More local shootings

Meanwhile back on the ranch, Sunday saw three dead after two shootings in Surrey, a double murder in Hope and two dead bodies in Vanderhoof. So much for a peaceful Sabbath. There was also a man shot in downtown Vancouver Saturday morning. What do you think the odds are that these weren’t all cases of domestic violence and had something to do with using or selling drugs? Looks like we're still under a blood red sky from New Years day. The Vancouver Province is refering to yesterday as bloody Sunday. Names. We need some names people. If it's a fatality, they're supposed to release the name.

Kim bolan is reporting that the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed Monday that one of the victims, Manjot Singh Dhillon, 27, was a gangster who died in a targeted shooting.

The Vancouver Sun has learned that Dhillon once worked for the late Sukh Dhak in the Surrey drug trade, but more recently was aligned to several different crews No doubt, since the Hells Agnels are wiping the Dhure Dhak group off the face of the earth.

Freddy was also right about another shooting in Surrey on Monday night / Tuesday morning. Twenty-nine-year-old Manjinder "Manny" Hairan was shot and killed in the area of 112B Avenue and 127 Street at around 2:00 a.m., police said.

Under A Blood-Red Sky, Sunday, Bloody Sunday...and weep...

We have lost our crucial essence of humanity.

  2. "Another dead in Surrey’s 4th murder since Sunday."

"A Surrey man is dead in a gang-related shooting after the city’s fourth murder in two days, police say."

"Few details have been released but the shooting does appear to be targeted, said Sgt. Jennifer Pound, spokeswoman for the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, in a news release."

"The man was found suffering from gunshot wounds and lying on a small grassy pathway near 127th Street and 112-B Avenue at around 2 a.m. Tuesday, Pound said."

  4. THIS is what puts ALL Canadian citizens at real risk, F. the Courts...

VANCOUVER - The BC Supreme Court has struck down a key anti-human-smuggling statute, throwing into limbo two high-profile prosecutions involving the rusty ships that arrived off the coast near Victoria carrying scores of Tamil migrants. In a decision issued Friday but under a publication ban until Monday, Justice Arne Silverman said the federal law casts too wide a net, putting at risk humanitarian organizations and close family members of refugees."

    1. We can’t say for sure until we start getting some names but now that some names have come forward it would certainly appear to be the case.

  6. Kim Bolan: "I wish police would confirm names of dead suspects publicly, which I think might help the public understand what’s going on better. But police won’t do that. I debate them on it all the time."

    1. Yeah Kim is way more tactful than I am and will likely have a much better effect. She also expresses concerns about over reaching publications bans in Canada which are indeed totally out of control. The purpose of a publication ban other than protecting the identity of a victim, is to prevent evidence a jury missed being published. If the jury was present, it can be published. If the case has been decided it can be published as well. These eternal publication bans are insane.
