Surrey Homicide after 51st shooting

Global is reporting that a man has died after being shot in the 13900-block of Antrim Road on Sunday night in Surrey. One person died in a double shooting last Saturday night in Surrey. Two more people were shot outside the illegal lethal injection site on the Whalley Strip early Thursday morning on welfare night. That marked Surrey's 50th shooting of the year.

Update: The Vancouver sun is reporting that The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) identified the victim as 27-year-old Sean Christopher Kelly and that he has a lengthy criminal record for firearm and drug trafficking charges.

  1. How can I as a normal guy with no axe to grind . Fight kelowna getting a safe injection site . I feel it is promoting harm not helping to reduce it . Personal opinion that may be . However the law today says heroin is still illegal so why is this even an issue .

    1. lol a normal gut with no axe to grind? So what are you saying :)

Perhaps you're the one to start a Mad as Hell in Kelowna group. I think the best thing citizens can do is start vocalizing their opposition to this insanity. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men and women to remain silent and do nothing

    3. It's a group of concerned citizens in Victoria that are fed up with bending over backwards for criminals: http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/lawlessness-in-lotusland-group-mad-as-hell-over-massive-tent-city-in-victoria

I joking made reference to a Mad as Hell group in Surrey because I feel the same. This is their Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/madashellvictoria/

  2. we could consider it sort of like Bill Fordy's 50th anniversary. it is beyond me why that man is still on the job. He simply isn't up to the duties required to be successful. we are only half way through the year. Fordy, Hippner, and council are just a bunch of unqualified idiots, to have had the murder rate increase to such a level, 50 deaths and we're just half way through the year. Oh, well the provincial government hasn't done anything but talk either.

Guess we could sent Fordy and Heppner each a gold plated gun to "celebrate" the death of 50 young people. How very awful and un Canadian.

    1. Yikes. 50 shootings not 50 fatalities. Only recently the shootings are hitting the mark. Bill Fordy is still there because his bosses are just as bad as he is.

  3. Thank you for the correction, but its still 50 shootings and that still is not what we are used to in this province and it still makes fordy, Heppner, and council incompetent. We are just lucky these people are lousy shots and are paramedics are so good, because if they weren't it could be 50 deaths.
