrictions in the upcoming civil election. The new rules limit the amount of money unions, large corporations, and dirty developers can donate to specific political parties. Dianne Watts, the expert BC Liberal money launderer from Campbell Heights has found away around that. They held a golf fundraiser where dirty developers can pay up to $25,000 to be gold sponsors which comes with dinner seating at the Mayor’s table. Now this is nothing new but it clearly is a way around the rule.

As we know, Dianne Watts spent the most of any other candidate in her bid to become leader of the BC Liberals and broke the spending cap. The consequence for breaking the rule? Nothing. That doesn't even include the cost of Botox. She's still just a three dressed up as a nine.

The question we need to ask is why are dirty developers and large corporations so eager to throw so much money her way? Neither group is considered charitable. It's because like SNC-Lavalin whose fraud charges are in court this September, they want a good return on their investment. They slip a politician some campaign contributions then in return they get exclusive rights to inflated government contracts so they can burn tax dollars like an incinerator.

That's exactly what we saw at the Surrey Memorial Hospital and that is the root of the LRT fraud in Surrey. Why else would they put a road right through Hjorth Road elementary and put marginalized kids on a traffic island. Dianne Watts is not a Conservative any more than Belinda Stronach was. Dianne Watts is a tax and spend Liberal. History has recorded that and she's still the CEO of Surrey First which runs very differently than other parties. Do you think anyone is paid a salary from those political contributions like Christy Clark was? Look into it.

Judicial Treason in Canada

In response to the defiant act of treason wherein the Supreme court of Canada did away with religious freedom, the Gangsters Out News Syndicate launched the Judicial Treason website.

Saying that a Christian is not allowed to have their beliefs and practice law in Canada is as absurd and offensive as saying a Muslim, Jew, Sikh, Buddhist or Bahá'í can't. It is an act of treason within a free republic. It is the same as saying that a Gay or Lesbian isn't allowed to practice law in Canada. It is discrimination based on prohibited grounds.

Under Fidel Castro, "LGBT people, particularly gay men, were routinely sent to prison without trial or charge by the state." That is why discrimination based on sexual orientation is illegal in Canada. To prevent that from happening. The intent of the law is not to abolish religious freedom. Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights doesn't even say sexual orientation.

If the court was to say that Free Masons or Hells Angels must include women in their organization because discrimination based on gender is prohibited, that would be completely wrong. Men are allowed to form men's groups just as women are allowed to form women's groups and gays are allowed to form gay groups. That is what the freedom of association means. At the gym there is a women's only section. Many gyms are for women only. That is their right.

The court has absolutely no right to tell any person or group of people what they can or cannot believe. The court has absolutely no authority or jurisdiction to tell a person or group of people what kind of covenant they can or cannot make. Police identify suspect in Smoke Dawg's murder

CBC is reporting that "Toronto police have released the name of a teenage suspect who is wanted in connection with the Entertainment District shooting that left two men dead on Canada Day. He is Keyshawn Jones, 16, of Toronto. Jahvante Smart, a 21-year-old Toronto rapper known as Smoke Dawg, and Ernest "Kosi" Modekwe, 28, who was a brand manager with the hip-hop music collective Prime, were killed. Jones is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder, and one count of attempt murder, police said in a statement late Thursday. Investigators had previously said the teenager could not be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. But police now say "judicial authorization has been obtained to identify" him. "The judicial authorization expires on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at 2:30 p.m," the statement said."

That makes no sense. The young offenders act bans the publication of the names of young offenders. Chuck Cadman lobbied for changes to the young offenders act where young offenders charged with violent crimes like murder can be tried as an adult and named. I am not aware of any expiration dates. The Youth Criminal Justice Act (Feb 19 2002) states the names of 15 to 17 year olds who are convicted of serious, violent crimes, such as murder or aggravated sexual assault, can be reported in the media. The name can also be reported if the young offender is being tried as an adult. If the youth has been found guilty of an offence and is given an adult sentence, their name can be reported in the media. Section 110 of the YCJA.

This is a dark day for civil liberty in Canada. The supreme court of Canada just threw away the Canadian Charter of Rights. The courts have the right and obligation to uphold the law. They do not have the authority to break the law or create the law. However, that is exactly what they have done. The Canadian judicial system now needs to be renovated.

In 2016 the Law Society of BC was rebuked by the BC Court of Appeal for knowingly violating the Charter of Rights. The court upheld the B.C. Supreme Court ruling that the law society was wrong for denying certification to Lawyers from Trinity Western University because they did not approve of their religious beliefs or moral standards. In July, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal also upheld Trinity Western University law school. It is a private law school not a public one.

It is illegal to discriminate against someone for their religious beliefs even if you don't like them. The B.C. College of Teachers tried to ban religious teachers and that failed because it was an illegal act just as banning religious lawyers is. The freedom of religion is protected in the charter.

Global is reporting that the supreme court just over turned those lawful decisions with an insane decision that tears up the charter and imposes Communism in Canada by way of court order. This is the final proof Canadians need to overhaul the broken Canadian Judicial System.

There are several Catholic Law schools in the United States. The Columbus school of law is one, the Georgetown University law center is another. Ever heard of Notre Dame - the Fighting Irish? That is another Catholic Law School. Is the Ontario supreme court going to now disband those institutions? No but they claim they can now deny those graduates a Canadian law license. That is completely insane. It is now time to fix the broken Canadian Judaical System once and for all. Canadian judges need to be accountable to the public who pay their wages.

If someone created a university for gays only, heterosexuals were not allowed, that would be their right within a free and democratic society. If they turned that university into a law school, that would be their right. If the law society denied them certification, that would be illegal as it would be discrimination on prohibited grounds just like this decision is. The State has no right or jurisdiction to tell anyone or any group of people what they can or cannot believe. Yet they just did. The court just discriminated on prohibited grounds. Beverley McLachlin, right after she commits this illegal act retires. Go f*ck yourself. She was made Chief Justice of Canada on January 7, 2000 by Jean Chrétien. Her successor as Chief Justice of Canada is Richard Wagner, who was nominated by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on December 12, 2017. Harvey Wallbanger was also invoked in this criminal act. The not so honourable Rosalie Silberman Abella also voted in favor of destroying religious freedom in Canada. Amazing what a little Photoshop can do. Rosalie was just elected to the American Philosophical Society. Hmmm how's their government grants going to do when Donald Trump gets wind of this? She killed Benjamin Franklin's ideal she didn't support it. Whatever you do, keep that woman away from the US Constitution. She will break that too.

Michael J. Moldaver was appointed to the bench by Stephen Harper. He's no expert on the Canadian Charter of Rights. Destroying a document does not make you an expert on it. Richard Wagner is a Roman Catholic that just killed religious freedom for a group of protestants. Don't you think that also kills it for Catholics you brain dead idiot?

Clément Gascon is also a Quebecer who just killed religious freedom in Canada. If you only had a brain. Malcolm Rowe is from Newfoundland. Memorizing volumes of diluted jurisprudence does not make you an expert in the Constitution if you kill it's original intent. Another clown in a Santa suit who can't see the forest through the trees. Andromache Karakatsanis also voted in favor of killing religious freedom. So are they all Communists or are they just stupid?

Fundamental Freedoms:

Section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights sates that "Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms: (a) freedom of conscience and religion; (b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication; (c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and (d) freedom of association." Until today.

I'm still looking for pages 56 - 80 of the recent decision that killed the Canadian Charter of Rights where Russell Brown and Suzanne Côté recorded their dissent.

Evidently Canadian lawyers laundering money is fine but a religious affiliation isn't.

I don't even like born agains. They are irritating and intolerant. Yey they have a right to their religious beliefs just like everyone else. Ask yourself what kind of gay rights there are in Communism. There aren't any. Under Castro, "LGBT people, particularly gay men, were routinely sent to prison without trial or charge by the state."

Surrey First wants to put Hjorth Road Elementary School on a Traffic Island

Hjorth Road Elementary School is on a busy intersection at 104th Avenue and 148th Street in Surrey. The kids there are marginalized. Volunteers pulled together to build their playground while Dianne Watts built her ivory tower City hall at Surrey central. Shania Twain has visited Hjorth Road Elementary to open the first Shania Kids Can program in British Columbia.



Surrey First is determined to steam roll right over those marginalized kids and put their school on a traffic island. They are building a road right through their playing field. The other side of the school is on 104th Avenue which is a busy road connecting freeway traffic with Surrey Central.



To make room for the LRT on 104th which we don't want, they are getting ready to extend 105th right through the school playing field. However, you will notice that it is not physically possible for 105th to go straight through the playing field because it would run into an apartment building. That means the road they are getting ready to build will cut through the middle of the playing field and cut diagonally towards the school right beside the new playground the volunteers built.



On 104th Avenue the back of the school buts up to a small strip mall.



There's not much room on that side of the school.



This is not progress. This is not green development. This is bad planning. We will document this exploitation of marginalized kids for the world to see just like the parking lot fraud at the Surrey Memorial Hospital. Without question Surrey First has been Surrey's Worst. This will be Surrey First's final act of defiance before the October 20th election. I object to it.

Divers rescue soccer team trapped in Thai cave - Update

The Independent is reporting that "Divers have begun the operation to rescue 12 Thai boys and their football coach, who have been trapped in a flooded cave for more than two weeks. Officials on Sunday morning said that “today is D-Day” as they face a race against time to extract the children from the narrow Tham Luang cave complex before more monsoon rains arrive."

New Zealand Stuff is reporting that "A specialist Australian doctor had gone into the cave on Saturday to check the medical health of the boys and had given them the all clear for the rescue to proceed." CNN is posting live updates. Thai government releases graphic about the rescue.



Video of the boys found alive in the cave. They still need to be rescued to get out.

A diver died Friday while placing compressed-air tanks along a route through the vast complex.



Six Thai schoolboys rescued from flooded cave

Reuters is reporting that "Six of 12 schoolboys have been rescued so far from a flooded Thai cave after divers launched a daring and dangerous mission to free the children and their soccer coach, who were trapped underground for more than two weeks, Thai officials said. A helicopter flew some of the boys to the nearby city of Chiang Rai where they were taken by ambulance to hospital. Rescuing them all could take three to four days and depended on the weather, an army commander involved in the mission had said earlier."

The Evening Standard is reporting that "The 12 Thai boys and their football coach who were trapped in a cave in Thailand got through the ordeal by practicing meditation, family members have said. The coach who was rescued from the cave on Tuesday, trained as a Buddhist monk for 12 years before he decided to coach the Wild Boars soccer team."

Getting the homeless into modular housing and getting rid of the tents is a huge step forward for everyone. Surrey supports Gentrification. Adding zoning for rental housing will make the transformation complete.

Two years ago Tom Zytaruk from the Surrey Now reported that "Big plans afoot for Flamingo Hotel site as developer eyes creating Surrey's Yaletown." This is good news for everyone. We have already started to see the transformation. Getting rid of the Dell show lounge was a huge step forward. That place was a dive. Now Planet Fitness and a new grocery store under construction in a new strip mall has been a real upgrade.

Panchos's is a sh*t hole. So is the Byrd and the Flamingo hotel. Aside from being a Hells Angels drug dealing cesspool, the hotel was also the HQ for the Hells Angels exotic dance industry monopoly. Everything the HAs touch in Surrey turns to trash. If Randy Jones wants to sell Dank and legal pot feel free but his involvement in selling crack, crystal meth and fentanyl along with drug addicted prostitution, has to come to an end. Natural justice will not condone that kind of exploitation in Surrey any more. Getting rid of the Flamingo Hotel along with Pancho's and the Byrd is exactly what we all need. That is progress.

US and China prisons: Two different extremes

The problems with the prison system in China are obvious. China has political prisoners. They put you in jail for being Buddhists. That violates a fundamental right. Then they execute prisoners for organ harvesting. That is obscene. It's all about making money. Yet the US has the highest incarceration rate in the world. That is a serious flaw within the land of the free.

In the US private for profit prisons are slave labour traded on the stock exchange. Giving inmates the opportunity to work for early release is a good thing. Keeping people incarcerated to fund cheap labour for corporations is not. Private prisons traded on the stock exchange is insane. That is simply human trafficking.

Clearly China and the US are two opposite extremes that we do not want to emulate. Norway is obviously the better model. Private for profit prisons have no motivation for rehabilitation. Their motive is keep people in prisons and working for cheap labour. In 2009, the Israeli Supreme Court ruled that private prisons are an unconstitutional violation of basic human rights.

Millions of American adults are not allowed to vote due to a felony conviction.
